    Every Bride's Dream

    After a horrific experience at another dress shop, I emailed these ladies. They promised to give me their most experienced consultant (however, after shopping with them, ANY of the ladies would have been fabulous). Very knowledgable and friendly staff. I felt comfortable and incredibly beautiful. It was a complete 180 from my first experience. After trying on a few dresses, I finally picked the one that was mine. To my surprise, it wasn't even close to what I had imagined I would be wearing. All of these ladies made me and my entourage feel so welcomed. We are returning for mother dresses in 2 weeks. 10/10 would recommend.

    If you live or visit Nebraska frequently enough to go gown shopping and get your alterations done, this is the place to be! It's a small town feel - they truly care for their customers and helped me find my dress! Alterations were perfect and they were so helpful!

    They were wonderful. They worked with me to make sure I had the perfect dress even though I wasn't looking at the most expensive dresses on the rack. The lady assigned to help me was not the only onewilli g to give advice and help me find me dream gown. She spend well beyond my apportionment time pulling dresses and listening to all of my feedback.

    I went on a Friday, which is probably best, as our group and another group were the only ones in there at the time. We called for an appointment, which is recommended and they had a sign welcoming our party. Micky was very helpful and patient. We are picking out dresses and then Micky suggested 2, which ended up to be my favorites. I decided on one and absolutely love it. Also, picked out the bridesmaids dresses, as they have a great selection of colors. Would recommended this place, but I'd suggest going on a weekday, because they said they are swamped on Saturdays.

    I really enjoyed shopping at this bridal shop! The women working here were very friendly and helpful and even offered to come in early to shop with me. I recommend this shop to anyone. Great experience!

    Bridal Isle is the hero of my wedding day!

    I was having a dress custom made by another company, and 3 weeks before the wedding I tried it on for the first time (I know, I know, no point in shaming me now). Guess what - it wasn't everything I dreamed it would be. I was absolutely heartbroken. But I took matters into my own hands and drove to bridal isle 22 days before my wedding.

    These ladies were so helpful and empathetic. We grabbed dresses of the rack left and right, with promises from all sides that they would find me my dress. And they DID! It was too big (but that's another review for another vendor - don't worry it got altered), but it made me feel like a movie star! They set me up with a veil and a belt and sent me on my merry way.

    Ladies - I can't tell you how grateful I am that you were there to rescue me that day! Thank you for everything you did for the sleep deprived, crying nurse that showed up on your doorstep!

    It was the last place we looked. After traveling to larger cities, and trying on over 150 dresses, i found my perfect dress in the smallest town and i love it! Not to mention great deals!

    They have so many beautiful dresses at very reasonable prices, with the service you find in a small town. I went to seven bridal stores, and ended up coming back to this one in the end! I had some special modifications that I wanted to make to my dress, and they were wonderful about working with me to get exactly what I was hoping for.

    This place is amazing, you wouldn't think a small town would have such an amazing store with tons of dresses to choose from. The people that work there work to please their customers. I had to get my dress specially made because I was able to combine two dresses to get my dream dress! Thank you so much!

    I never thought I would find such an awesome store in the middle of rural Nebraska! I was moving out of state the following week, so I when I visited the store I knew I needed a dress within my budget that I could take home with me that day. There were 2 employee's working in the store and me, my mother, and my husband's mother were shopping together. They pulled out so many dresses within my size and budget. As I was trying on the dresses with one employee, the second one was listening to us talk about the dress and what I liked/didn't like about it. She would then keep bringing me more dresses based on what she heard. I must've tried on 30 dresses that day but ultimately, with the store's help, found the dress of my dreams!!

    Bridal Isle had a spectacular selection of gowns in all style and price ranges, which was key for me since I was looking for a less formal destination-style gown and was on a budget (you wouldn't believe how hard it was to find a decent selection of destination-style gowns!). With the patience and help of their professional staff, I was able to find the elegant but simple gown I was searching for, for a reasonable price, without getting a dress that looked or felt cheap. They provide personal service to you every step of the way, unlike many of the other shops I went to where they told you to grab the dresses you wanted to try out, get in the dressing room and get out so the next person could go, and you don't even have to call to make appointments to try on gowns. It's also a plus that alterations are provided at no extra cost if you order one of their gowns new. You don't get stuck with extra costs you didn't count on or couldn't foresee. Bridal Isle is a hidden gem in the small town of Loomis, Neb., and definitely the best choice for gown-shopping in central Nebraska, whether your budget is big or small.

    I loved my dress that I got from the bridal isle! However the lady got rude and impatient because I wasn't making up my mind fast enough on which dress I wanted...overall though, it is totally worth it!

    For such a small town in the middle of Nebraska, Loomis does have quite a lot to offer at relatively good prices. I was lucky and purchased my dress at 40% off when they had a sale.

    I had to go to three alteration appointments, which I did not and still do not understand as the second appointment was really pointless. During the second fitting, all that was done was to make sure that I was the same size as I was during the first fitting and that my shoes did not change. This was really disappointing as I thought that I would be able to take my dress home so I could have it a month before the wedding and not have to worry about it. Instead, I had to go the Wednesday before the wedding and pick up my finished dress. This would not have been a hassle if I lived in Loomis or surrounding area, but I lived in Omaha right before my wedding, so the 3 3 1/2 hour drives were not always that fun.

    I was also surprised by the $40 to have my dress professionally steamed. I assumed that this was covered under the $75 alteration fee, but I guess I was mistaken.

    These gals are great for a very traditional diva bride. There were LOTS of brides in the day I tried on dresses, and the sales women were much more concered about whose fitting room was whose and who got to look in the mirror first-well all were looking at each other saying "that's cute" or "I want to try that one on next". The only problem I did have with The Bridal Isle is they forgot to order some material we were using to make and expecting bridesmaid's dress. It matched the rest fine, but they tried to make it sound like it was somehow our fault it didn't get ordered when we even paid the 50% deposit on it. Make sure you go in 3-4 months before your wedding though for ALL the dresses....

    Overall the experience I had with Bridal Isle was pretty good. I absolutly loved my dress! I did have some issues with the alterations department. They were slow at getting one of my bridesmaid dresses altered (they ordered it about 6 sizes too big). This was also the only bridesmaid dress they had of my girls. The alterations lady was extremely rude to me and my bridesmaid. When I went there they had free alterations, but now they charge. Honestly, I would probably have rather paid someone else to alter my dress. The bustle was extremely hard to figure out and it came apart by the end of the night. Loved the dress...not so much on the service.

    I have been a loyal customer of the Bridal Isle for 20 years. Not anymore.

    The kind service stops as soon as there is a problem. They try to blame the customer and do not do anything to make it right. I will not be recommending them to anyone ever again. They are in the customer service business and they are handling the attire for one of the most important days of a woman's life. It is not supposed to be a stressful process. Remember brides: you are the customer, you are always right.

    Too bad Marie left. I hope they know how much it costs to lose a customer.

    I drove 90 minutes to visit the Bridal Isle for a mother of the groom dress...had heard wonderful things about the shop. I was shown to the dresses, given "directions" on how to find out information about each dress on the tag, and then was left alone. I looked at all the dresses, but never saw the sales lady again. I have one son and have never looked for a "mother of the groom" dress before and needed guidance. After between 15-20 minutes of getting no help, I decided if they weren't interested in helping me find a dress, I didn't need to stand around and wait any longer. There was only one other mother in the shop and one lady was finishing "pinning up" her dress for alteration. I don't know where the sales lady who showed me to the dresses went, but as I left (very disappointed) I saw her in the office area. After spending 90 minutes on the road and looking forward to the experience, I left empty-handed and very disappointed. Today, back in Grand Island, I went to shop at the Dress Barn. A very helpful lady (Lowla) met me shortly after I walked in the door, walked around the store with me showing me different things I might like to try on, asking me what I liked and didn't and walked me to the dressing room and checked on me occasionally to see if I needed help or anything else to try on. I found several outfits I liked and things I'd like to wear everyday so will be buying a number of things at Dress Barn. The only thing I can figure out is that I was not given attention because I wasn't going to be a "big sale." I hope the ladies who own The Bridal Aisle learn something from my experience at their shop! I sure did!
