I am picky picky, and David surpassed all of my expectations and then some. He was so incredibly responsive and helpful through the planning process - answered all of my (many many) questions and helped in any way he could. The day of he was polite and present, but not in the way at all! The photos are the perfect balance of natural and editorial - I asked David to make my photos look like a magazine cover and he DELIVERED! -

David shot our wedding at The Palms in January and was absolutely amazing. He was so helpful in helping direct us in poses and guiding us in beautiful locations on the venue property. We had the absolute pleasure of working with David from Brilliant Studios for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, he was incredibly detailed and clearly an expert in his craft. We had a meeting before the wedding, and my husband and I walked away feeling confident, calm, and genuinely excited about having him capture our day.
Turks and Caicos is already stunning on its own, but David truly knows how to enhance its natural beauty, especially the lighting and those incredible turquoise waters. His eye for detail is unmatched. He works quickly and efficiently, yet nothing ever felt rushed. He was also amazing at giving us pose ideas and clear direction, which made us feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. He was quick on his feet and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.
We sent him a shot list beforehand to make sure we captured specific moments that were important to us, and I also shared a mood board for additional direction. He executed everything flawlessly while still bringing his own artistic touch.
On top of that, Brilliant Studios has an art gallery in downtown Turks and Caicos featuring his work, which speaks volumes about his talent. I loved his photography so much that I purchased one of his prints and am already planning to buy another.
David was truly a joy to work with, and we are so grateful he was part of our wedding day. We’ll cherish these photos forever. -

We recently received our wedding photos from Brilliant studios and they are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! The entire experience was amazing! Bryony reached out the minute we landed in Turks and Caicos to meet up so she could get to know us and what we were looking for. From the minute we met her, she made us feel extremely comfortable which is exactly what I was looking for in a photographer. We hired Brilliant Studios in December 2018 to shoot our November 2019 wedding. From start to finish, they were an absolute dream to work with. We met David in 2018 when we were scouting Turks & Caicos for our destination wedding. He took complementary engagement photos of us to give us a feel of his style and what it would be like to work with him. We instantly knew he was the photographer for us. Even though we knew we wanted to work with Brilliant, we were still unsure of what services would be best for us. In comes Anita who was so kind and walked us through all of our different options. We felt confident we had chosen services that suited us best. Communication and all aspects of locking them down for our dates was easy breezy.
Flash forward to November 2019 - we met with David when we got to the island to go over the ins & outs of our wedding day. He went over what to expect and was able to put our minds at ease. At the eleventh hour we even asked if he could photograph a portion of our rehearsal dinner. Thankfully he was available and was kind enough to agree to do it on such short notice.
We cannot say enough good things about David and Brilliant Studios. Wedding photos can be quite stressful as they will be the permanent reminders of one of the biggest and best days of your life, but working with David, that stress was taken away. He is excellent at giving direction and putting you at ease. If you’re on the fence about a Turks & Caicos photographer, you will not be disappointed with Brilliant Studios. Side note: I highly recommend a “Trash the Dress” shoot after your nuptials.

We did an engagement shoot with Anita in 2018 and were blown away with her talent, flexibility, and the way the photos came out. After talking with her, we decided to take the plunge on a dream and get married in Turks & Caicos, and though it was a bit outside of our originally planned budget, we worked with them to find a wedding package that would best suit our needs and budget. The ENTIRE team is absolutely amazing - they are all incredibly professional and yet flexible and kind. They were SO on point the day of our wedding events and the footage and photos we have seen so far look like a movie! They managed to capture very previous moments and the "feel" of our day...we could not be happier and would recommend them with the highest enthusiasm for any of your photo/video needs! -

Best photographer in Turks & Caicos
When my wife and I got married we wanted great photo shots of our wedding on the beach. We hoped he would capture our vision. David did not disappoint. The photos turned out unbelievable. They were beyond anything we could have ever dreamt. Very organic and natural. Nothing was cheesy at all. Our friends and family were shocked at how beautiful the photos turned out. Working with David was easy. We spoke to him several times before coming down to Turks & Caicos. Every time he was pleasant and answered all of our questions. Days before the wedding he met us at the resort to go over everything in detail which eased our minds. Working with David was awesome! Anita did a wonderful job in capturing our special day. She made our wedding feel unique to us and she was very helpful! She even saved my dress during a small dress emergency! She met with us two days prior to the wedding and we traveled the island looking for great spots to have the ceremony and pictures. We had zero guest so it was easier for us to travel. Brilliant studios was the first vendor we booked for our wedding on a recommendation from a friend. And we are so glad we did!
Anita did our wedding and David did our trash the dress.
Anita captured every moment. We were so absolutely impressed by the elegance each of the photos radiated. When we were initially searching for a photographer Anita’s images struck the right cord with both of us from the very start. From the moment I saw Anita’s pictures I knew she was the one. Her images are everything from elegant, fresh, classic and most importantly, unique! She was very helpful in answering all our questions pre-wedding. I can say that she was an intricate force in every aspect of our wedding. She helped move the ceremony and reception going along on time, which was so important for the day.
We highly recommend adding the trash the dress photo shoot! Actually, you cannot get married in TCI without doing the trash the dress with David!!!
It is a truly unique and fun experience and the photos are amazing! David was so patient to get the right shots. And made the shoot a lot of fun. The pictures are amazing, everyone we showed the photos to are in awe!

We met the day before my wedding and explained to David, we wanted an early evening wedding so we could have some photos at sunset. He picked my future husband and I up at up at our resort and took us to another part of the island that had a long pier overlooking the ocean. The pictures on the pier were stunning. Then we went back to the resort for the beach side wedding and sunset photos. The photos were absolutely gorgeous. Some of the comments from friends and relatives have been :

Eden Sent on 06/19/2017I worked with David from Brilliant Studios for my wedding, and he was truly one of the highlights of my wedding week!! I had the BEST experience, and I feel so lucky that we found him.
We first met about 9 mos before the wedding- and i knew right away that David. Was. AWESOME. He met with us for nearly 2 hours, brought an example album to show us his work, and shared his photography experiences with us. We were blown away... He has an impressive resume (including underwater shoots!) & extensive wedding experience. In addition, he was warm & funny, and we enjoyed getting to know him. We discussed all the details, and booked him the following week.
David was extremely responsive via email during the entire planning phase, which is something I REALLY appreciated. When we arrived on island the week before our wedding, David immediately reached out to greet us, and set a time & date to meet. He went out of his way to make sure we discussed the details of the wedding day in advance, and thankfully he was SUPER flexible.. because I was so busy that week, I ended up meeting with him in a hair salon!! :)
On the day of the wedding, he was extremely prompt and kept us all on schedule, but was so laid back at the same time... everyone was so comfortable around him. He accommodated any photo requests with ease, & made it look effortless. I was a little stressed out at times that day, but David was patient and kept me laughing! Overall, he was everything I had hoped fo: Easy-going, professional, on-time, flexible, and fun to be around.
I am SO excited- we received our wedding photos today, (after only 5 weeks!!) and they are AMAZING. Incredible. I can't believe how much I love them. THANK YOU DAVID!! And thank you Brilliant Studios!! I would recommend them to anyone- I'd give them 10 stars if I could! -

Sabeena Sent on 07/31/2017Honestly and truly (and I am not one for writing reviews), I had an amazing experience with Brilliant Studios and would use them in a heartbeat again in the future. A good friend of mine from NYC had a wedding planner, who recommended Brilliant Studios for his wedding in Turks and Caicos last year (May 2016). Having also being recommended by our hotel (the Regent Palms) in addition to my friend's positive experience with them, I decided to go with them for our wedding this past July. Initially, I considered another photography company because the prices for Brilliant were as expensive as photographers/videographers in NYC and I had a little bit of "sticker shock"; however, with the positive experience of my good friend and after checking out the pictures on their website, I knew they were worth it. And I was right... the quality of their work is phenomenal. We worked with David and Preston, and they met with us when we arrived on the island, and had amazing suggestions on photography throughout the evening. They took great pictures of the guests (including in our Photo Booth!) and even our special wedding artifacts (i.e., rings, wedding dress, shoes, flowers, etc.). I must admit I was a little nervous at first when we did not get Anita assigned to our wedding (who is my buddy had used for his wedding and who has an excellent reputation on the island). However, David and Preston were equally amazing, and combined probably have over 30 yrs of experience. Thus, I could not have been happier with them and Brilliant Studios as my photographers/videographers for my wedding. In addition, because the island is so small, Anita had great suggestions on other vendors to use for our wedding from the DJ to hair/makeup and cakes. So, I feel like I got a little wedding planning services included in our price. It's definitely worth every penny going with Brilliant. Because of them, I can relive the most amazing day of my life in some beautiful pictures and video. -

Wendy Sent on 10/06/2017Brilliant Photography is wonderful EXCEPT if there is a hurricane and you want to get your money back. Our wedding is more than a year away and we decided, because of the recent hurricanes which hit Turks and Caicos, that we would move our wedding to the US. We have given this photographer more than a year's notice. Anita Marcus told me that a hurricane is no reason to cancel a wedding. I think this is our decision to make, not here. There are all kinds of stipulations for getting our money back. We will never know if they made a reasonable effort to rebook the date. I will update this review if we get our money back. Buyer beware. Only book with them if you are sure nothing can happen to impact your plans!!!
