My husband and I had the perfect wedding day at Brotherhood Winery. Every single staff member we worked with was phenomenal. Kathleen, Juan and Gina assisted us in planning/designing our wine bottle favors, and Kathleen served as our attendant for the wine cellar photos. The wine bottle favors were a big hit! Donny, the lead contact we worked with, was incredibly communicative and very flexible. He worked with us to ensure our vision came true. We hired the caterers onsite – Inn Credible Caterers – which was “incredible!” The venue itself is stunning. The interior of the Grand Salon speaks for itself. The Brotherhood allowed us to bring in the décor that brought our vision to life. The venue was easy to work with. Everyone we interacted with was truly pleasant and felt genuinely excited for my husband and I not just on our wedding day, but throughout the planning process as well. Our day went so smooth, and we enjoyed every minute of it! Our guests raved not just about the food, but the atmosphere as well. It is a venue like no other. The Perfect Wedding Venue
I am extremely happy that I chose brotherhood for my wedding venue. The venue is gorgeous and the staff are extraordinary. They were very communicative with me and helped me organize a wedding, while I was living in Atlanta, GA. If you want a wedding that feels unique and is beautiful and guests love, this is the place. Their wine is also very delicious! They have a list of recommended vendors I would definitely use. What a wonderful experience!
You will not regret having your wedding here! Brotherhood is such a beautiful venue full of charm and romance. This was the only venue we looked at sine we fell in love when we visited, and we were 100% correct in following our instincts. Our wedding was 170 people and the room was full, but didn't feel crowded! It poured rain the entire day, but the photos still came out so wonderful and the staff did an awesome job moving the ceremony under the tent. Donny was a joy to work with -- friendly, kind, responsive, and calm-- and was available for all my questions, especially the week of when I was feeling anxious about the weather! We used the on-site caterer (Inn credible caterers) and Trish was so helpful, guiding us through each step of the planning process and then coordinating us and our families/ wedding party on the day of. Our guests LOVED the wine and food, and commented on how beautiful the venue was. All of my other vendors shared with me how much they love working with the staff at Brotherhood. As soon as our wedding ended, I immediately wished we could do it all over again! Brotherhood is truly a hidden gem and one of a kind. We also love that we can go back to the winery and celebrate our anniversary in the years to come!

The most stunning venue for our dream wedding! The staff was so helpful and friendly, and it was clear they cared about making our big day truly amazing. Wedding at Brotherhood Winery
If we could summarize our wedding at Brotherhood Winery in just one word, that word would be “WOW”. We honestly couldn’t have a planned a better day if we tried. Everything about this venue is perfect. If you want a venue that is rustic and elegant, this is the place for you. The grounds there offer so many different backgrounds for photos. When you look at your photos and see all the amazing backgrounds, you would think you’re at multiple locations, but no they are all on the same ground. The photos you can take in their underground wine cellar are by far our favorites. We had close to 160 people attend and there was plenty of room to dance and mingle. We worked with Donny to arrange the date and do a tour of the venue. Our experience with Donny was amazing, he was so responsive and very helpful throughout the whole process. From the first time we met with him to view the location, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We love the fact that with this winery as our venue, we now have the unique experience of being able to visit where we got married and enjoy a nice glass of wine and relive the memories anytime we want. The Caterer we used was Inncredible Caterers. Not only did they provide food but they also acted as our day of coordinator and were perfect! The Most Romantic Venue
Brotherhood was my dream venue. I cannot say enough good things. The winery itself is so beautiful, so romantic, so classic. The stone walls and cast iron chandeliers set the perfect scene for our 100 guest wedding. Eileen, our coordinator, and Trish, from InnCredible Caters (from the on-site restaurant, 1839) were absolutely amazing. They made my wedding PERFECT. They made sure every detail was taken care of. They ushered us around on the day of. They made sure my husband and I got to eat the amazing food from the cocktail hour. Trish even helped me bustle my dress. And Eileen made sure we always had drinks in our hands! The night was perfect thanks to their help. Everyone raved about how beautiful a setting it was. And the list of their preferred vendors was equally amazing. We booked most of our other vendors from their list which just made coordinating everything so effortless. They gave my husband and I special access to the wine cellar so we could take photos. Absolutely stunning! And I highly recommend using InnCredible Caterers! It was just perfect.

Absolutely amazing!
Absolutely beautiful venue, exactly what we were looking for. We had 165 people at our wedding and the room felt full, without being overcrowded. The venue was beautiful and my guests were so amazed by the stone and wood. They also could not say enough good things about the food, the bartenders and wait staff who worked so quickly. Even with last minute thunderstorms rolling in at the time of our ceremony, the team did an amazing job of making sure our day was still special. Throughout the entire process Donny and Eileen were always available to answer any questions and were extremely helpful. Brotherhood Winery was the best!!

The perfect wedding venue!
The perfect venue!!!! Guys, I am not being bias. Our wedding day was literally perfect all thanks to brotherhood winery. They really do such an exceptional job taking care of their bride and groom. A huge thank you to the wedding coordinators Trish and Eileen, they are so helpful throughout this stressful process! I am so beyond happy with our wedding day, every single person I spoke to that attended our wedding day was nonstop talking about how much fun they had. They were so pleased with the service, and the food was outstanding. (We used the caterers at their restaurant 1839, def recommend!!!) Not one person said things were just okay, everyone loved it! Thank you times a million brotherhood winery!!!! Your venue is so beyond beautiful. **FYI if you get married here, they allow the bride and groom to take photos in their wine cellar. An unforgettable wedding
We had our reception at the The Brotherhood Winery. It was gorgeous. I couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else and I am a Brotherhood Bride for life! The Grand Monarque Hall is simply breathtaking. Being the oldest winery in America speaks for itself as you can’t find that degree of craftsmanship ANYWHERE else. It was everything I could’ve imagined and more. The space worked so well for us, both sides of the family were able to intermix and truly enjoy themselves and the company. We received so many compliments on the Brotherhood throughout as well as after the wedding. I especially enjoyed being able to work with Donny- he was always so accommodating, kind, prompt and responsive. He checked in, followed up and did everything he could to make sure we had everything we needed and more, including finding the perfect place to assemble our neon sign, which I only gave to him 2 days prior to the wedding day! He was so generous to us. Thanks Donny and the Brotherhood Winery for a day/night I’ll never forget

Perfect wedding venue.
We’re so happy we got married at Brotherhood Winery.
If you haven’t visited yet, the property is beautiful. We had our ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the patio, and our reception in the Grand Monarque Hall. It’s very picturesque and our wedding photos came out great.
We picked Brotherhood because we loved Grand Monarque Hall’s high vaulted ceilings, beautiful stonework, and overall rustic feel. We were looking for a venue that had a lot of character and charm and the night of our wedding, it did not disappoint. Once the lighting, music, and drinks were added, the hall had a great vibe for our celebration.
We decided to go with Incredible Caterers (the on-premise restaurant) and the food and service was wonderful. Since Incredible and Brotherhood have done many weddings together, the whole process of coordinating and selecting our menu was seamless and easy for us.
I can’t say enough good things about Donny. He was kind and great to work with. The entire year leading up to our wedding day, Donny was quick to respond whenever we had a question. If there was something he was able to do to help make our day better, he did it. He connected us with some great vendors and would even take the initiative to reach out to us if he found something we hadn’t thought of.
Thank you to the Brotherhood staff for a wedding we’ll never forget.

Amazing venue and staff!
We had our wedding at Brotherhood Winery on 5/20/22 and it was so amazing! The venue is beautiful and has so much character, which is exactly what we were looking for. Donny was awesome to work with and was extremely responsive since day 1 when we requested information about the venue. He met us and our wedding planner at the venue a few times along the way as we were planning the decor. In the days leading up to the wedding, Donny checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed and he was there the day of too. We cannot say enough good things about our experience and would pick Brotherhood over any other venue again if given the choice.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our recent wedding at Brotherhood Winery (11/21). Donny is the absolute best. Planning a wedding during Covid is a nightmare as I'm sure you can imagine, and Donny went out of his way to hold my hand throughout the process and to work with me every time we had to pivot due to the ever changing rules. He was able to work with us to host the wedding of our dreams (with fewer guests per NYS Guidelines of course) that would still be beautiful and safe for our loved ones. Not to mention, the entire grounds are gorgeous and made for amazing photos. We used Inn Credible Caterer's, and they were wonderful as well. Everyone is still raving about the food. Pay extra for the lamb chop appetizers - everyone can't say enough about them. Totally worth it! All in all, don't think twice about booking your wedding here!

Wedding of my dreams!
From the first time I saw photos of Brotherhood Winery I said to myself "this is where I will get married"...and yes, that was before I even had the ring!
My husband and I got engaged while on a trip in London in April of 2017 and had Brotherhood booked as our venue by the beginning of May. We went to see it in person once and we were sold. I was not interested in seeing any other venue.
Every single area on the grounds is amazing. From the archway on the grass where the ceremony took place, to the cobble stone patio where the cocktail hour took place, to the Grand Monarque Hall where the reception took place, one was more beautifully detailed than the last. Breathtaking would be an understatement.
Donny, the wedding coordinator, was amazing to work with! He was quick to respond to my phone calls and emails and always had a thorough answer every time we spoke. He helped ease any concerns we had and he made us feel completely comfortable putting our wedding day in his hands.
The night of our wedding he made sure every single thing was running smoothly, and it certainly did. I can confidently say there was not one hiccup during our wedding day, at least none that I was made aware of... which goes to show how great Donny and his staff are!
If you're looking for a rustic, yet glamorous wedding venue, with an amazing coordinator, Brotherhood Winery is definitely your spot!

Picture Perfect Wedding Reception
Brotherhood Winery was an absolutely beautiful location for our wedding reception. Donny at Brotherhood was our point of communication and he was very easy to communicate with in the months leading up to the big day. We used Monarch hall for the reception and the stone patio for appetizers, and there was plenty of space for 130 people in each of these locations. The guests loved getting to experience the winery. The 5 hour time slot for our reception was just enough time for the reception (dinner and dancing), I definitely wouldn't go any shorter though. Brotherhood was very competitive price wise with other venues in the area (if not cheaper) which made it a definite number one pick for my husband and I.

Beautiful venue, perfect for FUN
Brotherhood Winery is a beautiful venue, with its stone, iron, and wood embellishments leading to regal and cozy atmosphere.
The tables vary in size making it easy to arrange guest seating. It featured a great dance floor with it's size and smooth feel, allowing us to party all night. Restrooms were accessible and could handle a large crowd.
Donny was very facilitating, making sure everything was orderly while still being flexible. He was very responsive from the time we first reached out, all the way to the end of our evening.

We got married 2 weeks ago today. And to be honest, I could write in here all day about how amazing our experience was. We came out to the venue one day for a wine tasting at the recommendation of family and just fell In love with how cool a space it is. The venue is really old and has been beautifully restored after a fire. If rustic with modern conveniences(and really good wine) is what you’re after, this is the place. But the actual wedding space aside, it’s really the people that makes the difference. Donny and his staff at the Brotherhood are really top notch. Through out the entire year of planning anything we needed Donny was there to help us. Phone calls and emails were always answered back that same day or the next no matter how small or large a detail we were trying to find out about. The day of the event they all worked together with our amazing caterer(Inn credible caterers see my seperate review) to really put the space together. Everything was seamless, there were no issues to speak of, and our guests had the time of our lives. We heard from most of the guests our wedding was one of if not the best they had been to. We also setup a private wine tasting and tour for our guests the day before to really start the weekend off and that was a lot of fun for everybody as well. The Beotherhood is one half of the wedding dream team, and you won’t be disappointed unless you go someplace else.

From the countless emails and calls to working with us on the timeline to recommending Inn Credible Caterers to us, we had such an amazing experience and are so grateful to their team for pulling off our dream wedding, they truly surpassed our expectations! We had our ceremony on site by the mansion and we could not have asked for a more beautiful backdrop. If you're every planning a wedding Brotherhood Winery is a great venue. My daughters wedding was there last weekend and we couldn't have found a better place than Brotherhood. Clean facilities, great people, beautiful surroundings. A perfect combination!!

Our wedding at The Brotherhood Winery was SPECTACULAR! I would recommend anyone looking to have a magical wedding day to book this venue. It was absolutely fantastic!!! Donny was an absolute pleasure to work with for the past year and half. He was accommodating, kind, enthusiastic, friendly and made sure our day was flawless!! We really couldn't have asked for a better day! The weather was great, the ceremony out on the lawn was great, the patio fit all of our guests and the dance floor was lit up all night long!!!!

We held our daughter's wedding at the Brotherhood Winery. We have nothing but raves about the winery and Donny Nap in particular. The setting is spectacular, from the outside area for the ceremony to the outdoor enormous patio for the cocktail hour and then the event room. Our guests were stunned by the beauty of the room which looks as if it came from the south of France as well as the outdoor areas. Donny was attentive to all our needs through the 22 months of planning. Whenever we called or emailed, he was quickly responsive. Add to that - he came up with some wonderful ideas - but he didn't press them on us. They were just suggestions. We recommend Brotherhood Winery without hesitation for your big day.

Our daughter's wedding was at Brotherhood Winery on Friday, 7/14/17. The venue was spectacular. Our guests commented all night about the simple, rustic beauty of the room. Donny was terrific and helped with the planning. His recommendations along the way were excellent. Luckily we picked the Inn Credible caterers. Kayla was wonderful and the food was outstanding. We used Allstate Tent Co. for the outdoor cocktail hour. We appreciated how accommodating and kind the staff was. We have nothing but praise for everyone involved At Brotherhood Winery.

Brotherhood Winery was the most beautiful, perfect venue we could have ever hoped for! All of our guests were raving about how wonderful everything was! Donny was fantastic to work with, always got back to us right away with any questions we had, and was available the whole night for anything we needed! It rained so we were not able to use the patio for our ceremony like we had hoped, but instead we did it inside the Grand Monarque Hall with the guests seated at their tables and it was still beautiful since the inside of the building is so gorgeous anyway!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue to have our wedding. My guests seem to have felt the same way as everyone commented on it. Everyone at Brotherhood was so helpful in each stage of the process. Donny was especially helpful and accommodating which helped to ease my mind. I had the perfect wedding and would highly recommend this venue to anyone seeking the perfect setting. The grounds also provide the perfect backdrop for wedding pictures! Couldn't have asked for more!

The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Brotherhood Winery went so beautiful and perfect. The venue was gorgeous. October is a gorgeous month in NY! Donny was amazing in making sure everything went smoothly. Kayla and Incredible Caterers and their entire staff were exceptional. The food - WOW! - everyone is still talking about it. We all lacked nothing and everything that needed to be done, Kayla was right there handling it. Perfect day, perfect venue and perfect food! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding/reception they have been to! For your wedding day, all that everyone will remember is time with the family and good friends, great food and drink (the wine was amazing!) and the music! Everyone present gives you all 5 stars! Donny thanks for the DJ referral and photo booth referral! Everyone loved it! Best wedding favor ever is the photo booth! All our frigs and offices have the memories of this day to continue on!!! I cannot say enough good things about Brotherhood. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our family and friends were all in awe and could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. From running to Brotherhood on random Sundays just to look at the space for planning purposes to Donny's attentiveness to all our our needs, Brotherhood was always supportive and accommodating. If you are looking to do an outdoor ceremony, this place is quaint and perfect. Cocktail hour is done on a beautiful, spacious patio. The main room is spectacular for a wedding! High ceilings, exposed wood, stone and brick walls. Amazing! My guests raved about it's beauty and rustic vibe. The owner Donny is very nice and easy to work with. The only thing this venue is missing is a bridal suite. I would recommend this venue without a doubt! Brotherhood Winery made my dream wedding come true! Thank you.

Its hard to put into words what an incredible experience we had working with Brotherhood Winery! Set aside the timeless venue with all of its character and charm, Donny helped us create a dream come true wedding by always giving us lots of support and advice and pairing us up with some of the best vendors i have ever worked with! The wedding went off without a hitch and was absolutely beautiful! Donny recommended we work with Inncredible Caterers and the experience we had with them was truly unforgettable. Their attention to detail and willingness to do whatever it takes to make our day so special will be forever appreciated! Let alone our GORGEOUS flowers and flowered branch arch provided by Flowers by David Anthony. My husband and I had to replan our destination wedding 4 months before our wedding date because of the Zika virus. Donny was extraordinarily helpful very responsive and we were beyond lucky to get a booking in such short notice! Brotherhood is a perfect venue with amazing wine. We also loved the caterer that Donny recommended. All in all we had an amazing time and an amazing wedding!

Our venue, the Brotherhood Winery, boasts that its charm lies in its history. It is the oldest winery in America and the grounds still play the part. With its stone walls, exposed wood and wrought iron candelabras, it is easy to feel as though you could be transported through time when in the Grand Salon. Given its old world feel, my husband and I could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else. It really is a great place. And everyone who attended our wedding agreed. Our choice of venue was a perfect one, not only because of its beautiful space, but also because of its event coordinator. Donny Knapp was a pleasure to work with. He was open and easy to communicate with. Occasionally, Donny would call just to see how things were going and to ask if we needed help with anything. When the big day came, Donny was on top of everything. He was there to make sure everything went smoothly. I would recommend Brotherhood and its event coordinator to anyone. Any couple who books there will not only have a stunning venue but also have the comfort of knowing that they are in good hands.

The Brotherhood Winery is an absolutely beautiful place to have your ceremony/ wedding reception if you are looking for a rustic style. It also allows you to customize every detail and bring in your preferred vendors. Our guests did not stop commenting about the beauty of the grounds, cocktail patio, and Grand Monarque Hall. The wine is also fantastic and is included in the wedding package. Donny Nap was a pleasure to work with and helped plan our October wedding. We are sooo happy we chose the Brotherhood Winery as our wedding venue! We had the most beautiful wedding and it far exceeded our expectations.

Our wedding at Brotherhood Winery was absolutely amazing. Donny and the team made it flawless on the day of and were always responsive to questions and/or concerns. Brotherhood Winery does not have it's own catering company and you must bring one in from their approved list (Inn Credible Caterers was who we used and they were phenomenal!). The winery provided 1 bottle of wine per 2 people in our deposit (it was pricey to rent the space but was absolutely well worth it for the beautiful venue!). Donny was extremely helpful and insightful into the wedding planning process and always willing to give tips on things that have worked/haven't worked in the past. We did a bridal party wine tasting the day before the wedding and everyone at Brotherhood Winery was so fun and eager to please--it was great. I would highly recommend Brotherhood Winery for any type of event--the space is beautiful and speaks for itself; the people are great and helpful! A great, flawless experience!

My new husband and I were recently married at The Brotherhood Winery. It was a perfect day!! The grounds at the winery are beautiful and the room for the reception is exquisite. I loved the natural rustic atmosphere you get with the stone walls and great big wooden beams up above. Also a unique feature that I loved is the history of the winery. We worked with Donny and he made it a very enjoyable experience. Donny was very helpful, easy to work with, accommodating, and provided wonderful vendor suggestions. I used Inncredible Caters, which were unbelievably awesome! We also used Digital Weddings who were so diligent and fantastic. Everyone I worked with went above and beyond and made us feel so special on our special day. His staff was incredible to work with and so nice and friendly. They really strive make your day the best that it can be. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful the place was, how much fun they had, how amazing the food was, and how they danced the night away. I can't say enough wonderful things about the whole experience. If you are looking for something other than another normal banquet hall give Donny a call. This is the place to get to hitched!!!!

On our wedding night, he was at the venue and helped everything run smoothly. The event space has a ton of charm and it was the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. Anyone who has been to Brotherhood knows the location speaks for itself!!! Yes it is a bit expensive for a venue that really only offers a space with tables and chairs. However, it is worth it! All of our guests were blown away, and the space itself is so stunning you only need minimal decorations!! We knew we wanted to have our reception at Brotherhood before we were even engaged! We booked it literally the next day! It books up fast in the more popular months, which was fine because we wanted a longer engagement. Donny was very easy to work with. He responded to emails and phone calls quickly. We were able to bring our family up to show them the space, and he was willing to work with us on dropping off decorations the night before. He wasn't just a YES man, he was honest and looking out for our best interests the whole time. We wanted to put out a wedding sign the night before but Donny told his staff to say no. He called me later because he wanted to explain that he said no because at night, kids have been known to skateboard in the area and a previous couple had put out a sign the night before and they spray painted it! I really appreciated that phone call. He was great during the wedding, very attentive to our needs. He was also very understanding after the wedding when our shuttle was late picking us up, he allowed about 30 of my family and guests to wait inside since it was down pouring out! He could have kicked us out, or charged me for extra time, but he didn't! I already had another couple ask me for the information from the winery just from seeing my guest’s pictures online! It was a dream wedding and Brotherhood was everything we wanted!

We had our wedding at the Brotherhood Winery on November 3, 2012. It was a PERFECT place to have our wedding! We selected the Brotherhood Winery because of it's uniqueness, it's beauty (that stone OMG) and the rustic atmosphere (plus, delicious wine!). We were not disappointed. Between the winery and our caterer (Pamela's Traveling Feast), our wedding day was simply PERFECT! Our guests still talk about what a gorgeous venue and beautiful wedding we had! We enjoyed working with Donny Napolitano and the wedding staff! The communication was prompt and he ensured we had everything we needed for a perfect day. We still visit Brotherhood Winery every year on our anniversary to spend a beautiful fall day at the place we married our best friend with wine tasting, a delicious lunch and to take the tour of the cellar! Such a fun tradition to have! Plus, our photos from the wine cellar are STUNNING! What a beautiful place all around! If you haven't been there, even just to visit, it's a must see! Then you'll see why it's the perfect place to get married! :)

First I'll start by saying that my wedding at Brotherhood was an absolute dream come true. From the stone wall backdrop to the chic rustic ambience, it was absolutely perfect.
I honestly couldn't thank Donny enough. He was so helpful, personable and most of all, quick with responses to questions I had throughout my year of planning.

There is only one word that comes to mind when I reflect upon my wedding day... Magical. I got engaged to my husband two years ago. We immediately decided that we wanted a rustic wedding reception, different than any typical catering hall. We looked high and low, and ultimately I decided to visit Brotherhood... the FIRST place my father suggested for me to look, however the last one I actually looked at. I immediately walked into the room and said "I am getting married here".
Donny, our contact at Brotherhood worked closely with me for TWO YEARS to help me plan my dream day. He answered every single possible ridiculous question I had. He found out my father is a wine lover and brought him in to the tasting room before the reception to allow him to sample some wines which would be reserved especially for him.
Brotherhood Winery offers a rustic vintage feel for a reception. My guests were in awe of the beauty of the Grand Monarque Hall. I heard a few guests exclaim that this place was a "hidden gem". Every photo taken at my reception is GORGEOUS because of the beauty of the hall and the scenery. My guests had an absolutely amazing time, as did my husband and I... this day was everything I could have dreamed it to be and more...

The venue is beautiful and people still talk about it. I loved that you weren't confined to a banquet hall. People had freedom to walk around the beautiful grounds or sit outside near the fountain. Our decision to have our wedding at Brotherhood Winery was not only the most important but best decision we made for our wedding. My now husband and I visited the winery on a trip a year before we were engaged, took the winery tour, and decided then and there that one day we would have our wedding at Brotherhood. Our guests were blown away by the beauty, history, and fabulous wine at this venue! Not only was this a great venue with a gorgeous setting, but working with Donny Nap could not have gone smoother. Donny was quick to respond to any questions we had through the process, attended our walkthrough with vendors to give key guidance for day of set-up, and oversaw the wedding day-of. Donny was extremely professional and courteous to my husband and I in every interaction and ensured that we had the wedding of our dreams. We could not recommend Donny and Brotherhood any higher.

This is a beautiful place for a wedding, Ours was perfect and guests could not stop talking about the stonework, the wine, the beautiful grounds and the very spacious patio. They were so easy to work with and gave excellent advise and recommendations. If I had to do it all over again, I would not change a thing. It was truly the best night of our lives and we always be grateful to Donny for his help and attention. I fell in love with Brotherhood years ago, while wine tasting. I knew we get married there, and we weren't even engaged yet!
It is impossible not to fall in love with the charm of the rustic stone building.
When we did get engaged, we were living in North Carolina. I called Donny, who is the coordinator , and he was a life saver! He was professional, helpful, and just plain nice. He gave me suggestions for caterers, music, everything. I had a million questions weekly, and thankfully he answered them all!( with the patience of a saint mind you )
He was accomodating to the fact that everything needed to be done online, and was always available for my trips to NY... once to show my bridesmaids, and another to show my now husband ( he had never seen the Grand Monarque Hall where we had our reception )
He was also there to over see the vendors the day and night of the wedding.
There was not 1 person who did not come up to me and tell me how gorgeous the place was and how they had no idea that the room was even back there.

I fell in love with this venue because of how gorgeous it was and perfect for what we were looking for. I contacted them and from that point on dealt with Donny the event coordinator for Brotherhood. He was very professional and responded to my questions ( and I had many) very promptly and with much patience. He was even there at the wedding making sure everything was going well. I had such an amazing wedding day and this venue and everything that came with it played a huge part in that!

After planning a destination wedding and being double booked, we had given hope and decided to hold off on planning a wedding ... until I fell upon Brotherhood Winery. This venue gave us hope of having our dream rustic, romantic yet elegant wedding we hoped for. I went to see the venue immediately and booked it without my fiance ever seeing it, but we just knew it would be the perfect venue for us ... we were 100% right! We had our ceremony outside on the lawn area, our cocktail hour on the patio and reception in doors. The venue itself was perfectly beautiful the day of... our guests raved about its enchanting qualities. Donny, the venue/event coordinator, was great to work with. He was extremely responsive and professional... answering all questions, emails, requests etc. He was very accommodating and even facilitated several meetings we had on site with different vendors. He did a great job coordinating with our other vendors and was there the day of to make sure everything was running smoothly ... And we don't have a single complaint. Brotherhood Winery was totally worth it! It surpassed all of our expectations and made our wedding unique and absolutely beautiful.

Donnie and his staff were nothing but helpful throughout the planning process. He was quick to answer any questions we had leading up to the wedding day and even allowed us to set-up early to help alleviate stress on the day of the wedding. The venue was amazing with guests raving about the uniqueness of the setting all night. Our goal was to have a "different" venue, with unique features and we definitely accomplished that at Brotherhood Winery. I cannot praise Donnie, his staff or the venue itself. The Brotherhood Winery provided everything I could ever want in a wedding venue from the gorgeous ballroom for the reception, to the stone patio for cocktail hour to the amazing settings available on the grounds for pictures. Everything was first class all the way and I would 100% recommend the Brotherhood Winery to anybody looking for the perfect wedding venue.

Our daughters wedding at the Brotherhood winery was all we could of hoped for. The venue is so beautiful and the staff was amazing to work with. Our guest are still talking about how much they liked it.
If you let any negative reviews discourage you from checking out this venue, it your loss! I would highly recommend this venue.

Our destination wedding at America's oldest winery found us thoroughly basking in the beauty of a ceremony where our daughter was married to a wonderful man surrounded by family and friends with the backdrop of stone, wood, cherry blossoms and sunshine. Donny Nap and his team helped us plan and coordinate a perfect day. Using Holbert's Catering and Flowers by David Anthony our celebration had delicious food and exquisite floral designs. A few days before the wedding Donny set up a tour and wine tasting for guests. Pat did a wonderful job regaling us with the history and the tasting confirmed that not only is the winery a beautiful, historical landmark - it produces delicious wine! We could not give a stronger endorsement for the Brotherhood Winery for a wedding or any other celebration. My husband And I had our reception at the brotherhood winery in April. Donny was the lead man and he was wonderful to work with. He was always quick to respond to my emails or phone calls. The number one response to our reception was how breathtaking the grand monarque hall was. Our day was perfect thanks to Donny and the brotherhood winery. I highly recommend this as a venue choice!!

My husband and I were married at Brotherhood winery on 12/22/12; and thanks to both Donny who manages all of the events at this venue, Pamela's Traveling Feast (our AMAZING caterer), and Party Time DJ's we literally had the time of our lives!
We were originally a bit nervous to go plan the wedding without an event planner, but truly between Donny and Pamela we didn't need one; they took of everything!! Donny was very easy to access throughout the entirety of the preparation period, he was so accommodating of our wishes, even allowing us to come in after typical hours for our wine testing because of our very busy schedules. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue and the vendors we used as well. almost a month later we are still getting phone calls from our friends and family telling us that our wedding was the best they'd ever attended.
Our pictures are perfect thanks to this stunning venue, the food was delicious thanks to Pamela's, and the music was so good the dance floor was packed all night. We could not have possibly asked for anything more!!

After immediately falling in love with the character of this place, (like nothing we had come across in our search) we almost immediately decided to have our wedding reception here and worry about logistics after. HA! A true gem! Luckily for us, Donny was a dream to work with and made planning from afar (we live in Alaska) as easy as possible. He was super responsive to several emails (I ask loads of questions)...from little things to locations of outlets to big picture ideas where he chimed in about using/not using champagne for toasts, table layout, etc. He was a big help!
It was unique as well in that the wine is included in your package... and it's delicious too!
For those considering this venue some details to note:
-We had 150 guests, we wanted a plated meal and the Grand Salon doesn't have a working kitchen. It was NO PROBLEM!Our caterer was fabulous, so don't let that stop you, it can be dealt with.
- Despite the historic space, they were still flexible with decor and hanging things, offered suggestions, solutions dealing with it.
-The cellars/grounds were open for us to take photos as requested.
The only negative thing about this venue, in our minds, (and it's out of Brotherhood's control) is the lack of accommodation for that many guests nearby. We essentially had a destination wedding, I'm from upstate about 2 hours away and my husband is from Ireland. So we used Newburgh as a hotel base so our guests had different price ranges to choose from. We were happy with the end result, although everyone was rather scattered. Luckily everyone got to our after party or their hotels safe and sound. And it was easy enough to get to from NYC (where most guests flew into) via a gorgeous train ride or scenic drive.
Overall, we are BEYOND PLEASED to have had our special day and so many fond memories made within this amazing space’s walls.

Brotherhood Winery Wedding 10/21/22
Myself and my partner were looking for a place that we could have our ceremony and reception. We knew that we wanted to have a relaxed atmosphere and be outdoors in the Fall. What a wonderful decision it was to have our wedding at the Brotherhood Winery. From the start, Donny was incredibly easy to work with. He was inclusive, friendly, and answered all of our questions related to our big day. We had our ceremony by the arch on grounds, cocktail hour on the patio, and the reception inside the hall. Donny was great, answering any questions we had and connected us with many highly recommended vendors that frequently have events at Brotherhood. We can't say enough great things about how beautiful the event was! Would recommend!!

Our Wedding September 2022
We had our wedding at Brotherhood Winery on September 24th, 2022. The Grand Salon at Brotherhood Winery which is the reception area, is so beautiful! Donny was very responsive the year leading up to our wedding and answered any questions we had. Brotherhood has a rustic warm ambience that photographs absolute beautifully.
We had Incredible Caterers, the caterer on site at Brotherhood, cater our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone raved about how good the food was. It really was the perfect day! We highly recommend Brotherhood Winery for your wedding!

The staff was absolutely amazing to us on our special day. They handled everything and made us feel like it was all under control. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. However there are some restrictions on decorations that I wanted to bring in such as flower petals, candles, and some lighting. However overall the space is gorgeous enough without those things!

We used the grand salon for our daughter's wedding. It is absolutely the most beautiful place to have a wedding. The winery was very accommodating and let us use the lawn for the ceremony, the patio for the cocktail hour complete with a rented tent, and of course the grand ballroom. We were allowed to use it the entire day. We happened to be lucky and the venue was not being rented the day before and they allowed us to set up for the event. We were so grateful for that. It is an expensive fee to rent this space, but well worth the money. I highly recommend it!

We most appreciated their flexibility; we were allowed to use the grounds (except for the cafe when it was still in business) in addition to the event hall itself. I recently just had my wedding at the Brotherhood Winery and it was FANTASTIC!
What a magnificent space! The catering hall style wedding just doesn't fit my husband's and my personality, and the Grand Monarque Hall on premises certainly fit the bill - a perfect blend of elegance and rustic charm.
We had our ceremony out by the old stone arch, the cocktail hour on the patio, and the reception in the Grand Monarque Hall.
I really wanted my wedding to be memorable and not blend together with all the other "wedding factory"- style affairs. Having it at the Brotherhood Winery definitely distinguishes my wedding from the rest.
I worked with Donny Nap from the winery throughout the process. His style is the "hands-off" approach, which is fine by me, but he is also available for advice or help if needed. All you have to do is call him and he is great about getting back to you.
I would've given the venue 5 stars, but it was not easy to find open dates to book. They book up fast and you will probably need more than a year to get the date you want. In addition, it is a pricey place to rent and I would've thought that being that my date was a Friday wedding, it would've been significantly cheaper than a Saturday. I advise brides that you need to factor the cost of the venue rental into the cost of your food per plate to get an accurate idea of how much each guest will cost you. This will probably be a bit shocking, so don't be surprised if most of your guests don't adequately cover their actual cost with their gifts.
Overall, I am VERY happy that I chose the Brotherhood Winery for my wedding venue. It is such a charming and unique place and I truly loved my wedding. Thank you Brotherhood and thank you Donny!

Donny Helped make our wedding beautiful. The grounds were amazing for photos and Donny was extremely attentive all night. Our wedding guests drank all the wine that was provided with the rental agreement but Donny handled it extremely well and we purchased a few more boxes before our guests even realized what was going on. Donny was great about giving his advice when you asked it and was honest with you on what was really needed. My guests LOVED LOVED LOVED the hall and are still talking about how pretty the room was and it was not a hotel ballroom. I would recommend this venue to anybody for various events surrounding your wedding day

This venue was absolutely gorgeous! My fiancee and I fell in love with the whole property about a year ago and locked it down immediately! The ceremony was on the lawn and the weather was perfect! Afterwards we moved to the Grand Monarque Patio for happy hour, and inside to the Hall for the reception. We are still having guests tell us how much they enjoyed themselves, it was perfect! It's an added bonus that Brotherhood throws in 1 bottle for every 2 in attendance with the price of the venue. One con with the whole experience would be Brotherhood's lack of flexibility for non-preferred vendors. It would've went smoother if they were a little more open to outside vendors, but I understand their concern for the safety of this historic site. Plan on booking this popular venue at least a year in advance, and be sure to plan hotels far in advance as well - lots of nearby colleges and fall weddings mean football games!

The winery was a beautiful location for our wedding reception. All the guests said how unique and beautiful the venue was and they hadn't seen a place like it! The cocktail hour was great outside, luckily the weather was perfect. We were able to get into the wine cellar for photos during the reception and they turned out amazing! I didn't have much interaction with Donny, a few phone calls/emails to pay bills or if I had simple questions but he was always quick to respond and offered to help in any way he could. We ended up giving out personalized wine bottles from Brotherhood as our wedding favor and it was so easy! They just designed the label and they were all there on the day and we used those as our escort cards. I think the venue is beautiful but you are just paying to rent the space and tables/chairs so that's why I gave only 2 stars for the value. But if you can afford it, do it! The only other negative thing I would say is that my wedding guests were dancing all night and it was pretty hot in the room. Seemed like the AC wasn't up enough, we were all pretty sweaty!

The Brotherhood Winery is one of the most beautiful, unique, and magical locations to get married at. It is truly a great value because of what comes included in the site fee, but as they become more popular and "in-demand" I fear they won't maintain the best value. I hope I'm wrong, because it would be a shame for this location to become "priced out" for local residents. Donny can be a gem and once you book he is super helpful, professional, charming, and quick to respond. I think we got off to a rough start during the actual booking process, but our relationship course corrected quickly post contract signature. And night of, he truly was one of my favorite people in attendance. The rating reflects the lack of flexibility due to the historic location. No open flame, and there is limited flexibility with what you can bring in, no space to get ready at, and the winery is open for normal business hours the day of meaning people will be around the site while you're trying to take pictures. However, don't let this sway you. There's not really much you need to add to the property because it is so beautiful, so I wouldn't worry too much. BOOK EARLY if you want this spot. We were booking 18-months in advance and still didn't get the date we wanted, though it all worked out for the best and the weather was a perfect fall day in November. Also there's not really a weather "plan B" other than tents so keep that in mind if you're getting married onsite (this also affects the "Flexibility" rating). The day was truly perfect though and I am so unbelievably thrilled we chose this location, and cannot thank Donny and his team enough for everything.

Let me start off by saying that I got married at Brotherhood Winery last year and LOVED it. The venue is spectacular, beautiful and my guests really loved the ambiance. However, working with Donny, the only person in charge of events there, made my experience awful! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, get everything in writing. Donny promised us many things and as we got closer to the date of the wedding, he went back on his word and said he never promised us those things, complete LIE. He is completely unfriendly, has no professionalism and is not someone I would want running my events department. Right after our ceremony, we were in the tasting room and Donny walked past and didn't even say congratulations, not a word, how rude?! He doesn't know how to interact with clients and he acted like he was doing us a favor, hello, we're paying you thousands of dollars, you can AT LEAST be polite and considerate.
I would highly suggest that Brotherhood rethinks their event department, the venue is great and I loved every second of our wedding but Donny was a huge stress factor during our planning process.
