I worked mainly with Adam and then had his assistant Rick as well. From the moment we did our engagement pictures with them we knew they were who we wanted. Great skills at capturing the moment and getting to know what we wanted as a couple. We went with their package that included having 2 photographers and we couldn't be more thrilled. They went above and beyond and even stayed a little longer at the reception to make sure we had all of the pictures that we wanted.

Adam Brooks shot our wedding and was fantastic!!! we used the 2 photographer package- one with pro lighting and the other used natural light. all of the photos are amazing, and the prices were so competitive. Adam was very easy to work with, hes very fast with his equipment and has a great eye- he created some awesome shots using a setting we didnt realize would look good. his speed and eye made picture taking more fun and spontaneous, not holding awkward poses. we 100% enthusiastically recommend him!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER PLEASE!!!!!
Letting my wife be in charge of hiring the photographer I completely trusted her and this company to take care of this special day. Everything looked to be normal until the days after the wedding. Such a horrible experience. Sad to say my wife's mother passed away unexceptionally after the wedding and had to push the viewing of the pictures a month because my wife was not ready to see pictures of her mother yet. After several phone calls to Adam, we finally were able to make an appointment to see how our pictures looked. When we arrived I was told some (1500) of our pictures were not available because another employee had their hard drive. The ones they had were the ones they chose to put in our wedding book. I did not like the pictures they chose and told them I wanted the other pictures. Adam told me it would be an additional $500 to get those pictures we already paid for. I was livid. Adam told me he would work something out and reschedule for us to meet again with all the pictures. The day we were supposed to meet, Adam calls me and says he can't make it because he forgot the hard drive with the pictures. Adam promised me he would have them the next day. The next day I called the "personal number" he gave me and no answer. I left several messages over the several days and nothing. Called the business number and they canceled their call service. I went online and the only way to contact them is by e-mail. I emailed several times and no response. This is a tragedy for our whole family because not only was it for our wedding with 550 family members and friends, but those pictures were the last pictures taken of my mother-in-law. Adam should be ashamed of himself for doing this to people who hire them to capture one of the best moments in life.

had my wedding and they were great there. Our conversation with them in the consult seemed more on trying to get us to buy products from them instead of on what we wanted. They don't seemed very well organized in the office when I get a call about someone elses wedding details. I recieved an email the day after my wedding and saying I would get a link for my pictures 4-6 weeks after my wedding. I called to check in.... No rsponse. It has been 3 weeks and I did receive the website for my pictures but that is after calling 3 times and not receiving a single call back. I still have not receicived a phone call or my disc with pictures and it has been 2 months and I am getting very upset. I would like to start making my photo albums and everything but I would like my black and white photos and sepia ones. They can take the time to blog up someone elses wedding on the same day as mine but not get in contact with a customer. Sorry mine wasn't as fancy as hers but I deserve a little a little respect and a call back instead of being ignored.

Has there been any follow up on this legal case? Years later & I still have no contact or have no idea what to do. Any assistance would be appreciated? Are people receiving pictures from their wedding days? Or is it a lost cause :(

We used a photo booth for 4 hours during my wedding reception on October 11th 2014.

The gentleman who manned the booth was not Adam the owner, it was someone that several of my guests stated was surprisingly unfamiliar with the equipment and also did not bring costumes, had poor lighting, broke down the booth too early, and the real issue was that he did not print any photos for my guests (part of what we pre-paid for was 100 prints).

More importantly we have not been able to contact anyone in the business since the reception. Two of the three emails bounce back, and both the office and the cell phone of Adam simply ring and ring and then it states the messages are full, so I am unable to leave a message.

This has been going on for a few weeks. I became concerned that we may never hear from him or his business. We had never spoken to him directly, only to the employee Rick, whose email and phone do not work or are disconnected now.

We are feeling at our end in the communication issue with his company. A Yelp reviewer returned my message also and stated that he has been waiting for 14 months and has complaints filed, and still no answer from this business. Another Yelp reviewer said he was in the middle of filing a lawsuit against this company (see all the reviews here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/brooks-photo-las-vegas)

We have filed a complaint with the BBB. We also are asking Paypal to help us refund our money, since this company did not provide us with any photos.

This is all our contact info for this company:

    1) Adam Brooks (Studio Owner), Phone: 760.233.5722, Cell: 619-384-7291 (message machine full for both numbers) info@brooksphotopro.com (no response. 5 emails sent)

    2) Employee Derek Bennett, dbennett@brooksphotopro.com (bounceback)

    3) Employee Rick Lammert, rlammert@brooksphotopro.com (bounceback)

    4) Their Yelp page: http://www.yelp.com/biz/brooks-photo-las-vegas

    5) Their website: http://www.brooksphotopro.com

I am as concerned, horrified and frustrated as the other reviewers on this site. I am so so upset that I got married almost 2 months ago and still no pictures. I have been waiting patiently. I have Adams personal cell number that I have gotten responses from as of Oct 28th. Claiming to send me photos that night. I have yet to receive a single email, call or text back since that day. I feel scammed!
I went on their website today to find this notice posted:
    To Our Customers;
We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication and responses in the most recent weeks. This letter is to inform you of matters that are currently being resolved and give you more of an update of the status of the company.
Currently the owner has stepped down from running the business due to personal reasons and is no longer involved in the daily operation of the company. We have discussed with him his responsibilities to shoot any weddings that are booked and he has committed to those and will be present at those weddings. Upcoming weddings are being notified individually of their status in order to relieve any stress this may have caused.
Projects currently in the work queue are being organized and prepared for release. Our goal is to place a priority on releasing any digital images to customers that are currently waiting and to have all of those images released by months end. A website page has been developed in which you will be able to check the current status of your images. The website link for the status is www.brooksphotopro.com/photostatus or you may access this directly from our home page. This site will be viewable by Monday November 17, 2014. We ask that you please check the status of your images here and refrain from asking via email so we maybe able to focus our efforts on getting the projects released opposed to working emails. "
As of right now I have emailed that email and am hoping to be included on the status of when my photos will be involved.

Ridiculous. My wedding was 4 months ago and not only have I not received my photos, videos, albums, or prints as promised, I can't even get a hold of anyone that works there. They were paid in full and I have no idea what to do. The staff I can get a hold of no longer work there and say I am not the only one to be calling for their pictures. I don't believe it to be a scam, I believe it to be horribly mismanaged and irresponsibly directed.
When they failed to show up for my Rehearsal Dinner-- that should have been my first clue. No one showed, as scheduled, and they were completely unreachable. I received an apologetic email around 11pm... waaaayyyy after the end of the dinner.
And my pictures weren't great (they are viewable on a website but cannot be printed or saved). Closed eyes, not centered, tops cut off, only a fraction of the guests made it into a photo, glare in many, inattention to detail (our wedding rings have roman numerals and all the close up shots had them upside down-- these are small things that can be ignored but when you add it all up...) We had a few great shots of us and passable ones of the family so I guess we would have that at least. I was willing to get over the lack of great photos but now I can't even get the few I really liked! I am heartbroken, disappointed, and frustrated.

HORRIBLE! Not worth it. In the four hours they were there, they only took about 50 pictures because the equipment was broken and the attendant did not know what he was doing. Was supposed to give a photo to guests and keep one but the printer was taking 10 minutes to print out a photo. The owner, Adam Brooks and all of his employees have now disappeared.

Adam is being investigated for grand theft and fraud. DO NOT book with him. His business apparently closed in October 2014, and he still has several couples he shot that he never returned photos/videos too. We've contacted him about a refund and we've heard nothing.

    DO NOT USE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER!
What a horrible experience dealing with Adam at Brooks Photography. It has been 2 months since our wedding and yet to receive a call or email response regarding our pictures. I have visit the studio/office but no one there looked vacant. Talked with other tenants in the office building which they indicated there are others coming by for the same reason. I feel like I have been scammed by this so called professional. His services were paid in advance and we have nothing to reflect back on our day. Adam has left us no other recourse then to file legal actions against him. How sad and unprofessional. Look at his reviews on Yelp under Brook Photo (Las Vegas, NV), I'm not alone.

I am having the same issues as the customers below. 2 months ago we had the wedding of our dreams and now these guys have disappeared. The two photographers who covered our wedding were wonderful and professional but now I have no product which I paid for already. Will pursue legal action and I invite anyone on this site to connect with me and work together to stop this person from continuing to do business this way. I would be interested in exposing this behavior to the news; let's make this as public as possible. At this point I would give anything just for real digital copies of my photos.

This "photographer" has been scamming people in San Diego, CA for the past few months, at least. He has worked (or hired others to work under his company) several weddings and not delivered photos (or paid the independent contractors he hired). There are several lawsuits being pursued against his company. He is still, however, going to bridal expos and obtaining more business, stealing peoples' money and precious memories. Check out the Yelp reviews: http://www.yelp.com/biz/brooks-photo-las-vegas

He hired me as an independent contractor (2nd shooter) in August and has been MIA for over a month. His phone numbers have been disconnected and he is not responding to people trying to retrieve their photos and/or money.

This "company" hired me as a second shooter for a wedding in August of this year (before you ask, I sent the photos I took to Adam Brooks, per our contract). As you can guess, I have not gotten paid.

In the weeks following the wedding , I was able to reach Adam a couple of times. Each time he promised to pay me by a certain day, which came and went without his promise being kept. Naturally, I began to get concerned but the fact that he sent, signed and had me sign a contract made me think that there was no way he would skip out on paying me.

Meanwhile, my mother invited my fiance and I to attend a bridal expo and who did we find there? You guessed it.

When I approached him and introduced myself, he didn't seem to have a clue that I was one of the photographers he hired (I had never actually met him in person). After I refreshed his memory I politely, but sternly, demanded to know when payment was going to be made. He gave some excuse about being busy shooting weddings and that he would pay me by a certain day, the following week. After that day came and went, I realized he was never intending on paying me at all.

Having few options, I sent a demand letter to his business address. It has, since, been returned in the mail. Legal action is to follow.

Not only is he not giving couples their photos but he isn't paying the photographers he is hiring to fill in for his absence. It makes me wonder if he is even a photographer, at all, or if he just uses other photographers' photos for his website. What's even more sickening is that he is going to bridal expos and posting deals online to gain more business. The fact that he could look me in the face and lie without hesitating disgusts me.
