A beautiful day!!

Sara at Briarwood is awesome!! She worked with us so much and on the big day she was there to make sure everything was perfect. She checked on me before the ceremony to make sure everything was good, from the venue to how I was holding up. LOL. It was great and everyone that attended our big day was impressed and had a great time!

Spring Wedding

Briarwood Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the first time we reached out, their communication was quick, thorough, and incredibly friendly. Sara, our coordinator, made the planning process a breeze and was always available to answer our questions. On the day of, the Briarwood team handled all of the set up and tear down, which was a huge relief. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - airy, high-end, and truly the best bang for your buck. Our guests raved about the beautiful space and delicious food. Briarwood truly has it all, and we are so grateful we chose them to host our special day.

We absolutely loved Briarwood Golf Club for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, the staff at Briarwood were fast, kind, and provided detailed responses to all of our questions. Their communication style put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The value they provided was exceptional - the venue itself was a wonderful space with lots of natural light from the many windows, and the team took care of every detail to ensure the flow of our wedding evening went smoothly. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue, and we're so grateful to the Briarwood team for helping make our special day perfect.

Beautiful Fall Wedding

My husband and I were referred to Briarwood through a co-worker who got married there. We absolutely loved it!! We had our ceremony and reception there. The outdoor space was one of the biggest selling points for us. The day was so beautiful. If you're seeking an all inclusive venue that is easy to work with and budget friendly, choose Briarwood!

Absolutely gorgeous!

I am a professional wedding officiant and I recently had the opportunity to officiate a wedding at Briarwood. Sara was absolutely fantastic to work with and her communication was excellent. The venue has such a pretty space with the windows and Sara is very detail oriented. I hope that I return to work another wedding with her soon!

We had a fall wedding at Briarwood and it was perfect! I was recommended to Briarwood by a co-worker who got married there the year prior. Everything from the introductory tour to the execution of the wedding was amazing. I highly recommend getting married at Briarwood!

Spring Reception

We loved working with Sara and the Briarwood team! We had our reception there in May and absolutely loved it. The venue was so bright and spacious with all the windows. We enjoyed having the additional outdoor space on the patio.

Best place to get married!!

My husband and I loved our experience of getting married here. Briarwood is a beautiful location to have your wedding. We had our ceremony and reception all in one at this beautiful venue. Ours was in the winter time so it was indoors, but when the weather is nice, they even have a gorgeous outdoor area for weddings and receptions. Sara, the event manager, is phenomenal and really helped to make this big day go as smoothly as possible. She takes a lot of worry and stress out of the picture with how much the venue handles, including decorating which was a huge sell for us, and even providing a useful checklist to remember what is needed and when you should have these things done by, such as securing a photographer or DJ, booking your honeymoon, and even recommendations on who to use for your florist, photographer, etc. Seriously super helpful! And the catering company they use, Sausalito’s, is delicious. We definitely recommend you look no further than Briarwood for your wedding needs.

Amazing Wedding!!

We had the best wedding at Briarwood! It was such a dream and exactly what we wanted. Everything from start to finish was executed perfectly! All of our guests raved about the food, venue and overall vibe. If we could do it all over again, we would! It was so fun. Highly recommend Briarwood!

Lovely Wedding

Our ceremony and reception were held at Briarwood Golf Club. We are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding day. Everything turned out how we imagined. The space was decorated beautifully and all details were executed flawlessly. Our guests really enjoyed the outdoor patio. The food was delicious. The Briarwood team did all the set up and tear down for us. I can't say enough great things about Briarwood!

Sara was great to work with. She really helped my wife and I put together the perfect day. Always reassuring us and making helpful suggestions. We had an indoor ceremony and reception. Everything was amazing. The service was great. Briarwood and Sausalito went out of their way to accommodate my mother in law who needed a special meal and a private space to take her medication. We truly felt special on our wedding day. Thank you!

Fall Wedding Reception

I had my wedding reception at Briarwood in October. It was absolutely beautiful! I was able to drop off all of my decor earlier in the week and the Briarwood team set everything up for me. The space looked exactly how I wanted and it was great not having to worry about setting things up the day of the wedding. We were also able to pick up our decor the following morning which was very convenient. I loved working with Sara throughout the planning process. She made everything easy and gave recommendations when needed. The food was amazing as well. It's so nice that they include so much upon booking (venue, catering, linens, centerpieces, security, etc.) Thank you Briarwood!

Sunday Wedding

My husband and I got married at Briarwood in April 2024. It was wonderful! They were able to accommodate our Sunday wedding. We had both ceremony and reception onsite. The ceremony is typically held in a grassy area, but it rained a ton the previous week and was too wet. That didn't stop us from getting married outside! Sara was able to switch our ceremony to a cement area with a beautiful backdrop. It worked out great. She provided us with a list of preferred vendors and a wedding checklist which were both very helpful. I'm a super anxious person and she made me feel at ease the day of the wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

We had our wedding reception at Briarwood this summer! They were able to accommodate our 190 headcount. The cocktail hour was outdoors and the reception was indoors. It was amazing how our vision came to life with their help! Sara who works for the venue was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. She was flexible with our bar package so everyone was happy. The food was great and the service was 10/10!

I got married at Briarwood in October. We loved every minute of our wedding. The communication with the venue was always quick and easy. We were able to make payments throughout the year which was helpful for us. The venue is spacious and open with all of the windows. Best Day Ever!

My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding at Briarwood! We got married in July and had the best experience. We are a same sex couple who live out of state but that didn't stop anything from running smoothly! Sara made us feel special and included throughout the entire process.

The venue is absolutely beautiful with all the windows and neutral colors. We were able to choose our own linen colors and use Briarwood's centerpieces and table numbers. We arrived in Cleveland a few days before the wedding and were able to drop off all of our decor so the Briarwood team could set everything up for us.

The day of the wedding was amazing! We were able to utilize their outdoor patio space for cocktail hour and throughout the evening. I hate saying this, but everything was perfect from start to finish! If we could relive the day, we would. If you're looking for a beautiful and affordable venue, check out Briarwood!

We got married at Briarwood in August. It was such a great experience! We used their patio for cocktail hour. Our dinner was buffet style (food was amazing). Briarwood set everything up for us so we didn't need to worry about any of that. I'm still getting compliments about the venue and food to this day!

Briarwood Venue

When we toured Briarwood, we ended up booking on the spot. We just loved the space and the pricing. Sara was very organized and helped us with the planning process. I ended up hiring a wedding planner to assist with details but it wasn't necessary. Having both the indoor and outdoor space was very nice. The whole day was perfect!

I had my ceremony and reception at Briarwood in July. Everything was wonderful! Unfortunately it was raining so we moved the ceremony indoors (can't control the weather). My husband and I live out of state, but wanted to get married in Cleveland to be close to family. We booked Briarwood for our wedding and it was a great decision! Sara was so easy to work with and made sure my mind was at ease in terms of planning. On the day of the wedding, we received so many compliments on everything! We booked Briarwood for our wedding in June. We had ceremony, cocktail hour & reception there. The ceremony was outdoors by their fireplace area. Briarwood provided and set up the chairs so we didn't need to worry about that. Cocktail hour took place on their outdoor patio. It was nice because guests were able to enjoy the scenery and take photos during this time. The reception took place indoors but guests were still allowed outside on the patio. Sara and her team set up everything for us so we just had to show up. It was cool to just walk in and see our vision in real life. We received lots of compliments on the venue and food. Everything went as planned. We are very happy with our decision in booking Briarwood for our wedding.

All Around Great!

We came across Briarwood when searching for venues on the knot. As soon as we spoke to Sara and saw the venue, we were sold. We picked a date and didn't bother looking anywhere else. Sara was so responsive, her communication was top notch from start to finish. Briarwood is transparent about all their costs, they list everything on their website and there are no surprises at the end. The rental fee includes set up, tear down, chairs for the outdoor ceremony, tables and chairs for inside, linens and table clothes, they even have decor for the tables if you don't want to bring your own. It was so refreshing seeing all the costs upfront and having everything included, unlike a lot of other places I saw online. Costs can add up quickly for a wedding but I thought the food, beverage, cocktail hour, and venue rental was very reasonably priced. They partner with Sausalito for catering, again - Sara does all the heavy lifting, you just have to give her your availability and show up to the tasting. The venue itself is beautiful, it sits on a golf course so we didn't need any decor for outside. The indoor space was great, we have about 160 people, we could have definitely fit more but it was not over crowded or too open. There is also an outdoor space for cocktail hour which you can keep open all nice. Everything went so smoothly, Sara is great event planner. She is very organized and detail oriented and responds faster than you can imagine. I would highly recommend having your wedding or event at briarwood!

Excellent wedding venue and wedding planner!

We could not have asked for a better venue and wedding planner. Sara made our lives so easy and she would always respond instantly when we had questions leading up to the wedding. She set up the entire venue for us and everything looked beautiful. We did not have to worry about one thing! The venue sits on a golf course and the views make for great pictures. Would definitely recommend Briarwood and Sara to anyone!

Amazing venue and event manager

Briarwood Golf Club is a dream place to have your wedding. The venue has indoor and outdoor space which allows for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and a wonderful indoor reception. Briarwood partners with Sausalito catering and the food is excellent! Our guests raved about the food for weeks after the wedding. We did not have to lift a finger on our wedding day. The tables, chairs, linens, and more were included with the venue. When we first met Sara, we were blown away at how kind and attentive she was. She promptly answered emails, sometimes within minutes and helped to make sure our day was perfect! Sara and her team set up our ceremony and reception, perfectly matching our vision. We truly felt like we were in the best hands for our day and would not change a thing. We could not recommend Briarwood Golf Club enough!

We had the best time at our wedding! Briarwood truly went above & beyond to make the day special. We got married offsite but were able to still take photos on the property before the reception. Our wedding had just under 200 guests and the space fit us perfectly. Highly recommend Briarwood as a venue!

I’m so happy I came across this venue by chance! They made me feel at ease when it came to the big day. Of course brides want control of everything but they made sure everything was taken care of! It was the perfect space for the amount of people we had. Sara is a gem and I hope she continues to be for future soon to be married couples planning their big day.

Absolutely perfect

Sarah was absolutely amazing to work with. From the moment I inquired about setting up an appointment to see the venue to the moment we left. After our wedding reception, it was effortless. I loved how everything from the food, linens, centerpieces, bar, and every else was all included in one price. It saved us so much time and energy. Beautiful location and people are still talking about the food! This is a hidden gem in Cleveland and would recommend a million times over!

Wedding Venue

We had our wedding at Briarwood last fall and it was amazing!! We couldn't have asked for a better day. Our ceremony was outside at the fireplace area, followed by cocktail hour out on the patio. Everything was perfect! Sara and the team were easy to work with and made sure everything went smoothly. We didn't have to worry about anything the whole night. Thank you Briarwood!!

Amazing Service and Beautiful Space!!!!

Briarwood was a great location for our big day! We loved working alongside the on-site coordinator, Sara, to make our wedding special - she did SO MUCH to help us. From setting up, from organizing specialty cocktails, to helping us through the wild weather and adjusting the outdoor ceremony space to fit our needs. Not to mention the food was amazing. Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the food. Thank you so much to Sara and the briarwood team!! Although there were tornado level winds it was still the best day ever. Would 1000% recommend briarwood for your wedding!

Wedding Day!

I got married last fall & it was honestly so amazing! The venue is so beautiful & I didn't have to worry about anything. The Coordinator, Sara, worked with me throughout the planning & made sure everything was how I wanted. The outdoor patio was a big hit for my guests so having the indoor/outdoor space is a must! I received so many compliments during & after my wedding. Overall a great place to get married!!

Best decision ever!

Our wedding reception at Briarwood Golf Club was amazing beyond anything we could have dreamed! From our first meeting with Sara we knew she was someone we could rely on and she exceeded our expectations in ways we could have never imagined. Throughout the entire process Sara was attentive, courteous, helpful, and responsive. She made planning the reception easy and stress-free, as we knew early on we were in good hands. The food from Sausalito was delicious and we received many compliments on the dinner from our family and friends. Adding in the fact that the venue also assists with the alcohol, bartenders, tables, chairs, and linens makes this a one stop shop for so many reception needs. We had a wonderful experience and want to thank Sara and the rest of the staff again for everything they did for us!

wedding in july

My wife & I got married at Briarwood in July. It was great! We live in Texas but our family is from the Cleveland area so we wanted to get married local to them. We booked Briarwood virtually and actually didn't see the venue in person until the week of the wedding! Sara was absolutely great in working with us throughout the planning process. She made sure we were on the same page regarding all details. Day of was flawless! We had a vision and Briarwood was able to create that for us. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day.

How do you write a review for a place that is responsible for you having the best night of your life? We had our wedding ceremony and r reception at Briarwood, and it didn't disappoint! Sara who is the coordinator was amazing right from the start! She was quick to respond to emails or texts and sheade planning it fun for my wife! Even when it came to the big day Sara was composed and pretty much did her best to accommodate anything we may have aaked for! It got windy that day and we had a tidal wave of chairs blowing all over the palce. Sara came out herself and helped get chairs back before guests arrived! Our pictures turned out amazing as their grounds are beautiful, and have a lot of spots for cool shots! I really can't say enough about not only Sara but also her team! Everyone was so polite and smiles on their faces and the bartenders had fun with the crowd! We had a shot wall my buddy made as a gift and they had it filled all night! The night was EPIC to say the least and it was all thanks to Sara and her crew! Oh wait don't let me forget the food......BEST wedding food I've ever had! I mean come on we are all used to the bland light sauced pasta, dry chicken, and over done beef at most weddings. Come on you know you've been there more than once... Haha well not with briar wood the food was excellent and I had compliments months later! If you're looking to make your big day one to remember ...do yourself a favor, and check out Sara at Briarwood golf club, you won't be disappointed!!

briarwood is the best

My husband and I got married at Briarwood Golf Club in July of 2022. It was amazing! From the start, we were impressed with their coordinator. She was very detailed and helped us throughout the planning process. She even gave us a list of preferred vendors that she's worked with. It was so nice that Briarwood includes so many things that could add additional expenses to the wedding (centerpieces, linens, Chiavari chairs). We were able to have a ceremony rehearsal (walk through) which was very helpful. Day of, everything was wonderful! The whole reception space was set up so we didn't need to worry about anything. The staff were professional. The food was yummy. Overall great experience!

Perfect wedding day!! We had the best wedding ever. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better day. Everything was wonderful. The food was delicious. All of the workers were polite and courteous. You could tell that they really wanted to make our day special. Go to Briarwood!

Fantastic !!!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at Briarwood. Sara was amazing! She handled everything, answered all of my questions and went above and beyond to make our day special. Upon first meeting, she said she would take care of everything so all we had to do was show up on the day of our event and enjoy it and that’s exactly what happened! We could not have been more pleased with our experience. The place was beautiful, the food was great, the service was incredible! 10/10

Great Venue

Great wedding venue. Lots of windows and natural lighting. The new renovations and updates to the space look awesome! Yummy food & strong drinks. Enjoyed our time at Briarwood.

guest at the wedding

The outdoor wedding was a perfect setting. There was an outside bar for the cocktail hour which was spacious on the patio. The inside area for dinner and dancing was beautiful, surrounded by windows. There were 2 bars which was nice. The food and service was excellent.

Great Venue

I attended an event at Briarwood Golf Club back in June. The space is absolutely beautiful, especially during the day. The grounds are well kept and made for the perfect picture background. All of the staff were friendly and polite. The food was delicious! There was a buffet with chicken, beef and a few sides. I would gladly attend another event at Briarwood!

Wonderful Wedding

Briarwood is an amazing venue! We initially booked this space because we loved the windows and natural lighting. The room was set up beautifully! They even had a backdrop for guests to take pictures in front of. The bartenders were quick & professional. We were able to use their outdoor patio for our cocktail hour as well as throughout the entire night. Briarwood’s staff was organized, detail oriented & engaging. They made sure everything was flawless! We were able to take sunset pictures out on the golf course. Their in-house caterer, Sausalito, is amazing! Everyone loved the food and we received many compliments. We had our ceremony at Briarwood as well. It was beautiful! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding.

Fantastic Wedding at Briarwood

Briarwood was a fantastic venue for our wedding! We held our ceremony down at their fireplace, gazebo setup and it was beautiful. Cocktail hour was on and around their patio, which worked out great for our guests while we went and took pictures. Oh and if you happen to get married around sunset there are so many cool spots for your guests to take pictures with the course/sky as a backdrop. Our reception was held in their banquet room, which is lined with windows overlooking the golf course and brings in lots of natural light. The room was set-up beautifully by their event coordinator and their entire staff made sure our wedding day was perfect! Finally their in-house caterer, Sausalito, was simply amazing! All of our guests raved about their food. It really was a special day all around. We'd highly recommend Briarwood for your wedding ceremony and/or reception.

Omg it was amazing

I was so speechless with the level of service we received. They were very attentive and worked with us on everything. The venue was beautiful they had just renovated the space , so everything was fairly new. They made my wedding day such a happy time.

Amazing venue!!

Like a lot of couples, we were caught in the COVID pandemic after planning our special day. Unlike many couples, we were blessed to have chosen Briarwood. Through multiple obstacles that they faced as a business, they honored our contract, our date, and even completed their remodel in time for our day. Sarah was amazing and stayed on top of everything until the evening was finished. We are truly grateful for everything!!

Briarwood was a wonderful choice for both our ceremony and reception. First, having both events there was a piece of cake - in fact, plan on doing your pictures there as well. There are so many possibilities for beautiful, scenic, lush photos that you don't need to leave. We didn't leave the property for the whole time we were there! The reception hall is not just another big conference room you find at party centers; it is a big bright room with windows on all sides facing out onto beautiful scenery. Sherry is the event coordinator and she is AMAZING. She was always an email away and responded within 24-48 hours. I could ramble off a list of random questions and she'd get back to me on each one. The day of, we appreciated her tenfold. She was there for the whole event, coordinating seamlessly with our officiant and directing guests to the ceremony site. During the reception, she was around to help with anything big or small; I even caught her helping one of our guests bring drinks to the head table. She was so helpful, flexible, fun, and dependable, but never overbearing, demanding, bossy, or nosey. She often popped into my hiding place just to check on me and see if I needed anything. Truly just a great resource for our whole planning process and day-of execution. Bucci's is a wonderful caterer and the staff went out of their way to deliver great service to us and our guests. Looking back on our whole experience with Briarwood, the price is an absolute steal. We are so happy to have had our most important event at Briarwood and look forward to going back and visiting in the future!

Briarwood (2737 Edgerton Rd, Broadview Heights) - John Knezevich is the best! We went to many, many halls and they all seem to be big boxes with few windows. Briarwood has windows on every wall and more than two walls are almost all windows. They have an outdoor fireplace and patio as well. The food was very good - we got many positive comments on it. The service was also wonderful! He doesn't charge extra fees for anything (like many halls). We even had really nice centerpieces that he made available. We had to buy votives (cheap at Catan's) but he supplied the mirrors, large candle, and hurricanes. He has many choices in centerpieces. You also have the choice of many colors in tablecloths and napkins without an additional charge (we didn't see ANY other halls that did this). He has kids meals at cheaper prices. Their package prices were low-average compared to others in the area. He's updated decor and put a lot of time/money into keeping up the building. Contracted with Sherry and Bucci's. Briarwood switch vendors ,by the time we were informed it was too late to go anywhere else.
Dave was very difficult to deal with. Had we known that was the vendor never would have considered Briarwood as a option.
One member of the staff Kevin was the only saving grace ,he was very accomadating and made sure things were done on the day of the reception.
