Two amazing services from Brides First Dance!
We used BFD for both DJ services and for day-of coordination. Bill and MJ were nothing short of amazing!!! I can't imagine our day without them. Everything we had discussed prior to the big day went so well, and they just handled every item on the schedule with class, professionalism, and FUN! I highly recommend both of them; thank you Bill and MJ so much!!! -

Bill is an incredible DJ. I wasn't sure at first how I should handle everything (do you give him a thousand songs to only play or tell him to have a ball?) I gave him lots of suggestions and let him go from there and I couldn't have been happier. We had a big group of diverse individuals and somehow Bill managed to get everyone on the dance floor and having a blast. From the Earth, Wind, & Fire to Spice Girls, to modern pop/rap, he had it all. Plus everyone told me all night how nice and accommodating he was. One thing you don't want is a DJ who's rude to your guests and that's something I never had to worry about with Bill.

Want your dance floor FULL all night? Want flexible, pleasant, professional and good people to work with? With the BEST price going? Bill and MJ at brides first dance is all of the above! Accommodated all requests - and we had a lot (Polish&Irish wedding with a lot of not so main stream songs) Bill even researched songs on his own and they were crowd pleasers. Photo booth was awesome. Made our wedding our wedding the spectacular day that it was. You won't find better- if I could give 10 stars I would -

One of the best choices for our wedding- Bill was super responsive, flexible, and went above and beyond to find songs that we wanted. Also the absolute best MC!

I found Bill at my best friends wedding that I was a bridesmaid in! He was super laid back and played requested songs. My wedding was March 05 2016. I didn't meet Bill until January. He was so wonderful and took on my wedding last minute. Him and his wife came out and everything was just perfect! If you want someone who will give you an awesome time and memories and who always has amazing communication you need to pick bridesfirstdance! -

I've had Bill West of Brides First Dance on hold for a long time, long before I was even engaged. He had DJ'd a friend's reception a year and a half before and that had been the best time I ever had at a wedding, until mine of course. He played a great variety of music that kept the crowd on the dance floor all night. When he DJ'd my boss' wedding he even let us do a bit of karaoke. I was beyond thrilled when I was finally engaged and immediately booked him for my big day. Bill's day job is a DJ for one of Charleston's country radio shows. My side job is a blogger for a country music website. I knew I wouldn't have to worry about hearing all my favorite songs being played, even the up & coming favorite musicians of mine that don't get radio play. It was a big task. I filled out his paperwork in very specific detail and he played every single song I requested, and made sure to stay away from my do not play list. And he let us have the mic multiple times that night. I'm surprised we didn't blow his ear drums with our out of tune karaoke. The pictures from my reception are so priceless from all the singing and dancing (and acting out our favorite songs) that Bill played for us. Kinda makes me wish I had a videographer. I definitely recommend Bill. I hope he's the DJ at any future weddings I go to. -

Bill was a fabulous addition to our special day. He provided the perfect selection of music and complied with no problem to all requests we had, even on the spot requests. We WILL recommend him and his company, Brides First Dance, to all people, friends, family, neighbors and associates. On the day of my wedding I realized quickly that Brides First Dance was a very good choice in my research because Bill West certainly proved that with his awesome work through out the entire event. -

Bill West was the perfect DJ for our daughter's wedding! He did exactly what we requested and never missed a beat! Very polite, friendly and always had a smile on his face. He played all our favorite songs, a few requests and even a special "flash mob" request!

We had a wonderful experience with Bill from Bride's First Dance. Our ceremony and reception were on the same property, but two different locations. We were able to have quality music in both locations. I loved that there was music after the ceremony that followed the guests from one location to the other. It definitely set the tone for the event, and it was exactly what we wanted! I would highly recommend to all my family and friends. -

I would like to thank you again for a great job you did at my son's Bar Mitzvah. The party turned out great, and I attribute it largely to your skill and effort. I have had comments from the guests, such as "The party was all about the kids, and the DJ was great." The party was, indeed, all about the kids. I have not seen kids (and especially boys) have so much fun at these events. One boy later texted: "One of the best 3 hours he experienced since the beginning of 2014." Thank you for creating wonderful music selection and making sure the kids were on the dance floor.

Bill was our ceremony and wedding DJ and also provided a photo booth at our wedding last weekend- he was absolutely amazing to work with!!! He was professional and easy to communicate with- custom logo on our photo booth strips, played all of our desired songs, worked closely with my dad to make sure he had the proper mics and speaker setup for live and canned music at our ceremony. He really went above and beyond! -

We had Bill West for our DJ at our daughter's wedding on October 4th. He is a true professional and was wonderful to work with. We cannot say enough good about him. Our daughter had a do not playlist and Bill was able to accommodate all of our requests. Our guests had a blast on the dance floor all night and we can't thank Bill enough for helping to make our wedding a memorable event. The songs that are played at a wedding are very important and we were in excellent hands with Bill handling the music for the evening. He gets in A plus in our book!

Bill West was amazing - he listened to everything we wanted and was able to manage the flow of the party perfectly. Even with some very crazy international guests and music requests! He worked extra hard to make sure that he had all of the name pronunciations down pat (which we really appreciated). We also gave him an iPhone with a playlist at the last minute that he was able to mix in and incorporate on the spot without any hiccups! During the planning process, he was super responsive and a consummate professional. Definitely one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding! -

We used this vendor for a wedding and couldn't have been happier. We planned a wedding in Charleston SC from Ohio, so all our communications were accomplished online and on the phone. Bill West did an excellent job as our DJ....very professional, easy to work with, arrived early to get set up, and was a big help in the planning process. His music was great, not blaring loud, and he was very professional when he spoke. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!!! -

Bill Triebold did a great job. He did exactly what we wanted which was a low key reception, nothing crazy for us. I don't doubt that he could pump up the volume also. We had a substantial list of music we wanted played and he managed to do a great job with it. He was very professional looking and great to work with. Throughout the night Bill always had a smile on his face and I appreciated that. He was very flexible in working with us and the price was great! -

My husband and I are so pleased that we chose to go with Brides First Dance for our DJ. Bill was extremely professional but also personable. Planning all of the details of our wedding certainly got stressful at times, but working with Brides First Dance made the entertainment part of our wedding easy! We felt comfortable knowing we were in good hands. Our guests danced the night away. Thank you for helping us make our reception so memorable! -

We attended a party where Bill was the DJ and when we needed one for our wedding we called Bill. Bill knows how to rock the house. Our guest are still talking about what a great reception we had as we rocked the night away with Bill! Thank you, Bill.... we will be calling on you again! -

Bill was the perfect host and dj for our wedding. He was prepared and took the time to learn how to pronounce the tricky names in the wedding party and knew, in advance, how the event was to be conducted. It took a lot of pressure off me, my new bride and our families knowing we were in good hands.
Anyone can play music but if you are looking for someone to direct, host and entertain on one of the most important days of your life, I suggest you hire a pro like Bill West. I'm sure glad I did! -

I highly recommend Brides First Dance who provided excellent service for our daughter's wedding! The DJ was professional and quite sensitive to the guests, i.e. different age groups, varying preferences for types of music, etc. Additionally, he was alert and confident in his role as emcee as well when it was time to introduce the wedding party, special guests, toasts, speeches, and all the rest. Neat, well-groomed and appropriately dressed, he made sure that everyone (large crowd) was aware of the cake cutting and of course, the Bride and Groom's first dance!! -

Bill West and Brides First Dance were the perfect choice for our event. Bill arrived at our event before his promised time, had all of his equipment set up and tested in ample time, was dressed and ready for our guests even before our caterer was ready. Bill managed to have music with him that we had not even thought of; the dance floor was hopping. We can't thank everyone at Brides First Dance enough for all the entertainment they provided. I feel we received far more services than we paid for and I would hire them again in a minute. -

Bill was everything a bride could ask for in a DJ! He played all the songs we asked for, none of the ones we didn't want, and kept our guests dancing all night! He played a wide variety of music that really appealed to all ages--even my 75 year-old grandma was up on the dance floor! After hearing so many DJ horror stories, I'm glad I found one who was so professional and helped make our day really special. -

I would very much like to give Bill Triebold (Brides First Dance) a great recommendation for the services he provided at my wedding, December 30, 2012 at Oldfield Plantation in Okatie, South Carolina. Bill was the consummate professional, arrived on schedule, and actually played the majority of songs we furnished him at the late date of Friday before the wedding. He was polite, personable and handled the flow of the ceremony just as requested. It was a pleasure to have him at the wedding and I would not hesitate to call for his services again in the future. -

All I have to say is THANK YOU BILL! With everything going on to make my wedding happen...from the flowers, caterer, venue, etc... Brides First Dance was the easiest. When I met with Bill West, I was so relieved. He brought some play lists that he thought I would like and times the reception could stay track... it was perfect. He was on time, set up and played requests. He was easy to talk to. He was the ONLY thing I didn't worry about. I would recommend him to all my friends for their special day! -

Bill West did a great job as DJ and MC of our Awards Night Gala and Dance. Referred to us by the folks at the Westin Resort, Bill was amazingly smooth and organized as he handled the MC duties during our Awards program. Following the presentation, he had everyone on the dance floor with a great mix of music. We were hesitant about hiring a DJ because we really didn't want the cheesy feel that some DJ's bring.... In short, Bill was a perfect match and we're so glad we hired him. He was very responsive to our emails, always professional, and just a really nice guy, too!
