I am beyond thrilled with the incredible work Dwayne Spradley and Boxwood & Bows did for my wedding florals! From the moment we began planning, Dwayne was warm, personable, and so attentive. He took the time to truly understand my vision and helped bring it to life in the most beautiful and meaningful way.
Every floral arrangement – from my bridal bouquet to the centerpieces, ceremony decor, and beyond – was absolutely stunning. The colors, textures, and overall aesthetic were perfect and truly elevated our wedding day. What amazed me most was how Dwayne was able to capture exactly what I had in mind, even when I couldn't fully articulate it myself. His creativity and attention to detail were unmatched.
The florals completely transformed our venue and added such a personal, elegant touch. It was everything I dreamed of and more. If you're looking for a florist who is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely cares about making your day special, I can't recommend Dwayne Spradley and Boxwood & Bows enough. Boxwood & Bows exceeded our expectations for our wedding in every way! Dwayne was extremely communicative and met all our wants plus more. He offered us endless advice, went through multiple options with us, and worked well around our budget. Honestly, for the price we paid, we received way more florals than expected. My bridesmaids bouquets were amazing and my bridal bouquet was better than I envisioned! Everyone at our wedding complimented the florals and we were so grateful we went with boxwood & bows for our wedding! They delivered all our florals in vases (which we repurposed and used at the wedding) and made sure all florals were well hydrated and looking beautiful! I 1000/10 recommend going with boxwood & bows for your special event! -

Budget-friendly and beautiful!
Dwayne and Lisa were so wonderful to work with. They are kind and down to earth, but they also are true professionals and focus on providing a fantastic service. We had a smaller budget and were worried we couldn't afford a lot of flowers, but they worked with us to figure out how to have a beautiful wedding with what we could afford. Dwayne sent me a helpful flower worksheet that listed item-by-item cost and got on the phone multiple times to explain his advice about the biggest "bank for our buck." The best part was when I met with Dwayne and Lisa at the wholesale florist -- they showed me all of the flowers in season and even put together a possible bridal and bridesmaid bouquet for me to give my thoughts on. And the end result far exceeded my expectations -- the flowers were so beautiful, and when I told people what they cost they did not believe it. -

They were super timely and effective with communication and making sure they brought our ideas of colors to life in their arrangements. We loved working with Dwayne! He was able to work with our small budget and delivered EXACTLY what I envisioned for our wedding ceremony florals! We were able to get 4 tall beautiful arrangements for the columns at the alter, aisle markers, and two smaller arrangements for our unity ceremony setup- all for such a great price! I sent him several pictures and through text, email, and excellent communication Boxwood and Bows gave me my dream wedding flowers! They even stopped in while I was getting ready the morning of the wedding to say hi and show me pictures of what was waiting for me at the end of the aisle. I was over the moon- such lovely people to work with! -

Boxwood and Bows was truly the most amazing vendor to work with! Dwayne was very responsive, and knew exactly what my vision was just based a handful of photos. The flowers turned out stunning, and he truly nailed my vision perfectly. We even had a last minute adjustment based on the church holiday flowers still be up, and Dwayne was super helpful in coming up with a solution, and was so helpful at easing my nerves. I truly could not recommend enough! -

Love - highly recommend
I absolutely loved working with Dwayne, and the magic he and his wife worked with our flowers was definitely one of the highlights of our wedding day! He really helped make my vision come to life in a beautiful way, and made the whole process stress free and enjoyable. He will work with you on your budget, which was a huge blessing for us, but you never would know it looking at the final product! If you need a florist in Birmingham, don't hesitate to check out Boxwood and Bows. Amazing people who do amazing work! highly highly recommend!! Went above and beyond!
My favorite vendor ever. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect and were such a joy to work with. I can’t begin to list the things they did that were not in the job description just to make our day run smooth. I can’t say enough good things about Dwayne and Lisa at Boxwood & Bows! Dwayne was our florist, decorator and wedding coordinator and he was AMAZING!!! Every detail was taken care of and my daughters wedding was absolutely beautiful and exactly how she wanted it to be. Everything ran smoothly and stayed on schedule. Not only was Dwayne amazing at decorating and making everything breathtakingly beautifully, he was tons of fun as well. Wonderful attitude. Upbeat and positive. Always smiling. Our wedding guests were commenting on how awesome Dwayne was! We would highly recommend Boxwood & Bows! They will exceed your expectations!!! -

My husband was going through chemotherapy during this time and Dwayne stepped up and did extra things to make sure the day went smooth. Our experience with Dewayne and Lisa from Boxwood and Bows was absolutely wonderful ! They were so helpful every step of the way with my daughter's wedding. Their suggestions and our own ideas totally worked out beautifully. All of our family and guests commented on the gorgeous flowers and decorations. The venue we used was beautiful too but with our floral arrangements and decorations, well, everything was fabulous. Best and easiest decision you'll make.
Dwayne and Lisa made my vision come to life and it was better than I could have imagined, they more than delivered with our budget. Through the whole 18 month process of planning the wedding of our dreams, I felt so taken care of. Every detail was thought out perfectly. The communication was fantastic and by then end of the wedding, we felt like family. We had a New Years Eve wedding, so a lot of our budget was tied up in the party. What we did have set aside for the flowers and decor, they made work as if we had 3x that. They stretched our dollar beyond belief. I recommend them for all events to anyone I can, and I have never heard anything but praise. They just keep getting better and I get to be the one who says "I told you they were awesome." I am so thankful for everything they have done for us to make our day so special. I will always bee one if their biggest fans.Boxwood & Bows's reply:

Exceeds all Expectations
Dwayne and Lisa took care of all the florals and decorating for my daughters wedding. In addition, Dwayne also found time to direct the wedding. I cannot even describe the beautiful job they did. I had no idea how to plan a wedding and placed all my trust in Dwayne and Lisa. Let me tell you, they certainly did not disappoint. They far exceeded any expectations I had and literally brought me to tears when I saw how beautiful everything looked. Fun and seamless
Absolutely recommend Boxwood and Bows!! Not only were my florals EXACTLY as I wanted but the experience was so pleasant. Dwayne and Lisa are so unbelievably kind and responsive. They’re very professional and timely. Something that really set them aside for me was how passionate and knowledgeable they were. I trusted them fully and they did not disappoint. It was a great process, I really enjoyed the way we met at a floral shop and with Dwayne’s guidance I was able to pretty much put my own bouquet vision together! If I have more events in the future with the need for floral, no doubt I’ll contact Boxwood and Bows.
