Backyard wedding
Brooksley was absolutely amazing, so professional and punctual. Not only did she deliver beautifully, but she also added two extra songs for the pre-ceremony, which was such a thoughtful touch. We didn’t have a coordinator on our wedding, but Brooksley stepped up and gave us helpful tips throughout. She was truly on top of everything. We’re so thankful I found her here. Thank you so much, Brooksley! You were a big part of making the day so special. -

We hired Brooksley to play at our 25th wedding vow renewal, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Her library of songs is extensive, and she helped us pick the perfect pieces that captured the emotion and joy of the day. When she began to play, it was pure magic. What can I say about Brooksley!! She is so amazing to work with and has been nothing but great to begin with. I appreciate all of her suggestions and helping me putting a playlist together for our ceremony. Planning a wedding is already hard enough, but Brooksley was such a delight to work with. I would recommend her to anyone. She has a big playlist and even helped looked up a song for us as my now husband and I met at an Above & Beyond concert. Ahh, let me just tell you how beautiful it was. I recently received some raw clips from our wedding and hearing her play is just giving me chills again. She definitely help set the mood and I heard there was a lot of teary eyes during our ceremony. I cannot thank you enough Brooksley!! -

Brooksley was, without exaggeration, the sweetest and most perfect choice we possibly could have made for our wedding. Along with being extremely talented, she was patient and kind throughout the process of selecting songs and background tracks and went well out of her way to make sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. My only regret is that our wedding was an absolute whirlwind and everything went by so fast that I was unable to enjoy her full performance! Our guests all said she was amazing, and they were spot-on in that assessment! Walking down the aisle to her music was magical, and if we could choose our musician again, we’d choose Brooksley in a heartbeat! Highly recommend! Thank you, Brooksley, for being the best!

Everything about my experience working with Brooksley was top notch. From the first email exchange, I knew I was in good hands. She is super organized and responsive. I was looking for a violinist for our wedding ceremony and was excited to work directly with the musician herself. She was so open to all our various song selections and she made ALL of our song choices work. She has her own wireless speaker system so she can set up and play anywhere! Not only is she a talented musician, but as an overwhelmed bride on the day of, I really appreciated her calm, kind and professional demeanor. Brooksley went out of her way (Above and beyond) to make sure the little ceremony details got taken care of. Having her play our ceremony elevated the entire mood and ambiance to a romantic and beautiful affair! Thank you so much Brooksley!! -

Wow! Brooksley is simply phenomenal. She has such an incredible and diverse range of music, from hip hop to adult contemporary - and she plays it all on her violin so seamlessly. Prior to the wedding, I sent her a specific playlist of a wide range of music for the ceremony, pre-ceremony and recessional, all of which she played beautifully and flawlessly. Brooksley was so friendly and accommodating in our email communication that when I finally met her in person, I felt as though I already knew her! She is a joy to work with and I would recommend her without question to anyone looking for a talented violinist for their special occasion. Brooksley elevated our wedding to another level and we are forever grateful. Thank you, Brooksley! -

Brooksley was such a helpful and great vendor to work with! She was so flexible with my song changes and helped me pick the perfect precessional song. I would recommend her to any couple that wants beautiful music without a $3,000 price tag. Brooksley was so professional and helpful during the whole process. She gave great recommendations and was very flexible with my song changes. At the Santa Barbara courthouse you can’t have any amplified music so this was the perfect option for us. -

Breathtaking performance
Several days after my wedding and several guests are still talking about Brooksley. She played the classical music alone or with background music and vocals and also contemporary upbeat music. I was blown away! She can do it all! Her flexibility put me at ease and I was so grateful. We discussed several choices and styles of music. She learned new songs she has never heard of just for my day. I felt like she went above an beyond for the wedding. She is professional, talented, flexible and overall phenomenal in what she does. I will be booking Brooksley Bishop again!! -

She provided us with request that she had never done like The Game of Thrones theme song! All of our guests were amazed at her skills. She made the day so much more special.
