We held our wedding at Brick and Mortar and when I tell you they're the best possible venue choice you could find, I'm not lying. The entire planning process was seamless, wonderful, fun, helpful, and flexible. The venue is BEAUTIFUL, spacious, and has a on-site bridal suite and grooms suite. The balcony second floor was the perfect place for us to hold our cocktail hour while the ceremony space was flipped to the reception. They offer food/catering and bar services although you don't have to book through them, I don't know why you wouldn't. The catering was some of the BEST food I've ever eaten in my life (shoutout Craig) and the menu is completely customizable. When we wanted customized appetizers for cocktail hour, Craig sat down with us to create the exact passable apps that we were looking for. The dinner was served buffet style, and was delicious and hot. I'm still dreaming about the pesto ravioli and sirloin!!! Bernice was our main contact for planning purposes and she was so friendly and sweet that I seriously squealed when I saw her two different times on wedding day. My bridesmaids were obsessed with the bartender, Lorenzo, and I found the bar packages to be very fairly priced especially considering that it included the staff and the glassware. I cannot say enough good things about Brick and Mortar Events and if you choose them for your wedding venue you will NOT regret it, trust me!! -

If you're looking for a venue to host your celebration, you can stop looking and choose Brick & Mortar. We celebrated our wedding here and it was everything I could have imagined and more. My husband & I toured many venues and nothing felt right until we made our last stop at Brick & Mortar. Immediately we knew it was the place for our wedding, it's gorgeous, classic, and welcoming. Then when we spoke to Bernadette & Jerry and it only reinforced our decision to move forward. They are experts at what they do and are so kind & helpful. I didn't feel overwhelmed wedding planning because they give great advice & know how to run the day of schedule.
- The venue is beautiful. It's simple and easy. The ceremony happens on the first floor, cocktail hour on the 2nd floor, & the reception back on the first floor. It's such easy transitions & the team does a great job.
- The food is amazing!! All our guests raved about the food. We wish we could have Jerry's food all the time. We will definitely use their catering services for future events.
- The staff are friendly and professional. They took care of our guests and us as if we were family. Special shout-out to Ms. Patti!
- Bernadette & Jerry know what they are doing. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming but don't worry, Brick & Mortar will make it a seamless day
- They own McWades Inn which is a 5 minute walk from the venue. We and our families stayed there and it was incredible. Our families loved spending time together in such a beautiful home. Truly that Inn is so beautiful and spacious. We took our getting ready photos there
I can go on and on about Brick & Mortar. We had the most perfect wedding there. I'm so grateful to their team. Our friends say we threw the wedding of the year but truly, we didn't do much! Jerry, Bernadette, & their team made it happen.Brick & Mortar Events's reply:

High-Quality Service & Wonderful to Work With
My husband and I got married at Brick & Mortar Events – highly recommend! I fell in love with the venue from the first time that I visited, as it is truly stunning. The event space is very elegant, spacious, and cozy. Jerry and Bernadette did an amazing job of designing the space, such that it is beautiful on its own and requires minimal decoration. They also deeply care for their venue and clients, such that they provide a high quality of service. There are many smaller details that make such a significant difference and set them apart from other event spaces. For instance, the packages include tables, chairs, linens, tableware, etc., which allows you to focus on more important aspects of the event.
Truly, it was so easy to work with them throughout the entire planning process. Jerry and Bernadette were very organized, responsive, flexible, and patient. They are genuinely kind and trustworthy people that have your best interests in mind. Jerry is such a talented chef – our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious each dish was! He was very helpful in designing our menu and pairing certain items together. We also really appreciated the Brick & Mortar staff: all of them were polite, organized, and professional! The owners were nice and flexible when we changed our wedding date! They were always willing to work with us and being able to make sure all changes were what we wanted. The venue it self was amazing and so was the food and drinks. The wedding wouldn't have been so magical without them

Bridal Shower and a wedding rehearsal dinner
Both parties went perfectly. The food was delicious. The workers were delightful, professional and hard working. All our needs were met.
The venue was quaint and the owner, Jerry, was so helpful in planning our food dishes.
I highly recommend this venue. 10 out of 10 for sure! -

There are not enough good things that we can say about working with Jerry and Bernadette at Brick and Mortar Events to make our dream wedding come true. Our original date was impacted by the uncertainty of the COVID-19 closures. Jerry and Bernadette were so flexible and understanding and truly collaborated with us to move our wedding to a new date. Their venue is beautiful. We held our ceremony and reception there and they were quick with setup and flipping the space while the cocktail hour was held upstairs. It was so nice to have the bridal suite to get ready in, the outdoor deck space with fire pits and having the bar in a central location to keep everyone part of the party. Their staff was so fun, kind and accommodating. They kept the buffet organized, were quick to clean up and were always checking in on us and our guests. And the food, we cannot say enough about the food! It was so much fun having a food tasting with Jerry and Bernadette to decide what we would be serving at the wedding. There were so many great options that it was difficult to choose! The food is so delicious and we received many compliments on it. They were also accommodating for a few of our guests who had dietary restrictions. We are so thankful to have had our wedding at Brick and Mortar Events and we would highly recommend everyone to consider holding your big day here, you will not be disappointed! -

Jerry & Bernadette could not have been better hosts for our event. They were responsive, kind, thoughtful, helpful, patient and so much more. They worked with us to reschedule around COVID, they answered our 10,000 questions without any issues whatsoever, and on the day of the event the space was beautifully decorated, clean, and perfect. The staff did an amazing job taking care of our every need and they were extremely friendly and helpful. The bartender, Lorenzo, was quick, remembered all of our orders, and had all of us laughing. Brick & Mortar was probably the best decision we made for our wedding. Jerry and Bernadette were absolutely amazing. They were thoughtful, helpful, accommodating, hilarious - just perfect! Especially with COVID going on this year. I told everyone that they were the reason I was so relaxed during this process! They made everything so smooth, it was a great feeling. We had a rehearsal dinner at Brick and mortar this past Friday 10/16/2020. It was just the best place. The venue in itself is just beautiful, the food was amazing. We had a wonderful experience with Brick & Mortar for our February wedding. Everything was wonderful from the payment plan we were able to utilize, to on-site planning leading up to the wedding, to the actual day! We did both our ceremony and reception. Jerry and Bernadette were extremely easy to work with and especially on the wedding day they (and their staff) were ready to step in and do anything I could want or need.
The venue itself is beautiful, the interior and exterior are incredible for photos and it fit right in with our vintage theme. It was a great place to get ready, take photos, and have a wonderful wedding and reception. If we were to do it all over again we would definitely do it here.
The food is INCREDIBLE, everyone is still talking about how good the food was and how nice the venue was. The authentic Italian food is elegant and compliments a wedding gathering while keeping everyone full for a night of dancing. '

Words do not describe how I enjoyed having my wedding at Brick & Mortar!!!!! When I tell you they handle you with white gloves, believe me. From the moment my husband and I walked in, they impressed us and they did so even to the last moment when they served our guests and us a delectable meal that still has our guests talking.
They went above and beyond and were so flexible and easy to work with, I hated having to be finish doing business with them. However, we do plan to have them cater our anniversary meal...they just feel like family now!

Great venue! Brick and Mortar is amazing!
We loved working with Brick and Mortar! From the beginning everything was smooth and easy! The food was absolutely delicious! We got so many compliments! Also they are super flexible and went beyond and above to accommodate to what we wanted. Our wedding was a dream come true !

Felt like family
The staff at Brick and Mortar were beyond easy to work with, it felt like we were part of their Italian family. They made the whole menu for our tasting and then some to take home. They were beyond flexible with what we out timeline for rehearsals and visiting over and over again. Their packages were worth the value, no hassle! There is not enough room to type how I feel about this venue. Simply amazing!! The owners, Jerry and Bernadette, are such a lovely and caring couple. They made this process SO easy and helped make the day go without a hitch. They are very prompt with getting back to you and flexible with your needs and desires. The services they offer make this venue very convenient. Also, the food, was very good. This venue is very cute on the inside and in a nice location. Very reasonably priced!!

It's been over ten days since we said our vows at Brick and Mortar and we're still going on and on about how absolutely fantastic it was. Jerry and Bernadette are the easiest people in the entire world to work with and we were absolutely amazed by every little detail of the venue. From their own catering (of absolutely breathtaking food) to the "scenes from an italian restaurant" feel, I can't begin to recommend this place enough. The value was EXCEPTIONAL and all of our guests walked away just as blown away as we were. I also want to add that the bartender was FANTASTIC and kept the party going and everyone entertained. I'm so thrilled with the way everything went from getting ready in the bridal suite to the ceremony to the flip to reception that I could go on and on about it. It was absolutely beautiful, economical, and practical. Everyone was overjoyed, especially me and my husband. I honestly hope we have another excuse to throw another event here as well. I cannot belief the level of professionalism, but personal touch I had throughout my entire wedding process here! Bernadette and Jerry are the sweetest and most generous team I've met and I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. It was beyond beautiful and they let me take over the venue for the whole day so we could decorate and get ready. They answered every question and did not ever let me know if they ran into any problems. They got it done. Every guest raved about the food cause Jerry makes a mean chicken savoy! I am so happy to have worked with them! -

Bernadette & Jerry are wonderful!! They listen to what you are envisioning for your special day and they make sure it will happen and everything will run smoothly! They are the complete package! The food is beyond amazing, everyone is still raving over it! Their bartenders are fun and know how to keep the drinks flowing, not once did we see long lines of people waiting for a drink. The space they have is amazing and we love the upstairs and that you can see downstairs as well! The Bridal Suite is great to get ready in! We had the pleasure of working with Jerry and Bernadette at Brick and Mortar for our wedding ceremony and reception. They offered up a turn key style event and everything was such a smooth process. The staff was very helpful and professional! All of our guests fell in love instantly with the venue. The venue features exposed brick walls and a 30 fit ceiling with a balcony that wraps around on the 2nd floor. The space very open and accommodated out 100+ guests nicely. It didn’t feel crowded or cramped. Plus a huge bonus for me was only seating 8 people per table. Most wedding venues try to push 10 people to a table which can make your guest feel cramped and stuffy. As for the food, it was amazing! Jerry and Bernadette offer a free food tasting and are able to go with any style you’d like. We chose Italian food, who doesn’t love pasta?! It was a hit! Everyone commented about the big portion sizes and the flavor was so wonderful. I am so happy we chose Brick and Mortar Events for our special night. The whole evening flowed nicely and there were no hiccups, which is refreshing on such an important occasion. Thank you guys! I can’t wait to come back for another event!!

We recently booked the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception and it could not have gone more perfectly! Jerry and Bernadette were so great and easy to get in touch with the entire process. They made sure that the entire day went as smoothly as possible! From the ceremony rehersal to setting up for the reception it was all so easy, not to mention how amazing the food was! Our day was truly a dream come true! I would highly recommend Brick and Mortar Events for any upcoming event you may have. You will not be disappointed!!
