Brant provides the best service money can buy.
We hired Brant to photograph our wedding, and he exceeded every expectation we had.
He met us at the venue well in advance to go over specifics, he showed up prepared with a list of questions, guidance, and experience that proved invaluable on our special day. We weren’t sure where the sun would be during the event. Brant came prepared with an app to track the sun so that we could find the best spots for photos ahead of time. He communicated extremely well before the event, and helped lead us to making decisions when we were unsure how to move forward.
On the day of the event, Brant and his assistant Carlos were extremely efficient, professional, fun, and overall improved our experience of the day. They made us feel extremely special. We made it through all of the planned photos, and they had the flexibility and vision to fit in additional fun shots as they saw the opportunities. Brant didn’t feel like just a photographer, he felt like a friend.
Our photos arrived quickly after the event, and they looked absolutely beautiful. I was extremely surprised by the volume of shots they managed to capture. From tears during vows, to smiles during speeches, to epic dance floor shots. Every moment perfectly captured.
We could not have asked for a better experience. Brant added valuable memories, and captured every one.

Brant did our first family photos when my now wife and I were dating. He did a fantastic job and we didn't reach out to anyone else for our wedding. This was a 2nd marriage for each of us and we eloped, just the two of us, the year prior. This was truly a celebration of our two families officially coming together and celebrating with family and friends.
To say Brand knocked it out of the park is an understatement. This was a backyard wedding at my best friends house in Pacific Beach so it wasn't your typical, venue wedding. Brant captured all our moments in such a way it looks like an elevated outdoor space at a venue. He worked with us prior to the wedding and was very communicative. He ensured the family photos were capturing actual smiles with his personality and demeanor.
As a "retired" wedding photographer myself, I fully endorse Brant as a very capable, fun, & creative wedding photographer who will be sure to capture your moments that you'll look back on and treasure forever. -

Fun, Fabulous and Fantastic
Brant has done our previous family photos and this year we brought him in for our back yard Vow Ceremony / Wedding. He was very responsive, was great at getting through our list of photos we wanted with our friends and family. Brant comes in as is part of the party and captured some beautiful, silly and amazing moments! Highly recommend for family photos, weddings, etc. -

He went above anything we expected, helped decrease a lot of our wedding day stress, made us feel more confident with our timeline going into our wedding day, increased our comfort of being photographed so much when we are both a bit camera shy, and answered all our questions. We were so excited to get our gallery quickly after our wedding and continue to find joy each time we revisit the photos. Brant’s assistant Carlos was a great addition to the team. Excellent Photographer
We really scored when we decided to go with Brant as our photographer! He was extremely organized, energetic, and made the entire day seamless. We wanted all of our pictures done prior to our ceremony so we could enjoy our whole cocktail hour with friends and family and he made it happen! Our pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. Seriously don’t look any further! Brant is AMAZING! I hate getting my photos taken and he made it feel very comfortable and the photos were breathtakingly beautiful. Brant is amazing. He captured our engagement photos and our wedding day. One of our guests who looked at our photos stated "His ability to catch candid photos, pure joy and beauty is unbelievable!". But believe it because all of our photos are magical. Brant made us feel comfortable and he has a great sense of humor. My husband even said he had fun taking our photos all because of Brant and Carlos. I forgot to mention Brant's team is also truly amazing. Carlos was a gem and between the both of them they did not miss any moments on our special day. Our experience was the best and we will be using Brant for any future photo needs. He also has a great laugh that will make you show your best smile. Outstanding, fabulous, creative, professional!
Working with Brant was truly such a fun experience. We had the pleasure of first meeting him as my husband and I were getting engaged at Rancho Bernardo Winery. He was there taking all the pictures of our very special and intimate moment. The thing that I loved most about working with Brant is that he does such a good job making you feel comfortable in intimate settings like while you are getting engaged or wedding pictures. He is a fly on the wall, but also is boosting your model confidence by giving you pointers on next poses! Deciding to work with him again to take our wedding photos was a no brainer! He went above and beyond to get the most amazing pictures of me and my husband and also was so diligent to make sure that he got photos of everything we told him we wanted photos of. His pricing was also very reasonable and was worth every penny, I wanted to make sure I had great photos to look back on forever. He was very organized the day of and brought a printed list of what we wanted and checked off each picture we had requested. He was also really good at helping us with our timeline and making sure everyone was taking the pictures quickly while still maintaining a fun atmosphere and quality photography. Did I mention he is really fun to work with!!
Choose Brant to be your wedding photographer, you will not regret it!! He also got our photos back to us within a week and 1/2 of our wedding!! -

Loved working with Brant!
We felt so comfortable with Brant from the first call we had with him and that made such a big impact for us on our wedding day. My husband and I aren't very comfortable in front of a camera but Brant and his team made it feel easy. We also appreciated how flexible he was with us when it came to creating the right photography package for us/our budget and how quickly he got the photos back to us after the wedding. All around, so happy we got to work with him and we're thrilled with how our photos came out! -

I met Brant over a decade ago and knew back then that I wanted him to be the photographer for my eventual wedding day for a few reasons...
First, I had seen his work and thought it was gorgeous. Having seen the photos from our engagement session, our rehearsal dinner, and wedding day, I still believe that. He made the spaces we used look even more beautiful than I could have imagined and was always sure to subtly grab us for great photo opportunities. He is a pro so when I say quick, he is QUICK, which you don't realize how wonderful that is until the day of and you have a list of 20 group shots to get through.
Second, I knew I wouldn't be comfortable with just anyone photographing me all day, and Brant's friendly but calm positivity has a way about him that makes you feel incredibly comfortable. He and his 2nd photographer spent all weekend with me, my (now) husband, our friends and family, and they were both just as much a part of the weekend as everyone else (because we wanted them to be, he would never impose).
There were times I thought, "oh man, this special moment would be so wonderful to have captured" and I'd look up or over and Brant was already there snapping away.
Third, when I originally met with Brant to discuss the possibility of him coming to Vermont for our wedding weekend, we talked about general wedding details and traditions. We did not want to nor did (in my opinion) many of the wedding reception traditions. I bounced ideas off of him, asked him if I was missing the importance of a couple traditions I was planning on skipping, and he provided incredibly helpful input. Additionally, he gave me some ideas from other weddings he had done that I had not heard of. That continued through the wedding weekend itself and I cannot put into words just how helpful that in itself was. I did not have a coordinator so I was planning every single detail on my own, which becomes even more difficult when you're unable to be at the property or plan layouts for anything until the week of. I was and am extremely grateful for the insight and support he provided.
Furthermore, when it came time to rehearsal, I went directly to Brant to ask if he thought my plan of path to the aisle was a good one, too long, too short, etc... He suggested an alternate route that would be better (and pointed out why) for pictures and oh my gosh, was he right. The pictures turned out so incredible. He is never pushy but there to provide helpful suggestions if and when you need them. And I needed many of them (and he was right every single time).
I will admit that I was a little stubborn in the things I wanted for my wedding -- I had worked events in a past life and knew what would make the amazing celebration we had envisioned -- but my family and friends didn't always agree with a couple of my choices. Flying a photographer out to VT from CA was one of those things they didn't agree with me on....at first. By the time the rehearsal dinner was over, everyone was raving about both Brant and his second photographer. They saw how he moved through the crowd, naturally got good group photos both candid and posed, and is just an all around great person who happens to be the best at what he does. By the end of the weekend, both sides of the family were admitting I was right to fly him out and that Brant "was worth every penny and more" and really, could not stop saying how amazing he was. And he really, truly was.
I couldn't imagine anyone else photographing my wedding from the day I first saw his work and I'm so glad I stayed stubborn in that. My husband and I would not have had the absolutely perfect weekend we did, or have as many beautiful photos as we do, if Brant had not been there, truly. -

Brant and Carlos did a fantastic job with photographing our wedding day. They were very professional and positive and made capturing our special day efficient and easy! Brant is the best!
My husband and I are so GLAD we hired Brant to be our wedding photographer. He is so professional, easy to work with, and will bend over backwards to make sure your wedding day is spectacular and goes according to plan!
We first contracted with him in February of 2022 and the wedding was in May 2023. He was there through the whole planning process to answer any of our questions and provide advice (definitely reach out to him for his insights!).
We could not be happier with the end result of the wedding photos he took, the photos are beyond what we could have hoped for! -

On top of it all we received a very high-quality wedding album book that wrapped up our wedding perfectly. Amazingly kind, gorgeous photos, professional
Brant was amazingly kind, took gorgeous photos, and was so professional.
My original photographer didn’t show up to my wedding after I had met with her multiple times and paid her. After my wedding I was so devastated I wouldn’t have any photos of my husband and I.
Brant volunteered to take photos of my husband and I in our wedding attire. The kindness that Brant showed was so incredibly touching. He immediately made a painful and upsetting situation into such a beautiful and heart warming moment.
Not only is Brant kind, he is also very professional and extremely talented. The photos turned out SO stunning. I never knew I could look and feel so beautiful. And he sent me hundreds of edited photos within a week of taking the photos.
Thank you Brant for making this possible for Nathan and I. We look at the photos all the time and can’t wait to get some printed for our new home together. We appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness you showed us. -

Pick Brant - you won't regret it
Brant is awesome - very responsive and a clear communicator, so everyone's well prepared in advance to make sure you get all the photos you want on your wedding day. His photos are really amazing - the shots of my wife and I really capture our expressions in a way that make you feel the joy of the day. The candids are even better - we had cornhole at our wedding, and he got some photos of people playing that look like they were shot by professional sports photographers.

I cannot say enough about how amazing Brant was to work with. From the first introduction video he delivered to get to know him to the day my husband and I said "I do", he made us feel extremely comfortable. Fun and Great Photographer
Brant was a joy to work with! My wife and I are not the most comfortable being in front of the camera and center of attention but Brant’s fun and relaxed attitude put us both at ease. Our first session with Brant was engagement photos along the beach at Torrey Pines and right away after meeting I felt confident that he’d capture the important moments during our big day. Like many 2020 couples we had to postpone our ceremony to 2021 and Brant was flexible to follow us as our ceremony date changed.
Brant, and his second Heather, did a wonderful job at our wedding getting the unique moments as they popped up throughout the day. It all seems like a blur and we are very happy to have hired Brant Bender to record it all. The quality of the photos are amazing and I appreciate the quantity of photos we were given, we have plenty to pick our favorites from.
The hosting website looks great and it makes it very simple to share our photos with family members. I appreciate the simple to navigate interface for its ease of use and functionality.
Thanks Brant and Heather for doing an amazing job at our wedding and making the day that much more memorable! I think Brant was having as much fun as us during the day’s events.

My husband and I used Brant and his assistant for our wedding last week on 12/02/21 in Downtown San Diego. Brant arrived early, got setup, and was ready to go when I arrived on scene. He and I communicated regularly since May 2021 when I found him and hired him immediately. I am a bit of a control freak, so it was amazing to have Brant answer my emails, texts, and calls quickly. He was funny, direct, and kind. I don't even have any photos back yet, but I just know from his reputation and demeanor and the day we had, that they will be absolutely amazing. You will not be disappointed when you hire Brant and his staff. -

Brant is the Best!
We found Brant through a mutual contact and to say that it was a blessing is an understatement. After our initial phone call with Brant it was clear he was the photographer for us. He was kind, funny, and was able to make sure all of our needs were met.
We met him for the first time for our engagement shoot at the beach and he made our experience so easy and so much fun. He made us feel comfortable and made us laugh which made us feel relaxed and confident. The photos turned out stunning and we knew we hired the right person to make our dream wedding a reality.
While preparing for the wedding he was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we knew the timelines and had our photo lists prepared for the big day. When the wedding day came he made everything so easy and relaxed. He was prepared and made everyone feel comfortable and confident. Our special day was captured so beautifully by Brant and we were brought to tears by how perfectly he captured our special day. Brant Bender is an exceptional wedding photographer. I reached out to Brant as he was listed as a preferred vendor for our venue. I was so impressed when he quickly got back to me and with a video message and a portfolio of wedding pictures he had previously shot at our venue. The pictures were beautiful. I met with Brant in person at my venue and knew immediately that he was the guy for the job. Not only does Brant take stunning photos, he is also a joy of a human being. He was so friendly and charismatic that I knew he would be a great fit for us. He was also very accommodating when we had to postpone on our wedding due to Covid. During these crazy times you really want to have vendors who are dependable and reliable. Brant was so quick to always get back to me as things were constantly changing while planning a wedding during a pandemic. When the big day finally arrived, we were overjoyed to have him and his assistant with us. I am a person who hates having my picture taken and have never had professional photos done. I was worried about knowing what to do or how to pose. Brant made me feel completely at ease that day. He gives great direction and brings an upbeat positive vibe that will take all that fear away. When we received our photos (it only took 3 weeks by the way! WOW!) I felt so beautiful and this is coming from someone with a lot of insecurities. Everything he captured was simply stunning. It’s funny that you spend so much time and effort into planning the smallest details for your wedding and it goes by so fast that you don’t have time to appreciate your work. Thankfully, Brant took so many pictures of all of the details and work I put into the wedding that now I can look back at these pictures and relive and remember all of those things. I really can’t recommend him enough. Having a great photographer is one of the most important things you need for your wedding. I am so happy we went with Brant Bender as our photographer. We will forever cherish all of his beautiful work! -

Brant is the photographer a bride dreams of for her wedding day. Every single wish I had for my wedding photos was made true by Brant and his team! Even better? Brant Bender captured our love story perfectly!!
A wedding photographer plays such a crucial role in your special day- you can’t go wrong with Brant Bender! We struck gold with Brant! He captured our unique love story with style and fun! Despite us living out of state, he made it a point to get to know us and our preferences, style, and personalities all before our big day. We love how he was able to deliver a contemporary, yet classic feel to our photos. He had the formidable task of being both a wedding photographer and family photographer; he had to photograph our very young active children who were a big part of our wedding in January 2020. We asked him to capture our children’s perspectives of the event and he absolutely nailed it! From that special first look with my boys to group family photos to detailing the theme and essence of our wedding- he was able to thoroughly and creatively capture it all! And his write-up/blog of our wedding on his website was such a surprise and treat! Proof that he loves what he does. I am so grateful for the work he and his team did to document every detail of our very special day! My only regret is that we don’t live in San Diego- I wish he could also be our family photographer for other occasions. -

Brant and his team were very professional and responsive from the minute I reached out on his website. I was panicking to find a replacement photographer with my wedding only 3 weeks away (my originally booked photographer canceled due to a family emergency). Brant and his team came to the rescue and he was so organized with questionnaires to capture my vision and organize the shot list, which made our day flow smoothly. Brant and his team communicated so effectively to get all of our family shots and transitions in and on schedule. Brant's assistants also helped with professional equipment for the sun/shade shots at sunset cliffs, which all turned out so beautifully. At our reception, Brant was very mindful of making sure we captured the sunset shots as we crossed under the Coronado bridge and all of the important shots throughout the reception, he kept us on track with timing! Brant's edited pics were ready a few weeks later and all uploaded to a wonderful and user friendly photo gallery where I could download all of the pics in high resolution. 100 stars for Brant and his amazing team!!! Highly recommended!!! -

Very personal and exceeded our expectations!
When it comes to capturing life’s greatest moments you want someone who not only listens to your desires but also catches small moments between you and your loved ones. During our engagement photos and wedding Brant was able to bring our personalities to life through his photos and our love for one another was captured so beautifully. Having a photographer that made us feel comfortable and light-hearted was so important to us in addition to the quality of photos, Brant always allowed us to be silly and playful and with his creative touch made what we wanted even better than imagined. It was important to me that for our Lake Arrowhead military wedding we get a variety of pictures in different locations, Brant was so flexible and accommodating to what I had asked of him and was able to catch all the vivid fall colors and details so beautifully! Not only is his work impeccable but his personality is kind and warm, Brant is such an easy photographer to work with and I am so happy to have used him for such an important time in our lives. Moving forward as life brings us new chapters, we will definitely be using Brant for family photos etc. I highly recommend Brant and will refer him any chance I get! -

Engagement Session of a Lifetime
My experience was beyond! Brant is amazing, professional, personable, artistic and knowing we could trust his experience to give us the best engagement session. My now husband HATES taking photos and working with Brant my husband was all smiles, relaxed and the pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL and fun! -

Just a great all-around experience
We just had our wedding in October, and hired Brant as our photographer. Brant was an excellent partner to work with. We really wanted our photos to be focused on people - us, our guests, our interactions. We don't have a lot of print-quality pictures, so this was important. He was great at finding interesting backgrounds for photos, and managing large crowds (we have a large, loud family - so that's easier said than done).
Brant absolutely worked with us on timeline, on the package - he is extremely flexible and responsive. Our timeline was fairly tight (due to scheduling around the Catholic church), and Brant helped us problem-solve and figure out the best way to get thru the (many) formals our families wanted, and onto the party, and celebrating with our guests.
Brant also brought an extremely qualified professional photographer as his 'second.' - no concerns about interns, or unprofessionals, or anything like those horror stories we've all read about.
I also have to say that Brant is sincerely a good person, and the perfect person to have at a party. He's funny, sociable and great at putting people at ease - which, once again, just leads to great photos. -

My wedding was my parents' 3rd wedding that they held and they told me that my wedding pictures by Brant were by far superior to other wedding photographers. His ideas, techniques, specific shots, and knowledge of venues in San Diego are wroth every penny. I was expecting good photos and they were actually better than my already high expectations. Brant is fun, easy to work with, very responsive, upbeat, and a pleasure to work with. I wish I had another event to hire him again for his amazing artistic work! I truly feel like a princess every time I look at my own photos and that is coming from someone who is very critical of myself in photos. 200% satisfied!!!

Brent Sent on 10/30/2017Brant is a phenomenal photographer. We used him for our wedding, our daughters 2 year old photos, and our Christmas card photo this year. We cannot say enough about the quality of his work, his friendly demeanor, and his professionalism.

They both managed to be everywhere and take all the pictures that we wanted. Brant made everyone so relaxed and kept us smiling great. We couldn't have asked for a better choice in Brant. He captured the beauty of the day, so our memories of that perfect day will be with us forever. Thank you Brant for sharing and making our daughter's special day so absolutely wonderful.
