Most beautiful venue on the front range! Madison and the whole staff are incredibly professional and truly care about quality of service and product. I can’t believe how smoothly our wedding went. If you’re looking for beauty and a seamless event, meet with the staff here and you will not be disappointed!

Our late August wedding was filled with summer issues: heat, humidity and potential rain! Brookside Gardens was gorgeous, with so many things blooming. Staff helped negotiate a storm that held off until our outdoor cocktail hour finished and then the skies broke loose! Staff were flexible and kind. We especially appreciated how they facilitated a busy schedule and clean-up. Brookside Gardens is an exceptionally beautiful and reasonable venue with competent and helpful staff!

Brookside Gardens is an excellent choice for a garden-themed wedding! My husband and I hosted our wedding reception there last summer and could not have been happier with our choice. The venue itself is stunning- outdoors there are lots of flowers, trees, etc. and it is all very well maintained. The indoor space had lots of beautiful natural light during the first part of our event, and as the sun went down, the chandeliers and string lights created a very romantic and dreamy vibe! Overall, the area is very spacious. It provides a fantastic indoor-outdoor feel and good flow for guests to dance, socialize, play games, etc. In addition to providing a gorgeous atmosphere, the staff was incredible. Ashley guided us through our entire planning process and was also our venue coordinator day of. She was helpful, responsive, attentive to our needs, and honestly just a kind and down to earth person who provided a supportive and calming presence throughout the entire experience. We also went with their in-house catering option through Origins Catering and were very pleased with the quality of food and service! They have a huge menu selection, and our dinner choices were all delicious. There are so many more positive things I could say about our experience at Brookside Gardens. Everything met and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a venue in the area!

Ashley of Brookside Gardens is the BEST! She is beautifully friendly, always calm, extremely organized, approachable, and great at what she does - which is take care of everything. Our wedding went perfect because of her! The venue was absolutely gorgeous! Flowers bloomed, hanging vines everywhere! We married on August 18, 2022 - it was hot, but not overwhelming so. The outdoor ceremony was perfection. I’m so happy that we found the most beautiful wedding venue on the front range! We got so much awesome feedback from guest loving the venue both indoors and especially the outdoor areas.

Ashley was so easy to work with and really made our dream wedding come true. We had such an amazing, perfect day.

We would highly recommend Brookside Gardens and Event Center as well as Tiffany the owner/event coordinator. She came through for us at the last minute after our original venue cancelled on us 11 days before the event. The venue is gorgeous and the staff very friendly. Tiffany helped make our day so much less stressful and made sure everything ran so smoothly. With a pandemic in place they made sure that all of the proper protocols were followed and made us and our guests feel safe to celebrate. Our photos turned out amazing, with plenty of great photography locations on-site. The in-house catering was amazing, our guests commented that the Mac and cheese was the best they ever had. They worked with our food needs, including allergies, and even made an off menu item for us. If you are looking for a venue I would highly recommend checking them out.

My husband and I want to let the staff at Brookside Gardens Event Center know that they did an excellent job with the wedding of our son and his fiancé. We appreciated the staff's hard work and professionalism exhibited throughout the day. Thanks to all of you, their wedding went smoothly and beautifully - a truly lovely event!

Brookside Gardens was a beautiful place for my wedding. Both me and my husband agree that it was perfect. Linda, our coordinator, was very accommodating and the entire ceremony went without a hitch. Our guests raved about how beautiful it was and we were able to get away with less decorations because of it! The honeymoon suit was fantastic and clean. It was so nice to sleep in, have breakfast delivered, and then go for a walk around the venue before leaving. My only caution/suggestion: there needs to be a better system to ensure the correct bags get to the honeymoon suite!

What a beautiful venue! The staff was so wonderful to work with and made sure everything was done accordingly. Definitely recommend as a venue, especially during the summer months!

Everyone at Brookside was so friendly and willing to make our dreams of our big day come to life. It was a pleasure to work with them. We loved Brookside Gardens!! The venue is so beautiful, we fell in love instantly! The venue is great to have both the ceremony and reception so you do not have to travel around. Our day of coordinator, Marcy, was awesome!!! She completely took care of us so I did not have to think about the timeline or where I needed to be. My wedding day was absolutely perfect! I loved this venue and our wedding coordinator, Linda, was so extremely helpful and made our day so stress free!

Brookside Gardens is a beautiful and practical location for a wedding. We found out about this venue in a wedding magazine and instantly fell in love. The gorgeous photos you see really do not do the real thing justice. Their outdoor gardens and pergola create the perfect setting for the ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour. The indoor reception area is also gorgeous and works well for the post-ceremony celebration.
The staff at the venue are very accommodating and responsive. We were able to walk through the site a number of times before the wedding to show family and get measurements for decorations. The location also has a variety of great photo backdrop options for your photographer to take advantage of. Brookside Gardens is the perfect place for any event and a beautiful backdrop for a wedding!

The staff at Brookside Gardens was wonderful. They were so flexible when we weren't sure if we would get to hold the wedding outdoors because of rain. They quickly dried chairs and cleared the sidewalks. The indoor area where guests waited and later we held the reception, were beautiful. The gardens are so pretty this time of year! Brookside Gardens was a dream come true wedding venue! Not only was it unbelievably gorgeous with so much character, but the people working there were amazing. The staff made sure to reassure us that everything was going smoothly the day of, provided all beauty services and were frequent with the mimosas and beer for our bridal party. If you have not seen this venue, it is a must when looking around the northern colorado area! We had so many guests and vendors compliment us on this choice. Our photographers were in heaven!

This event center is absolutely gorgeous. The day of my daughters wedding it had been pouring rain and then is just stopped about a half an hour before the wedding. They squeegied off the entire outdoor arena and the deck and had everything set up before the wedding took place. They were fantastic!

Brookside really made my dream wedding come to life. I am so appreciative of everything they did.

This is a beautiful place for your wedding. Staff and coordinator were professional, supportive and extremely competent. My daughter's wedding was early evening so the romantic ambiance only increased as the evening went on. The ceremony followed by cocktails was outside in the garden area and then everyone moved indoors for the reception and dancing. Guests moved comfortably throughout the beautiful grounds.There is also an Aveda spa in the building making it very appealing. For the value, for the beauty, for the convenience, Brookside Gardens was wonderfully perfect!

The venue was simply amazing. Everything went according to plan and the venues wedding coordinator was above what we expected. We were so happy we chose this venue for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the way we were treated and the way the venue looked the day of the wedding

the venue was amazing the coordinator they contracted to work with me was absolutely amazing (Little Bird Celebrations). Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. Not to mention it was beautiful!

This venue is gorgeous! We had our ceremony outside and the flowers and greenery gave us the most beautiful backdrop. The reception was held inside the main event center. It is big, well kept, and beautiful. There is a food dance floor and build in bar that can be used. The best part is this venue also has the Aveda salon attached. I was able to get my nails, hair and makeup all done her at the location which made the whole day very easy and stress free. We got married on a Monday which really cut down the cost of the venue, and actually turned out to be a great night for a wedding. In addition to saving money by having the wedding on a Monday we also got the bridal sweet for the whole day, unlike weekend dates which only have it to use for a few hours. Great staff, that really take time to get to know you and invest in your special day. I would highly recommend this venue!

We wanted an outdoor ceremony in a garden setting with an indoor reception. Brookside fit that perfectly. Our day of coordinator, Linda O'Hare, was excellent and made sure everything went as planned. Our guests made several comments about how beautiful our venue was! They were also very affordable. I would definitely recommend them for weddings or other events.

We also used the salon services the day of the wedding. Everyone was very pleased with the results! As someone who doesn't own makeup and who rarely does anything to my hair, it was very important to me that I felt comfortable with the products used on me. Brookside only uses Aveda products and I was pleasantly surprised at my trial to find I didn't feel the need to wash my face immediately like I have when using other products. I worked with Susan, and she did a great job listening to what I wanted. I was very happy with how I looked!

We got married here in early August and couldn't be more happy with the way things turned out. This venue is just stunning. From the brook to the flowers this place has it all. From the first time I toured I knew it was the perfect place for us. We booked pretty far in advance to ensure we got the time of the year we wanted. I would suggest booking later in the season so that you are able to enjoy all the beautiful flowers on the property.

Brookside Gardens was an absolutely beautiful venue! Plenty of parking, a bridal suite and groom suite with a staircase for a grand entry into the gardens, a classy yet modern atmosphere, very open and beautiful.

After having my other ceremony location fall through two weeks before my wedding, everyone at Brookside did everything to help me have the perfect wedding. The outdoor ceremony site is beautiful - even in November when all the flowers are gone. Starting with the tour, Brecken was very helpful in answering any and all questions. The place was nothing but AMAZING! I really love the new cottage suite for the bride and groom for the night of the ceremony. They also have an attached aveda spa that makes it very convenient. I plan on spending the whole day at the spa the day before my wedding! :) I would highly recommend having your wedding here!

Absolutely beautiful venue! The flowers make for perfect pictures and a gorgeous wedding! The reception area was very open and allowed for an awesome dance floor under a chandelier (so magical)!

Brecken was our coordinator and was outstanding to work with! She put me at ease as I went through the planning process, and made our day so perfect. She's so wonderful!

We were married there in April, so we knew that it would be a little early for them to have all the flowers out, but it was still so beautiful! It actually ended up raining/snowing all day, so we were married in front of the fireplace. Still, the grounds provided a stunning background for us, and it went off perfectly!

Beautiful venue, beautiful rooms to get ready in, and beautiful cottage for the bride and groom that night.
It was a bit pricey, but they really do provide SO much and help with your day coming together smoothly!
The event coordinator is a HUGE help in making decisions and organizing the day.

My guests can't stop talking about how beautiful this venue was for my June wedding! It's large enough to seamlessly hold a beautiful outdoor ceremony, cocktails and reception for even a very large group. Not only was the venue perfectly kept and gorgeous, the staff was so helpful and flexible with us. They helped make our day perfect!

Gorgeous venue! You basically don't have to do any decorations outside because the flowers speak for themselves. I love that they provide a wedding coordinator and she was amazing. They have also added linens and alcohol to their list of offerings, which would have been helpful for our wedding and will be helpful for future weddings. I gave them a 3.5 for flexible because they have to work around all the other weddings to coordinate the rehearsal. Also, I found it frustrating that all the decorations couldn't be put up on Friday night. I don't know the reason behind that, but I think most venues have that rule. They let us put some up though.

Brookside is the prettiest venue! We got so many comments on the beauty of it. The staff did a great job in helping everything run smoothly and were constantly adjusting as the day continued. We greatly enjoyed having our wedding here.

Brookeside Gardens was the perfect place for our wedding, from the moment I arrived the first day to tour the grounds(mid winter) I knew that this was going to be the most magical place for us to say our vows and to enjoy our family and friends. The staff is exceptional at meeting every single one of your needs, they are on top of every detail. Amanda was our day of wedding coordinator and she was on top of everything! I didn't have to worry if things were going to be on time or if everything was the way I wanted it, the bridal suite was amazing and the perfect size for my 5 bridesmaids and 2 flower girls to get ready and to enjoy each other company. Amanda made sure I was relaxed and even delivered a mimosa to the suite just for me after I had started to freak out about the timeline and the hiccups that came that day. She saw to every detail and made sure that the day went exactly how I wanted it to go. She was on top of timing for everything and kept my vendors in line completely. This venue is gorgeous and top notch for all your wedding or event needs, they truly go above and beyond! Even the owner was there for one of our walkthroughs to make sure everything went as planned. Thank you Brookeside Gardens for an amazing day!!! P.S. The honeymoon cottage on site was PERFECT!

We were looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony site with a reception area on site and Brookside Gardens did not disappoint. Our wedding truly was a fairy-tale! We were so pleased with our wedding coordinator at the venue as well as superb bar and makeup/hair services.

People went on and on and on about how gorgeous Brookside Gardens are. Beyond the flowers and the archway and the water feature are more subtle elements that make Brookside Gardens amazing. The built-in sound system and wireless mic for the ceremony are touches that people may overlook when booking a venue, but they make a HUGE difference. Brookside's system made it so our guests heard every word of our ceremony perfectly. Also, the bride and groom's prep rooms are gigantic with lots of mirrors. They're also air-conditioned. Some other venues we looked at had us getting ready in a glorified restroom. I also like how they only do one ceremony at a time. This helped us feel very special, like we had our own private wedding getaway.

Most of our friends and family are from Denver, and no one minded the drive once they saw the beauty of the site. The directions from Mapquest led many of our guests astray, however. Very odd.

We didn't like they're ugly, blue reception chairs so we substituted the white ceremony chair in their place. The additional cost of $300 seemed a bit pricey, but the white chairs really changed the whole look for our reception for the better!

The people from Brookside that we worked with (Linda and Ashley) were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. We just absolutely loved this hidden gem in Berthoud. The new, light, welcoming feel was just the perfect place to begin our life together.

This venue is amazing - the grounds and building are absolutely beautiful. A great venue for amazing pictures and a great amount of space for a midsize wedding (170). The venue staff were great and made the day perfect. They also have an Aveda spa so you can get your hair and makeup done the day of right there without having to drive all over. I would definitely recommend!

My husband An I fell in love with this venue the second we first saw it! Everything was absolutely perfect Linda o hare our wedding coordinator was amazing all of the guests even mentioned how good she had did for our wedding day! The owner of the venue is very nice An willing to work with options for you. We didn't have one complaint, also the salon does great hair! I would recomend Mandy:)

Picking a venue is a huge decision. My family and I chose Brookside for the reception location for our wedding for the following reasons:
- close proximity to our families and friends home in Berthoud and ceremony site
- easy to access from I-25 and 287 and DIA
-could accommodate our guests count
- great backup ceremony location in case of inclement weather
- close and ample parking for guests
- beautiful outdoor space with flowers! huge hanging baskets, huge planters brimming with flowers beautiful grasses, trees, absolutely stunning and well kept
- a lot of flexibility in layout allowed the opportunity to be really creative in the entire layout of tables, chairs, food tables, cake tables, etc. and the staff really honored and executed our vision perfectly.

Overall:
-Working with Katie and Kendall was fun and organized
-Would recommend Brookside to anyone.
-This is not a cookie cutter venue. Be creative and make this space to reflect your own personality and feel. This space has so many options!
-take advantage of discount at spa the months leading up to wedding.

Love the setting and it's perfect because all the rental items like tables, flatware, dishes, glasses, and linens. We wanted all outdoor and availability for ceremony and reception. It provides a full view of the Rocky Mountains which was a must for a Colorado wedding. My only complaint was not receiving the copy of the contract and receipt until several weeks after we booked with them.

The venue was beautiful and our day was flawless! We loved staying in the cottage the night of our wedding and had plenty of space and felt comfortable getting ready in the bridal/groom areas. The venue was willing to accommodate anything that we requested except for the catering. All of the options that were available made our day pretty pricey and the food wasn't anything that exciting. I would love to see the venue add some more caterers to the list that are affordable. Overall our experience was wonderful.

This place has everything which made planning a lot easier and the day-of less stressful. Everything went smoothly and felt perfect. Our coordinator Katie was super helpful to both us and all of the outside vendors.

Brookside Gardens is absolutely a beautiful venue for a wedding both inside and out! We got married in late March, so the flowers were not in bloom yet, but even still it was gorgeous. The day of the wedding went smoothly and the wedding coordinator they assigned to us was very helpful and kept things moving nicely.

The only thing that I had a bit of a problem with was communication. Everyone who works for Brookside is very knowledgeable about wedding/spa services, but when there is not one designated person to direct questions to it can get a bit confusing. I sent updates to what was discussed from our 30 day walkthrough, but found out after the reception that they had not noted the updates and had to add a table last minute. There was also no mention that I had done a make-up trial run and was almost overcharged the day of the wedding because of it.

I would suggest to Brookside to have a staff member or two that handles everything related to weddings and have them at the walkthrough. I think it would make for a more streamlined planning process.

Overall, it was a good experience...beautiful setting, quality make-up service, and nice staff.

The location is open and beautiful! The staff is very laid back so depending on what type of bride you are its a good or a bad characteristic. While they go with the flow, then do know what they are doing and have a fantastic spa attached to the location.

It’s was a beautiful venue and we had so much fun!

Daughter had pretty wedding but it was overpriced for a garden. Their required caterers were way overpriced. Payed $4,500 for cold fajitas for 125 people. If you want a garden wedding, you would be better off in a park. I also recommend venues where you don't have to use one of their caterers. You will save thousands. Although the wedding was nice and service was good, I think we could have got the same type of wedding for half the price elsewhere.

Brookside Gardens is an ABSOLUTELY beautiful venue for a wedding! My husband and I LOVED the arch way, ceremony space, reception space, flowers and creek that runs through it! Our special day was gorgeous and we loved the ambiance the property created for our guests.

Our one complaint is the service at Brookside. Included in our contract is a wedding planner that you get to work with 6 weeks out from your wedding date. The planner that Brookside provided us contacted me 4 weeks out and then refused to let me do my rehearsal two days before my wedding because she was going to be on vacation until the day before my wedding! I explained to her that my bridal shower was to be held the day before our wedding due to the large number of out of town guests and that the rehearsal time that was available that day would not work but she would not work with me. She never offered to have another person at Brookside conduct the rehearsal or work with me on different times, regardless of my timeline. After she created so much stress for myself, my husband and my parents, I decided to hire an outside planner and I'm VERY thankful I did! Additionally, when we did our walk through with the Brookside planner, she was very curt with myself, my florist, my husband and my mom. She made very unprofessional remarks regarding our new wedding planner and made me feel very uncomfortable. Had I known that she was going to create such stress for myself and my family I would have opted to get my own planner much sooner!

I would recommend Brookside as a venue due to the beauty of the property but be prepared to not rely on the wedding planner that is promised.

We loved the venue and the way our big day went. Its so nice to have ceremony and reception in one place. However, the pitch you get when touring was better than the actual service. Our person was okay but she seemed in a rush and not that into her job. Biggest complaint was at the end of the reception they flip on the lights, get people out, and tear down in a hurry . Would be nice if I had a few minutes to say bye and give people centerpieces etc. We had a small wedding so there was really no rush since we built in an hour for clean up. They just seemed more concerned about their own wants instead of the customer's.

The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL! It fit my theme perfectly, but really that's where the glam ended for me. The price was reasonable when I booked it, but as I see the price go up in the upcoming year there is no way I could justify booking it later on. There is quite a bit included in the fee, but it all disappears quickly. They say a wedding supervisor is included, but I highly suggest a planner or at least make sure your MOH or someone else has everything handled. Mine was nowhere to be found and did the bare minimum at the rehearsal and coming up with the timeline, which was really just whatever the caterer and I said but repeated. Luckily, my MOH and bridesmaids took on a lot of responsibility the day of, but overall it was a lot of miscommunication that could of been easily fixed if the planner had actually discussed things with me. My bridal party and immediate family came in early to set up the centerpieces and everything out on the tables for me.
The staff... the wonderful ladies that did my hair and make up are the only ones spared, but the gossip and disrespect from the others is uncanny! I was running late for my appointments, by 20 minutes and called to let them know and got the rudest responses back over the phone. Then when I actually got there the person on the phone was very easy to distinguish because she still had an attitude to my face, to a few of my bridesmaids! Then I find out later that her and other staff were talking about me in the salon within earshot of my mother getting her make up done after getting off the phone with me (they clearly didn't know she was there) and the lady doing my mom's make up had to tell them that she was there and they could hear them.

Overall:
The venue is beautiful.
The salon is a salon.
Extremely bad staff experience.
The cottage is nice, but simple (TV didn't work), breakfast was from panera bread, and good champagne.
Go ahead and get a planner anyway.

I got married this summer at Brookside Gardens but had I received full disclosure from them before signing the contract I would've found a different venue. You’re told the price includes tables, chairs and linens but they don't tell you that their staff won’t set any of it up, and you aren’t allowed to do it yourself. You have to pay your caterer’s staff to be at your wedding starting 2 hours before, and staying to the bitter end because Brookside REQUIRES that the caterer does setup and tear down and the caterer must be on their “preferred” list. Basically you’re paying $6000 for the privilege of being on their property. The price includes a planner… well at least someone who will send you an email a few weeks before the wedding so you can tell her how you want the tables arranged, but she doesn’t help you plan anything. The photos you see on their website were from a few years ago when apparently they spent a little $$ to provide gorgeous flower baskets. That is not what you’ll get; when I showed up they were tiny little baskets that might have come from Lowes. Don’t get me wrong, I had a wonderful wedding but it’s because on the big day I knew there was nothing I could do about all of Brookside’s shortcomings and just made the best of it. Maybe this review will help other brides so they can be more informed than I was or at least set their expectations lower for this venue. I am now in a battle over our bar bill because they are claiming I owe a $200 bar setup fee, which was not in the contract. Their response when I proved to them it wasn’t in the contract we signed was,
It looks like you did receive our old Rules and Policies. This is our first year with a liquor license and we are still trying to figure out the logistics of it all. However, it does state in your signed contract, “Brookside Gardens reserves the right to change and/or update rules and policies at any time without notice.”
Apparently a contract means nothing to them.
Buyer Beware!

The manager Sinai, ruined our day. She was pushy, rude, condescending and doing right Nasty! She talked badly about the brides mother to the wedding party, yelled at our guest and cut our wedding short, even know we had a contract for a certain time and paid for it! The owner Larry was just as rude and doesn’t seem to care about their customers.

Didn’t even know the bride and grooms soon to be last name, cut the wedding party off at 8:45pm. Bother the bride and groom about random problems non stop... their hostess was less than average. Pretty much a mess.... unbelievable for the price...

Very disappointed in the level of professionalism of this venue. Thank goodness for Jake my caterer, he was the most helpful and attentive. I will never refer this venue to any bride.
