Epic alterations

Not only did they help me find my dream dress, but they altered it and a reception dress that I didn’t buy from them to perfection. The attention to detail on my alterations was incredible. Every piece of lace lay perfectly. As the pictures are coming in I’m so glad I chose them!

All My Friends Got Their Wedding Dresses at Bridals by Elena!

I cannot say enough good things about Bridals by Elena! My sister and all my married best friends got their wedding dresses here and when it was my turn, I knew I wanted to get my dress here too. Elena worked within my budget and listened to everything I said I wanted in a gown. She somehow pulled dresses I didn’t even see and I loved trying all of them on. Once I found my dress and told her the changes I wanted to make, she tailored it perfectly for my body (changing the sleeves and adding a plunge to the front). I couldn’t be happier with my dress and my experience at Bridals by Elena. Everyone who works there is so helpful and friendly. I felt so beautiful in my dress and didn’t want to take it off at the end of the night. All the alterations went seamlessly and I truly had the best wedding dress experience here! I tried other boutiques in the area, but none compared. Thank you for my beautiful dress!!!

Fantastic bridal shop!

I had an incredible experience at Bridals by Elena! Frances was fantastic in helping me search for dresses. I liked every dress she picked out for me better than the ones I had picked out for myself - she really listened to what I was looking for and was extremely helpful with her recommendations. After choosing my dress, Elena and her team were incredible with alternations! I truly found my dream dress and could not have been happier with how it looked on my wedding day. Elena was amazing, start to finish!

When I first ventured out to shop for wedding dresses, I had every expectation of going home empty handed. I thought nothing would fit me the right way or give me that WOW factor that I wanted. Then I went to Bridals by Elena. When I tried on "the one" she knew it. She sensed how much more comfortable and confident I had felt in the dress and we all knew it was the one before I even said it out loud. Once we started alterations it was a breeze, she worked wonders to make that dress MINE. I felt like a princess on my wedding day and received endless compliments on how beautiful the dress was and how it fit me. My mother even found a dress to wear and Elena had it fitting her like a glove and she looked so beautiful. I highly recommend stopping through and seeing Elena for your wedding dress search.

I highly recommend!

The people here are very helpful and very professional. I had a hard time finding a dress because of my body shape and I was also very insecure of my body. But one of the workers here, helped me a lot and found the perfect dress for me! I highly recommend!

One and Done, Thanks to Frances!

Like a lot of people in this economy, my plan was to get a “sample sale” dress. My bridal consultant, Frances gave me and my guests a tour of the store and let us pick dresses that we just knew would be beautiful on me. When it came time to try on dresses, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Frances had also picked out several dresses as well. Needless to say, all of the dresses that Frances picked out were 10x better than our choices. Frances knows her stuff! I’m so grateful for her honesty, witty humor, and true understanding of current bridal fashion. Frances warned me not to try a dress on outside of my budget and the dresses that she picked were absolutely stunning. I was blessed to say yes to the dress after my first and only bridal consultation. Thank you Frances for having an “eye for fashion”!

Amazing 10/10

This was by far the best experience dress shopping. I had been to one other place prior. It was ok but just wasn't my style she I don't feel like they truly catered to my needs. However Frances made the world of a difference. She was attentive. She heard my needs and DELIVERED. She was personable. My family and I truly enjoyed our experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fabulous service, excellent quality

Bridals by Elena was a pleasure to work with. The staff that helped us—Natasha, Katya, and Elena—all listened to me about what kind of dress I wanted, and they also gave me advice about what would look best on me. They took the time to show my mom how to bustle my gown and gave her tips for the process. Bridals by Elena does alterations in-house, too, which was highly convenient; the quality was excellent, as well.
We liked Bridals by Elena so much that my mom got her dress for my wedding there, too. She had the same fabulous experience that I did. When it was time to take our dresses home, they provided strong zippered bags that kept our dresses safe.
Bridals by Elena not only offered excellent service, but they also carry such a wide variety of gowns at various price points—surely there’s something for everyone. Go check them out! We are beyond thrilled that we chose them.

Beautiful dress, great alterations!

Elena and her team helped me pick out a GORGEOUS wedding dress and worked with me on the many customizations that I wanted. The hemmed the dress, added detachable sleeves, and helped me pick an overskirt so I could have the floofy ceremony look but also dance comfortably after. Very highly recommend!

my dress was a dream

I worked with Katia and had a great experience!! Katia pulled a dress for me that I never would have even tried on at first and with a few modifications it ended up being the perfect one for me. I ended up with the BL372 Astley by Casablanca but I made modifications to the straps and bodice. Katia was super patient with me while I figured out exactly what I wanted and the dress fit like a glove. It was oh so fun to dance in and I felt like a princess the entire night! Thank you again Bridals by Elena!

Amazing!!!

The staff was amazing!!!! They helped me find my perfect dress and really listened to my likes and dislikes of each dress I tried on to help me find the perfect one. The alterations process was great too as they took the time to make sure that each detail was perfect. The alterations department also took the time to clearly explain how to bussel my dress for my mom and sister and allowed them to practice buttoning and unbuttoning my dress in the store so that they felt prepared for the big day. 10/10 recommend!

Katia & the Bridals by Elena team are the absolute BEST!!

I am SO thankful to Katia, Elena, and the Bridals by Elena team for making my bridal gown dreams come true! From start to finish (which was 2 years with postponing our wedding) they were the most wonderful team to work with. On the first day I went dress shopping we went to 3 stores with Bridals by Elena being the first one. I was so glad the gown I loved was at Bridals by Elena because the other 2 stores and experiences could not compare to the amazing experience we had with Katia and at Bridals by Elena. They are so knowledgeable and it is evident they truly care about what they do and helping make the bridal vision come to life. They put so much care and attention to detail into the alterations and they came out amazing. When I mentioned to them the type of bustle I was hoping for for my dress, they made my vision come to life (despite the train having a lot of material) and it looked INCREDIBLE and held the whole night with all of the dancing! It was such a wonderful feeling always being able to look forward to going there for my follow up fitting appointments and having complete faith and trust in the gown end result being everything I had hoped for. I am so grateful that I got my bridal gown with Bridals by Elena and had the opportunity to work with Katia and this amazing team! Thank you so much!

Both my sister and I have bought our wedding dresses here and I recommend this bridal shop to anyone who is getting married! They have a huge selection of dresses and the staff are experts at picking out the right dress for your body. Frances helped me find my dream dress and I felt like a super model when I wore it!

Everyone in the boutique was extremely helpful and being able to have my support system come with me every step of the way made for such a personalized experience. Bridal Shop

The dress fit like a glove and held up beautifully all night. I felt so beautiful the entire night. When picking out my dress, Frances really listened to me and didn’t try to sway me to a certain dress. She really gave me her undivided attention. And thank you to Elena for price matching and helping me say yes to the perfect dress. I want to extend a special thank you to Katia as well, for helping with alterations several times, including the month before when I needed some last-minute adjustments. Covid-19 Notes: I had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19 twice, and the team at Bridals by Elena really were flexible with having to adjust my dress after final alterations and postponing twice.

Amazing Experience

I had such an amazing experience buying my dress here. My twin purchased her dress at Bridals by Elena years prior so I decided to go there first to try some dresses on to see what I liked and have the dress shopping experience with my mom and sisters. I never had any dress in mind but after maybe 4-5 dresses I tried on I fell in love with the one. I had no intention on getting a dress on the first try but am so happy I did. Everyone at the salon was amazing to work with and I actually live in Kansas City so it added some complications with alterations plus Covid delayed our wedding by a year so I truly appreciate the salon being flexible with me and all the delays and numerous emails that were sent back and forth over the years. I highly recommend Bridals by Elena for anyone looking for a dress

You won’t regret it-

From start to finish, they were nothing short of amazing! I found my dream dress here and the alteration process was a breeze- I had lost 50 pounds from the time I bought my dress and was so worried my dress would be ruined or that I would have to buy a new dress but they worked their magic and I felt like a complete princess on my wedding day! Amazing Experience!!

I worked with Frances and I'm sure glad I did!! I had gone to a few bridal salons but didn't find *the* dress yet. At Bridals By Elena, I was able to browse and grab a few dresses myself to try on and Frances pulled some others that she thought I might like based on what I was picking out. Frances was so kind, funny, honest, and just made the experience so much fun. She ended up picking out the dress that I ultimately said yes to the dress to. Truly a wonderful experience

This was my first time finding my dress and even though we had to wear face masks it never took away from the amazing time I had. Our consultant Frances was so sweet, funny and listened to all my wants in a wedding dress. She finally was able to find me my dress and it was everything I wanted and more without breaking my budget. As soon as I got my dress they set me up for my next appointment they were super efficient. Overall my experience was a 10/1o and if anyone if looking for a dress I’d say this is the place to go

I’m an introvert especially when it comes to something like dress shopping. The staff at Bridals by Elena was amazing to work with! Katia helped me find the perfect dress and was so helpful. Perfect experience

I loved getting my dress here! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I went dress shopping three places before coming here and I was starting to get discouraged until I walked through the doors here! Francis helped pick out my dress. I was not going to try it on but she showed it to me and as soon as I put it on I knew!!! Thank goodness for her or I would have never tried it on! I received so many compliments. They were very patient with teaching my mom the bustle and taking the time for multiple fitting appointments. Thank you for a dream come true!

Amazing Shop

This was my first shop and I ended up with the first dress thanks to the wonderful people at Bridals by Elena. I brought in some pictures of dresses that I liked online and said what I liked/didn't like, parts of my body that I wanted to 'hide' and Natasha picked out 4 dresses that she thought I would love based on what I had said. The first one was it!
The fittings were amazing and the team worked well to make adjustments to ensure that the dress fit perfectly.

Made My Dream Gown a Reality

Bridals by Elena was the perfect place to find my wedding dress. I had visited about a dozen salons in the DC area looking for my perfect dress without much success. I finally branched out geographically and came across this salon near Fort Meade. I am so happy I did! They had such a lovely selection, and I ultimately found my dress here. Even though I loved the dress, there were several things I wanted to change about it, like shortening the train significantly (like 3 feet) and creating a more plunging back. Elena and her team executed my vision flawlessly, and I couldn’t have been more in love with the way it turned out. Everyone was also very friendly and welcoming, and they even worked with me to schedule fittings outside their normal times because I live somewhat far away. I would definitely recommend Bridals by Elena!

Elena is amazing!

Bridals by Elena was amazing! I had Natasha as my wedding dress consultant. The salon was beautiful with multiple 'runways' and lots of dresses lining the store. Natasha was professional and did a great job pulling gowns that were within my budget and she listened to what I liked in a dress. I chose a gown that was surprisingly under my budget and Bridals by Elena made it a lot of fun by taking our pictures and having us ring the 'say yes to the dress' bell. Elena came in to do my sizing and measuring before ordering the dress and she was professional and helpful. In the next few months, Elena did the alterations for my dress which turned out PERFECTLY! I can't recommend her enough! She was very professional and pays close attention to detail. She was able to reconstruct the top of my dress so the straps were exactly the way I wanted them. By the time I picked up my dress, it fit like a glove and I felt even more beautiful in it. Elena is a master at dress alterations and I wouldn't go to anyone else! You have to trust the process- it takes 3 alteration appointments to get the dress exactly how you want it, but it's SO worth it!

Elena was a dream

I am super self-conscious and when I started the wedding dress journey, every single style I tried on made me feel like a sausage. I was getting very depressed after two bridal shops and not finding a thing I was over the moon about, when Elena (for the third time during the trip) asked if I would try on something that was on one of the mannequins I had ignored. It was not my style, not what I had dreamed about, and definitely a no from the start. Then I put it on. She was, of course, right. It was perfect. Now, I didn't give in at that moment - I assumed I was just feeling the magic, and needed to try again elsewhere with some of the styles I had originally wanted...ended up back at Elena's with a group of girls in tow. Bought then and there, and freaking out the whole time. I mean, how could i have ended up with a dress that I never dreamed of!? I'm busty with a small waist, and needed to have the dress purchased in a larger size, then taken in by quite a bit, but Elena and her team did a phenomenal job. I was Cinderella for a day. Excellent experience with this shop!

Elena and her staff were wonderful to work with! Every time we went to a fitting, we were amazed at their attention to detail as they transformed a dress that was mostly what the bride wanted into a dress that was exactly what she had dreamed of--nothing was overlooked, no request went unfulfilled. They were always pleasant, helpful, and professional as they took care of not just the dress for the bride but also the dresses for the mother of the bride and eight bridesmaids, all living in different states and traveling to a wedding in a different destination! We can't thank Elena and her staff enough for helping to make our wedding so beautiful! This shop is absolutely the best!!

Frances was amazing!!

I had such a wonderful experience at Bridals by Elena. I had an image in my head of what I wanted to look like before my appointment and when I met Frances, my consultant, she exceeded my expectations. She knows what she's doing and makes the experience very enjoyable and relaxed! The dress I chose was actually a dress Frances pulled before we even sat down to discuss my style. She stated as soon as she saw me she knew it was my dress, and it was! It was the 5th dress I tried on, and of course I tried on many others, but this one was my dress. I would highly recommend this Bridal shop and specifically Frances as your consultant.

Beautiful Selection and Talented Seamstress

I visited several stores and tried on a TON of dresses. When I found my dress at Bridals by Elena I knew it was the one when I saw it on their mannequin. We got the dress order placed, and then I went home and second-guessed my color choice. I contacted them and they made the change for me no problem. It came in quickly, and by the time I had my first fitting, I had lost 20 pounds. They were able to take it in and made it fit me perfectly. It had a lot of detail and beading and it was a ball gown with a lot of fabric, but they made it perfect. The bustle was incredible (it was a lot of steps but it looked flawless). I highly recommend this team!

Simply Awesome!

I am a person that doesn't care much for shopping, as I usually have a firm idea of what I want and very little patience for finding it, because I rarely want common items which are easily found. So I figured that finding my wedding dress would be a daunting task which I was somewhat dreding. Hence, I decided to start my search online in an effort to find something I really, really liked and save myself a lot of time in the bridal shops. I found a dress that I loved online and scheduled an appointment with Ms. Frances who is phenomenal! Ms. Frances pulled the dress that I wanted and then proceeded to pull some additional dresses while I filled out my paperwork. She also took the time to ask guestions to find out what I liked and she also asked me about dress styles that I had already decided wouldn't look good on me. Ms. Frances patiently listened to what I wanted and allowed us to pick out what we thought would look best, while she also pulled some dresses that she knew would look beautiful with my body type. (You know, the ones that I had already decided wouldn't look good on me.) All I can say is that Ms. Frances is phenomenal at what she does and she has an exceptional eye. She also has a fun loving spirit and she was able to turn an experience that I was somewhat dreding into a truly fun and beautiful experience that was filled with warmth, laughter and fun! Without her I probably would have gone home feeling defeated, as the dress that I fell in love with online didn't look very flattering on me and the other dresses that we selected looked nice, but just weren't 'it'. Needless to say, Ms. Frances found the perfect dress for me, and yes it was one of the styles that I was not even considering! Ms. Frances' extensive experience in this industry and her keen eye cannot be overstated!!!!!! By the way, with Ms. Frances' assistance and professional expertise I said, "Yes to the dress", less than 1.5 hours after we arrive. 😊

The perfect dress!

I was very nervous about trying on wedding dresses for the first time. The staff at Bridals by Elena made me so comfortable and let me try on anything I wanted, all while staying within my budget. They made the process super easy and because of their help I was able to find the most perfect dress to fit with my perfect day. They also spent so much time and effort altering my dress to fit me like a glove. I want to thank them because they made me feel so very beautiful on my wedding day- exactly how every girl wants to feel on that day. I absolutely recommend them to any future bride!

Frances is the best!

Can I just say, my experience at Bridal's By Elena was exceptional! The space is beautiful, you get an amazing walkway like you're a model with rear cameras to show you the back of the dress and the front at the same time. Their selections seem endless and their pricing is reasonable. Still, the most outstanding aspect of my visit was Frances. She made me comfortable, she's hilarious, she was not afraid to be honest with me and made my experience sensational. If you go here, ASK FOR FRANCES. She was the one who found my absolute dream dress that I overlooked and didn't even plan to try on... and it was under budget! I'm excited to have her help with my bridesmaids dresses soon! I can't say enough great words about Frances. She is the best.

Amazing experience!

This store has a very big variety of dresses in different styles that are reasonably priced, and the best part is that everything can be customized by the amazing seamstress! This was the first store I went to and ended up getting a beautiful dress on that very first visit. The staff is very knowledgable, friendly, and professional. The alterations and customization I had done to the dress came out flawlessly, and even though I bought it a bit closer in time to the wedding than most people, I still had my dress ready and at home 2 weeks before the wedding. This place is a little far if you're coming from DC but it is absolutely worth the drive!

Wonderful Salon with Unique Touches

Bridals by Elena has so many wonderful touches that made my experience here FAR surpass any another bridal salon I've visited. First, Frances, who was helping me out that day, was AMAZING; she kept the mood light, was always honest (which I really appreciated!) and put a constant smile on my face. Second, each dress on the racks had a picture to go along with it which was INCREDIBLY useful; it's so hard to picture what a dress will actually look like when it's on a hanger and the pictures were such a nice touch. There were prices on the pictures, too. Finally, each fitting isle had not only a mirror in the front but also TV broadcasting a camera-feed of the back of the dress so it was SO easy to get an all-around feel for the dress. I was avoiding Elena's only because SO many of my friends got their dresses from here but they obviously came here for a reason. I said "yes" to the dress and my dress is so unique -- I could not be more pleased. Thank you Bridals by Elena for such a wonderful experience.

Wow, just wow!

Had the most perfect experience trying on wedding dresses for the very first time today - and found THE dress, only the 3rd dress I tried on! The shop is as welcoming as the staff. I was overwhelmed, but my consultant Frances was incredible! After giving her only a few buzz words on what I was looking for, she was able to help me understand what would fit my body, what was flattering, and what would be too much dress! And ultimately, she picked the dress I fell in love with! Not to mention Frances making us laugh and knowing just how to calm my nerves. I really cannot day enough wonderful things about the shop or Frances, how they put me and my group at ease, and overall how perfect the experience was. my DREAM dress

I found my DREAM DRESS at Bridals by Elena! Francis was so helpful in finding the perfect dress. Even when I was doubting myself she talked me through my thoughts and helped me realize the dress was everything I wanted. The seamstresses and Elena tailored that dress to fit me so perfectly. I have never felt more beautiful and more comfortable in anything. They showed my bridal party how to zip, button and bustle so on the day of we all knew what to do. By the end of the night, after twelve hours in my dress, I still did not want to take it off. We just took it back today to get it cleaned and preserved and I put it back on for the last time. It is a gorgeous dress, and it is everything I ever wanted in a wedding dress. Thank you Bridals by Elena!

Where can I even start? The energy is just so relaxing and different as soon as you walk into the shop. I had the pleasure of getting help from Francis and I’ll never forget it. She was so patient and tentative. She definitely knows what she’s doing and she’s amazing at it. From what I was looking for to what would look best, even what wouldn’t. She gave me tips and tricks about things I would have never found out, for example how I should hold my bouquet. Francis helped me find the dress that was made for me, and I walked out of the shop today saying yes to my dress.

I had a phenomenal experience working with Bridals by Elena! It was the first bridal shop I went to, and Frances spent so much time with me helping me narrow down what I wanted in a dress. She really knew her stuff, and helped me find the most flattering silhouette. When I had questions about possible alterations for dresses, Frances had Elena come and talk them through with me. Although I didn't find my dress at that first visit, Bridals by Elena set the wedding dress shopping bar high. I went to a few other shops, and none of them compared. I actually ended up finding my dress elsewhere, but did not get the same feeling of confidence from that shop as I did from Bridals by Elena. So I ended up going back to Bridals by Elena and having them order the dress for me. I wanted sleeves added to the dress, and Elena did an amazing job with them - they looked like they were meant to be a part of the dress all along. Elena also helped with styling during my fittings. She recommended jewelry styles, hairstyles, and helped me find the perfect veil. Everyone that I worked with on the staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and so friendly and enthusiastic. I absolutely loved working with them!

WOW! Bridals by Elena is the only wedding dress shop you need! It was my first appointment at the first shop I went to and I ended up finding my dress! As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted and assigned to Frances who has been in the wedding dress business for 21 years and man does she know her stuff. She showed my mother and me around the store and the collection of dresses, let me pick out ones I thought I might like and said: "if you don't find a dress here, you're not meant to be wearing a dress down the aisle honey :)"...She was right. They have every style a bride could want and more. But when it came down to it, all of the styles she picked out for me were the ones I liked best. She know's body types and shapes that look good in different dresses. Thinking about buying a dress had overwhelmed me and I was not looking forward to making a decision but with Frances helping, all you need to do is show up to the store and you will most likely end up leaving with your dream dress! If I could rate my experience higher I would but I guess 5 stars will have to do :)

Bridals by Elena was the 4th dress shop went to and I couldn't be happier! Frances was my consultant, she is awesome and picked my dress for me. This was the second dress she picked out! I previously tried on a bunch of fit and flares at others places and eventually gave up on the style until I met Frances. The shop makes a great team to work with! I had to have 5 fittings because I kept losing weight and each one was a success. I can't thank this team enough for what they have done for me. My day was that much more perfect because of them. PLEASE check them out, I assure you won't be disappointed! We also purchased two stellar rose gold dresses! One for mom and one for maid of honor. Shopping at Bridals by Elena was a wonderful experience. The boutique itself is well-designed and they have dresses displayed on mannequins throughout the spacious store, making them much easier to see. In addition, they have 3 more rooms full of dresses to choose from from a wide variety of designers. They have a room full of sample dresses if you're on a tighter budget. My dress consultant was Frances, and she was amazing! She was fun, easy to work with, genuine, and friendly. She has a great eye and great taste. Two out of my top 3 final dresses were ones chosen by her. They were not ones that I or my mom would've chosen for me, but we both loved them when I tried it on. She stayed within my budget, which I appreciated. Frances is available by request - I'd highly recommend her! My wedding is in < 6 months and they had no issues ordering my dream dress and scheduling my fitting/alterations to fit my timeline. This was the 3rd boutique I went to and would recommend this one first to any bride.

I was terrified of going shopping for my wedding dress, but thanks to the selection and wonderful assistance at Bridals by Elena, I ended up finding my dress within the very first hour of what I thought might be a multi-week odyssey. When I started my wedding dress search in October 2017 my best friend kept telling me to come to Bridals By Elena but I went elsewhere first to do my wedding dress shopping thinking of the budget. Ordered a dress it came in and the love for the dress wasn't there. The scary thing is this was on February 1 and my wedding is on June 23! Everyone says you need at least 6 months to order a dress and I had less than 5 months but I couldn't settle on the dress I had. Thank God I was able to get a full refund and wasn't suck with the dress but I now was on a serious time crunch and was praying I could find a dress within my budget but more importantly that it would arrive in enough time.

On Thursday, February 15 my mom and I went into Bridals By Elena and was immediately blown away! The boutique was beautiful and I could tell this was going to be a totally different experience. Frances!! She is the bomb.com!! She showed me and my mom around the store and was sooo knowledgeable and funny. She made the appointment wonderful for me. Back when I got engaged in August of 2017 I fell in love with a dress in the Brides magazine but thought it was going to be out of the budget... they had this dress in the store and it was the 2nd dress I tried on and I KNEW that was the one. Frances gave me great words of wisdom about choosing a dress. I tried on a few more dresses but knew the 2nd dress was it. Put the dress back on with the veil and DONE! SAID YES TO THE DRESS! However, at that point the real nervousness kicked in not knowing if the dress would arrive in time for my wedding with enough time for alterations and in the color and customizations I wanted and having to possibly rush order the dress. The owner Elena came over to me did measurements and after looking to see if I could get the dress she said the dress will arrive the first week of April without rush shipping! I couldn't believe it. This was such a wonderful experience and I got the dress of my dreams!

I had such a wonderful experience with my consultant, Frances. Bridals by Elena was the second bridal dress salon that I went to so I had an idea of the direction for my dress design but Frances was excellent in choosing dresses that fit my body type and would work well for my venue. Such a family atmosphere & you really feel like you become a part of the family! They are extremely professional & their work is exquisite! They were very accommodating, especially with my expanding belly! Being pregnant & not knowing how my belly would grow, they worked with me from beginning to end! From picking out a dress to measuring me every 3 weeks to see how I grow, to altering it & the final fitting! We added a corset back & I couldn't have loved the dress anymore! I had been dress shipping before but Bridals by Elena took wedding dress shopping to a whole new level! I had Frances as my consultant and she was incredible; she knew exactly what I wanted, even though I was unsure walking in to the appointment. I purchased one of the dresses she picked out for me and I am so happy with "the dress." Shopping there was the easiest thing I have done in the whole wedding process!

Bridals by Elena gave me my dream wedding dress experience! From the moment I read the reviews, I had a feeling this shop would be the right fit for me. I went with my mom, two sisters, and sister-in-law to try on dresses, and although I visited two more shops after, I came right back to look for my dress with Bridals by Elena. Katia greeted all of the girls with me, which left a great impression with me from the start. She clearly knew her stuff with the dresses - my sister had pulled one out for me and Katia brought out a more glammed-up version of that dress that ended up being the one I chose. I had been to other shops in the area where the selection was not as big and the consultants not as knowledgeable, so they definitely won on that front. In addition, I wanted to design a custom top onto a strapless dress, and Elena was wonderful throughout that whole process. I had five fittings in total, which is much more than usual. Elena would stay until 10 pm with me sometimes and worked to get what I was envisioning just right. She trained all the top-notch seamstresses that worked on my dress, and to their credit, they even undid some of their work when it wasn't exactly what I wanted. In the end, they gave me the perfect lace-y illusion top I had always dreamed of. Elena was supportive and personal without losing any of her professionalism and I really credit her for giving me my dream dress. Plus, the salon was a home-y place, not stuffy at all like some other places. The vibe you get from Elena, Katia, and the rest of the team is definitely the feeling you want during this special time in your life! 10/10 would recommend to any other brides.

I bought my dress from Bridals by Elena a few weeks ago. I made my appointment with them and requested Frances because I have heard nothing but good things about her. I had a wonderful experience during my bridal appointment. Frances took her time and listen to what I wanted in a dress and pulled four dresses for me and she also let my crew and I take a look around and pick dresses that I wanted to try on. First she said that we are going to try on all of my choices then go to hers. Well all the dresses I tried on, I didn't like. The first dress I tried on that she picked for me was everything I have ever wanted in a dress and really she nailed it on the head. Well after that, I knew I found my gown and didn't want to try anymore gowns on. Frances really made my appointment and made it as stress free as possible. Her personality was so much fun and I didn't feel rushed at all. If you go here, request Frances! You won't regret it!

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses here for my wedding in July and it was a great experience. Their customer service is excellent and they are very accommodating. The sales women who helped us pick our dresses was amazing because I had a lot of bridesmaids with different body types and she helped us find one that looked great on everyone. Katia was so helpful when Jim's Formal Wear sent the suits in incorrectly. She kept in contact with me until everything was fixed. It was a great experience!

I love my wedding dress! Frances at Bridals by Elena helped me pick my dress in August 2016 for my October 2017 wedding, and she was so much fun to work with. While dress shopping, I looked at Elena's and a few other dress shops, but I went back to Elena's because of the atmosphere. The dress shop is clean and open while still intimate, and they have a great selection of dresses. I did not do any Pinterest research before dress shopping, so my first trip to Elena's was just to see what they had and which dress styles best suited my frame. I went back to visit a dress I'd seen, and there was another dress on a mannequin that I hadn't seen on my first trip that I loved. I tried it on and loved it, but I wasn't ready to make a decision. Frances was so patient and never tried to rush my decision. My mom took pictures of me in the dresses I tried on, and it was helpful to go home and look at the pictures because I'd notice things I hadn't noticed while in the shop. After a few weeks, I still loved the one dress, so I went back to try it on again and bought it. I had four fittings, and my alterations cost exactly what Elena and Katia said they would when I purchased the dress, which I appreciated. Elena is the owner of the shop and master of the dresses--she and her team of seamstresses are amazing! Elena did a bustle for my dress that folded under in the back so the line of my dress wouldn't change, and it looked great. My mom and maid of honor were able to bustle the dress quickly and easily. Elena told us to use a crochet hook for the buttons on the dress, and that also worked perfectly. I'll miss going to Elena's--it was so exciting to dress shop and then do the fittings as the wedding got closer. Frances, Elena, and Katie are all lovely to work with. Thank you!!

My dress was perfect thanks to Elena. I went to four dress shops and came back to Elena’s. They customized my dress by hand beading sleeves. Guests were shocked it didn’t come with the dress they matched so perfectly. Terry and the sales team really knew their stuff! They were super accommodating especially for this out of town bride. I had been to three bridal shops before going to Bridals by Elena. It was an outstanding experience! My bridal consultant was Frances and she was awesome! I told her an idea of what I was looking for and my budget. She pulled the dresses for me to try on and she was right on target. I tried on 6 dresses and found "the one". Bridals by elena was recommended by a co-worker. She recommended I see Elena. I went with my mother; I had already tried on around 20 dresses at other dress shops. They have a ton of dresses in there, it was beautiful, ample space and Elena is amazing! I came in with an idea of what I wanted but after trying on 8 dresses with no luck, she brought out a dress that I fell in love with! She knew what would look good on me, she was really patient. Every appointment after that was great, elena and the entire staff were patient and took the time to address all my concerns. I absolutely loved my dress and didn't want to take it off- I almost slept in it. I high recommend you shop here for your dress and if you can, work with Elena!

I went to several Bridal Stores before finding Elena's Bridal and man I wish I would have found them sooner. Found my wedding dress my first visit there. The customer service they provided is excellent. The gown I choose fit me perfectly however it was a little bland. I was so happy when they told me I can add on extra bling and other option to fit my taste. If you looking for a Bridal Store the really knows the business look no further This is it!

This place is amazing! They have an amazing dress selection and it's clear that the staff knows what they are talking about. We worked with Katia (for my dress), Francis (for my bridesmaids), and Elena (for alterations). Everyone was so helpful and honest, and even though alterations were pricey it was worth every penny. My dress literally looked like it was custom made to fit my body and everyone told me it was the prettiest dress they had ever seen! On our last visit, my Mom was trying to decide how to cut my veil (because she was making it) and Elena said she would cut it while my dress was being prepped for us. She also picked out the most gorgeous hair piece for me and it honestly completed my look. Thank you so much!!!

I don't think I could have had a better bridal experience than I did at Bridals by Elena. I first went with just my mother and met with Francis - she put me in a dress I had no idea I thought I would ever dream of wearing. Her knowledge, personality, and expertise was incredible. I even went to another bridal boutique found a dress I loved even more that Elena's happen to already carry and wanted to make sure I purchased my dress with them. I made a follow up appointment with my "squad" and asked for Francis. She put all my nerves aside with having a large group and allowed me to truly enjoy the moment. If you are considering between Elena's and another location - I hope you go to Elena's!!

My friend bought her wedding dress here last year so when it was my turn to dress shop I knew I wanted to come here! Frances. This woman made my dress shopping experience what it should be. Dress shopping is supposed to be fun and make you feel beautiful and she went above and beyond to make sure I did feel that way. She let me try on the dresses I wanted even though I think she knew I would hate them (which I did). I am by no means picky in fact I couldn't make a decision so I ended up going twice and found my dress the second visit and if it weren't for Frances I don't think I would have had such a fabulous experience. If you are looking for your perfect dress you have to go see frances!!

I had the best experiences at Bridals by Elena!!! I worked with Frances, she was so sweet and accommodating! I had a large group and it was my first time trying on dresses! She made everyone feel welcome and treated my 4 year old niece like a princess! I found the most perfect dress that day! A week later I came back to buy it! Frances treated me like we were old friends, she dressed me up, and helped me find the perfect veil! I had the most amazing time and I can't wait to go back to see Frances when my dress comes in!

I purchased my dress at Bridal by Elena one week ago, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the store and my bridal consultant Francis. Francis pulled each dress I favored on their website. After I tried on a handful of dresses I started to become discouraged, I felt they were not as flattering on my body as I thought they'd be. Francis was quick to pick up on my demeanor. She quickly came back with three dresses of her choosing, when I tried them on....they were ALL game changers. This woman knows what she's doing!! Francis was able to understand the fit and style I was in search for and knew what styles and dresses would look fabulous. She knew how to dress my body better than I did!!! I said "yes" to a dress of Francis' chosing. Even being post pregnancy, I have never felt more beautiful/sexy in a dress. Francis has a heart of gold and is as funny as can be! This appointment was nothing short of special. In the past week I have recommended Bridal by Elena to a fellow bride, days after hearing my experience she made an appointment and found her dream dress there as well. I would highly recommend Bridal by Elena to any and all future brides!

My experience at Bridals by Elena was amazing! I worked with Frances and I told her it was my 2nd time trying on dresses and that I thought I had already found my dress, but wanted to be sure. She asked to see the dress I fell in love with and asked if I was still interested in that style. I told her yes, but was open to other styles as well! Well, Frances took me and my mom through all of the rooms of dresses and was so knowledgeable about all of the designers and dresses! She picked dresses for me to try on and had me and my mom pick some too. She was patient, kind, helpful, hilarious, and genuinely wanted to make sure I found the dress of my dreams! She took her time with me and gave honest opinions which I truly valued. She saved the dress she thought was best for last and I loved it!! I thought it was the one! Well, I didn't buy it that day, I made an appointment for a week and a half later to go back with my mom, dad, sister, and one of my bridesmaids and Frances was so excited to put me back in that dress, but she also said they had just received BRAND NEW dresses the day before and there was one or two she thought I should try on! WELL I'M SO HAPPY SHE DID!!! I found my NEW favorite dress!! MY DREAM DRESS! It was just PERFECT in every way!! Frances truly knows her bridal gowns and was such a pleasure to work with! I got my wedding dress and headpiece from Bridal’s by Elena and they did a phenomenal job! Elena did an amazing job listening to what I wanted for a wedding dress, but also helping me to try different styles to make sure I had tried a variety of dresses before I picked my perfect dress. She spent hours with me and my friends and family until I chose my wedding dress. Elena could read the room and my feelings immediately and could change gears based on what I liked or did not like from each dress I tried.

In regards to my fitting and alterations, Bridals by Elena did a great job! My dress had a ton of beading and I was worried about the alterations: I had the sleeves tapered and shortened. They were done beautifully. My mother also got her dress there for the wedding and she was given compliments all day. I would hands down suggest Bridal by Elena to EVERYONE!

This was my 12th bridal shop looking for MY wedding gown. I was over shopping but this was our last stop for the day. I was 30 mins late to the apt coming from the eastern shore that's bound to happen. I walked in and absolutely loved the set up and how personal it was there. My best friend and I were directed to every room with dresses, but only one caught my eye that was on display. Frances could not wait to get me into the dress! This was the first, every other store tries to push different dresses on me but not here. Frances understood I came to find my dress that day and she was determined to make that happen! Though I did not say yes to the dress that day, 2 weeks later o brought my mom back to see that dress and I knew it was mine. Finally said yes to the dress! Stoped at 12th store! Thank you Frances and the team at bridals by Elena!

Bridals by Elena was the last salon I went to and it most definitely should have been the only one. I had such a hard time seeing how a dress was going to look when it was a huge sample size that had to be pinned and tucked, but Elena and her team of consultants worked magic during my appointment. She also went above and beyond to make sure every little detail on my dress was flawless during alterations, and really took to heart the things I was worried about or wanted to change. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and am so glad I found my dream dress.

This is a really beautiful bridal shop with great, spacious dressing rooms and nice large podiums big enough to spread out your train while trying on dresses. They also have TVs mounted above the podiums with cameras to show you how the back of each dress looks, which is pretty neat especially during the bustling alterations appointments. My appointment was with Frances who was really great at finding the dresses I had pictures of that were available in stock and finding several others in the same style family for me to try, as well as getting me to try one or two other styles just to see. She ended up pulling a dress from a brand I'd never even considered but had all the style elements that were in types of dresses I had pictures of, and it was completely gorgeous and I loved it. I'm so glad she got it because I'm not sure I would have picked it from how the magazine picture looked. She also was so cooperative with holding an ipad so I could Skype my appointment with my mom who lives out of state. The alterations department led by Elena is great too - they built in a bra and a 15 point bustle and were very careful about explaining all the steps to get me into the dress properly on my wedding day when my bridesmaid came with me. Elena's is wonderful at helping feel like a beautiful bride!

I cannot say enough good things about Bridals by Elena! I picked the shop because it is 5 seconds from where I live and I figured I might as well start close to home. I was SUPER nervous going in since this was my first wedding dress shopping experience. I was convinced I was going to look terrible in everything and leave feeling defeated and having to go to more stores. I couldn't have been more wrong!!! My sister and I worked with Frances. She was hysterical, honest, and literally the sole reason I ended up leaving with an amazing dress. I love Maggie Sottero so I picked out about 10 of her dresses, all ballgown or ballgown-ish styles because I figured that is what would look best on me. After having Frances help me into 3 of them, I had had enough with ballgowns! I barely let her zip them before I said "ugh no get this off me!" They all made me look huge! At this point I was feeling frustrated and I just looked at Frances and said "Can we just get rid of all these I picked and pull some from the pile you picked?!" She laughed and said she'd she was waiting for that. When she presented the first of her picks, I looked at her a bit skeptical. It was an A-line Maggie Sottero but all I was thinking was "I am a curvy size 12, there is no way I am going to look good in a fitted dress." I think Frances read my mind because she told me to just trust her and put the dress on. When she got me into it, I looked in the mirror and I was AMAZED! The dress looked beautiful and to my shock I actually looked great in it. We walked out to the mirrors and Frances came over with this sequined belt. She put it around my waist and I started tearing up. This was THE DRESS! I tried on 2 more of her picks, all amazingly beautiful but I ended up going with that original A line she'd pulled. I can't thank Frances enough for her expertise, sense of humor, and dress picking badassery. Bridals by Elena is a must!

Bridals by Elena is the absolute best! They never tried to make me go over budget, never tried to sell me something I didn't want, and helped me find the most perfect dress! Ms. Frances listed to what I was describing, and after watching my reaction to a few dresses I picked/tried on she pulled for me the most stunning gown. The alterations department made it fit like a glove, so much so I didn't even need it hemmed! Every time I went into the store, from my first appointment to Ms. Frances walking my dress out to my car with me I felt welcomed. Elena took part in every fitting and made sure that all of the work was done up to her standards. I'm so happy that I went here to find my dress, and I recommend that all other brides do the same!

You cannot find a better wedding dress boutique. Period. Elena and her team are the absolute best. Elena was with me every step of the way beginning from when I chose my dress. She picked out what ended up being my dress and was so far from what I thought I wanted before I began the process. It was absolutely breathtaking and she respected my budget (so important). I left Elena's after trying on my dress and went to other boutiques but returned to Elena's after realizing how great she is. Amazing bridal shop! Everything I wanted from this experience and more. The dresses offered here are absolutely beautiful with such great quality and the most beautiful styles similar to what you see in a magazine. I was pleased how the salon took such care of their dresses and did not let the brides to be step all over them or drag them across the floor. It was a very personal experience, tailored to your ideas of which type of dress is best for you on your big day. Frances was my consultant who was super helpful with what style of dress would best accentuate my body type. My top 2 favorites were her choices! I seriously cannot wait to wear my dress on the most important day of my life and will always refer future brides to this salon!
