User1249797 Sent on 03/29/2014Bridal Galleria is a great shop. I was so happy with their customer service. They don't have a huge selection because it is a small shop. I found my dress at another shop that had terrible service and decided to order it through Bridal Galleria. The staff is polite and flexible. They did my alterations for a very reasonable price and quickly. I was very impressed. -

They have the best selection of dresses in San Antonio too. But my consultant listened to my wants and needs and narrowed down the search. This is the place to buy your gown. 1879 -

Adele Sent on 09/09/2015I had a great experience at Bridal Galleria if Texas! I had found my dress while visiting one of the few positive bridal shops here in San Antonio, but I decided not to purchase it a at that boutique because it was way too early to make a final dress decision, 6 months too early. There were other reasons as well. However, 6 months later I decided that was my dress. I went to LA to take care of some things for the wedding and looked for my dress there. Found it, but I wasn't able to try it on or buy it there because I wouldn't be able to fly back for sittings. I found Bridal Galleria on the dress designer's website and decided to make an appointment to maybe chance they had the dress and maybe have it in bigger size, no such luck. I arrived at the store and it wasn't the biggest I've been to and the selection was not as plentiful as I've been privy too, but the gowns were good quality and beautiful. The consultant, Alma, helped me I try on a few dresses but nothing compared to "my dress". She didn't get frustrated or have an attitude because I wasn't liking anything and always comparing the two. I was done looking at that point. I asked the price of the dress, it was completely in my price point and considering I knew how much that dress cost back in LA, it was definitely a welcome surprise. I couldn't pay the deposit that day. When I can back a few weeks later Alma remembered me and my dress. That was a nice feeling. Also, I was able to meet the manager and took the time to clarify which dress I wanted to buy so that they not order the wrong gown. She also took my measurements. I like her, she was welcoming and attentive. She saw my height and was upfront about the added cost of needing extra length, no hidden fees. Lastly, they have a pretty good selection for bridesmaid dresses which I looked through and potentially found her dress too. Overall, my experience was great. I'm looking to finally seeing and trying on my dress. Blind faith. -

Bridal Galleria of Texas was simply the best service I have seen for wedding dress shopping. The ladies are so nice; they helped me pick my dream dress and give tips on color coordinating my bridesmaid's dress (which I also picked from here) and the groomsmen ties, even my bridal shoes. When I would call for status updates on my dress they were happy to help and responded quickly! -

Amazing experience
The bridal Galleria of Texas gave me not only the dress of my DREAMS but also gave my family and I the most amazing experience!! The moment we walked in we felt welcomed and the shop itself was so cute! I shared with my stylist what I was looking for and she pulled out about 6 dresses and every single one I tried on was exactly what I asked for and each one was beautiful. I highly recommend booking an appointment with them you will not regret it!! I will suggest this place to any bride! -

I highly recommend coming here to get your dress. I have been searching for a year for my dress and found it here. Lesley was so good at helping me be honest with myself and what I wanted and didn’t let me linger on dresses I was only ok with. Also, this is the first bridal shop that I fit in all the dresses they didn’t have to use so many pins to close it. It was so nice and refreshing to have sizes for curvy women to actually see how the dresses would look like. -

Sarah Sent on 12/14/2010Though I totally redesigned my wedding dress, I purchased the original Maggie Sottero in the Tabrett style from them.
11 and 1/2 yards of tea stained re-embroidered lace, tattered hand made flowers, and TONS of crystals and beads later, I took the already gorgeous Maggie and made it into something truly unique. I got SO many compliments on my dress and it was totally ME! -

The girl who helped me was a little quiet and didn't really HELP us at first other than putting me in the dresses, but after listening to my comments on the dresses that we (my mother, sister, and I) pulled to try on, she said she thought she knew exactly the dress for me, and she did! She pulled two, but the very first one she gave me to try on was THE ONE. She then found a veil that looked wonderful with the dress. The only reason I put a 4.5 instead of a 5 for Quality of Service is because of how the first appointment started off, but everyone was very nice for the rest of this year that I've worked with them.
The seamstress did amazing work on my dress! I had beaded cap sleeves turned into beaded halter straps, and they are absolutely beautiful and look like they came with the dress. I was told my dress would arrive in 6-8 months, but it only took 5. The alterations were also a very good price for the custom work they did plus the hemming and taking the dress in, and my dress was finished in a month (and this is only because I couldn't come back sooner). They worked with my schedule since I am from out of town for my fittings, and I couldn't ask for a more beautiful dress! -

Cristina Sent on 01/30/2008I purchased my wedding dress at this location after visiting several other bridal boutiques. As with many sales oriented businesses, there were pushy sales ladies who just wanted to make a sale, but there were also sales ladies that were very understanding, patient, not pushy and knew their stuff. The 2 ladies that I wound up working with did understand my budget and did not try to push other prices or styles on me that I was not interested in. I mainly dealt with Gloria during my purchasing and alteration period and I have to say she was amazing. Her professionalism and personality really made me comfortable and excited with the expensive purchase I had made. She maintained a high level of customer service after I bought my dress and even after my wedding was over when I had to take the dress back in to fix the zipper which had jammed on my wedding night.
I also purchased my bridesmaid dresses at this location and all were pleased with the outcome of the dresses and the service provided to them during the alteration period. -

I found my dress here. It ended up being the first example I showed them. Their estimate on when it would be ready to pick up was a bit off, they originally told me it'll be mid-November and instead it was the 2nd week of December. -

Shalaine Sent on 03/14/2009I went to the Bridal Galleria knowing what dress I wanted. They were willing to match the price of the dress to that of another store where I had tried on the dress but that was out-of-town. I worked with Judy, who was extremely professional and so nice. My only complaint is that the dress came in 2 months past their estimate date!!! Each day I called I was told it wouldn't be much longer, which after 2 months was very frustrating. However, the dress came in just in time and was beautiful. -

Although this shop gets very busy, they really accommodate you like you're the only one in the store! I am so excited to be getting the dress of my dreams! -

It's a convenient location and have a good selection but the customer service is so so and I think dress shopping should be a lot about customer experience. I love my dress and don't regret purchasing it but I have to be honest and felt that I had a better shopping experience at other bridal shops - they just didn't happen to have my dress. If I could give any advice to Bridal Galleria is to be more attentive to their brides. I feel like you all could have a great score if you would just go that extra mile to make the brides feel special no matter what their budget may be.
