I had worked with Bridesmaid Beautiful for another event and was blown away by how easy they were to work with and how great a job they did on my hair/makeup that it was a no brainer to choose Bridesmaid Beautiful for our wedding day stylists. We did an in salon service appointment and Chrissy and Team did an absolutely amazing job. We had 4 hair and 4 makeup services and we were done in just under 3 hours. All of our hair and makeup turned out absolutely amazing and we absolutely loved working with everyone at bridesmaid beautiful, they were so friendly and easygoing and knew how to make our visions for our hair / makeup into a reality. -

There is not enough I could say about Bridemaid Beautiful!!! They did an absolutely outstanding job with not just me, but every single one of my bridesmaids, mother, mother of the groom, and flower girl! Everyone felt so beautiful after having their hair and makeup done and Bridemaid Beautiful was so flexible in how they could set up in our hotel room. I am forever grateful to have them as a part of our wedding day. EVERYONE felt like royalty!!! -

Julie Sent on 01/31/2017I hired the BridesMaid Beautiful team to style myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding and they did a fantastic job!
I had a tight wedding day schedule and a large bridal party (9 girls, plus the flower girl), so I was really worried about running over on time. I expressed my concern to Olivia and she assured me that her team would be prepared. She was right! The four stylists (Olivia, Briana, Chrissy and Julie), arrived right on time and immediately started making us look pretty. They moved quickly, but they made sure to give every girl a unique look. They were friendly, patient and fun to be around on the morning of my wedding.
Avoiding a salon and having the BridesMaid Beautiful team come to us was one of the smartest wedding decisions I made. Because the morning was stress-free, I was able to relax and focus on enjoying my big day with my bridesmaids. I highly recommend hiring the BridesMaid Beautiful team for your big day! -

After working with a previous artist, whom I cancelled my contract with due to lack of responsiveness, I couldn't have been happier with the service I received with BridesMaid Beautiful. With 9 girls plus a bride, they did it with such efficiency and everyone looked great! I will be going to Chrissy anytime that I need my makeup professionally done and will recommend theml to everyone I know who's looking. Thank you so much ladies for making my wedding day memorable. -

They make your day so great and are so friendly and know what they are doing! I love that they had a team of girls ready to get you all glammed up! Especially with my bridal party of 11! I would recommend them to anyone in Michigan getting married! They even came to your hotel or where ever you would be getting ready, couldn't be happier! -

My make up and hair stayed in place all day and night (throughout the dancing and pictures)! These ladies really are the best at what they do and i would highly recommend them to any future bride!!!!!!! I really can't thank them enough for the wonderful job they did! All of my girls were so happy w/ their hair! -

Jaclyn Sent on 06/24/2010Chrissy and company came to do our hair and make-up for the morning of the wedding. (Olivia was sick :( ) I loved the fact that we were able to get ready all at the same location and not have to travel to separate places for hair and make-up. All three of my bridesmaids including my mom and mother-in-law decided to get the airbrush make-up done. They all looked amazing! 2 of my bridesmaids, myself and my mom also got their hair done. One of my bridesmaids didn't really like how her hair was turning out but once we said something, it was fixed and ending up looking amazing!
Unfortunately, I am susceptible to migraines. I wanted my hair up so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting in the way. They did a great job with my hair and made sure that each bobby pin that went in wasn't too tight to give me a headache. All of us absolutely LOVED this service and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a worry free day as far as hair and make-up are concerned. A BIG THANK YOU!!! We can't wait to see the pictures! -

Christine Sent on 03/17/2017The girls from Bridesmaid Beautiful could not have been more wonderful! Olivia, Chrissy and Katelyn came to do my bridesmaid/mothers and I and they were so wonderful. They are sweet/nice/professional etc. It is so nice to have them come to you, and not have to drive around on your wedding day or deal with traffic etc.
Everyone looked BEAUTIFULLLL and was so happy with their services! They were great listeners and accommodating to each girl's needs.
I am so happy they offer trials and I am so glad I did it! I would recommend them to any bride/group of bridesmaids! They could not have been more wonderful to work with. I will be visiting them in the salon soon :) -

Laura Sent on 06/15/2016I had Christy for me & my bridal party's hair stylist and Caitlyn for our make-up and I thought they were both fantastic! Everyone's hair and makeup stayed all day/night, the girls came to my house (and it was quite a drive from them!) and they were early, ready to go, and so friendly and flexible, willing to work with and fix what anyone wanted. I shopped around and they were also one of the best priced companies and I loved their salon when I went in for my trial. The only bummer was that one of my bridesmaids is Asian and Caitlyn didn't quite have a foundation dark enough for her so she ended up using her own - I didn't know to ask about it or mention it ahead of time. But other than that everything was fantastic I thought! -

They showed up at our house right on time and did beautiful work on the hair and makeup in a very timely fashion. We were ready in no time and looked beautiful. It was also affordable.
Chrissy was such a pleasure to work with. She is such a sweetheart, makes you laugh, and is great at what she does. It is also really nice to be able to get ready at your home or wherever your ceremony is, instead of having to stress about driving over to a salon.
Everyone commented on how beautiful my hair and makeup looked on the wedding day. I would highly recommend Bridesmaid Beautiful for your wedding! -

Nicole Sent on 05/23/2016Absolutely loved what they did for us. They came on location to help myself, my 4 bridesmaids, and my mother in law with hair and make up. They were so friendly, knew what they were doing, and all of us felt and looked beautiful. They even did a few curls for our flowergirl that was above and beyond. The only mishap was that they lost our deposit check, which I had to cancel and didn't reimburse me for the cancelled check fee. Definitely worth it to have them! -

Kellee Sent on 06/14/2012They traveled to me and did all 12 of my bridal party and I. Make up was amazing and hair was too! They arrived on time and worked promptly to get us all done. They were friendly and fun and seemed to enjoy their jobs. I got a huge bruise from work just a few days before my wedding and they even airbrushed that for me so it would not show up in photos and stuff (it was only on my arm but it was big and ugly lol! and they worked miracles!) There were 4 flower girls in my party and they did their hair and were nice to everyone. The pricing was ok, 150 for bridal hair and make up and 110 per bridemaid for hair and makeup and only 25 bucks for flower girls and 50 for my junior bride. They did charge travel fees. The only reason i did not give a full 5/5 is because it took a while for them to return my emails/calls -

I was super excited after my hair and makeup trial They were super accommodating with changes even last minute and were great with communication. On my wedding day, my makeup was done by someone else, and while I understand these things happen, my makeup did not end up looking like it did during my trial. There were issues with my lashes that I asked to be fixed a handful of times and my eyeliner had to be fixed by a bridesmaid after the team left because it wasn't done. My hair had to be re-curled before I left the hotel and again before the ceremony. I also got a spray tan at the salon 4 days before - my mom ended up with lines across the back of her arms and mine did stain my dress. I was very appreciative that they were able to travel out to me day of - it took away a lot of stress on the morning of. I loved the gifted champagne bottle and lipsticks they let me keep for the day. I did feel beautiful and that mattered most to me, but for so much money I should have looked perfect! All the girls were very kind and I would still recommend their service. -

I am sorry to have to write a review, but I gave this vendor an opportunity to course correct and their customer service was absolutely horrible. TLDR: You are not promised your trial artist. Communication is awful. Seeking to understand is non-existent.
I traveled on 2 separate occasions for my trials. The trials themselves were amazing; I was SO stoked about the look. I was told I would be getting the same artists for my wedding day. They even called me a week before to say the names of the artists I had for my trials. The morning of, they showed up with a different artists. They ADMITTED to my bridesmaid that they made an error, but never once acknowledged it to me. Never reassured me. Never followed up after the wedding. They kept me in the dark, took their money and ran.
I reached out a month later, just asking for answers and really trying to understand what went wrong. I never once said a word or complained when they were there, and I assumed they would admit or give me reassurance at some point for the error they admitted to. When I reached out, it took so long to hear back and their "apology" was the most ChatGPT response I have ever seen. They could have called, could have said anything, but their behavior left me under the impression that they did not care about their brides and their special day and only want their money. After I was asking for more information and clarification, they ghosted. I had to follow up time and time again.
I am so sad to write a bad review. I thought having an adult conversation to understand would help, or even solicit some sort of correction. I could not be more disappointed in their response. Your wedding is supposed to be your most stress-free day... mine started hot out the gates at 7am.
It's done and over with, and at the end of the day, I am married to my best friend so I won't let a careless vendor ruin that for me. However, I wanted to share my experience to hopefully avoid this happening to another bride. -

CALLING THE ATTENTION OF ALL THE BRIDES-TO-BE
I usually don't like to write bad reviews, but as a bride-to-be, I would’ve appreciated a warning before considering this business. Hopefully this review will help others avoid making the same mistake I made in hiring such low-quality service. I hired the services of BridesMaid Beautiful on December 6, 2022. I sent my contract with the $200 deposit to secure my date. I took a long time to find a good place to assist me in my big day. I had the extra challenge of finding a professional because I am not a Michigan resident, and it took me longer to find someone local to my venue. Initially, I came across the Facebook page of BridesMaid Beautiful, and I was impressed by what I saw. My disappointment began on June 8th when I drove over 6 hours to go to their salon and get my makeup trial. They introduced me to the "professional" who was going to do my makeup. I showed her my inspirational picture of makeup, and she immediately started doing my eye makeup. She didn't clean or prepare my face. She just literally started doing my makeup in a really sloppy manner, and very rushed. Another detail I would like to emphasize, she was eating while also doing my makeup. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. She did everything so fast; she pretty much finished a bride's makeup in 30 min. I was shocked by the result! However, I was trying to work with her and trying to guide her to create a look more similar to what I had in mind. After several tries to fix the makeup, I gave up because it was not getting any better.
Another issue that I found with her makeup products is the quality of them; it seems to be very cheap makeup. With just a simple touch, the makeup would come off on my fingers and also stained my outfit. She used eyelashes on me that are very thick and don't seem natural at all. The eyelashes were also not really aligned with my real eyelashes, and looked crooked. All of my lines of expression on my face were very emphasized, and I ended up looking older than I actually am. The coverage of the makeup was really poor; I had a small pimple on my face that was still visible after the makeup. After leaving her salon, I literally cried in the car. Besides all the issues I had with my makeup, I was also charged $30 dollars extra on top of the $200 trial price; according to them, this is the new price of the trial, which does not follow my contract.
Even with all these issues, I still tried to work things out with them. The salon is really hard to get a hold of. If you call the number they have available on Google, they never answer. But if I go to their website, there’s a number for the emergency calls, which is the number of one of the owners. I called the emergency number the day after my trial and spoke with Chrissy. She seemed empathetic towards my situation and also understanding of my concerns since my wedding is two months away (and also falls on a holiday weekend - Labor Day, which makes things more difficult to find someone available). I asked for her support to find someone else to replace this makeup artist. Several days went by and I still didn’t hear back from her. I decided to email them about my situation, and I explained my issue in greater detail. To this very day, my emails remain unanswered (it's not the first time they didn’t answer my email). The day of my wedding is approaching fast, and with this issue, my anxiety is growing. So I decided myself find someone else from her salon to do my makeup. I looked up their Facebook page, and I found a few artists that seem better. I called Chrissy again and informed her of the names of the professionals that I like. Unfortunately, only one of them was still available for my day, and this artist only had one picture available on their Facebook. So, I kindly called/texted Chrissy asking for more pictures of this makeup artist. When she did answer, she always claimed that she was too busy to send the pictures to me now, but reassured me that she would send it later in the day. She never sent them. (This happened 3 times, where she told me she would send me the pictures, but never sent anything).
So, I completely lost my hope with this establishment and decided no longer work with them. I called Chrissy today, July 7th, 2023, to inform her that I no longer want to work with them. Her reaction really surprised me, she got very heated with me, and I was caught off guard by her reaction. I was very polite on the phone when I first called, and I imagined that she would be upset when I requested a refund, but even before I got the chance to mention the refund, she started being rude to me. After some time discussing, she said she couldn't argue with me because she was working with a client. I was very shocked by that because, well, what business owner would want their client hearing such a conversation? It certainly wouldn’t look good. Our conversation ended with her saying she would not refund me for the trial but would look at my contract and see what can she do about the deposit. She pretty much said: "Have a great day." And hung up on me. I know this is a really long review, however there's still some other details that I am not adding, but I really want people to be aware what they might be getting into with this place. Especially if you’re working with them on something as important as your wedding. I am also attaching to this review the pictures of the makeup I got and my inspirational makeup so you can make your own opinion. I am also attaching the email that I sent to the salon to prove how misunderstood and ignored I was. I hope this review helps other brides-to-be make better choices for their big day.
