    Absolutely recommend!

    I highly recommend Brian as a wedding DJ. He made my dreams come true! From the fluidity of his website to meeting with us to upon request to the timing of song changes on wedding day, he was flawless! His voice is perfection for his profession, as well.     Everyone who's looking for a fantastic and awesome DJ, please hire Brian. He is so awesome and done a great job at our wedding. Hes awesome at everything that you want or need with your wedding entertainment. Most of all my favorite thing about him is he doesn't treat you like just another client. He treats you like a friend!

    Great DJ! I was very happy with Brian and his wife. They were professional, friendly and very pleasant to work with. For the ceremony, he played what we asked and didn't make us feel silly or judged for the selection (as a couple other DJs I spoke to before hiring Brian did). For the reception, I made a list of songs and Brian played all the ones I indicated were special or important and played as many of the other songs he could in the time. He also played other songs and got people dancing and having fun (which was great because apparently my family are not very big dancers, we came to find out). I didn't serve alcohol at my wedding due to some personal issues with family members and my guest started heading the the bar downstairs, so I didn't get to play the Shoe Game as I had requested but it was NOT Brian's fault as he was spacing everything out appropriately and making me happy. Even with that hiccup, he remained professional and my guest all said they had a good time. My groom can be very demanding and tends to manage everything and Brian handled it very well that even my picky Groom was happy with him. I had a blast, my groom had a blast and I would definitely recommend him and his wife for a wedding!

    Brian was wonderful! His wife and himself were so personable and fit right in with me and my family. He was very flexible with his schedule and even stayed a couple hours after for us!!! He made sure that the night went smooth and definitely was the highlight of the party!

    Brian was a great wedding DJ! He provided a wide variety of music throughout the night that got people of all ages dancing and involved. He played the requested music and brought additional music too. He was engaging and fun! Would definitely recommend him for a wedding reception.

    Brian was amazing! First off, his voice is EXACTLY the voice you want for a DJ! He was very professional, helpful, and a blast! The guests at my wedding told me it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! Brian had people dancing and laughing and having a wonderful time! At one point, he had EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the dance floor! I will DEFINITELY be contacting Brian for any future events and he is 100% recommended to all of my friends and family! Wonderful DJ all around!!!

    Brian was AMAZING all around! I truly mean that he made our special day even more special! He was able to "read" our guests throughout the night and played music that pleased one after another. His voice is so perfect for this - you know, that type of famous-sounding voice that you want to listen to!? He has it!! He contributed so much fun and personality to our night, and to top it off - he is a super nice guy! It was like we had a family member DJing our wedding! We had an extraordinarily fun and exciting wedding - everyone commented on how fun it was. BRIAN was the master of ceremonies who made it happen! You would be making a mistake if you didn't get him for your event!

    I can not say enough about how fabulous DJ Brian Anderson was at our wedding! He got the crowd going and has an amazing sound system. He played music that everyone enjoyed and everyone stayed on the dance floor the entire night. He is well known in the area and everyone I know uses him for all their music/entertainment needs. If we ever need another DJ, we know who to call!

    Was an excellent entertainer! Helped make our special day complete with the perfect selection of songs to fit every age categories and made the reception fun for everybody . Was very professional and accommodating to anything we needed and also worked well with us as we had to change our date and he was flexible enough to help make this work out. Would recommend him to anyone that wanted a fun and entertaining DJ.

    It was wonderful to get a phone call from Brian to discuss what we needed for our wedding day. The communication via email and phone was wonderful. Brian even went the extra mile to find my wedding song that was not easy to find. Even when I told him that I had a back up song if he could not find it... he did not take the easy way out and use song #2 he made sure I had my first choice!
    His interaction with the guest and allowing everyone to put in a request and not missing a beat was perfect!

    Brian was the DJ at my wedding as well as 2 of my cousins weddings! We all LOVE HIM! He really works with you on what you want for your special day! I HIGHLY recommend him :)

    We had a wonderful wedding reception and Brian Anderson was a huge part of that! It was very easy to communicate our wants and needs with him prior to our wedding. He was very professional and provided everything we asked for. I would highly recommend him for any occasion.

    Brian A. was worth every dollar spent. He was professional, willing to play what ever was requested. He kept the party going. We would recomend for anyone looking for a dj.

    We had a unique situation for the wedding in which neither the bride nor the groom live in the Chattanooga area. Brian was receptive to calls and remote work in preparation for the wedding. Brian handled the wedding music and the reception. He did an excellent job in both and we could not have been more pleased with the service and the experience.

    This review is about Brian Anderson from alabamadj.com. When we first met this man we thought that he would be perfect to dj our wedding day. He was very down to earth and agreed to do whatever we wanted. We decided that we wanted to have certain songs played throughout the day including when people are seated, during dinner, and while dancing. He told us that if he didn’t have a song in his library that he would buy from iTunes and that he does that all the time. My wife and I sat down and put together a long list of songs that we would like to be played. We then emailed them to him three weeks before the wedding and told him that if there were any problems to contact us. The Monday before the wedding he emails us and says that we didn’t send the list of songs we wanted during the ceremony. So I had to call and give them to him one by one over the phone and asked again if he was able to get all the songs on our list. He again said yes, he had them. At the wedding rehearsal, which he didn’t think he needed to attend, he screwed up the song for the bridesmaids walking down the aisle and the coordinator at the facility where we had our wedding stepped in and kept him on a leash to make sure he didn’t screw that up the day of the wedding. During the day of the wedding, he did manage to get the ceremony music correct. While we were eating he played most of the songs we asked him to play. He managed to get the first dance songs correct as well. Then it went downhill. When the dancing began, he started off playing one or two of our songs but after that he played all these songs that we didn’t pick. I went to him to ask him to play from our list and he told me that he wanted to play songs to get people dancing. Later in the night, I went to him and requested one of the slower songs to dance with my wife and he informed me that he didn’t have it and that it wasn’t a radio hit. My wife said fine lets hook up my iPod. He didn’t have the adapter to play the iPod. The wedding planner then went up to him and gave him an earful about how he has to play what we put in our list and gave him the adapter needed to play the iPod. He played a couple more of our songs but was then back on his high and mighty horse about how it’s his job to get people dancing.
    The real reason I am writing this is how he acted the day after the wedding. We emailed him and told him that we didn’t appreciate how he didn’t play any of our songs and didn’t even have most of what was on our list. He said that he didn’t like getting chastised over not having one song. We told him it was that he played all this music that neither of us much cared for at our wedding. He went on to say that he should have charged more because he had to set up extra equipment, that he never told us about, and that the list was exhaustive and the music wasn’t good for dancing. He told us that if we wanted to have only a list of music played that we should have hooked up an iPod and hit shuffle. He ended it with saying that he was happy when the night was over because he was getting reprimanded by me and the wedding planner and couldn’t wait to get out of there. All the while he was drinking our liquor and smoking cigarettes every 10 minutes.
    This man is a poor professional and an awful dj if you are looking for someone to do a personal event like a wedding. He claims to be professional and have 20 years of service but he showed only a rude man saying one thing and doing another to have his way with the music. If he didn’t think the music could be danced to he should have said so. If you’re in the east Alabama, northwest Georgia area and this guy pops up in your search, keep looking.

    Sir,

    I HAVE been entertining weddings for over 20 years. I have NEVER had a complaint about my wedding services or a dissatisfied client. Even 20 years ago when I was a beginner DJ, all I had was success.

    I am not the DJ for everyone neither is everyone the client for me. There are just some people you cannot please.

    You had complete control, direction, and supervision of my services the whole event. You came up to me 10 minutes before the end of the reception and asked if I was playing from your list. I told you I had played most all of them earlier in the night. I stayed 30 minutes over scheduled end time of the reception and finished what I could.

    As far as the reharsal - it wasn't a glitch on my part. The bridesmaids just walked up the aisle the same time as the mothers and grandmothers. The rehearsal lasted a whole 10 minutes - I asked for a redo, I was told no. I am sorry you entrusted mere novices to assist you with the direction of your ceremony - I assure you the error wasn't mine.

    You emailed me an "Excessive" amount of music, yes. More than I could play for the alotted 5.5 - 6 hour reception as only so many songs can be played during a certain length of time. I guarantee I played 95% of ALL songs requested on your lists.

    As far as the request I missed having - I apologize. It should have been pointed out that the song was a must-play and was important to you. Sure, I carry and Iphone and am able to buy any song on the spot but there was no cellular service or wifi available. I did have an iPhone adapter in my vehicle.

    Noone reprimanded me - you came up and asked for songs and I played them. I took numerous requests from your guests all night, as well.

    It is my job as a DJ to play YOUR music but I still have to be able to take requests, play variety, and keep a packed dance floor for the majority of the evening like I did.

    I think the reason you missed out on so many of your songs that were on your play list was that you and your bride were hardly in the reception area throughout the evening - you would pop in from time to time and that is the reason you missed some music.


    I am sorry, but yes, I am a smoker and discreetly took a few breaks behind the building. As far as the bar, I was set up closeby and did visit and chat with the bartenders a few times. Unlike the venue owners you rented from, I in no way acted like a "guest" at your wedding like they did.

    Your poor review and rating does not really downgrade me as you cannot say I didn't deliver my product and perform it well.

    I will screen my clients (as all people in business should) from now on.
