    A place for a bride to really feel seen!

    Allison and Amira made my wedding dress selection experience very special! The store has a ton of options, but they really want to hear what your style is, look over your photo inspirations, and are just overall interested in your wedding itself. Even though I thought I had an idea of my ideal dress in mind, they showed me loads of other beautiful dresses I wouldn't have thought of! The 'one' actually was my last try for the day and Allison hit it right out of the ball park! Amira really took time to help me with my vision and talked hair/veil with me to make the final look perfect. We had shopped elsewhere the week before, but the service we received here was fantastic and I found the dress of my dreams. Thank you Breeze Boutique ladies!

    Love them!

    I had the best experience here! I'm not a fan of trying on dresses, but I had so much fun! Amira helped me and made me feel like I was her best friend! She was so sweet and made me feel so beautiful in all of the dresses I tried on. She knew exactly what she was doing and brought me all of the stuff I needed. She was amazing and I'm so happy she was there to help me! :)

    Great selection and even better service

    I went shopping with a friend who was getting married to multiple bridal shops in the area and Breeze has the best selection by far! Not only did they pick out the perfect dress for my friend, they also picked out a wide variety of styles for my friend to try on. The staff were so attentive to what my friend wanted and also respected her families wishes. Very impressed with the professionalism during the appointment and experience overall. Will definitely be returning to find my own wedding dress here and recommending to all my engaged friends!

    Love love love

    Absolutely LOVE Breeze! They have the best wedding gowns in Columbia, MO! The bridal consultants are so helpful and very good at what they do! My wedding dress was the second one I tried on and I knew it was the one! Just from giving them a few ideas of what I liked, they pulled so many fabulous dresses and made it so easy for me and stress free!

    Had a fabulous experience at Breeze!

    I came into browse the bridal section the other day and was helped by bridal consultant, Sierra! She was extremely helpful and such a sweet girl. I’m excited for my upcoming appointment with her and ready to try these fabulous dresses!

    The shop sells all kinds of dresses from casual to cocktail to formal, bridesmaids, bridal, you name it. They also have lots of pretty bridal accessories. The owner was so sweet and helpful, and not pushy. I ended up buying a sample dress & getting a great discount. When I got it home & looked it up online, I found out it was supposed to come with a sash. I called the owner & she ordered the sash for me free and without any hassles at all. They do not have an in-house seamstress for alterations, but she recommended a lady in town who does a lot of the tailoring for her customers. Great little store.

    Strict return policies

    I went in to try on wedding dresses. They have a wonderful selection and a staff that gets to know you and your wedding style. I ended up getting a dress from them, which was exciting! With all the emotions from the day I ended up buying the veil I tried on with the dress. It is a very expensive veil and not worth the money. I was not expecting to buy a dress that day so I had to put it on layaway and put a deposit down. (I drove from Kansas City). I was totally fine with picking it up later on. I contacted them the next day, because my aunt wants me to wear her veil, about taking the veil off the purchase. All sales are final even layaway. Which was not explained to me when I put the dress and veil on layaway. They told me that they would see and that they wouldn't be able to let me know if they could get it off the purchase until I came and picked up the dress. Which made me feel like they weren't even going to try to get the veil off. I went and picked up the dress and they told me that they wouldn't be able to take the veil off, because it was on the same contract. They could take the veil off the contract but the half I already paid for the purchase I would not get back. Meaning I would have to repurchase my dress without the veil and lose the money I had already put down. I left upset, and that after I was able to take my dream dress home. Overall the staff is helpful and knowledgeable but I did feel like I was haggled into buying the veil.

    Bought a wedding dress from Breeze

    Shopping for a wedding dress for your daughter is fun but can be a little overwhelming. My daughter had a certain style in mind but this was her first appointment to shop for her wedding dress and wasn’t expecting to purchase that day. She found a dress that was almost what she wanted but it needed a few changes. Nora assured her the seamstress she recommended could do exactly what she wanted because she made wedding dresses. We still weren’t sure and wanted to think about it. The dress had just been put on sale and she told my daughter it would probably be gone if she didn’t but it that day. She tried the dress on again and decided to buy it. We made an appointment with the recommended seamstress and she told us she could not do the alterations we wanted. I mentioned to her about making wedding dresses and she look at me funny and said she didn’t make wedding dresses. She made a few suggestions took a few measurements and gave us a quote for the alterations that had to be paid in full before we left that day. 3 months later we finally heard from her for a fitting and it still wasn’t what we wanted. She did refund our money but we had to search for someone else in hopes the changes could be made to the dress. If you shop at Breeze for a wedding dress beware if the dress needs a lot of alterations. We did find someone in St. Louis to make the dress perfect but it was very stressful! Don’t let Breeze convince you to buy a dress if your not sure! Our big mistake!

    Awful experience

    We placed on order on 08/2021 for a custom piece. At the time of ordering, I told Amaira (whom I found later was the owners daughter) that we needed the piece by 10/01/2021. Amaira told me that she was at market and would see if the vendor could make the dress in enough time, as their standard production would be Nov 2021.

    Moments later; Amaira called me back and told me that she could get the piece to me by the first week of October, but not necessarily 10/01/2021.

    I told her that would be fine. She told me I needed to have measurements to her ASAP, as this particular day was “cutting day” for the vendor. We drove 1hr to the nearest dress store to get fitted.

    We had the measurements sent, and Amaira advised us to go to PayPal and pay for the material. Moments later; it was complete.

    Fast forward to 10/08/2021 (the end of the first week of October) I contacted Breeze Boutique questioning the where abouts of the order. I was told that they were “checking on the order”. Hours later, I was informed that the dress was on its way.

    10/14/2021 came, and still no merchandise. I then sent a text message saying please do not ship the item; as the wear date is 1.5 weeks away and there isn’t time for alterations anymore.

    Instead of receiving a reply, I got a email hours later from UPS saying the order had been picked up and was scheduled for an over nignt delivery.

    10/16/2021, I receive an email stating that the merchandise is was delivered at the front door.

    Still, too late, I began calling the store asking for a refund. Amaira refused. She told me I could file a dispute on PayPal. I proceeded to file.

    PayPal informed me that due to evidence text they would have refunded the money, however the store claimed that it was a “custom order” and PayPal can’t assist with and custom order claims. (Which leads me to believe why they have you order on PayPal)

    Over the last three months, I’ve been trying to get this resolved.

    Today, a manager named “Nora” assisted me. Absolutely 0 help. Told me that she doesn’t have a “valid reason” to escalate the case to anyone higher. Told me that when I clicked confirm on the website, that the ship date was end of October. I explained that over the phone and via text, Amaira confirmed that this order would be completed by 10/07/2021.
    Nora, explained that the text said “The pieces would be to them by the beginning of October.
    I explained that the store was very well aware that I needed to by the first week of October. Not the 16th, 1.5 weeks later. Let me be clear, Nora is also the Owners daughter…also Amairas sister.

    I asked to speak with the owner, of which she told me that she didn’t have a valid reason to send to owner. Knowing dang well, he’s only a phone call away since it’s her dad. We are still fighting with them after months.

    My recommendation is to avoid the entire place, or make SURE it an item in stock.

    How hard would it have been to explain that it’s a family business? Instead, I got the run around when I asked if there was someone higher. . “There’s a lot of managers, but we all handle our own departments”
    When asking to speak to the owner, I was told “There just isn’t a valid reason to send the order higher”

    Be very cautious shopping here. As a multi business owner myself, I’m appalled.

    Bad Business

    On 3/20/19 I drove my daughter to Breeze in Columbia, MO after she had seen several prom dresses that she was interested in on their website. They claimed to have these dresses in stock. We made an appointment at their request. My aunt also drove 3 hours from Overland Park, KS to meet us. This was a big day. First prom.  

    When we arrived at the store, they didn’t have any of the dresses she wanted in stock. Reluctantly, my aunt convinced her to try a few on. We filled out a paper when we arrived that asked for our name, the school, and our budget.

    My daughter tried on the dresses and became more and more aggravated due to the sales lady’s rude attitude. My daughter showed her the dresses on her phone that she had seen online. She claimed none could be ordered. When My daughter had finally given up, she brought us one that was black with a floral pattern and a sweetheart neckline. She wanted a black dress but no floral and not a sweetheart neckline. She tried it on and she liked it ok, but the dress was the wrong size. I stepped to the side to take a work call. When I came back she had changed out of it. I explained to the lady how it did not fit her. She came back and magically she could order it in her size, even though she couldn’t order any of the ones we wanted. And of course it was $750, one of the most expensive in the store. I told my daughter if it was “the one” I would get it. We wanted to leave to go eat and think about it. At this point, the lady was not letting us leave without the dress. My daughter was getting upset but said fine she would take it. As I stood at the counter I could see that my daughter was upset, I kept asking her if she was ok. I stood at the counter for 10 mins giving our personal and mailing information. 

    We left with nothing except a receipt. 

    As soon as we got to the car, my daughter burst into tears saying how much she hated the dress. She was having a panic attack due to the way things in the store were handled. The rude, aggressive sales lady and the sheer disappointment of the store not offering anything that we had drove 3.5 hours in hopes of buying. 

    I called the store after calming down my daughter and explained that my daughter hated the dress and I wanted to cancel the order. I spoke with Amira. She told me she would have to call me back. When Amira finally called me back, she said that they were able to cancel the order, but would not refund my card. They also offered us in store credit. 

    Here is my problem. I could see possibly not allowing a return if I had actually left the store with a dress. Which I did not. The order was canceled and the dress never shipped. At no point during the process of standing in front of a sales associate did anyone mention a cancellation policy. Also, I was told there was a “small shipping charge” $65 is not a small shipping charge. 

    Also, I asked to have the option to purchase a dress from their online store...they refused. We just spent 2 hours in their store and they didn’t have anything my daughter wanted. Their website is false advertising. She also expressed that they were low on inventory since prom was only a couple of months away. 

    They are literally holding $878.56 hostage from me and the only thing I have to show for it is the piece of paper I left the store with. At no point have I ever been in possession of any merchandise from their store. 

    Fast forward to the past week. I have made several attempts to contact the store through email, phone, Facebook and text. Finally speaking with with a girl who said sorry. We do not have an I store credit for you. So. To this day, I have no dress, and no credit. They however have my $878. DO NOT trust this store!! Bad bad business!!

    You won't get your dress!

    Buyer beware: Do not purchase from this company if you expect to receive the dress you purchased! I purchased a dress from them that was marked as "in stock" and then received a text message from them almost a week later stating the dress was now sold out and would not be shipped. This is not acceptable for a high end dress store. They should have an accurate inventory system to prevent double selling an in stock dress. They did not even have decent enough customer service to apologize in the text message, let alone offer something to help make up for their error.

    The store is very dirty. they want to sell an old dress under a new cover. they don't accept return dressed.

    I tried to return the dress because was cheated. it was very expensive but they refuse to accept returning it.
