As the bride and groom, we wanted to capture the fleeting, unforgettable moments of our big day as we’ve been told it goes by in the blink of an eye! We were fortunate enough to receive a recommendation from our wedding venue, Norfolk Botanical Gardens, for an incredibly talented videographer, Brandon Mitchell, who exceeded our every expectation! What struck us most about Brandon was his ability to go above and beyond to capture the pure essence of the true happiness we felt and the fun moments that occurred throughout the wedding day!
Brandon was not only a master behind the camera, but also a true professional. He arrived on time, maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor, and made us feel truly at ease throughout the whole day! His level of communication is impeccable as he was always willing to answer a text, email or call whenever we had a question, so we knew we were in good hands the day of the wedding. As two camera shy individuals, Brandon pushed us to be our best selves by giving us confidence and coaching us to do so! No matter how ridiculous we may have looked, we never once felt embarrassed. He was a true champion throughout our outdoor wedding, on July 12th, in Virginia!
Unbelievably, by the time the reception started, Brandon already had a short “wedding trailer” playing on an iPad at the bar for our guests to see. Even more unbelievably, in under a month we received our full wedding gallery and we’re blown away by the level of craftsmanship and artistry that Brandon put into each video. These videos are true works of art that evoke the joy and tenderness we experienced during those precious moments. Brandon managed to encapsulate those emotions and create timeless memories that we will cherish forever! Working with Brandon has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. His exceptional talent, professionalism, and dedication to his craft makes him a stand out choice in the world of videography! Brandon was the best to work! From the start, he was super attentive and took the time to truly get to know us and our vision. On the day of the wedding, he even came early to get to know the whole bridal party and he made all of us feel so comfortable. After the ceremony and some pictures we took at the beach, he made a quick snippet of a video that was displayed during the reception that was so amazing. The guests loved it! Brandon truly felt like family by the end of the day and we will cherish that forever. -

We loved Brandon for our wedding reception and engagement shoot. He captured our love in an authentic and fun way and brought our vision to life with a few unique requests. We didn't feel rushed during our time spent with him and it allowed us to remain photo ready and calm. I would definitely recommend him again for future events we have where videography is needed. -

We had the pleasure of having Brandon and Shana as our wedding videographers, and we truly could not be happier with the experience and final video. From the very beginning, Brandon was incredible and made us feel so comfortable. He really listened to our vision and brought such a positive energy to the whole experience.
On the wedding day, he arrived early and immediately started capturing beautiful shots of the venue and all the little details. You can genuinely feel his passion for what he does — it shows through not just in the way he works, but in every single shot of the final video.
We chose the 3–4 minute highlight video, and it honestly blew us away. It’s emotional, joyful, and packed with special moments — even ones we didn’t realize were being captured. One of the most meaningful touches was how Brandon creatively included voicemails our family members recorded at the wedding. It added such a personal and heartfelt touch and it truly is the most special keepsake we could have asked for.
Brandon came so prepared for everything, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Our family and friends also had such a great experience with him — everyone felt comfortable and at ease, which made the whole day even better. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares, who brings authenticity, and who will create beautiful, lasting memories — Brandon is your guy. We’ll always be grateful for his talent, passion, and the incredible work he delivered. -

Brandon far exceeded our expectations. My wife and I hired Brandon for our October (10/5/24) Wedding and are so happy that we did. He was personable with the guests, captured every amazing moment, and even had a sneak preview rolling on a tablet before Dinner.
The editing and production value of the films he created truly made a keep-sake we will treasure forever. You will not go wrong hiring Brandon, Brandy and I are so thankful that we did. -

Beautiful, amazing, perfect!!!
We had such an amazing wedding day with Brandon! I booked last minute and we had never met in person until the day of the wedding, and it was like we’d been working together for months! He worked flawlessly with our vendor team, and was extremely professional, timely, and knowledgable. He knows what he is doing and gets right to it! His calming presence was so reassuring throughout our day, but we still had a ton of fun together. Our videos are PHENOMENAL, with amazing footage and clear sound, beyond our expectations. Brandon was incredible to work with from start to finish. He anticipated every question we had and answered it before we needed to ask. He and his assistant were the perfect amount of cool, calm, and collected on a day that can be notorious for chaos, while still being a fun presence. I won’t spoil his surprises for anyone else, but he went above and beyond what was expected. Not only did we love him but our families and friends loved him and his work as well. We were thoroughly blown away. If the view count on our videos is high, it’s because we can’t stop watching his amazing work. Highly, highly recommend Brandon Mitchell Films. -

I am SO happy my husband and I chose Brandon to film our wedding video. From the beginning, he was very friendly, informative, and detailed. He worked with me back and forth to discuss any questions I had throughout the planning process and was very responsive. On the wedding day, I was truly amazed by his work ethic! He worked endlessly capturing all of the important events and details from morning until night. He even created a mini video during dinner for our guests to view! He made us feel super comfortable all day, like we weren't even being filmed and he was just a friend attending our wedding. When we got our teaser and wedding film back, I was speechless. He so beautifully captured our special day and brought us both to tears. The emotion and joy that was highlighted in our video was absolutely stunning and Brandon's creativity is truly like no other. We opted to have only our ceremony recorded, and Brandon did an awesome job. We had a brass band as well as a Navy sword arch outside the church, and Brandon recorded all of that with ease. He was incredibly self-sufficient; once we finalized the contract, Brandon basically took care of the rest. Finally, we received the finalized video from Brandon just a week after the wedding, and it was great! Everything was easy and professional, and for the price, Brandon is a GREAT value. -

I cannot say enough good things about Brandon. During our initial consultation, he walked me through his whole process. I was sceptical about hiring a videographer with our budget but I just knew it was something I couldn't skip on. But after talking to him, and especially after seeing our video!!!, I knew I should go for it. He came in and got right to work! He's very professional but fun too! I even saw him out on the dance floor haha!! Our video had me and most of my family in tears (not easy to do) I will cherish this forever! -

Brandon is hands down the best! He had kept in contact with me and reached out multiple times, even the week of the wedding to see how I was. He showed up earlier the day of the wedding and kept reassuring me that things would work out despite the rain. He was SO much fun and we can’t get over the amazing job that he did. I cannot recommend him enough!
