Couldn't ask for more!

We couldn't have asked for more in our experience with Brian. Through the planning sessions we were able to create the wedding we wanted that was custom to us. With Brian it is about how can we make it work. Writing this review at almost a year of marriage we have had Family and friends who have attended other events come back saying that they "Never been to wedding so organized". Our photographer took a photo of the bride and asked what is the secret to being so calm, her answer was I know the groom is here and everything is planned there was nothing to worry about. That is were Brian makes a difference, it is the organization, the customization and the feeling that your guests leave with.

Wonderful Master of Ceremonies

Brian was incredibly helpful with getting ideas rolling for my June 2020 wedding. Unfortunately I wasn't able to book with him, but we had an amazing conversation brainstorming ideas and discuss all the possibilities for my special day! He is truly passionate about his business and making your dream day come to life! I could tell he truly cares about each and every couple he had ever worked with and will do everything and anything he possibly can to ensure you have the best wedding possible!

Professional and Personal

Brian made our day so special. He took the time to care for every detail, and helped us prepare for things we didn't necessarily think about. He made the effort during the planning process to make sure our wedding was an experience for our guests that my wife and I wanted. He helped our anxiety during times of stress by helping us focus on our special day and not worry about the little things. Everyone of our guests we have talked to keep mentioning ideas Brian had as some of their favorite things about our wedding; from the grand march, to the music people danced to all night, to his idea for center pieces were a few people's favorite aspects and memories of the wedding that were Brian contributions.

Greatest DJ and Master of Ceremonies of all time!

We cannot thank Brian enough for going above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality! All of our guests were blown away by his awesomeness and praised his talents all night long! We had a packed dance floor all night long for our wedding and truly had the greatest night of our life. We were not ready for the night to end, but we sure ended it in style! Thanks again for everything!

Brian is absolutely amazing and is the real deal. He delivered on everything he promised and exceeded our expectations. To me, what impressed me the most were the reviews and feedback we got from the other professionals and services we had connected to our wedding. They all had glowing reviews of Brian.
Brian is very professional, meticulous, and an idea machine. I truly enjoyed working with him over the course of the 8 months leading up to our wedding. Our whole wedding weekend went off without a hitch and we did everything we wanted to/planned on. Thanks to Brian, my wife and I were able to be as stress free as possible and we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding weekend. I cannot thank Brian enough and I cannot recommend him enough; you will not be disappointed.

We worked with Brian for just under 1 year before our wedding day. From the first meeting, Brian had great energy, an obvious passion for his work, and a genuine interest in us and our families. Through numerous meetings and messages, he helped us plan our big day starting with our overall vision and goals and ending with the fine details and a timeline for the entire day and weekend. He always kept us at the center of his work, which allowed us to create many memorable, personalized moments throughout our wedding day. We were very impressed with his overall passion, commitment, organization, and genuine friendship. Our day went so smoothly and was better than we imagined! We received tons of compliments on how fun our wedding was!

We absolutely loved Brian! He was AWESOME!! From the the very beginning engaging the Bridal party and building up the excitement for the big day over several months! He made sure the bride and groom’s ideas and wishes were honored. He truly made it such a memorable day! The sound level was perfect, he kept our guests engaged and made sure everyone knew what was going on every step of the way! He not only served our family well but also has grown to be a friend! November 18th was the most amazing day in our lives.
Tina Hemiller and I are so amazed and appreciative of the amazing job Brian did from start to finish. Brian is very organized and always kept us on task. With a wedding it can get very overwhelming and stressful. Using Brian Kelm Productions relieves a lot of that stress. His skills, ideas, organization, and experience are out of this world. Tina and I wanted to show appreciation to our family and friends in having a dance party, and that we did. Dance floor was packed all night long and no one wanted the evening to end so much that my guest's wanted Brian to continue to the early morning hours. Of course we couldn't do that because of the hotel restrictions. The proof of Brian's talent is when your family and friends will never forget the wonderful time they had and continue to talk about it. Tina and I would like to thank Brian for his professionalism and most of all his friendship.

Brian helped us pull together our day into a smoothly flowing unique experience that truly let our personalities and areas of our life shine through. He helped us find ways to incorporate details that were uniquely ours. All of our friends and family let us know how much they enjoyed our wedding. From the moment we met Brian, we knew he was going to help us make our wedding day something special. Brian was there for us every step of the way and we could contact him any day any time and he was ready to answer our questions and help us in any way we needed. We met with Brian multiple times throughout the wedding planning process and each time it felt like we were meeting with an old friend, not just a wedding professional. Brian helped us develop a wedding weekend timeline, which gave us an overview of the whole weekend, along with a wedding day timeline, which gave us the clarity of every little detail that was going to happen the ENTIRE day. I myself am a teacher, so I love everything to be organized and Brian helped with that! We highly recommend Brian and his services and are excited to have gained a life long friend!

Brian Kelm, was the nicest. kindest, and most caring DJ/Wedding Planner for my son, Cody and his wife Amandas wedding. He spent so much time with them to really know who they are and what they both want for their wedding. We would recommend him over and over. Everyone at the wedding had a blast!

This was the best experience I have ever had! Brian always knew what to say and how to fix any dilemma that came about. So many people were overly impressed with the personal touches that Brian did. Book Brian, He did my daughters wedding 10 years ago, which was fantastic service. He now just did my son's wedding

We were recommended to Brian from our officiant. It was the best recommendation we could have received. He made us realize the reception was another part of the whole day that should be planned out, just like the ceremony. We knew we wanted to have a good time and less of a cookie cutter wedding that's forgettable.

Admittedly it was overwhelming with the planning but it was completely worth it. He met with us several times to break up the reception and then narrow in on final details. He was extremely helpful at giving his experiences at weddings, suggesting how to setup the room, using speeches to your advantage, and even placing guests. He was conscientious of working with our other vendors, especially our venue and photographer so they knew what was planned. Examples are first dance lighting and making sure it looked good for photographs. We didn't use him for the wedding planning, but it shows he understands the whole aspect of the day and each role the vendors have.

Our wedding party was almost afraid of all the planning we did. He kept them involved and was more personal than any other dj/entertainer I've ever seen before. It might seem pushy but I think it comes from the passion and desire to do a good job. In the end, our party admitted it was ABSOLUTELY worth it. We received so many compliments on how fun our wedding was. He did a fantastic job with the lighting and keeping the dance floor busy. All the planing he pushed us to do was completely worth it!

Brian was dedicated to working with us to create a very personalized wedding experience for us and our guests. We were not interested in having a typical 'big-room in a hotel' wedding. The 1st step was finding our venue at CedarHillFarm in Markesan, WI. The 2nd step was hiring Brian. Just like most people we were intimidated at the thought of planning and executing an entire wedding day. All of our guests were from out of town (IN/NH). Even our Wisconsin guests were traveling 3hrs from Eau Claire. We knew people were taking vacation days and spending $$ on travel and accommodations. This day could not disappoint on any level. Brian met us halfway between Madison and Eau Claire for our first planning session. My wife and I barely spoke on the 1.5hr ride down. We were 8 months away from our wedding day but we were already stressed and feeling the pressure. After 5hrs of conversation and coffee with Brian we were different people. Neither one of us could shut up on the way home. The pressure was gone. We were going off on tangents about details and ideas that had never occurred to us before. Over the next 8 months, 6 planning sessions, and many emails and phone calls, Brian helped us to create a beautiful wedding. He coordinated with our venue, photographer, caterer/bartender, officiant, and wedding party. Everybody that was working on wedding day was impressed and appreciative of the scheduling/coordination that Brian provided. I could go on about all the special and unique things we did on our day but it would be irrelevant. You and Brian are going to work to create your own day and it will be unlike any other wedding you or your guests have been to. Brian provides all of the details from planning/coordination, music, lighting, the choreography of the ceremony, and the progression from the ceremony to cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing. If you want an experience that you and your guests will always talk about, Brian is for you.

If you want to have an amazingly, wonderful reception.... retain the services of Brian Kelm. Brian is a a great asset to any bride and grooms portfolio of vendors. He is very personable, ensuring to know who will be in attendance of your wedding/reception, very caring, making sure that he is fulfilling your every desire of the way you want things done and very fun. Brian is extremely organized and helpful. His outline kept us on track. He is always thinking out of the box, which allowed us to customize our wedding. Lastly, we really appreciated the fact that Brian made the effort to really get to know us. Most people do not go to the lengths that Brian does to personalize his services. Brian is an amazing DJ as well as a wonderful wedding planner!!! Brian was amazing to work with. As the photogropher of the wedding, he made our job a breeze and he was very detail oriented. He was always making sure everyone was where they needed to be, asking if anyone needed anything, and making sure everything ran smooth. As for the entertainment at the reception, he rocked it. He made it fun for everyone and got everyone involved, creating an evening of fun, laughter, and lots of memories for everyone!

During our wedding, it was just like everything we had planned over the past 20 months came together seamlessly. I was so inspired by Brian's performance as masters of ceremonies. Brian made our wedding an amazing experience. His attention to detail is flawless and made our reception unbelievable and memorable. Brian puts a lot of effort into his couples and pride into his work and it is shown by the finished product he produces. I have never been to a wedding reception to this caliber and have had so many positive comments even now regarding the wedding and reception, not only because it was my wedding but it was an amazing party thanks to Brian.

As the mother of the groom I was not involved in the planning of the wedding, but just wanted to comment on what a great job Brian did at the reception keeping all of the activities running smoothly and on schedule. We had a lot of fun with the dancing, and there were lots of people on the dance floor the whole night, which was a major goal of the bride and groom for their wedding reception. Everyone commented on what a nice time they had and what a fun evening it was !

A coworker recommended that I use Brian as our "Master of I do." The cost initially seemed high, and my husband wasn't so sure about it. The price was a bit more than "DJ's" but Brian did FAR more than a DJ and I think we got a great deal for all the work he put into our wedding.

He was organized with timelines, had great ideas, and was committed to making our wedding about us, not just another event. The personal touches we came up with together had many of our guests complimenting throughout the evening. Our dance floor was packed (and keep in mind that my groom is NOT a dancer...but he hit the floor ALL night!!)

We had a non-denominational ceremony outdoors with my aunt presiding. We were not sure where to go for outdoor equipment, speakers, who would lead rehearsal, etc. We also had a cocktail hour in a different location from the reception. Brian took care of all of it and helped us plan out everything throughout 6 or more planning sessions.

I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Brian took all the worries out of planning a 50th wedding anniversary. At the actual event, he took control and kept things moving. Brian played music to our liking and kept everyone involved. Comments from our guests about the master of ceremonies (Brian) were "Great", "Wonderful". "Never a dull moment".

Brian is the best! Our venue put is through the grinder and he was there for us the whole way. He helped plan parts of the night that he wasn't even a part of. He helped us to brainstorm through the ceremony, photos, dinner, cake cutting, speeches and into the dancing! He is more than a DJ, he was our rock.

Brian brings a unique energy to what ever he does. He knows what he is doing and what it is about. I am confident he will give you exactly what you are looking for, and not what everyone else thinks you have to have. He has done both mine and my sister's weddings and we recommend him to everyone we know because he sure knows how to throw a party!

Brian is hands down the best DJ out there. He is not only a DJ but he is a wedding planner also. He is very detailed oriented and knows what he is doing. If you are looking to hire someone and have them show up and do their thing and go, then Brian is not the guy that you are looking for. Actually, he might be, I bet he could do that pretty well, but you would be missing out on all his creativity and passion for making a perfect wedding...in whatever that means to you. We met with Brian a few times, and talked on the phone with him many more. We live is the Chicago land area and he lived in Madison Wisconsin, so there was some space between is, and it didn’t seem like that at all. There were a bunch of little surprises along the way that my bride and I were doing for each other and he handled them all very smoothly and they all worked out perfectly. One thing that I liked the most was that he never told us no. He would give advice on how to make things better but there was never a moment that he said he couldn’t do that, or that he didn’t think that was a good idea. Our wedding was a mix of traditional and unorthodox. We had the look of a traditional wedding with all the bells a whistles, but we kinda flipped that on its head. Brian was there and excited to help us make it personal. The music was the best. We gave a list of songs that we wanted to be played, and a few that we didn’t. Then from him getting to know us and talking he did a fantastic job. I recommend Brian 100% and hope that the next wedding I go, he will be the one behind the microphone.

Wow Brian you have done it again, what an amazing night. Everyone had a blast, its 2 weeks later and ppl are still talking about the wonderful time had at the Holiday party. I can not discribe how much this means to our company to pull things together and give ppl a look up once in a while, its been a couple of grim years in the economy. People are running scared and for them to come and let loose gives them a stress relief, and you Brian i have to thank for that. You go beyond just sitting behind the DJ equipment, you come out and get involved, interact with people, and that is what people want is to be recognized, that they mean something.

Brian is extremely attentive to detail and truly wants to make your day as special and individual to you as you want. You will be expected to be a full partner (your immediate family's feedback will be required as well) in planning, but your experience will be personalized to your specifications by Brian. He doesn't just 'play music', any DJ can do that, he creates an evening of fun, and your guests will be entertained and engaged as well as enjoy dancing and activities you pick. Our dance floor was packed (over packed!) from start to finish. You get out what you put in, and Brian gives you every opportunity to maximize his service and have an evening no one at your wedding reception will ever forget. People have told us our son's wedding was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. Guests are an important ingredient obviously (ours just happened to be tons of fun-loving people), but your Master of Ceremonies Brian has a LOT to do with it. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the evening went and how much fun we all had.

Brian is a great person to work with, and is willing to do whatever it takes to make your vision come to life. He helped us come up with creative ideas, and made sure that every detail was considered. On the day of the wedding, we didn't want to worry about how the reception was going to run, and Brian did an excellent job of keeping events flowing and playing all of the music we wanted. In the last 4 years I have been to about 6 weddings, 3 of which used Brian Kelm as their DJ. There is such a huge difference in the quality of the reception between a "Brian Wedding" and a "Non-Brian Wedding." The weddings that didn't use Brian only had a fraction of the people on the dance floor and the rest were looking bored. For future brides- if there's one element you're going to invest in for your wedding, make it the entertainment- it's what everyone remembers!

The single most important expense at a wedding is the DJ, it can make or break the wedding. I highly recommend Brian, I used him for my wedding and have recommended him to a number of my friends who have used him.

Working with Brian was wonderful. He meet with us repeatedly prior to our wedding to ensure our wedding reception went perfectly. He did a superb just as MC/DJ. He might be more expensive than other DJ's out there but the amount of planning and effort he put forth made it all worth it. Highly recommend!

Brian Kelm not only provided us with quality service but he helped our night to be a night we will never forget, nor will our guests. Brian told us that the day after our wedding we would get phone calls from our guests stating how much fun they had- he was wrong, it only took 1 hour after the reception ended for the phone calls to start. Our wedding was over a year ago and our friends and family still talk about how much fun it was and how it was uncomparable to other receptions they have been to.

From my father the day after the wedding- (father of bride) 'I was not happy when I found out you hired a DJ from so far away and for so much money, but I need to tell you I'm sorry. Brian was worth every penny and I can't imagine what the reception would have been like without him there.'

Our wedding reception was a blast! We had family and friends dancing all night long, even our grandparents and great aunts and uncles. Thank you Brian for all of your work and dedication to help make our wedding reception an success and a wonderful memory.

We were looking for a DJ and what we found was an amazing guy with a sincere passion for entertaining. He was a wedding planner, vendor coordinator, and entertainment specialists all in one. He made numerous trips to our home and wedding location to meet with us and make sure everything was how we wanted and would go as planned. He offered hundreds of fantastic ideas and different approaches on how to make the day ours, not something cookie cutter like we have been to before. By the time the wedding day came, I could relax knowing that every detail was set and all we had to do was enjoy the day. I would have paid double for the experience we got from Brian. I have since recommended him to numerous other people for weddings and corporate events and have had tremendous feedback. People can't get enough of Brian. And we still have people talking about our wedding to this day, telling us how smooth it went and how much fun they all had. 85% of it was because of Brian. Look no further, you have found the best.

He was by far the best investment we made for our wedding! He was with us planning from day one and helped with every little detail. He came up with unique ideas to get people of different ages involved in our wedding and reception. He contacted each member of our bridal party personally to introduce himself and let them know what they should expect. He wrote up a very detailed wedding timeline and actually stuck to it, this helped us tremendously so we didn't have to write one up. If you want to keep your guests at your reception and you don't want them to leave, you want Brian Kelm!

Brian has been doing this for 20 years and it shows. I've never seen someone put more pride into their work, in any job, than Brian does into his weddings. He can come off a bit strong in his online communication at times, but he knows what he's doing and delivers excellent results. He helped us plan for a memorable reception, and then proceeded to blow our expectations away at the event itself. He did a phenomenal job, and had our wedding dancing for hours longer than we anticipated. He knows how to keep the energy going all night, and I credit him for helping to make our reception as fantastic as it was. It ended up being a dance party I'll never forget, and I'm sure he can deliver the same experience for you.

Brian was a very valuable asset for us during the planning process. I found his suggestions and advice extremely helpful in shaping our wedding day. When you talk to Brian, you can tell that he is extremely passionate about what he does. Our wedding day went very smoothly, and I would give Brian most of the credit for that due to his seamless performance. Especially if you have a group of people that are hard to excite, Brian will find a way to get them all involved and on the dance floor. Brian may come off as pushy and maybe slightly arrogant when you first talk to him, but that's only because he is unbelievably passionate about what he does and he truly wants to help make your wedding stress-free and memorable. My Bride and I couldn't of been any happier with the services we were provided by Brian Kelm Productions. His time and efforts were off the charts, spending many hours with us making sure our wedding fit what was right for us. Right from the start his attention to detail and energy were felt, and it carried all the way through our wedding. Brian was very helpful in creating a wedding that was very unique and exactly what we wanted. His excitement, attention to detail and passion was felt throughout the reception. We had a number of guests that said it was the "best wedding ever", "it was the most unique wedding", or even "me and my husband are getting married again and we will do it this way".

My suggestion would be to book Brian as early as possible in your planning process. He is very good at coordinating with your other vendors to make sure everything runs smoothly the day of your event. But, he also has great ideas that come in handy when choosing a venue, caterer, etc.

Brian will also make sure that you are holding up your end of the bargain as well. His experience over the years has lead to some great unique ideas for every aspect from planning, decorating, ceremony, fun reception ideas. Once you decide which of these ideas you want to implement, he will make sure you take the necessary steps to make them something you'll remember forever.

Brian has an amazing vision and ability to work with couples to create, plan, and conduct weddings that are unique to the couple. The planning sessions allowed me to think of things that I would not have thought about for a wedding; and they were a lot of fun and worked for my schedule.

He is also meticulous in the details and planning. He has your back and your best interests in mind throughout the whole process as he is working with you, your family/friends, and the other vendors.

He is also a master on the day of, coordinating all of the activities, keeping things moving, and having people participate. Our wedding was seamless and there was not anyone who did not say that they had one of the best times they have ever had at a wedding. He was also just asked us what music we wanted to have played and that is what got played. And we could make requests on the day of if needed.

Brian helped us make sure our wedding was planned perfect. He helped with situations that might occur that we had not thought of, he helped make sure all of our vendors were on the same page we were and always had an awesome attitude. It may seem like too much at times, but our guests had a blast and commented on how great the DJ was so for us, that meant it was worth the extra planning.

Great to work with. Definitely helped make our wedding reception go smoothly. Worked well with the guests...the dance floor was packed all night!

Brian is always willing to do anything that you may need even when I send him a million emails a day! He made the day almost flawless and he was an amazing entertainer.

Brian provided a great time for all our guests to enjoy. People not only danced the first few dances but every song played had a good size group of couples dancing. He also kept things moving in a timely fashion. I feel it was money well spent.

Brian was the DJ at my wedding almost 10 years ago. I would have to say that over all he did a very good job. He kept people on the dance floor all night long.

Brian was a great dj, especially the day of. He has very high standards which were a little exhausting during the planning process, but his work pays off on the wedding day. I would recommend Brian to another bride, but would warn her about the possibility of getting overwhelmed with details beforehand.
