We chose Brendan Beale Photography for our wedding!! From the very beginning Brendan was so helpful, responsive, and professional. We felt immediately happy with our choice upon our first encounter with him! Brendan was BY FAR our favorite vendor we worked with for our wedding! Our wedding had multiple location's, and despite the challenge, Brendan was on it! He managed to capture amazing photos of the wedding and the reception! One thing that really stood out to me was Brendan’s kindness when he was speaking with us and our families. Our families are the most important people in our lives so seeing Brendan treat them with such respect and understanding made our wedding experience that much better!! I am so so so happy with the photos he took!! They are absolutely gorgeous! I have noticed over the years that a lot of professional photographers will over-edit pictures or darken shadows too much! We DID NOT run into that problem with our pictures! They are vibrant, beautiful, and he did an excellent job of enhancing my family members natural beauty!!! I could not be more pleased and I could not recommend Brendan enough!! My family said all the same things to me about him and their experience! Some of my siblings told me they will be booking him for future events:)
Brendan made our whole wedding last a lifetime and I am beyond thankful for that blessing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Brendan. -

We could not have been more pleased with Brendan as our photographer for our November wedding. From the point of first contact, he was responsive and professional. He wanted to get to know us personally, which would inform his photography on the day. Talking to Brendan feels like talking to an old friend. He so obviously enjoys what he does and that translates to beautiful, personal images. He will capture little moments you will remember forever. His photos are the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen. -

We absolutley love Brenden! He did our engagement and wedding photos. From the first meeting he was friendly, warm, and professional.
I appreciated his style, specifically his use of color (warm and cool colors), while my wife appreciated his ability to capture emotions and special moments.
We also appreciated his ability to direct guests with a calm, confident, and friendly approach. A few of our guests even commented that they appreciated his direction--confident but polite and respectful, whereas other wedding photographers were "too type A" for them. Brenden made everyone feel at ease, which shows in the photos and our video.
Bonus points because he recognized half the songs on our playlist!
Overall, when looking for a photographer we learned that personality is as important as competence. With Brenden, you get both! We absolutely would recommend all of our friends to use his services. -

Connecting with Brendan was such a seamless process and we couldn't be happier with how our day turned out. He was able to capture exactly what we were looking for in our engagement shoot and our wedding day photos. I haven't been able to stop going through the album since it was finished!!
Brendan was super fun to work with during our engagement shoot and was our right hand man on the day of the wedding. He also was the BEST at coordinating alongside our other vendors and made sure to capture all of the special moments on our wedding day. The turnaround of shooting the photos to getting our complete album was pretty quick as well. I've been literally showing the wedding photos to anyone who will look at them because I just love them so much!
It was such a pleasure working with Brendan in capturing the best day of our lives! -

I cannot express how thankful I am that we picked Brendan as our wedding photographer. I knew I loved his photography style from his Instagram, and in particular I was looking for someone in the Baltimore area who had a more rich and vibrant style of photography as opposed some of the more washed out wedding photographs I had seen in the past. He ended up being genuinely even better than I could have imagined. We booked Brendan for one hour for our quick courthouse ceremony in Annapolis and photos by the water after, and then three hours the following Saturday for our reception at La Cuchara, and not only were his photos perfect but he also was a joy to have at our wedding and reception. I genuinely love every picture, every pose, every location. His talent is insane and in my opinion a good photographer is going to be the best money you can spend for a wedding, because it defines how you’ll look back on that day for the rest of your life. I cannot recommend Brendan highly enough. Book him!!! -

Brendan is amazing!
Brendan is amazing! He is great at maintaining a timeline without being overbearing and he has an amazing way of getting the shot even when you don’t think he can! We had sneak peaks within an hour of our even being done and the full gallery less than a week later! Over 600 pictures! Amazing service!
I have nothing but great things to say about Brendan! Firstly, Our wedding pictures are absolutely stunning! He captured all the details, emotions and moments so beautifully! Secondly, he was very professional and communicative throughout the entire process and was very pleasant to work with! Lastly, PRICING! It is difficult to find reasonable pricing here in the DMV area with GREAT QUALITY! We absolutely loved that Brendan’s pricing was not only reasonable but he even offered discount packages for FREE engagement sessions, which we absolutely took advantage of and of course they came out so beautifully as well! I honestly couldn’t have found a better photographer for our wedding. Brendan was on top of things and captured nearly every special moment from our big day. Every time someone pulled out their phone to take a picture, he was right there! We didn’t hire a videographer but my husband and I will be able to remember this day well through the years just by going through the beautiful photos that Brendan took. He has a special gift for capturing the best in couples. I strongly recommend that you contact him and book him for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed! -

Hiring Brendan as your photographer is one of the best things you can do in planning your wedding. Before the wedding he was incredibly clear in his communication. On the day of, he perfectly captured our day. He was great at interacting with family and guests. We took great posed pictures before everything started, and once the ceremony and reception was going on, he captured so many genuine moments. Our pastor commented that he was one of the best wedding photographers because he was clearly capturing the moments, but was never interfering with the service or getting in the way. Brendan was amazing to work with! We used him for our engagement shoot and our wedding day and if we could do it again, we absolutely would! He was extremely professional and easy to communicate with and also generally nice to be around. He worked with us on schedule and really helped us piece together the day by providing insight on his past experiences which was so amazing. All our family, wedding party and guests loved how present he was during the reception to capture the party and he was really great at wrangling everyone for wedding party/family photos. As for the images, Brendan has a keen eye for composition and is great at capturing the important moments in a stylistic lens. We have received so many compliments on our wedding photos and some friends have said they were the best they've seen. Brendan was able to capture wedding party photos in the church parking lot and you would never know that's where those photos were taken. He's incredible at what he does and we feel so lucky we were able to have him make our day so special. Thank you so much Brendan! It was an absolute pleasure to have Brendan as our wedding photographer! Our special day was captured so perfectly in his photography - from shots that showed the love between me and my husband to the ones that showed the humor and fun throughout the day, our wedding album depicts every emotion that was felt that day. Brendan made sure to take every shot that we requested, and directed us on how to pose for more shots that turned out amazing. He was incredibly professional and organized through the whole process, and was so much fun to have around too! We hired Brendan for our 10/12/2024 wedding and he was simply amazing! Brendan had a few calls with us prior to the wedding to discuss our vision for photos. But the most helpful pre-wedding call we had with Brendan was to go over the timeline for our wedding day. We did not have a wedding planner (just a day-of coordinator), and Brendan’s timeline for photos was super helpful for us to plan our WHOLE wedding day timeline in general.
On the wedding day, Brendan was such a calming presence, especially when I was getting a little overwhelmed during group photos. Brendan always asked if we were doing okay, if we needed anything, if we wanted to take a break. My entire wedding party commented how efficient he was, getting the photos we wanted but keeping us on track with specific directions.
Throughout the reception, Brendan got a lot of really great shots of not only the dance floor, but sweet moments of us connecting with friends and family. We are so pleased with the photo gallery! Brendan took elegant traditional family and couple portraits, but he also took some very intimate editorial photos of my husband and I that look straight out of a Vogue shoot! These were exactly the type of photos I envisioned hanging on the walls of our home.
Finally, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention just how much of a good guy Brendan is. Brendan is personable and easy to talk to, he’s kind and funny, and the way he interacted with our guests felt like he was just another friend at the wedding! Finding Brendan to be our photographer was easily the best vendor choice we made.
