Very skilled & professional!
We were VERY impressed with Brett (& his team) throughout our entire wedding day, and handful of days leading up to it. Choosing the best wedding photographer was/is VERY important to us, so my new husband & I were very excited to see (of course) how seriously Brett takes his job! spending our wedding day with us in the most SUPPORTIVE and pleasant way, while still getting straight to the point, very focused and hardworking! (Even when we had gotten into a slight time-crunch, to NO fault on vendor’s end, they were proactive, patient, professional, and kind! Thank you for getting our STUNNING sample photos to us so promptly also! This is QUALITY, & we’re so excited to see the rest of our wedding pics & vids in the coming months! -

Brett Munoz was our wedding photographer and videographer, and he was a pleasure to work with! Since the beginning when we were deciding which vendors to go with he always quickly responded with all questions. He communicated well throughout the entire process and was so professional. On the day of our wedding, he and his assistant photographer showed up before our appointment to set up and prepare for the photo shoot. He made us and our families feel comfortable and he captured beautiful moments of our wedding. We are very happy we hired Brett Munoz for our wedding and could not be happier with the end results! We will always treasure our wedding video and album because of his exceptional work.

I had my wedding on January 4, 2020, and hired Brett Munoz and his team to do my photography and videography. I was extremely pleased from the very beginning. When I first contacted him, he was quick to respond and schedule a date and time to meet up with me and my now husband to discuss wedding expectations, our wedding vision, and other highlights. Prior to the wedding and afterwards, he always keep great communication with us and followed through with our wedding timeline so that everything we wanted in picture and video was captured!!! We love our photos and wedding videos!! Nonetheless, we got the photo booth and that was a huge hit!!! I would contract again for future events!! -

Brett did an amazing job with our photos and videos! He had great ideas and locations for our engagement shoot, and he made it so fun and easy. Our wedding day was seamless. Brett and his team were on time, professional, and so creative! We received our photos and highlight video in a timely manner and the quality was amazing! We would highly recommend Brett Munoz! -

Obsessed with my wedding pictures!!
Brett was accommodating and understanding to our needs and wants. My husband was deploying over seas and Brett made sure to fit us in his schedule to shoot our engagement pictures! He was easily reachable and understood exactly our vision for our special day!! Overall, so thankful for his flexibility and for capturing our special day! -

Brett is amazing! He did my husband and my engagement photo shoot, maternity pictures, and my wedding and they all were very professional and gorgeous. Beyond the pictures and video, he is a very sweet man who we will continue to reach out to if we need photos taken in the future. One of my favorite vendors at our wedding! Highly recommend!! -

We were lucky to have found Brett and book him for photo and video for our wedding of March 2023! He was always quick to respond and answered all of our questions! He was so easy to work with day of and took such beautiful photos! I haven’t gotten my video back yet, but if it’s even half as beautiful as our photos- I’m sure the video will be breathtaking!! I recommend you talk with Brett and strongly consider hiring him for your wedding!! You won’t be disappointed!! -

User2237118 Sent on 07/22/2015Brett did our engagement and wedding photography and videography. Our photographs came out spectacularly! They're gorgeous, well-framed, and capture the day perfectly. I picked Brett in part because, based on his portfolio, he captures good night shots--not the motion-blurred, badly lit ones I saw from many other vendors. He didn't let us down; all of our night shots (and day shots!) are lovely! He also uses a drone to capture some really cool video angles--the kind that you don't really get anywhere else. -

I do not recommend this wedding photo & video company. My experience with Brett has been close to a nightmare. Here is our experience.
At the recommendation of a friend, we hired Brett for our Malibu wedding in August 2018. He showed up, had a crew of 3-4 assistants and everything seemed like it went smoothly.
After the wedding, we waited for the allotted time Brett had in his contract to complete the first round of edited photos and videos. Nothing arrived. We emailed him and got an email saying it would take longer but that it was somehow our fault. Odd, but we were in no rush.
The photos eventually came several weeks later and looked great (why the review is two stars instead of one). However, The video came and I was shocked. One third of the shots were blurry and out of focus. It looked like it was edited by someone in high school. When we asked him about it and if the blurry shots could be removed, he said it was a blurry effect. I run a business with five video editors on staff and understand the difference between out of focus and an effect. I should have saved it to post it here so others could be shocked at the poor quality.
We expressed our frustration at the blurry video and also asked why the first grooms speech wasn't recorded. He said him and his entire team were eating and didn't know the speeches were happening. Again, not the answer I was expecting from a professional with a team on site. Upon hearing this speech had been missed... my wife cried. Everything we had an issue with, Brett would argue with us over email saying it was somehow our fault. This happened again, and again and again.
After a few rounds we became fed up and just asked if we could part ways nicely and hire someone else to finish up the editing. Nope. We then were told he had all the rights to the footage and would not be releasing it to us. My wife cried for a second time.
At this point, it's now several months past our wedding. We have no photos and no videos we can share with friends or family. With few other options besides arguing, hiring a lawyer or giving up completely. We post a two star review for his company on google. We received a call later that day from Brett asking us to remove it. He refunded a small portion of what we paid saying it would now be ok if I had someone else edit it. Instead of asking that our review be taken down, he demands it from us and wants something in writing that we will never leave a bad review for him again.
I was so frustrated and worn out that I sent the money back to him and said it would be worth it to help others avoid the same issues. We parted ways and that was it... until today.
17 months after our wedding. I get an email from Brett saying my bad review was brought to his attention by one of his clients. 5 minutes later, a two star review shows up on my company page (I'm the CEO of an Advertising Agency) talking about taxes and illegal payments to his company??? Then Brett writes "let's do each other a favor and remove both the reviews". SAY WHAT??? I'm now being blackmailed by my crazy wedding photographer. Seriously, I can't get rid of this guy. Bottom line. Avoid headaches after your wedding and work with someone else.Brett Munoz's reply:
I always try to maintain a high level of professionalism and always strive to make sure clients are happy. This couple was upset their video package did not come with highlights and their photos did not come with an album or retouching however, this was clear from the outset when they signed the contract for our basic package. With regards to the speeches, the coordinator provided us with utensils and excused us to eat and we even excused ourselves from the bride and groom. They then decide to start speeches right as we are sitting down to eat, we responded quickly and only missed the beginning of the first speech. I tried going above and beyond to make the client happy including returning money, offering retouched prints and extra video editing however, it was returned by the client when I wouldn't agree to fill a W9 tax form so he could write off his wedding as a business expense (illegal) under the business Advertisemint. They also threatened me with negative reviews. I have all the emails if anyone would like to review. -
