I was determined to get a dress from the designer, "P.C. Mary" and Bridal and Formal Boutique & House of Tux was the only vendor that I was able to get a hold of. I drove all the way from Lake Charles, La to Gulfport, MS -- a grand total of a five hour drive -- to get my dream dress. The first experience there was okay, and I had no major complaints except the poor location (the boutique was located with it's parking lot open to a main thoroughfare with a 50 mph speed limit, and my mother was almost hit by an oncoming vehicle, just walking out of the boutique!)
The problems began after I ordered my gown. It took EIGHT WEEKS for the dress to arrive, and no one called me when it came in... I had to call -- and found out the dress had been there already for several days.
I drove a second time to Gulfport, for my first fitting. The seamstress was EXTREMELY RUDE and completely unhelpful. She insulted me, and when I asked why the dress looked to baggy and badly, she just said "Well I can't fix the way you are!" My mother then laced up the corset-back to the dress and it looked the way that I wanted it to. I thought -- how could a seamstress not know to lace up the back of the dress BEFORE measuring and altering.
I decided to take the dress and leave, because of how terrible the treatment there was.
Make this place your LAST RESORT, and DO NOT use their seamstress!!!
