I purchased my Matron of Honor/Mother of the Bride gown here. The gown was beautiful but needed a lot of alterations. I worked with Sharon and she was WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! Sharon, you made me look and feel beautiful in this gown. Your work was impeccable and the last minute alterations didn't cause you to miss a beat.

Kotsovos was my first stop when I was picking my wedding dress. I made an appointment, and went in with my mom and two of my bridesmaids. Anna was my bridal consultant, and she was wonderful! She listened to everything I was looking for, helped me find dresses that fit my description, and of course let my group and I pick some out too! After trying on only five (all beautiful) dresses, we decided on a stunning lace gown with an open back. I felt like there was something missing, so Anna suggested a belt. She helped me find the perfect ribbon to add to the dress as a mock belt, and it MADE the dress!
When my dress came in a few months later, I met with Jo in alterations. I can’t say enough good things about Jo. I ended up meeting with her a few times, because she wanted to make sure my gown was exactly what I wanted. She listened to all of the changes I wanted to make, including adding a vanity panel to the chest, and the ribbon belt. When she was done, you would have never known the dress didn’t come that way! After my second appointment where she showed me the bustle, I went home and realized I actually wanted a different style. I freaked out for a moment and called Jo back. She told me to come back and we would make it perfect. I truly appreciated the genuine care she showed.
Overall, my experience was wonderful. Everyone I interacted with made sure I was happy and satisfied. My dress was everything I could have asked for and more! I have received endless compliments from friends, family, strangers, and of course my new husband! I have already recommended Kotsovos to friends, and will continue to do so! -

I needed a mother of the groom dress and I'm short and curvy, so slinky styles didn't work but I didn't want to look matronly. Someone recommended I try Kotsovos and it was a fabulous decision! So many choices of styles and colors, and the ladies there could not have been more pleasant, helpful, or accommodating! They are very knowledgeable about what looks good on body types, what colors compliment skin tones and what is appropriate for a wedding party member that doesn't want to blend in OR stand out. I was a drop in and they were very busy but still made feel welcome and unhurried, and took the time to help me with a smile and enthusiasm. They even helped me to match the perfect jewelry to the dress. I'll NEVER shop elsewhere for formal wear! -

I ended up at Kotsovos on a whim as we were in Cincinnati to dress shop and had found nothing in the "Bridal District". We showed up without an appointment and one of the consultants happily took me upstairs to the bridal area. I ended up buying a dress that I had previously tried on elsewhere for $200 cheaper than the other store's price. The dress arrived fairly quickly and pickup was easy. Very happy with Kotsovos's services overall! -

Katie was great! Very personable, efficient, and professional. There was a gown from a designer they carried that I wanted to try on but they didn't carry that style number so they immediately called in to have a sample sent in for me to try on which came in a few business days. The entire staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. -

What a pleasant experience! I have a very short engagement and because of than have to buy off of the rack. Katie, the bridal manager, was wonderful at listening to what I was looking for in a dress and in what budget, and took me around dress by dress to help me find the perfect one. Best part - she's incredible honest about how the dresses look on! I'd highly recommend visiting them for your bridal needs. Thanks Katie! -

The first place I went to just didn't make me feel comfortable, and I felt so rushed, and like I was annoying them, but it was my first time putting on wedding dresses! Kotsovo's was so much more relaxed and personalized. I highly recommend Katie!! She really understood what I liked and didn't like and picked out amazing dresses for me. I loved my experience at Bridal by Kotsovos! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I went in having no idea what I wanted and my stylist had found me my perfect dress within the first 5 I tried on! It was an intimate experience as my party and I had the entire bridal department to ourselves. It was everything I could have imagined in dress shopping. -

I love that the bridal dresses are kept upstairs and it is a much more intimate experience. I had been to other bridal shops when shopping for my wedding dress that were really busy with many brides and associates running around. At Kotsovos I was able to be in the upstairs area with just my family that I brought along and the associate, making me feel much more comfortable with trying on dresses and that I had the associates full attention. -

Kotsovos was the absolute perfect place for me to get my wedding dress. The people there were professional, helpful, and kind. You could tell just by touching the gowns that the quality was excellent. I found my perfect dress and hairpiece to go with it, and it was even on sale! Definitely recommend them! -

I had a wonderful time at my bridal appointment at Kotsovos! Everyone was so nice and helpful. Kotsovos did a great job at providing the bridal experience. My appointment was on a weekend and I was the only person there trying on dresses. The store does that specifically so you can have that bridal experience! Other stores are mad houses with many girls sharing the same mirror. This experience was so calm and enjoyable. I found my gown and veil and couldn't be happier to have found it at Kotsovos! -

I purchased my wedding dress at Kotsovos with the help of Victoria. I was blown away by how helpful and kind she was. She was knowledgable and honest. I could not have decided upon a dress without her! The dresses at Kotsovos were beautiful and were of great quality. (I had been to multiple other shops around the city and the dresses at Kotsovos were incomparably superior.) I would recommend getting a dress at Kotsovos to any bride. -

I absolutely loved Shannon at Kotsovos. She had me fill out a survey on the type of dress I was looking for, and what I liked and didn't like in a dress. Then she looked for dresses that matched my style. It was a great experience. When I found "The dress," we popped some champagne to celebrate (I LOVED this part)! They also do in-house alterations, which makes it easy for the bride! -

Before going to Kotsovos I had gone to many places in the Reading Bridal District. Kotsovos was one of the first places to actually I feel focus on me and what I wanted. When I arrived I was running late because of traffic and my consultant had actually pulled dresses she thought I would like based off of what my Maid of Honor had told her on the phone. They also provided us with refreshments while we were trying on dresses. I felt that I had individual attention and felt special. Then, even when I wanted to think about it for the night, they wrote down my dress and scheduled another appointment for me. And the second time I came back I still felt and had the same experience. Everyone was supportive and super sweet and made picking my dress great experience. They were even willing to help me figure out some custom touches to add to my dress!! I can't say enough how great the whole experience was. -

Katie and Victoria were both so accmodating and helpful to me. I only had 1 month until my wedding date and I was feeling quite defeated, however they assured me we would find a beautiful gown and we did! I recently purchased my dress at Kotsovos, and I had an amazing experience. I worked with Gena, and she was incredibly helpful. I usually wear a size 16, and I was worried going in that I’d have a hard time finding something that was flattering but still lived up to my expectations. This was not an issue at all—Gena knew exactly what would look good on me and helped me find the perfect dress. She also made me very comfortable during those awkward trying-on moments; she talked the whole time and kept my attention on other things.
Kotsovos was the exact opposite of the bigger stores that I’ve experienced. When we got there, we were immediately greeted and invited to look around. There was one other bride there, but we weren’t in each other’s way and each had our own fitting room. After I decided on the dress, Gena brought us champagne and took pictures. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. The dresses were reasonably priced, and the experience was unparalleled.

Finding my wedding gown at Bridal by Kotsovos was an amazing experience and everything I hoped finding "the one" would be! I had a truly magical experience shopping for my wedding dress at Kotsovos. Starting with when I called to make an appointment, I was warmly greeted over the phone. They took 20 minutes to talk with me about what I was looking for, gave me advice about how wedding dresses are sized, how they fasten, and how to ensure I made the best decision without being overwhelmed. Every other dress shop I made an appointment with just wanted to make the appointment, and get me off the phone. My mom and matron of honor came with me to Kotsovos to try on a few dresses to get an idea of what I liked and didn't like. They greeted us with glasses of champagne when we walked in, Katie sat down with me and asked what fabrics and styles I liked, then put 7 to 10 dresses in the fitting room for me to try on. I ended up loving the 3rd dress I tried on, but was nervous to make such a big decision so quickly. I went to a few other dress shops in the bridal district of Reading, OH and had a drastically different experience. I wasn't greeted when I walked in, they forgot the appointments I'd made ahead of time, and they rushed me through the process. So I took my mom and a few of my other bridesmaids back to Kotsovos with me to try on that 3rd dress again, and they happily helped me even without having an appointment. All it took was trying that dress on one more time, and the decision was easy! They even toasted a glass of champagne with my mom, my bridesmaids and me. I couldn't be happier with my dress, the price and the superior service from Kotsovos. I would highly recommend them to all future brides! -

I bought my wedding dress and accessories at Kotsovos. It has a personal and intimate atmosphere that some of the other bridal boutiques did not have. They were knowledgable about fashion and selected dresses that were just right for me. I had a hard time picking just one! I would highly recommend shopping there for any special occasion. It was a very happy and exciting experience for me! -

I had the most amazing experience at Kotsovos! We didn't have an appointment so I wasn't sure if I would even be able to try on any dresses!
In a very short time Victoria started helping me try on dresses. She brought out dresses that I would never have thought of. She asked many questions to learn more about me. The dresses she picked for me were perfect! I truly found the perfect dress for me! She made the whole experience wonderful. I was truly overwhelmed when we first got there.

Kotsovos was by far the best experience we had the day I shopped for my wedding dress. I went to three places, and Kotsovos stood out completely. Victoria was amazing in helping me find dresses In the style was looking for, as well as encouraging me to try a dress outside of my "style" which ended up being everyone's favorite, even one of mine. She was so attentive and made all of us feel like nothing was more important that day, than finding my wedding dress. We absolutely loved it! The wish list they have online is such a great took, it allowed her to know my styles before I got there and she had pulled some of the dresses for me. -

The staff at Kotsovos was so great to work with! This was the first and only place my Mom and went to look for a dressing. When I was there I was the only bride at the salon and had their full attention and help. They also were great about working within my budget. Their seamstress did an amazing job with altering and pressing my dress. The day of it fit perfectly and I could not have been any happier with it! -

I am a very undecisive person so can you imagine how difficult it was to pick out my wedding dress, one of the most important things that I needed to pick out? When I first tried on my dress at Kotsovo's, I was not sure it would be the one. So, we left and after a couple more days of searching at other stores, I realized, nothing could compare to the one I tried on at Kotsovo's. We went back there and bought the dress! The lady that works there who is from Britain (that's the only thing I remember about her) was very nice a patient with me and my indecisiveness. She got an idea of what kind of style I was looking for and brought out all the dresses they had in that style, which made it easier for me to pick one. She gave true personal opinions not like most of the other girls do by just telling you you look great in every dress you try on, which we know cannot be true. I like the lady, she was very honest. I would recommend that you start looking for a wedding dress here, you will definitly be coming back after looking at other places :) -

What a great staff! This is truly a hidden gem in Cincinnati for brides. The selection is great, and the prices are unbeatable. I got my perfect designer dress off the rack at a steal of a price. I even got my hair accessory and belt there. Also, highly recommend the alterations there. Johanna is amazing!

I purchased my wedding dress, and my mom also purchased her mother of the bride dress here. Victoria was amazing in helping me find a dress....it was the first one she picked out for me. 20 of the wrong dresses later, and I said yes to the (first) dress! I can't stop staring at my wedding pictures, I just love the dress so much! It fit great, photographed beautifully, and maybe people are just feeding my ego, but I've been told multiple times that it was the prettiest wedding dress they had ever seen! Also, I bought a birdcage veil here-also picked out by Victoria. Alterations were great, and reasonably priced. Jo does the alterations and she is super sweet as well. I definitely recommend Kotsovos for your dress shopping, for the selection, price, and customer service. They were great. :-) -

I booked an appointment to try on bridal gowns. I had the fitting room all to myself and had privacy during the entire stay. Victoria was very friendly and helpful in selecting some gowns that would be appropriate for my destination wedding. She offered to neatly pack the dress before my flight. Kotsovos has their own seamstress who can only alter if the dress is bought there.
Overall, I had a very good experience at Kotsovos but did not find the kind of design and quality I was looking for. Dress selection is not huge but enough and very affordable! -

I bought a dress off of the rack but it was very beautiful and had an amazing price of 50% off! They had tons of beautiful dresses too! Jo, the alterations lady, did a great job with the alterations. I found them to be a tad expensive but I think that's the case with all bridal shops. Getting your alterations at the place where you bought the dress is definitely easier but you probably could find some place with better value. This is for any type of bridal shop. I absolutely loved my dress though, and you get champagne when you find your dress! Great customer service. -

Katie Sullivan, my design consultant, and Becca, who originally booked my appointment and assisted Katie, were both extremely knowledgeable, professional and supportive during my dress consultation. I was envisioning a very stressful and perhaps less organized approach and experience, but the entire experience was handled in a successful business like manner, where my requested budget, style interests and personal input was welcomed and translated seamlessly. I was able to find what I view as the perfect wedding dress after trying on only six total dresses and in roughly 1.5 hours of time, to my great relief! -

My consultant, Katie, was very sweet and knowledgable. I found two dresses that I loved, but had another appointment later that day at another store. I found my wedding dress at Kotsovos. It was easy to get an appointment, as they answered the phone right away (at other stores I had to leave messages and wait for a call back). I had the whole store and the consultant to myself and she helped me find dresses in my price range. I was impressed with the quality of even the lower priced dresses. After going to a couple local bridal shops, I found a myriad of dresses that I liked, but the atmosphere just threw me off. I wasn't really interested. My mom suggested going to Kotsovos, and so I figured why not. Boy am I glad I did!! Sandra is the absolute best! She had me in and out of dresses, knew how to cut through the BS, and got me into a dress that I loved for cheap! She wasn't the least bit pushy! I went back and got my dress after it came in 2 months early and she remembered me, my mom, my wedding date, without prompting. It's not the most glamorous of shops, but don't be fooled, they are FABULOUS! -

I went for an essense of australia trunk show. This was my first time trying on dresses , so maybe I was wrong to assume, but they only had about 3 of the dresses that I had picked out from the designer. I though during a trunk show they had all dresses available. Anyways, I found another dress from another designer that I loved. Their weddings dresses max out at $3,000, so it was nice with my budget to know that I could look at everything without having to worry that the dress would be out of my budget. -

The bridal consultant I worked with at Kotsovos was very helpful and assisted me in finding my dream wedding gown. She started off by asking me what I envisioned myself wearing and started to gather dresses from there. She even went to the extent of pulling brand-new gowns that arrived the night before that weren't even on display yet, because she knew I may have an interest in some of them. I appreciated this so much, and I in fact ended up purchasing one of these new gowns. They were very accommodating to my family and friends that I brought along, and were welcoming of any dress suggestions they had as well. The bridal consultant always kept in mind my concerns and frequently reiterated that the final say in the bridal gown was my own decision to make. I never felt rushed or pushed into buying. I am extremely impressed by the service I was provided at Kotsovos! I am an out-of-town bride, celebrating a wedding in 2 countries. I really wanted a dress from "home", so that my mom could be a part of the experience with me. They went above and beyond to help me get the dress I loved! Not only that, they had it altered within a week and I was able to have it in hand before I left town. They did all this while always keeping in mind my budget and needs. Our sales consultant Katie was very helpful and professional. She listened to my ideas and respected my budget while choosing dresses to try on, to include the perfect dress that I ended up with! I would definitely recommend Kotsovos to any other brides in the Cincinnati area! -

I really liked my experience at Kotsovos. The two owners are absolutely adorable and like most salespeople, said I looked great in every dress they happen to see me in but always agreed with me if I didn't like how I looked in the dress. They gave me a deal off of a veil when I bought the dress during my first appointment which helped me a ton for the type of veil I wanted. The disappointing factor of this shop is that the alterations department works Tuesdays through Thursdays. Being an out of town shopper, this is not helpful at all so I had to find someone else to do my alterations. -

The place was nice, but keep in mind its known for its furs. The bridal section is relatively small. My consultant figured out my style pretty quickly and I found my dress after trying on about 8-10 other ones. Only big complaint I have is that they did not bring out any champagne when I said "yes" to the dress. The woman that recommended the store to me said they do that for everyone. I guess not. Overall I love my dress and had a good experience. -

The saleswoman who helped me, Sandra, was bossy and pushy and did not allow me time to peruse the store and look at the all the dresses. It seemed as if she just wanted me to quickly choose a few dresses to try on and get me taken care of so she could be done. I did not feel relaxed or like this was the fun experience that it should be. -

They do not treat people of color with respect- will deny service
Unfortunately google, will not let me add a second review but only to add to the current one review I've made. Despite the fact I had two seperate visits to the store weeks apart both- I rate both A Negative 1 star.... This most recent encounter happened yesterday and the world needs to know how they are treating women of color in their establishment! I no longer give these store owners a piece of my mind while there in the store I just come here and let you- other potential customers know what's going on behind closed doors. They will never see me upset but they will definitely have to speak to the general public as to why I was treated the way I was while there attempting to shop and spend money.
To recap I made an apt early March for 2 dress fittings; separate days for the month of April. Earlier this month I took my mothers there to see what style dresses they liked. We were treated horribly but so that I don't reexplain it entirely read Visit 1 to see the details as well as the stores response LOL...it's terrible. After reading their reply, I assume when I booked this date and told her it was a day of shopping with my moms they expected us to only shop a specific area of dresses which are the ones upstairs. She didn't explain we would try on a "mother of the bride dresses" from that selection and that selection only, nor while we was there did they state this. My mothers never would wear any of the dresses that were upstairs and wanted to look through the prom dress selection so we did. I see the company did not address any of my other complaints such as the male store owner coming to our fitting room to take away dresses while we were undressing and making a nasty comment - They are very unprofessional and disrespectful there.... FAST FORWARD. Despite my horrible experience weeks earlier I had already scheduled for the second fitting and had told my bridesmaids who had taken the day off work, I decided to simply go again. We were simply looking hoping to gather ideas and to perhaps purchase dresses here if we found things of interest since my actual dress was bought there in the store last year. I kept the apt and was hopeful that this experience would be better. When I arrived yesterday Victoria attempted to deny me an appt stating the didn't have me down for an appt. I showed her my confirmation. Once she saw it, she suddenly remembered that they had cancelled my apt because of my google review last week and my statement to not return. With one of my bridesmaids there with me, I denied that was my review so that we may be serviced. LOL. She began to assist us. Due to covid restrictions my bridal party had to rotate in- one after another. By the 3rd bridesmaid they assumed we weren't purchasing dresses that day and all together stopped assisting us. At one point Tina came right on over and straight out asked, " So what was your purpose for coming here today?" and very rudely. My bridesmaids was disgusted and was not even interested in trying on dresses at some point. I can not tell you how many times Tina referred to us as gals, girls, kiddos. Despite my promise not not let these folks see me sweat, one more "kiddo" and she was going to get it! We all watched how helpful they were to others, I mean they were grabbing dresses, taking pictures all kinds of nice gestures to everyone in the store expect US. Our money is green and our cards are plastic. I am so over Kotsovos and if you my dear are reading this; SHOPPERS BEWARE! Especially if you are of color. This was my second experience in 2 weeks..even after my review and Victoria suspecting it was me they still were rude and disrespectful. They do not treat people of color with respect. As my friend mentioned to Tina, we have 3 wedding this year- We are spending money on dresses- they do not know what's on people cards but for some reason they assume black people don't purchase dresses- THEY MISSED OUT ON OURS!!!! THEY WILL NEVER GET OUR BUSINESS!!! If you hate bad customer service and perhaps is of color just DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. -

When I first went to get my dress they were very nice and made me feel like a princess. After I ordered my wedding dress and placed my order for the headband I was treated as if I did something wrong because they ordered the wrong headpiece. I had pictures of the head piece on my head in their store and they were insisting that they never had what I was looking forward to wearing. I was made to feel like I was lucky they ordered the piece they had for me. I was not credited any money and they let me pick out a new head piece and did not charge me the difference. I was I quote "You are very luck to get to order another head piece and not be charged". I also got 7 bridesmaid dresses from here. They were very difficult with ordering sizes and recognizing their prices were higher then ones I found elsewhere. Im very disappointed in this store. I was so excited when I tried my dress on and the customer service went to down hill after that! I do not recommend this place unless you are look for an amazing alterations person!! -

I had a horrible experience at Kotsovos. Victoria sold me two dresses, one for my wedding ceremony and one for the reception. The dress for the reception was too small but Victoria guaranteed me that it could be altered to fit. The dress was in stock and never left the store. When I returned for my fitting the alterations lady told me there was no way the dress could be altered as Victoria had stated. I took the dress back upstairs to get a refund and I was told they don't give refunds. I was shocked! The dress was not a special order, had never left their store and could not be altered to fit yet they refused to refund my money and were hesitant to give me a store credit, which I finally did receive.
I found another dress for the same price but they did not have my size so we had to order it. Once it arrived and I tried it on and the fitit horrible. The zipper formed a hump between my shoulders and the shoulder pads were hideous. Fortunately the alterations team was able to re-do the hidden zipper and fix 80% of the fit issue so that I can at least wear it.
The final part of my experience is the most disappointing as I will not wear the dress I bought for the ceremony since after the alteraltions it still does not fit properly. Fortunately II found a beautiful dress at a different retailer that fit perfectly off the rack! So after wasting more than a thousand dollars at Kotsovos, I would never recommend them to anyone!!! -

I've just had a horrible wedding dress experience with Kotsovos Bridal. I feel that my wedding excitement has been ruined.
I trusted them with one of the most important decisions of my life, what a mistake! I feel that errors were made by Kotsovos but no one wants to accept responsibility for ruining my dress. i feel that they were also very rude and confrontational.
They have my $3700.00...and I have nothing. Now my wedding has been postponed because my dress is destroyed. They told us to either accept the flawed and ruined dress or sue them. I feel abused and taken advantage of. I hope that no one else has to experience the nightmare that I am going through.

Shopping for a dress for my son's wedding. When I went to look for a dress they were not helpful but i found one that i really liked after looking by myself. When picking up a dress after alterations was refused to let me try and just said the seamstress was not there today without giving any alternatives. The person that sold me the dress was there but did not say a word. They are just rude -
