Best experience ever! I was incredibly anxious about going to shop for a wedding dress and McKenna and the entire staff created the absolute best experience. McKenna was welcoming , kind, patient, encouraging and professional. She absolutely crushed the selections she brought me and made the decision process a breeze! Bridal Extraordinaire was my first appointment of the day and I walked away with my dream dress and was able to cancel my other appointments. I cannot recommend this boutique enough! Thank you McKenna for making my experience so great!

McKenna pulled the most beautiful dresses that were all within the budget I conveyed. The gowns are all top quality and worth every penny.

We Looked Amazing!

"I've gone to Caley as both a groomsmen and as a groom. I did a lot of shopping around for my weddig, but Bridal Extrorinare beat the rest. The suits were the best quality that I found and some of the most affordable compared to other large retailers. On top of this, Caley made the whole process very easy and guided me and my groomsment every step of the way. She handled all of the coordination and fittings for both in-town and out of town wedding party.

wouldn't have looked as amazing without them

Working with Bridal Extraordinaire to get my perfect wedding gown was a dream experience. I live and had my wedding in New York City, but I really wanted to share the fun experience of dress shopping with my mom and best friend in my hometown of Shawnee, KS. When I flew home for my first time out to look, my friend had come down with COVID and my mom and I had to head out alone. Feeling a little sorry for myself, Caley made me feel really special and brought a great selection of dresses to get me excited for the big day and put up with us having to Facetime the viewing experience for my sister to weigh in as well. Because I am very indecisive and always need to see what else is out there, I went to a few other places and tried on other things, but I would have saved tons of time and energy if I’d just gone with my first intuition. I called them that next week to go with a gown I never would have picked out on my own, but they really knew what would look fabulous on me and make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world on my special day. I ended up getting my veil and accessories with them when I went back for my final fitting. Great experience, great selection, great everything. I highly recommend it!

Dream dresses are here!

I went into BE thinking I had already found my dress at another shop; this visit was just to make sure I had found “the one.” I had no expectations, but surprise surprise — I ended up finding my dream dress here! I worked with two consultants, both of whom were extremely knowledgeable and kind, and made me feel gorgeous and hyped them whole time! Even after buying the dress, BE was extremely easy to work with, and made the whole process of storing the dress, sending it off for alterations, etc etc etc SO EASY! They took the guesswork and stress out of everything, and my Mom and I are both so grateful for that! If you’re still looking for your dress, please do yourself a favor and head to BE! You never know, your dream dress might be hiding here, just like mine was!

Bridal Extraordinaire

I absolutely loved my experience with Bridal Extraordinaire! From my first appointment, up until my wedding week, they were an absolute pleasure to work with! Colleen, my stylist, helped me find the perfect dress on my first appointment with them. She helped me find my vision of what I was wanting, was respectful of my budget and helped me with a customization on my gown that ended up being absolutely perfect! Colleen and all of the other staff at BE are so kind, energetic and make wedding dress shopping such a fun experience. I also got my alterations done with Tae, who was one of the tailors that BE recommended. Tae could not have done a better job on my dress! It was a tight fitting gown with a very particular fabric type and she tailored it to fit like a glove. I do not have enough good things to say about the BE team and Tae!

Amazing! Made the whole wedding dress experience one to always remember!

More Than I Imagined

I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been to other bridal appointments with friends and family, but nothing compared to what I experienced at Bridal Extraordinaire during my VIP appointment. We were greeted at the front desk and promptly escorted to our very own private room. Not only did we have the entire store to ourselves, but there was champagne and a tray full of yummy snacks. My consultant listened to exactly what I was looking for and pulled all the right dresses. It made the decision hard because they were all so beautiful, but eventually said YES to the perfect dress! I already felt so special with all of the attention to detail, but my friends and family who joined me for the appointment could not stop raving about how incredible it was also. We all agreed it was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced and something we will never forget. Thank you Bridal Extraordinaire for making this once-in-a-lifetime day, one to remember.

The experience at BE was amazing! With very little instruction they were able to pull some great options for me and help me find my perfect dress. It was a great experience for me, my mom and one of my bridesmaids and I would recommend going here to anyone. They clearly know what they are doing and the set up lets each bride have their own private experience. This place is amazing.

You had me at hello!

I had a horrific experience with Nolte Bridal and I turned to BE to save the Big Day! I had heard of so many women getting their dresses from Bridal Extraordinaire yet I didn’t fully know what I was walking into when I made my appointment. When I recognized Whitney Welsh I was overjoyed with happiness. I know she is a remarkable stylist and didn’t realize she was now running this business. Instantly I was put at ease. Her team curated a remarkable set of dresses for me. I was under a time crunch and they were able to get me a Pronovias gown (my dream designer!) in less than 41 days. They were so easy to work with, I felt comfortable and they went out of their way to make sure I had great options even under the time restraint. I can’t say enough good things about the people and the dress selection here. She made recommendations for where I could get my gown hemmed, suggested two vails (so I could wear a shorter one the whole night), found me the best earrings to match and made it all the dress of my dreams. Again Whitney and her team of experts is hands down the best bridal boutique in Kansas City!

The place to find the dress of your dreams!

Working with Bridal Extraordinaire was easy and made wedding dress shopping fun! As I'm guessing many MOB and brides are, we were pretty clueless about how to go about finding the perfect wedding dress. The professionals at BE were so helpful, patient and fun at our bridal appointment. We ended up needing to come back later in the day and again the next day to make triple sure the BE dress was the one and they were accommodating and always made us feel so welcome. No one pushed us to purchase a more expensive dress than the budget we gave which we really appreciated. My daughter came away with a beautiful dress that she couldn't want to wear & we had a wonderful experience with Bridal Extraordinaire!

Found the perfect dress in my size

Bridal Extraordinaire was my last stop, and I’m so glad it was, so I could compare it to my other experiences. The woman helping me was great. Listened to what I wanted and threw in some surprises too. The room was comfortable and everyone was nice. I was scared I wouldn’t fit in any of the dresses, but they had lots of options. Most importantly, I found a dress that fit my personality and my budget. :)

Would come back.

I have nothing but good things to say about the experience! I honestly came in with another dress “to beat” and boy did they beat it! They were thoughtful, great at listening to instructions, and very nice! Honestly though, the cherry on top of the cake was the fact that a trunk show was going and a design from the label was directly helping ME with my decisions. On her first pick, picked something that I LOVED and looked AMAZING one me. I went in with a different designer in mind but would recommend to anyone as part of their day!

My perfect dress

I went to BE looking for an Enzoani dress. I had tried on a couple but fell in love with the McKinley...however, it wasn’t THE dress. I wanted a different look to the top while keeping the train and bottom. The owner of BE came in to the appointment, listened to my thoughts, then personally walked the dress down the block to their preferred wedding alteration team. She relayed my thoughts and got the OK that the dress could become THE dress. I would not have bought the dress if she didn’t go above and beyond to make my dress the perfect dress. The dress came back on time and was amazing. BE also packed my dress for my destination wedding and it traveled flawlessly!

I cannot say enough good things about Bridal Extraordinaire! This was the 4th place I went dress shopping. I worked with Taylor who was SO nice. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but she brought me different dresses until we found the perfect dress! She was so patient and fun while also respecting our budget. She was not pushy at all, which made the whole experience so great. After I picked the dress, she brought us champagne and let us hang out as long as we wanted. This was one of my favorite memories of wedding planning! Lastly, I did a destination wedding, and BE offered to wrap and pack my dress in a carry on for me. It took stress off me the week of the wedding, and my dress barely had to be steamed when we got to the location!

I loved this bridal salon!! I loved the ladies that helped me choose a dress and a veil. I loved the charm of their shop, and the different styles and designers that they carried. I lived out of town, and they called me and updated me several times with the status of my items. They were fabulous. I was so pleased with my experience with Bridal Extraordinaire. My appointment went so smoothly and I was waited on hand and foot. They also accommodated my large party of family that wanted to be there. I had three other appointments that day and I ended up canceling them all and chose my dress from there! The women there that picked out the dresses I would try on got me out of my comfort zone and I ended up choosing a strapless dress that I never thought I would love. Everyone was so positive and yet really honest. My dress was very well priced and I also got my veil from there as well. Seriously my dress fit my personality and the theme of my wedding beautifully. They also let me come back multiple times to use the sample dress to pick my jewelry and shoes. Bridal Extraordinaire was a dream to work with and I am still so in love with my dress. I felt like a princess wearing it and I would highly recommend at least making an appointment with them when looking for a bridal gown!

I’m so glad we decided to visit this shop! Whitney has amazing taste and has curated a beautiful store. She picked out a lot of beautiful dresses in my price range for me to try and I fell in love with one of them easily. Bizi helped us look at bridesmaids dresses and got our tuxes all worked out and was a huge help. When one of our groomsmen ordered a weird size pant, she preemptively ordered another one for us to ensure we got the fit right. I couldn’t recommend Bridal Extraordinaire highly enough. They turned an experience that can often be stressful and high pressure into something really fun and enjoyable.

Whitney, Bizy and the whole team at Bridal Extraordinaire was just fabulous to work with. I had been to 3 other bridal salons prior to coming here and almost all of them were nightmares....I couldnt find anything I liked, the people who worked there were awful, and on and on. I didnt even want to go try on any other dresses, but had a friend tell me about Bridal Extraordinaire - I am so glad I checked them out. I literally loved every dress I tried on, they were not pushy at all, and just kept bringing in more and more dresses until I had narrowed them down to my favorites. The girls who work there were always incredibly welcoming and extremely helpful - it is obvious they love what they do and truly care that their customers find a dress of their dreams. Don't waste your time going to other bridal studios, just go here!

I purchased my dress from the original Bridal Extraordinaire owners and my veil from the new owners. Both were amazing - I appreciated that when the original owners had decided to retire they were beyond accommodating to make sure that everything was still taken care of as well as the new owners ensured that our timeline was still met since they'd just finished renovations etc. I was incredibly happy with ALL of the service I received and feel the new owners and staff are definitely carrying on the legacy that the name carries in the community! Thank you all for making me feel like a trillion dollars on my wedding day!

Just had the best experience at Bridal Extrordinaire!! The shop is so cute and the staff so much fun!! Each bride gets a private suite for your entire entourage! We had 6 people with us and we worried we would be cramped, but they were so accommodating and made us feel very welcomed!!

They had an amazing selection of dresses and listened to everything that I needed. I was a lil worried/nervous about trying on dresses, but my consultant Whitney made me feel so comfortable and helped guide me through the process- since I had no idea what style I wanted! Can't say enough good things about this boutique!!

My dress was gorgeous! They can be pricey, but the owner was my consultant and really listened to what I wanted. My grandmother had a medical esisode when I was shopping with my mother and they scheduled me another appointment to work with my schedule. They were very helpful and understanding. They listened to exactly what I wanted and even surprised me with some dresses I was shocked that I loved.

They definitely know what they are doing there!

It was very easy to set up an appointment. They had a wide variety of availabilities and were very flexible with my schedule and the number of guests in my party. They communicated all needs/costs surrounding my wedding dress purchase. The consultant that I worked with was EXTREMELY kind. She made sure to make the experience very special for me and my group. I could not have picked a better place or better people to work with in the wedding preparation process! I met with Jenn when I came in with two bridesmaids to look for my dress. I had visited two previous stores and wasn't feeling like I was going to find my dress that day. Not having a huge budget seemed to hurt me at the other stores. The entire process was so wonderful and I felt so special! Jenn brought us into a private room and asked me the perfect questions to find my dream dress. The first dress I tired on was the one I came in looking for, turned out to not be my dream. But Jenn seemed to figure me out so well, the second dress I tried on was her first pick for me and it was THE ONE! She stayed well within my budget with no problem! Bridal Extraordinaire was the first place I went to look for bridal gowns and they made me feel very special and comfortable while we talked through what I was looking for. I wasn't sure on what style I wanted, so they were very patient and helped me narrow down what I liked. They have quite a large selection of designers and the consultants are very knowledgeable. I didn't end up buying my gown on the first day, but did return to try on a few more options and selected my gown! It came in way ahead of schedule. I also decided to have the steam package and would I would definitely recommend this! I bought my veil and hair piece here as well!

For my bridesmaid dresses, we ended up booking through a cheaper boutique that a couple of my friend's had used for their weddings. Although my friends had no issues with ordering their bridesmaid dresses through this other boutique, they ended up shutting down and not fulfilling orders about 3 months before my wedding. I called Bridal Extraordinaire right away and they helped save the day by calling their contacts that they had at the designer. The designer did have our bridesmaid dress order, but hadn't been paid. Bridal Extraordinaire helped us get everything straightened out and the dresses were shipped to the store within a week. What could have been a devastating situation, Bridal Extraordinaire went above and beyond to help me!

You have a huge room to yourself for the appointment, it made me so comfortable to be able to come out in all the dresses. I fell in love with the Ian Stewart "Atlantis" gown during one of my first visits to a bridal boutique in the Washington DC area. And after a horrid experience at the store, I decided I wasn't going to make my purchase through them. Instead, I contacted every Ian Stewart authorized dealer in the US, UK and Canada (no lie!) to find the dress in my price range. Enter Andrea from Bridal Extraordinaire!

Andrea was INCREDIBLE. As one of the first US-based authorized Ian Stewart dealers, Andrea was willing to help me with my purchase even though I was states away. Some might think this is a big risk, but Andrea made every moment feel comfortable. She placed the order early, knowing this designer takes a longer-than-needed time. And when my dress got stuck in customs just days prior to my first fitting, she pulled some strings directly with the designer to get it released to me so I'd have it in time. She truly bent over backwards to make my dream come true.

Honestly, if you find your dream dress but experiencing a lackluster service from your area boutique, call Bridal Extraordinaire and work with them!! They operate how ALL bridal salons should be with their brides.

I has an appointment with Jennifer to find my dress. She was very patient and helpful. After trying on a couple dresses, she was able to pick up on what I liked and didn't like. My last dress of the day had all my likes and was perfect! She is very attentive!

I also met with multiple other members of the BE team, who helped me find a sash, try on my dress and answer any question I had. Great place to find your dress!

I had such a WONDERFUL experience! We actually won our wedding and had to pick from the rack because we didn't have time to order a gown. There was such a variety of high quality gowns to choose from. I can't wait to wear mine in August! Their new Prairiefire location is beautiful.

She, like the rest of her staff, was wonderful and so easy to work with. They were straightforward with me and worked with my budget and at no point did I feel pressured to purchase anything.

I cannot say how amazing our experience was at Bridal Extraordinaire! I was nervous to go dress shopping because we had less than 6 months to go before our wedding day and every place I had called had said they might not be able to get me a dress in time for our day. Talk about stress!!! Our stylist, Andrea, was amazing. I showed her some pictures of what I was envisioning and she ran with it. She took everything I was looking for and somehow put it into one perfect dress for me! And to top it off they let us take the floor sample for a 30% discount even though i was a little big. If we would have ordered it new we would have gotten it in about 2 weeks before our wedding. So thankful for their flexibility. Seriously, go find your dress here. You will not be disappointed!

We had the best experience at bridal extraordinaire! After showing them a slideshow of dresses that I loved, they nailed it with the first dress! I tried on others, but I went back to the first dress! The fittings went well, and the steam package was definitely worth it. I came back in because my belt had wrinkles in it and they steamed it our right away and it looked perfect! The men in our wedding party got their tuxes there as well and they looked amazing! Even with some problems with sizing, everything was worked out by the wedding day, and they looked great! Thank you!

I chose to purchase my wedding dress from Bridal Extraordinaire for my August 11, 2012 wedding and it was perfect! Wonderful experience with Bridal Extraordinaire. You tell them a style that you have in mind and they will pull a few dresses in that style and dresses in a couple similar styles so you have a good variety to try on and then narrow down what exactly you're looking for from there. I was initially apprehensive about dress shopping, thinking that I might have to go to a few different places, but BE was my first and only stop. They have a friendly, helpful staff and a vast selection of dresses to choose from. I eventually got my bridal jewelry from there too. Would recommend to any bride.

I was recommend to Bridal Extraordinaire by my sister-in-law who found her dress here while shopping for a wedding gown with her best friend. I had looked other places, but this was by far the best place! They found out my now husband was deployed when I found my dress so they gave me a 15% discount on top of the $200 off a dress if you find and buy that day. They found my dress tucked in the corner just as I was about to up my price point. They were amazing and I tell everyone about this place!!

Vicki and her team are very helpful and fun, and the selection was wonderful. As a plus size bride, it was hard to find a nice variety of dresses in my size to try on (most places think 20 is big enough for anyone plus sized :( ) but Bridal Extraordinaire had a lot of dresses for me to try and I absolutely had a great time.

I might be a bit biased, but my dress was the most beautiful dress I have ever seen! Thanks to Bridal Extraordinaire and their team I had a great experience while dress shopping. They really listened to what I was looking for and I didn't feel as though I was getting pressured to buy which was great! I absolutely loved the entire experience!

The only drawback was when it came to the bridesmaids dresses. When the dresses were ready to be picked up they called me and expected me to inform all my girls rather than dealing with the girls directly. I just felt like it put more on my plate when it could have easily been handled with each individual girl..

I definitely recommend looking to BE to find your dream gown, they have such a beautiful selection and really make you feel special whenever you go in there!

Ok where to start... The dress was the first thing I was looking for. I'm a curvy girl and not a typical sample size so our trip to KC to try in dresses had me discouraged until we came here. There's an entire giant room full of beautiful gowns for sizes like 12-30 I'm pretty sure. The girl that helped me made me feel special not just a "plus size" bride but just a normal bride. The manager even came and asked me what I thought about the dress selection because they were going to market soon. It's just nice to feel like you matter on your wedding day and I found my dream dress and felt stunning on my wedding day thanks to them!

Lydia with BE was amazing at helping me select the perfect dress for my big day. In just a few minutes she was able to bring 5 dresses to try, I narrowed it down to two and choose between those. She has an impeccable ability to pinpoint what it is you're looking for and provide.

My bridesmaids dresses came from BE as well and I loved their dress so much I want to buy one for myself. The service and timeliness was fantastic and I would recommend BE as the place to find a wedding dress.

I got my dress here first and the experience kept getting better! We ended up ordering all the bridesmaids dresses and the tux rentals from here as well. One of the stylists, Megan (among many others!), was incredible. She stuck with my price point and worked with me to meet my dress dreams! Then we received 10% off on all other orders for the wedding party.
Also, offer to pay cash and you can save even more!

Went to a few different places in the KC area and BE was by far my best experience with the largets selection. Prices were very reasonable as well (for what I tried on). My dress, in my opinion could have easily been $1,500 more than the price tag on it and would have been worth it. Each bride gets their own room with a comfortable couch for family and friends. All in all, the best place in KC to get your dress.

Everything at BE was AMAZING!!! Everytime I went in they staff was so kind and helpful. From my first appointment, everything went smoothly. I loved every dress they pulled for me and found the perfect dress. I was able to do my fittings/alterations in the store which made things very easy. They storage and steaming of my dress was perfect. We also got the bridesmaids' dresses from BE. They were perfect. They made it simple for each of the girls to get their measurements in and payment made. This was big for me because my five bridesmaids were all in different cities.

I didn't have much time to find a wedding dress (5 months) and wasn't aware of how much time it takes to order a dress. After trying on several dresses I found "mine" and fell in love. I placed the order, thinking all was well, and then I received a call that it wouldn't be able to be shipping in time for safe arrival. I was sad and started stressing a bit , but Andrea at Bridal Extraordinaire was amazing!!! She talked with her manager and they allowed me to buy the sample dress and I only needed a little alteration to make the dress work for me! I was VERY happy with the outcome and my whole experience. :-)

I had gone wedding dress shopping elsewhere, and thought I had found "THE dress". I had an appointment at Bridal Extraordinaire though, so I went just for fun. I had been before because my sister got her wedding dress there, but I just didn't think I would find anything that beat the other dress I had fount.
I was very wrong! Every dress I tried on was so much better than anywhere else I had looked. There is just a higher quality of dresses at Bridal Extraordinaire, and I don't know why anyone would shop anywhere else!
I told them my price limit, and they worked with me so well! They told me to not look at the price tags of the dress because they would only let me try on dresses I could afford. It was so nice to know that I wouldn't have to not get my dream dress just because it was too expensive.
I have recommended Bridal Extraordinaire to many of my friends, and they have loved it just as much as I did! You cannot go wrong by going here! It is such a great experience, and you won't be sorry you went!

I made several appointments when I went home to Kansas to find a wedding dress, but I was most excited about this one. My sister bought her wedding dress here in 2005 and she looked lovely. I couldn't wait for my own appointment.

When I got there, my consultant, Megan, took time to talk and listen to my ideas. She also asked questions that helped her understand me as a person. She brought some great choices that looked just like I asked, but she also brought some wild cards based off my personality. Guess what? I went with something I never expected, but it ended up being everything I ever wanted!

This place was professional and Megan also handled the "dressing" portion very respectfully. I never felt embarrassed or uncomfortable. This place is HIGHLY recommended!

I found not only my dress at Bridal Extraordinaire, but my sister's as well. They offered us 20% as a sibling discount, since she had purchased her dress there 2 years ago. Our consultant was great and was actually getting married on the same day as I was. Stand firm on your budget, they really do have something in every price range. This is as close to Klienfelds as you'll get in KC. A great experience.

I bought my beautiful La Sposa wedding dress from Bridal Extraordinaire and they were nothing short of spectacular. I truly enjoyed my consultant Jennifer, who even though I hadn't asked for anything close to what I bought was able to go with the flow and pull the perfect dress for me. They were also very easy to work with throughout the storage process and my dress was ready the day of, perfectly steamed and ready for me. They were wonderful in every way!

Bridal Extraordinaire is not you ordinary wedding dress shop. The women are very good at pulling the dress from the back that you have only dreamed of. This shop is amazing so it would be best to call ahead and make an appointment. Everyone should go there for the exceptional treatment they give. This boutique is lovely! I felt like I had my own bridal attire consultant.The price was perfect for our budget, and was well worth it. This was an absolutely wonderful experience! Every member of the staff was so nice and attentive. They were very welcoming and accepting of my fiance being in the room to weigh in on the dresses (unlike many of the other stores I went to in the KC area). Even members of the staff who did not work with me directly at my first appointment remembered me when I came back for subsequent visits.
On my first appointment we had a quick chat about the wedding and within 5 minutes I had a room full of dresses that were all serious contenders for "the one". Compared to the seven stores I visited prior to Bridal Extraordinare where I struggled to find even one dress that could even be a remote possibility during my appointment, this was a welcome change! They really listen to your vision for the wedding and are able to find the dress that fits into that vision. Not only do they listen, but they also make fabulous suggestions. The veil they picked for me, I never would have picked for myself, but I knew it was absolutely perfect as soon as they put it on my head. I am sure that my experience was not unique as every time I was in the store I saw many other brides just as thrilled as I was (and often in a drastically different style of dress!).
When the designer informed us that I would have to change fabrics to get the extra length I ordered (I'm a tall lady!) and even with the fabric change it might not be long enough, the store offered to pay for the fabric change. They also said that if it didn't work when I came in for the fitting I wouldn't have to pay for the dress and I could get a new one that did work! Fortunately everything turned out beautifully and I didn't have to find a new dress, but I know that if I had needed to start over with a new dress Bridal Extraodinaire would have saved the day!

I had a great experience and would recommend this to any bride. I had appointments to shop at three other places. Bridal Extraordinaire was my first and last stop. I found the dress of my dreams on my first visit! The staff was very nice and helpful. They made great suggestions...the dress I fell in love with wasn't anything like what I had planned on. So don't be afraid to ask for suggestions...they are the experts. I would suggest going on a week night though it's just calmer and you can get the attention you deserve. They also have an amazing selection of bridesmaid dresses. I had some bad experiences at other stores while searching for bridal party attire, but BE came to the rescue. They have dresses for every budget. It's an important choice and I wouldn't waste your time at the massive bridal retails stores where you feel like a number. My experience here was great and I have a few other friends that also used BE for their dress and had the same great things to say.

There are no words for how incredible Bridal Extraordinaire is. I had disaster strike with my dress and was left looking for a new one with just 30 days before my wedding. I got my dress on sale for half off. At the end of the day they still had wonderful selections to choose from. Bought the second dress I tried on for half off. Also found a flower girl dress to match for $30. Can't beat those deals!

I had a great experience at Bridal Extraordinaire. Prior to going there, I had been to David's Bridal. The dress selection for cheaper dresses was much better at David's but the service was terrible. It's true when they say you get what you pay for. From the moment I walked in to try on dresses I had a full service experience at BE. I went back twice after that to bring different people and I was never once pressured to make a decision. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to use their accessories. Don't make this shop your last stop - make it your first and save yourself a bunch of time!

Wonderful! This was one of the best experiences of planning. They were all so excited -- communication was great and they made finding my dress a very fun experience. I ended up purchasing a dress that was one of their floor models that designer had since gone out of business so they needed to sell the model. They gave us a great deal and it fit perfectly.

They were so helpful! When I came, I wanted a dress that they didn't have, but they got a hold of the designer and ordered it for me. They made us feel right at home and helped pull my wedding together! We not only got my wedding dress there, we also got the tuxedos there as well. Every time I went in there were very attentive and helpful, I even went back twice in one day to retry on a dress and they fit me in even though it was a Saturday and they were very busy. My dress was gorgeous, it came in early, they did a great job steaming it for the event and everything. My sister also bought her dress there a few months later because of the great experience I had. She has also been very pleased with everything they've done for her. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

We also ordered our tuxes from BE. Many of them did not fit and they were very helpful and accommodating with these changes. (most of the measurements came from other stores, out of state, etc.) They even gave us a couple extra jackets to take with us for people who could not try on their tuxes before the day of the event.

They treat you like a princess when you shop there! They have dresses from 800 to 10,000 so you're sure to find something in your price range. You get your own dressing room with couches for your guests to sit on and wait, your own stage, full length mirrors, and special lighting. With all the accessories they have their, you can try on veils, shoes, jewelry and get an idea of exactly how your dress will look on the big day and piece together your entire outfit. They are so personal and you'll get a worker just to yourself so you'll have all her attention. The tux prices and bridesmaid dresses are to die for especially if you buy your gown there because you get a discount. Our groom and ring bearer got their tuxes for free because we rented so many tuxes! They were absolutely wonderful and I'd never shop anywhere else.

When I fell in love with a dress that was outside of my price range, they reduced the price to what I could afford! They really understand how a bride's expectations and dreams about her wedding have so much to do with what she wears down the aisle! The dress was perfect, the alterations were perfect and they made sure the price was perfect!

I LOVED my bridal salon. I loved it so much that one of my best friends is following my lead. They truly are a full service bridal salon, I got my dress there, my shoes there, my veil there, the tuxedos there, the bridesmaid dresses there. The perk is because I got my dress there the groomsmen and bridesmaids got a discount off their dresses and tuxes! How cool right? I would reccommend them to everyone. They are so professional and knowledgeable you feel like you are truly taken care of. Everything was on time and perfect!

Bridal extraodiniare was a very nice experience to get my wedding dress. You make an appointment and you'll get your own personal helper who really knows what they are talking about. You can tell them what style you want, what your price range is and they will definitely work with you to find the PERFECT dress. They also have jewelry, shoes, designer bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dresses, and mother's dresses. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone. For the wedding dress i would expect to spend $500 or more.

Bridal Extraordinaire was awesome to work with. We had no issues with picking out the bridesmaid dresses, ordering the dresses or picking up the dresses. The staff made me and my bridesmaids comfortable as they tried on dress after dress...their selection is amazing! There is a wide range of prices to work with and most dresses can be ordered in any color you need. Ordering was easy and my bridesmaids had no problem picking up the dresses. The dresses came in PERFECT condition. They were on time and beautiful!!! Wonderful service and hospitality. Would recommend to anybody.

I loved the service I received at Bridal Extraordinaire! Jenn was my bridal consultant and was very friendly and easy to work with. She took all of my wants and needs to heart. The first dress I tried on was the dress I ended up choosing! It was perfect! I also bought my veil and a belt from BE. I paid the extra $80.00 for the steam and storage package. It was very nice to not have to worry about my dress once it came in. BE even delivered it to the alterations place and picked it up for the final steam. I would highly recommend Bridal Extraordinaire!

Bridal Extraordinaire was amazing! We got my wedding dress from them which was stunning for less than $1,000! I thought it would be way more than that for a brand new wedding dress. We also ended up getting my veil and hair piece from them. They had such great viewing rooms and attendants while trying on. they also recommended the best person for my dress alterations over at Bridal Design. They brought it there and back for us and we got the steam package which worked out very well.
Overall I would definitely buy my dress from them again.

It is a great experience to try dresses on here! You are given your own personal room with a nice big couch for your entourage to sit on and your own attendant to help you. You tell her what styles you like and other things and they pull the dresses for you. I didn't end up purchasing my dress here but the one I found there was in my top 2. They really worked with me on the prices of the gowns and only brought things out that were in my price range....not above it. Very friendly staff!

My fiance and I found this boutique on Google after we tried to go to different place to get his tuxedo rental therefore we didn't have an appointment before stopping by. Jim was the one that helped us out and he was so accommodating and helpful! We knew exactly what we wanted and he showed us other examples as well as give us his own advice. He also customized our orders and gave a us discount since we didn't need everything that came with the tuxedo rental. His rates are amazing as it is but on top of the discounts, I was stunned at the prices. My fiance is super happy with his tux's and I'm super happy with the prices! We also got in and out in about 30 minutes which was great! Thank you Jim!!!

I feel in love with one of the first dresses I tried on. I think that was because my consultant really listened to me and what I wanted and even helped me figure out what I didn't even know I wanted. I was so easy! My only complaint is that once my dress came in it was rather difficult to schedule a time to come pick it up, but I would still definitely recommend!

My husband and I are renewing our vows. I am plus size and I was hard pressed to find a lot oa dresses to try on at most of the upscale shops. I found several dresses at BE. We found a Justin Alexander that looks great on curvy women. As the sample size did not fit me well, one of the staff modeled it for us. Not once but a second time when we went back to see about jackets! We spent over an hour having the model show us this jacket and that was we discussed how we could make my vision of our day work the best. The service was wonderful. My dress came in two months before it was promised. Members of my family were not up to walking up all the stairs so they put us in the room on the main floor. Thank you! I love that they worked with us. I bought extra embellishments and buttons, those also came in before the date promised! I spent a good deal of time talking to people from the store at the bridal shows. They have always been open and interested in being of service. Plus I got bridal bucks off the wonderful tiara! I love BE! Thank you all.

I think I have already written a review, but here's another. I loved my dress! I got so many compliments on it, and I would not have picked a better place in the KC area to shop! The ladies were friendly and responsive, and fairly easy to get a hold of. They were available right before the wedding and were very prompt and helpful with directions on handling and care. The woman who helped me try on my dress listened to me and helped me find styles that matched with my taste so well, it was extremely hard to choose just one dress! I love their dresses, and they work within a very broad price range. Definately suggesting to others!

Jana at Bridal Extraordinaire was my consultant that helped me find my wedding dress. She was great! I had been to a lot of other dress places and was unable to find the perfect dress. I was looking for a lace dress and I was having trouble finding a very big selection of them except for the vendors that sold Maggie Sottero. We had a brief conversation about what I was looking for and my budget. She brought me 3 dresses that were all very similar to what I had requested. I told her what I liked and didn't like about each, and she returned with 2 more dresses (one of them being the one I purchased). She listened very well and brought the exact dresses I was looking for. She even brought in a belt/sash to put with it which I ended up purchasing also. When my dress came in, I went to pick it up and try on accessories. She suggested a veil that I would have never even tried on and I fell in love with it. I received so many complements on my dress and I do not have one regret about my selection.

My only complaint about Bridal Extraordinaire's service is with the bridesmaids dresses. They were not taking reservations at the time that I took my bridesmaids, so I took my 6 bridesmaid in on a Saturday without an appointment. When another wedding party arrived to try on bridesmaids dresses, the consultant helping us (not Jana) told us that all 6 of my bridesmaids would have to move from the 3 dressing rooms that we were sharing to just 1 dressing room that only 2 people could fit in at once. We ended up not purchasing the bridesmaids dresses here, but it was due to selecting a brand that Bridal Extraordinaire did not carry.

I came to Bridal Extraordinaire in quite a pickle. I was two months out from my wedding with a dress that just wasn't going to work. I had spent a large amount of my budget on it, and it was unreturnable. The ladies at BE immediately helped me feel calm and reassured that they would have the dress for me. My mother and I sat in one of their nicely decorated dressing parlors as they brought out dresses that were floor models, so not only could I get them at a price within my budget, I could take it with me the same day. The consultant listened to me carefully and paid attention to what I was looking for, and the 2nd gown she pulled ended up being my perfect dress. The ladies were very kind and accommodating, and I would recommend them to any bride.
