Tremendous

My husband and I got married on Friday April 9th, 2021. Due to all things covid this was our postponed date. Our original date was September 26th, 2020. Postponing and wedding planning for our destination wedding in the Finger Lakes was hard enough. Trying to navigate a pandemic and the rules and regulations was even harder. Angel/DJ Ara and Breakthrough Entertainment went above and beyond to help make us feel reassured in the unknowns of wedding planning. Angel was fantastic through all the phone and video calls. My husband and I keep talking about wanting to redo our wedding just to have Angel DJ again. The music was fantastic and he did a great job incorporating any and all requests. We highly recommend him to anyone. With all the unknown of the Pandemic it was reassuring to know that Breakthrough Entertainment would work with us on what we decided was best even when we postponed.

Professional Amazing DJs & Emcees Well Worth the Money

The team at Breakthrough Entertainment is absolutely amazing and I can't recommend them enough. I absolutely love working with DJ Naps, Melinda, and the team at Breakthrough. As a wedding planner, it's important to me that I work with other wedding professionals that have integrity, professionalism, and will take care of my clients. Mike and his team are extremely professional and amazing at what they do. Melinda is super organized and responsive and their DJ's always get the party going and keep it going! They also make great Emcees, which is so important to me as the planner as they're moving the day along from one micro-event to the next. I recently had the pleasure of working with Mike, Melinda, and DJ Hogan on a wedding and, despite all the challenges this pandemic has brought, they were professional, responsive, flexible, and cognizant of keeping everyone safe. The music and cues went very smoothly and everyone loved the mixes by DJ Hogan. I'm so grateful we have Breakthrough Entertainment here in Rochester and highly recommend them to everyone. I look forward to working with them on many more weddings and events.

Amazing experience!

Working with Mike (DJ Napps) was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We were overwhelmed with finding a DJ at first, but after hearing from a friend who had attended a wedding he played RAVE about his skills, we immediately looked him up.

Right from the start we were met with quick responses and clear information (Melinda, the general manager at Breakthrough was absolutely wonderful to work with when we first inquired). Mike was flexible with setting up meeting times, and amazing when it came to helping us map out the night, and really got our timeline nailed down (he was like an event planner and DJ rolled into one). He made us feel more than confident that every aspect, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, was going to be perfect.

He and his team exceeded every expectation, and truly made it a night we will never forget. Every song he played was exactly the kind of music and vibe we were hoping for, and he kept the energy going throughout the entire reception. We still have people talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away -- there wasn't a time when the dance floor wasn't completely full!

I cannot recommend them enough, so if you are on the fence, or are just finding Breakthrough Entertainment, look no further, these guys are the BEST.

DJ A-Live was a blast!

We hired DJ A-Live (Adam Main) as our DJ for our wedding in May. He was so flexible and professional with every meeting and delivered a perfect night! My husband and I have very conflicting tastes in music and he was able to craft together an incredible playlist for our cocktail hour that reflected us. He had never been to our venue but researched the layout and had no problems with sound or set up. He directed the whole entire night perfectly and kept the music and energy going until the end. He made special requests for shout outs and found a couple of Greek dancing songs for my husband's family. The music reflected exactly what we planned for and DJ A-live was a blast!

Angel did an amazing job at our wedding on 7/26/19. He was extremely helpful, professional and kind. His organization and responsiveness made planning the music at our wedding very easy. Amazing DJ

Angel (DJ Ara) DJ'd our wedding this August and it was flawless. He took care of getting the timeline for the day created and keeping everything organized from start to finish. We even had a few last minute things pop up during our dances that he accommodated on the fly to keep everything moving seamlessly. I'd 100% call him again for any other DJ needs in the future!

Amazing Wedding Experience!

DJ Crewz at Breakthrough DJ just did my wedding and I couldn't have been happier! He was able to keep the wedding timeline, while staying flexible to changes AND he was able to keep guests on the dance floor! (my number 1 priority!). It was a flawless wedding thanks to DJ Crewz! I HIGHLY recommend DJ Crewz & Breakthrough DJ!

Dj ara was amazing!

We had great service from DJ ARA! He mixed all types of music together to make it more like a club atmosphere. He had the dance floor packed all night long. We had a blast thanks to him! We are so particular with music that we love and he met all of our requests. He was super personable and professional. We would highly recommend him for a great party!!!!!

The very best wedding dj!

I want to take the opportunity to thank the team that made our wedding a true celebration, BreakThrough Entertainment led by the talented Mike DjNaps Napoli.

Mike DjNaps Napoli was the VERY FIRST vendor we reached out to for our wedding. In fact, we cleared our possible wedding dates with him prior to booking our venue because it was so important to us to have him DJ at our wedding.

I had the pleasure of working with Mike at the University of Rochester for various events, and I knew that when I got married, I wanted him to be our DJ. Many people thought I was crazy for wanting a DJ from upstate New York when we are in the tri-state area with plenty of great DJ companies, but having worked with Mike before, I knew he was in a league of his own and would execute our wedding exactly as we wanted- and he did indeed!

We had a very specific musical vision as we had a traditional Orthodox Jewish ceremony and a more secular party. We opted for a band for the ceremony, and Mike worked seamlessly with our band- alternating between DJ and band for our ceremony.

Mike was a fantastic MC, following our wedding timeline to a T and keeping the energy of our wedding up all night long.

We also had Breakthrough Entertainment provide our photo booth, which added a great activity and was a lot of fun for our wedding guests to enjoy. We got all of the digital copies of the photos from the booth- both composites and individual photos- immediately after our wedding, which was great to share with guests and have in addition to our photographer's photos.

Overall, it is Breakthrough Entertainment's professionalism, performance and personalities, that make them the very best DJs in the tri-state area. If you're looking for your Wedding Entertainment, look no further than BreakThrough Entertainment!

DJ Hogan is Amazing!!

We are so happy we went with Breakthrough Entertainment, and DJ Hogan to be our DJ. He made our special day perfect and personal. He made time to talk to us several times leading up to the wedding and was very good about being organized and had tons of great ideas for how to have a spectacular party. He really pays attention to details, and took things he heard from the speeches into account (example my love of The Beatles and Red Sox), and would incorporate that into the music played. DJ Hogan is so friendly and is the best DJ I have seen! I have recommended them to several friends getting married, and would definitely hire him again!!

DJ Hogan was absolutely incredible. He had many suggestions to help us keep the party going, what order to do things in that made the most sense for our timeline and to keep our guests happy, and was very professional. He checked in with the bride & groom regularly (but without being distracting) to make sure everything was going to plan, and made sure to play our favorites for us. He also did a great job mixing songs together so that transitions from one song to another made sense, and he put our requests into an order that kept the party going all night long. I loved working with him and recommend him to anyone in the market for a wedding/party DJ.

We lived out of town from our wedding. DJ Ara spoke with us on the phone before booking which made us feel comfortable and confident. We had a final meeting where we went through some cultural specific songs we needed and announcements. Dj Ara came to the rehersal to ensure everyone was on the same page. Everything went so smoothly. He kept the dance floor filled all night. He got all of the songs we needed, and edited our first dance just like we needed. His calming demeanor brought a good energy to the wedding, and he has an excellent taste in music. He really tailored songs appropriately throughout the night. I just couldnt have asked for anything better. We highly recommend him.

We used DJ Jestyr for our daughter's wedding and he did a great job! Stuck with the couple's list for music, kept the dancing going. They had several meetings with him and we met with him once as well to make sure everything went according to plan and it went very smoothly. Everyone enjoyed the music, the lighting was perfect for our venue at the Century Club in Rochester. Dave was very easy to work with and professional and personable. Would highly recommend him and Breakthrough to anyone hosting a wedding.

BreakThrough was awesome! DJ Chris Sweet was our DJ for our wedding and we are so thankful for him! He was fantastic throughout the whole planning process & wedding night. The planning sheets online were so helpful & the uplighting in the venue was perfect. The microphones for the ceremony & speeches were perfect. Chris was amazing and my family & friends loved him!

Our photobooth attendant was also amazing! Everyone loved all of the props that BreakThrough provided and my family couldn't step away from the photobooth. I received all the pictures (both singles and the printed versions) just a few days after the wedding and I couldn't be happier with them!

I definitely recommend BreakThrough for all of your wedding music & photobooth needs!

We used DJ Sweet for our wedding and everything was perfect! People cannot stop talking about how much they loved the music at our wedding. People were dancing non-stop, and that's exactly what we wanted. We also used Breakthrough for our photo booth, another hit! I would highly recommend Breakthrough for both DJ services and the photo booth. The whole night went so smooth, and a huge part of that is thanks to DJ Sweet for being so accommodating and working with our vendor, so we didn't have one thing to worry about!

We were referred to BreakThrough by our friends after going to their wedding and loving their DJ. After browsing their website and watching the DJ videos (highly recommend doing this to help you pick a DJ!) we ended up picking DJ ARA (Angel) and we could not have been any happier. We met with Angel on a few separate occasions to plan our event and he was always accommodating to our schedule and requests while planning. Getting through all of the details leading up to the wedding almost seemed TOO EASY!

When it came down to wedding day, I honestly cannot thank Angel enough for nailing EXACTLY what we wanted when it came to our music. We had requests all over the place (obscure songs, classic rock, EDM) and he put together such a beautiful blend of music throughout the entire night. The dancefloor was NEVER empty. Angel did a great job mixing old and new, and keeping guests of all ages happy!! My bride and I have had so many compliments from our guests about the music at our wedding. I cannot thank DJ ARA enough for making our night the biggest party of our life!!! THANK YOU!!!!

We worked with Adam (DJ Live) and he was by far the best part of the wedding services. Angel (DJ ARA) from Breakthrough Entertainment was our DJ and I cannot say enough positive things about him or Breakthrough as a whole. From our pre-wedding meeting with Angel I knew that everything in relation to the music and lighting for our wedding was going to be great and I was absolutely correct the day of. Angel followed through on exactly what we wanted with music and our dance floor was literally packed the entire time. The uplights were a great addition and definitely make a difference. Breakthrough and DJ A_Live did an incredible job on our wedding day. To say DJ A-Live (Adam) is top notch is an understatement!! He was professional, punctual & prepared from our very first meeting! He is easy to talk to & was always available if we had questions or wanted to make changes. He has plenty of experience to offer suggestions if you are unsure of something but never made us feel like we didn't have options or it had to be done a certain way.
At the wedding, Adam kept things on track and always knew what was coming next keeping things running smoothly. He was fun!! He made it possible for my groom & I to mingle & dance with our guests without having to worry about being in charge of keeping things moving. It was wonderful!! Adam had it covered!! Angel - DJ Ara was referred to us by my close friend & we couldn't be more happier that we chose to work with him! He was so easy to work with & fun & professional all at the same time. Finding a DJ for your big day is not an easy task. You ask yourself, will they be energetic and fun? Will they get everyone out on the dance floor? Will everyone dance all night and have the time of their lives? Once we found Adam, we knew he would be the one to answer "yes" to all of our questions. From the beginning he was so professional and personable. Adam was sure to keep constant communication with us to answer all our questions and provide recommendations. When i walked into our reception, the entire room was unlighted and looked absolutely amazing! Our wedding was one for the books with Adams help. Everyone got on the dance floor and NEVER left! Our families are still talking about how much fun the wedding was and how great our DJ was. If you want someone to make your special day the most memorable, Adam is the one.

My Husband and I met multiple times with owner, Mike Napoli (DJ Naps) to ensure our wedding reception was exactly as we had imagined. Everything from the lighting, interaction with our guests and of course the music was exactly what we DREAMED it would be. Since our wedding this past November we have had multiple friends and family meet with and book Breathrough for their special event. We were recommended to Breakthrough by our Wedding Planner, Lisa, with Limedrop Events. We were going back and forth between band vs. DJ- but we definitely made the right choice. We got the photobooth- which has a great backdrop and was very easy to use, the uplighting which I highly recommend as it really added to the reception look, ceremony and reception music. We spent the extra money to have Mike (DJ Naps) as our DJ- and we cannot say enough about working with him or how the event turned out. We got married on New Year's Eve- and Mike did some amazing things to make sure our day was perfect. He was able to set up the ceremony seamlessly, perfectly incorporated our requests, and made sure the whole crowd was on the dance floor all night. Nobody wanted the party to end! One of the most amazing things he did for us was to help us with a voiceover for the ceremony. We took a song and recorded ourselves talking about each other and our love story. We emailed it to Mike and he created one of those memorable parts of our wedding. He did an incredible job and although it was a surprise to the guests - there was not a dry eye in the house!

He also helped us to acquire a confetti cannon for midnight- it was perfect! We are still receiving feedback from guests saying this was the best DJ ever at a wedding. Thanks Mike!

We had Adam aka DJ A-live dj our wedding and he did a PHENOMENAL job!! He is an amazing dj who really took the time to get to know our music style. Everyone at our wedding was super impressed by him and told us what an incredible job he did! The dance floor was packed the entire night! DJ Naps, Mike Napoli, is the absolute best, not just a DJ but a Master of Ceremonies at my daughter's wedding. He kept the party hopping with songs everyone could dance to and they did! A real professional using clean songs and with no stopping between songs, everyone kept dancing all night long. Thank you Mike for a wonderful evening!

DJ Naps, AKA Mike Napoli, ROCKED our wedding! We had an exceptional experience with both Breakthrough Entertainment and him. He did our wedding procession music, cocktail hour and reception. He was very professional, extremely accommodating and most importantly delivered great music day of. The wedding dance floor was epic, the whole crowd was on the floor for the entire evening. Don't bother looking at any other DJs! Every single one of my vendors was stoked to hear I was using Breakthrough, and for good reason! DJ Tim Tones brought the house down! We wanted a party, and he gave us a party.

The music for our wedding day was a super important part of the event for us, so we wanted to make sure we had the best person taking care of it. And we did thanks to DJ Naps!! He took the time to make sure everything was perfect beforehand and played everything we wanted throughout the night, so much so that I couldn't be pulled off the dance floor! Our guests are still raving about the music at our wedding and how much fun they had dancing. I would recommend DJ Naps to everyone!

We had Adam for our DJ for our wedding, and we were super impressed with his emcee ability as well as his DJ skills. He was upbeat, energetic and kept our crowd going all night. Our dance floor was never empty, and he was able to get people up dancing that typically like to sit back and watch. We had a great experience while doing our planning, and he was very helpful with suggestions for music choices when we were out of ideas. Overall, the day was great, and we owe a large part of that to Adam!!

Now that I've had time to settle down and take in what occurred over the weekend, I just wanted to take a moment and say "WOW." I am utterly speechless as to how satisfied and happy I am with everything and how it all turned out. Walking in the room before the reception started and seeing everything for the first time absolutely blew me away and was even better than I imagined. Your attention to detail throughout this process and all its planning stages is unrivaled. Dave was and is absolutely phenomenal. I don't know what your company motto is but it seems to me customers get so much more than a DJ.The term DJ I don't even like to use. Dave had control of the entire night and kept everything running smooth and fluent. He is amazing at reading a room and any situation and there was a couple times I was able to lock eyes with him and he seemed to be able to read my mind and move on to the next thing. When it was time for the real party to start it couldn't have gone better. I can't tell you how many people through the course of the night, among everything else, stopped me to ask who my DJ was and where they could find him. Letting my cousin Jacqueline start scratching records was hysterical and I commend him for even letting her near his equipment. From start to finish it wasn't just a wedding, it wasn't just fun, but it was an experience. The next day or 2 I received multiple messages from people going out of there way to tell me that that was one of the top weddings they'd ever been to. I cannot take the credit for it and owe it all to you guys. Thank you for everything and also for putting up with the hundreds of long, pain in the ass, emails over the past year (I won't mention from who). I will do nothing but my best effort in recommending you to everyone I know and their brother for years to come.

We got married in September and decided to hire Mike DJ Naps through Breakthrough Entertainment after seeing him do such a great job at my sister"s wedding. Mike did such a phenomenal job at our wedding. He kept everyone going on the dance floor! We also hired them for a photo booth which was also a big hit. The attendant running the photo booth was so nice and gave people great ideas. I highly recommend breakthrough entertainment to anyone!

Wow! Where do we even start?...DJ Sweet from Breakthrough Entertainment was THE BEST! From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, the music was on point! Guests were constantly asking me where I got the playlist from and that was the best part, I didn't have to spend hours making a set playlist - Chris just took a sample of our favorite songs and turned it into a whole night of amazing music. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We just keep hearing "best wedding ever", "the DJ was amazing", "he played my favorite song", "I never sat down"...the list goes on and on. We cannot say enough about DJ Sweet and Breakthrough Entertainment. We wouldn't change a single second of our wedding and that is largely due to DJ Sweet!

When looking for a DJ, we knew exactly what we were looking for, but didn’t know if it existed. We wanted a DJ that would engage our guests with music that would keep people of all ages on the dance floor, not someone who would just hit play on an iTunes playlist. Many people that we spoke with recommended Breakthrough Entertainment. I called and spoke with Mike Napoli (DJ Naps), and we ended up booking DJ Sweet for our wedding. DJ Sweet was exactly what we wanted. He is a true DJ, having DJ’d at many bars and clubs (and still does). He knows how to get people on the dance floor and keep them there. Our dance floor was completely full all night long. He was open to all of our ideas (including a surprise dance) and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We had a blast working with him. We received many comments from our guests, both young and old, that our wedding was the most fun wedding they had ever been to, and we have to attribute that to DJ Sweet. Do yourself a favor – don’t just pick any DJ, these are the people that set the tone for your reception. Go with Breakthrough Entertainment (DJ Sweet if you can get him!). You won’t regret it!

Let's just say that DJ Sweet has definitely earned his keep! We first met him at a friends wedding a few year's back and after a night of non-stop dancing (literally ALL night) it was clear that he definitely knows how to keep to crowd going. When we found out he was DJ'ing a couple of our other friends the next year, and having provided the same if not service (AKA non-stop dancing), we knew we needed to book him ASAP! We made the call and are happy to say that he did not let us down. We were at a venue in Skaneateles, NY that was a little quirky with the ceremony, dinner, and dancing strewn about the venue. It was getting overwhelming for us to figure out the music, speakers, and such but DJ Sweet worked his magic and everything went off without a hitch. He sat us down early on in the process and made sure we had everything ready to go which made for an amazing night. I can truly say that everyone had an amazing time dancing and enjoying themselves with a big thanks to DJ sweet. We can't wait for another DJ Sweet wedding!

I can't even begin to describe how blown away my husband and I were with Adam (DJ A-Live) from Breakthrough. He had all our guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night! At the end of the evening, our guests were cheering "one more song!" we have never been to a wedding in which this has happened before, we loved it! All night long our guests were saying this was the best wedding they have ever been to and that the DJ was the best they have ever heard! Everyone was so impressed by the song selections and how Adam got the crowd involved. Adam felt out the crowd's mood and what they were feeling and every song was perfect! He played a whole 90's set (which was a huge hit!) we had people out there of all ages really enjoying themselves!

We can't even begin to describe how thankful we are that we found and chose Breakthrough to be apart of our special day. Adam is such an amazing person with GREAT talents. Our officiant was running late due to traffic and our ceremony was outside on a hot day. As our guests were waiting, Adam took it upon himself to keep our guests informed of what was going on and brought our guests water while they waited, and they were all so grateful and had nothing but kind words for Adam. Adam was so easy to work and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding day to really make it great. I would highly recommend Breakthrough to anyone looking for the greatest and best in the industry! Thank you Adam, and everyone else at Breakthrough for making our wedding day the best day we will remember forever!

My husband and I hired DJ Chris Sweet for our wedding this summer (July 2015), and are so happy we did. He (and Breakthrough generally) were very responsive and professional. And, crucially, Chris killed it. He understood what he wanted and delivered. He was working hard the whole time; the flow between the songs was perfect (he blended/mixed amazingly), and the music and pace were everything we wanted. He made it a party. When we were looking at entertainment for our wedding, Breakthrough was highly recommended by our friends. DJ Ara (Angel) was our DJ for our wedding last week and really made the ceremony & reception so much fun.

The DJ can make or break the flow of a wedding and he was spot on all night. All of our friends & family couldn't say enough about him.

First met DJ Sweet at my brother in law's wedding, which unfortunately occurred in sideways, torrential rain... But I was very impressed that DJ Sweet was completely professional and moved his equipment in the rain without missing a beat and kept the party alive! Needless to say, we were impressed enough to hire DJ Sweet again almost a year later for our own wedding. He was awesome! He listened to what we wanted, kept the flow of the speeches and events running smoothly, and most importantly, kept our dance floor packed and happy! He mixed the songs well and got the vibe of my guests. So much fun. I had guests coming up to me all night to tell me how great the music and the DJ were! #nailedit. My wedding planner also recommended Breakthrough Entertainment very highly, so I know they work well with all the behind the scenes people too. Overall, two thumbs up. Go for it.

Angel Alvarez (DJ ARA) came out to do our wedding in Littleton, CO, in October 2014. He is an old acquaintance of the groom from back in Rochester, NY. When we got engaged, the first and only person I thought of to be our DJ was Angel. I know how good he is at it and I could only hope he'd agree to come all this way to be our DJ. We are very happy he agreed to come out, and he was extremely helpful with trying to get rental equipment lined up for us since we didn't know anything about what we would need.

We had numerous email conversations and an in-person meeting back in Rochester to go over all the details. Everything basically went off without a hitch (even though we had to deal with the equipment rental company being late with their delivery).

Angel definitely made the reception with the songs and mixes he played, and he was somehow able to work in everyone's requests without killing the vibe of the party. The dance floor was going non-stop as soon as dinner was over.

In conclusion, I would recommend Angel to anyone that asked to be the DJ for their wedding.

I had already put a retainer down with another company to DJ my Son's Bar Mitzvah. My son and I then attended a Bar Mitzvah in which Breakthrough Entertainment provided the music and MC. That following Monday I contacted Adam at Breakthrough and let my original choice know we would not need their services.
After working with Adam and Mike I cannot believe how awesome they made my sons day (and on short notice too)! They did everything we asked and then some. The night was unforgettable and everyone loved their photo booth. I recommend their services to anyone who wants an awesome party!

We couldn't have asked for more from DJ ARA (Angel). He was the consummate professional as well as making our wedding an amazing party from start to finish. As our ceremony was also at the reception site, he coordinated the music for that as well. He walked us through the process and offered suggestions and even went above and beyond by attending our rehearsal. He met with us before and kept in touch throughout to make sure every detail was expertly managed. He knew exactly what kind of music we wanted for our reception and delivered tenfold. The dance floor was full from the first dance to the last. Friends, family, co-workers all raved about how much fun they had at our wedding, and my husband and I both agreed it was the best night of our lives- mostly due to the epic dance party courtesy of DJ ARA!

DJ Naps provided music that kept our guests dancing all night long! Throughout the wedding planning process Mike was available via email, phone and in person meetings to hear our ideas and offer his own suggestions. We especially enjoyed the chance to work "hands on" creating the lighting for our big day. DJ Naps was the perfect soundtrack to the concert feel of our wedding night. While it's tough to strike a balance of music that satisfies all guests at a wedding it was clear that Mike did his best to have something for everyone. Mike was easy to work with and definitely delivered on what we imagined for our wedding day.

As soon as my husband and I spoke with Mike on the phone, we knew Breakthrough Entertainment was the right choice for us. Mike quickly understood exactly what we were going for - to throw the best party we had ever been to! The planning process was so simple (they have a great online portal that makes managing your wedding day info and song choices so easy) and we were fully confident in our our entertainment for the big day. And when the day came, Mike and his amazing talent exceeded our expectations. We had Mike Napoli/DJ Naps provide entertainment for our wedding - and hiring him was the best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process. He was professional, reliable and prompt in his communications. He patiently walked us through the planning process, was receptive to our suggestions and requests, and was so easy to work with. We also purchased some additional uplighting for the reception venue (Irondequoit Country Club) and the room looked incredible. At the wedding, the program flowed very nicely and Mike had everyone on the dance floor - what a night!! He played to the crowd and everyone left deliriously happy from dancing the whole night long. DJ Naps stole the show and we keep hearing how great the music was from our guests, even months later. He is top notch and hands-down THE best DJ in Rochester. I would highly recommend DJ Naps to couples who are looking for a professional, courteous DJ who gets everyone dancing - thank you!

DJ Naps and BreakThrough Entertainment provided the ultimate DJ experience at my wedding this year! Mike Napoli (DJ Naps) is easily the best DJ that I have ever worked with. His level of professionalism is something that most in his industry have't even thought to try. There is a perfect balance between technology, personalization, customer service and communication. We didn't know everything we wanted going into the hiring process, but we knew there were some must haves. What was perfect about Mike, is not only did he exceed our expectations on what we knew we wanted, but he made our wedding especially memorable and fun for us as well as all our guests. His set up and execution were perfect, his commitment to service is unmatched, and s suggestions were fantastic, he offered so many small details that made our day special. We've already recommended him to several friends, one couple has already booked him for their wedding.

Tim Tones did a great job rocking the crowd all night long! He worked well with our band, listened to our preferences, and made good judgments about what music to play at which times within our guidelines. Our guests mobbed the dance floor from the time the party started until the last drink was poured.

DJ A-live (Adam Main) was amazing at our wedding. He played everything we wanted to play and kept the party going all night long. Every moment of the planning process was great between Adam and Mike (DjNaps). Many nights downtown I would see one of these guys and they were so welcoming to my wife and I. This wasn't just business for these guys, it was friendship. Thanks for the best night of our lives and keep doing what your doing because it works.

DJ ARA is where it's at. My husband, myself & our friends always loved going to Vinyl or Wall Street when he was working. When my cousin Jenn suggested him (cause their kids play hockey together) I couldn't help but get excited! He was so great to work with - and we really didn't have to do much prep for music because we knew that he would make sure the dance floor was always going -- and that he did! He is so passionate about his music and I truly he think he made the reception & the ceremony the best it could be.

DJ A-live (Adam Main) was phenomenal! He was recommended to me by a friend who attended a wedding that he worked, and I am so glad I listened to her! Adam played a great mix of music, was open to requests, and also wasn't afraid to tell people no if their song was on our "do not play" list or would not have fit the mood. He kept people dancing on the floor the entire night and we had a blast! He is very personable, fun, and easy to get along with. He was great in our planning meetings too - my husband and I didn't have a ton planned yet and he had some great suggestions and was pretty flexible about changing things after the meeting, too. I think my favorite thing, though, was that he also acted as our MC - he knew the schedule better than I did, and kept us on track. He made announcements and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone!

From the moment we met DJ Naps we knew we wouldn't want any other DJ to join us on our special day! He was very personable, organized and very confident in what he does! The online planning forms and music choices made it very easy to plan our amazing celebration! DJ Naps made sure he was on time and ready to roll at our venue and he was dressed to impress! He told us we would have the wedding of the summer that everyone around town was still talking about and he was right! We all had an incredible night!

Adam (DJ A-Live) made our wedding reception a truly fun and memorable one. My husband and I had our concerns going into the initial music-planning process, as we are rather picky about our musical tastes, and we weren't sure whether a DJ would be willing or able to accommodate them. However, Adam was very receptive and approachable throughout the process, and we were very comfortable discussing our concerns and showing him our proposed playlist. Throughout the reception, he was VERY communicative with us, so there were no surprises and we could relax and just spend the evening enjoying ourselves. Adam is also incredibly skilled at reading the crowd, and our guests were on the dance floor for most of the evening. My husband and I aren't even party people, and we still had a great time!

Overall, I would recommend Adam and Breakthrough to anyone. Over three weeks have passed since our reception, and our guests are still complimenting us about it!

I hired DJ Naps (Mike Napoli) from BreakThrough Entertainment for my Wedding earlier this month. I could not be any happier about my choice. DJ Naps was extremely helpful and organized throughout the process of pre-planning for the big day. I had a very busy schedule during my planning months, he was flexible with meeting times and always used the time I had available efficiently. He has your best interests in mind when helping you plan out what you are looking for in your day and there was no pressure to order a bigger package or more things than what you were really looking for. He made the experience all about you. As for the day of our wedding all I can say is WOW. He had my grandparents on the dance floor breaking it down!! (and that's saying a lot) We talked about what kind of music we would like at our wedding and he really was able to use that information and play music we wanted as well as keeping up the energy and mood in the room. I had guests come up to me throughout the night and after our event saying that they loved our DJ, asking for his business card, and telling me it was the best DJ at a wedding they had ever seen. To say the least DJ Naps was down right awesome. I would recommend him time and time again. He is just brilliant with what he does, and puts work into playing what is right for the moment. If I had to recommend a dj to family or friends, hands down I would recommend DJ Naps with Breakthrough entertainment. He made our day so special, we love him!! Also lastly, I was given the advice to choose wisely for my DJ, they really have a big impact on how your reception goes and sets up the environment/entertainment. I would give the same advice to any couple planning an upcoming wedding, I know the overall process is expensive but spending the money to get the right dJ is worth it. Hope that helps!!!

When my now Husband and I set out to find a DJ for our wedding last October, we knew exactly what we wanted- Someone who could mix all kinds of music together to keep everyone on the dance floor all night. We got exactly that and more with Dave Pescrillo (DJ Jestyr)! Everyone had a great time (even some of my co-workers' husbands who usually hate going to weddings) and Dave was a HUGE part of that! He even got my Grandmother on the dance floor! Dave was very organized and coordinated with the event manager at the reception hall to keep everything moving smoothly. Dave was well worth the cost and I will definitely be recommending Dave and Breakthrough Entertainment to all my engaged friends!

I cannot say enough about Dave Pescrillo (DJ Jestyr) and Breakthrough Entertainment. Music at a wedding makes the party and Dave went above and beyond for my 80's/90's party animal guests. The dance floor was never empty which is a mark of a great wedding. He was great with my requests to remove standard wedding fare (chicken dance be gone..) and mixed great tracks together instead of playing all songs in their entirety. My goal was a club vibe and he delivered. Breakthrough also delivered with fantastic pink uplighting for the reception and even helped me in a pickle when I needed an Amp and Microphone for our ceremony! They took the stress out of the entire planning process and made our guests feel like they were at an exclusive party. I love Breakthrough and Dave and I would HIGHLY recommend them for any of your events. Best Rochester has to offer - don't go for standard wedding DJ's - Make your big day exclusive. Thank you Breakthrough!

I only have positive things to say. DJ Angel is good at what he does. He is very professional and responsive to the wants and needs of the bride and groom. He met with the bride and groom and parents of the bride twice prior to the wedding to make sure he was responsive to what we wanted - and on wedding day everyting went as hoped for. I would recommend Angel and BreakThrough with no reservations whatsoever!

Dave was the DJ for our wedding and it was absolutly amazing. We threw so much at him at the last minute and he took it on like a champ and did exactly what we ask him to do. We got married at a baseball stadium and he did the music for our ceremony and reception. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ, once he got the music/party started no one wanted to stop dancing. If we had any other DJ our wedding woul not have been the same. He mixed old school music with new school and made it his own, every age group loved him. At the end of the night i couldn't tell you how many people were asking about him and where we found him. If we ever need a DJ for any event he is the ONLY person i would call.

Im writing this with 100% honesty. hiring Breakthrough Entertainment for our wedding was THE best option we could have chosen.

My family is not a party type family and I was nervous no one would be dancing...well DJ Sweet took care of that. The dance floor was non-stop. it was unbelievable.

I can with 100% certainly recommend DJ Sweet to anyone and I will be to friends and family.

Angel was the best money I spent on my wedding.. He made sure that everything was in order and was EXTREMELY organized.. He is very creative as well and offered a ton of suggestions.. He also opened his scheduled to staying a hour extra. You will NOT be disappointed

I have been to a lot of weddings but never have been to one where the DJ kept people on the dance floor. The mix of music was played out perfectly. I highly recommend using this DJ for any event that you want your guests to have the time of their lives.

I had seen Angel DJ another wedding and I knew from my experience that day that I wanted him to be ours someday... I can't even begin to say enough good things about Angel. He was so helpful even from the moment we hired him. We were given a planning spreadsheet and tons of great information around wedding music. When we gave him the spreadsheet he confirmed the songs we wanted and also confirmed the pronunciation of names of the entire wedding party. He even pointed us in the direction of a fantastic photographer and helped us burn a slide show to play during the wedding! The day of the wedding he exceeded our expectations in every single way. When someone tried to change the order of the entrances, he checked with us first. He played every song I wanted and at the perfect times. He completely 'got the party started'. He had people dancing that I didn't even know would dance (ie my 87 year old grandmother... on a table... to MJ:). I can't begin to tell you how many people have asked me about him since, and said it was the best music at a wedding they have ever been to. I would hire Angel again in a heartbeat.

Out of all the decisions that come with planning a large wedding, the easiest and smartest thing we did was hire Mike to be our DJ. He was in constant communication with us and made sure every detail was attended to on our wedding day. If we could give him more than 5 stars we would. If you want to have a hassle free reception with the best mix of music you'll ever hear that'll keep people dancing literally all night long..then you need to hire DJ Naps. Great Job Mike!!

DJ Naps came highly recommended from our photographer so we felt so lucky to book him for our big day. From the beginning, Mike was energetic, responsive, and professional. He really understood that we wanted a party of a lifetime and he gave us just that! We gave him an idea of the music/vibe we wanted and trusted Mike to just do his thing- which he did perfectly. He totally understood us and was also able to feel the crowd and play songs that really got everyone going. This was a non-stop dance party. Our reception went 1.5 hrs longer than average and even at the last song, EVERYONE was still there and on the dance floor. I mean over 100 people that were dancing from start to finish. Even my grandparents who normally leave every event right after dinner! The bartender said he had never seen a reception like ours and we received a lot of compliments from guests that we had the best DJ they had ever seen/heard. Mike is not only a great DJ but a great advocate for the bride and groom and what they really want. The reception ran so smoothly and I know hat was due to Mike 's wonderful timing, preparation, and awareness- I felt like he was part wedding planner, making sure everything was timed perfectly and executed just right. He made us feel so special and for that we are so grateful! DJ NAPS is what made the difference at our reception, making it an unforgettable night! Thank you!!

Breakthrough Entertainment delivered on every level for our wedding! Mike aka DJ Naps kept the dance floor filled from start to finish (literally). BTE went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our music and wedding day was customized to our needs and for that piece of mind I would have paid double.

Mike (the owner) is professional, organized, musically gifted and all around just a great guy. From country to hip-hop, young or old (just ask my parents) they know how to keep the party going. If you live in Upstate NY and need a DJ service your only call needs to be to BreakThrough Entertainment!
