Best venue we could ask for!
Bowling Brook Mansion is incredible! This is a truly special venue. We offer our strongest possible recommendation, and our earnest thanks, to Debbie and her staff for making our wedding day more beautiful than we had ever imagined.
The venue itself is gorgeous. The mansion is colorful and picturesque; the indoors are classy but not cluttered; the grounds are sprawling and luscious. We held our ceremony in a gorgeous, decorated, wooded grove, and took photos throughout the surrounding farmlands. We were very happy with the amount of space our guests had available to roam and mingle inside and outside the mansion. The ballroom was spacious, and with a cool summer evening, we were able to open an outdoor patio/tent area for guests to socialize. Also, when the evening wound down, we went to the roofdeck with close family and friends for a late afterparty under the stars—a gorgeous night in the countryside!
Debbie and her staff are amazing. We can’t say enough about Debbie herself. She treated us like a member of her family, not just another customer. She was also easy to reach and easy to talk to throughout the planning process. She worked to understand our needs and sincerely respected our vision for our wedding, making several accommodations for our plans—such as permitting us to select off-list vendors, working with our family’s arrival time needs, and allowing us to stay in the honeymoon suite before the wedding. On our wedding day, she stayed on top of managing the vendors so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves.
We owe a special thanks to Debbie’s staff for helping out in the aftermath of a hurricane. During the week before our wedding, the remnants of a tropical storm swept through Maryland. We were very worried that we would have to commit to an indoor ceremony, but the storm cleared late on Friday night, and Saturday was temperate and picturesque. Debbie and her staff arrived early Saturday morning and worked very hard to get the mansion and the grounds ready. Their hard work made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be.
Thanks again to Debbie and her team. If you’re getting married in Maryland, we earnestly encourage you to consider Bowling Brook!

The scenery was absolutely stunning, the staff were professional and accommodating, and we couldn’t recommend them enough for your wedding! We loved working with Debbie and Ashley. Debbie and all her team at Bowling Brook Mansion were so accommodating and friendly! They made us feel so special and provided us with such a beautiful venue, location, and such a perfect day for our guests for our wedding this past Saturday 10/12/2024. We will never forget this place and all it gave us!
All we can say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! There is a million and one things to say about Bowling Brook, but the number one thing is if you're looking for the perfect venue, book Bowling Brook Mansion ASAP for the best experience ever, you won't regret it!

Outstanding Wedding Venue
We had the best experience with Debbie and her team! This is a family-run small business and they make you feel like family throughout the wedding planning process. The venue is gorgeous and well-kept, with several outdoor options for your ceremony and reception plus a beautiful indoor ballroom. Our family and our guests raved about the venue, genuinely loved it, and kept asking, ‘how did you find this amazing place?’. They are super responsive throughout your planning process and make you feel at ease. Book them now before someone else does for your wedding date! -

We had the pleasure of having our wedding weekend here this past weekend! We Absolutely LOVE Mrs. Debbie and her entire staff…. everyone was so inviting, professional and accommodating. My wedding was a blast and we fully enjoyed every moment.. to the point of not wanting to leave Lol! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend! Words cannot describe how much I loved having my reception at Bowling Brook!
From the venue itself to the crew's incredible flexibility, I felt like I barely had to do anything on my wedding day.
The venue is so spacious, but also perfect with its small side rooms you can drift off to for an easy conversation without the DJ playing over you. The furniture provided was great and sturdy. Also, I loved that they set aside one of the nicest rooms in the house as the Bridal Prep Room to lounge in before the party starts. The best parts are the view though. Daytime, afternoon, and nighttime, this place is beautiful no matter what. They also have wonderful spots to take the most unique photos and we got the BEST sunset backdrop!
The team at Bowling Brook is a very well-oiled machine. They immediately knew how to assist catering, the DJ, and have the bar set up. Every moment ran smoothly. I felt like I was truly able to enjoy the night and worry about nothing.
I do recommend taking advantage of their bar services. They can do most drinks and the bar manager was willing to let me set up signature cocktails while still providing the common options for guests to choose from.
Finally, I just want to commend their flexibility. We had to reschedule the reception during COVID and they moved with us to another date with no problem. They also were willing to go with the flow as we changed up our vision and let us move furniture around (or remove when is clashed with what we wanted).
I really can't say enough about how much I loved this place. This place is worth every penny!

Debbie and the team at Bowling Brook went above and beyond to make sure our special day was absolutely perfect. After multiple cancellations and delays from our original venue, we were recommended to Bowling Brook and once we realized that we were in Debbie’s capable hands, we never looked back. I am a bit embarrassed to admit this, but I was in literal tears during our tour after I realized how accommodating and focused on the details Debbie was. Debbie, Bobbi, Ashley, and her team did a wonderful job helping us make the event a huge success, and our guests were gushing with positive things to say about the venue. I am so grateful for the change in our plan, because it ended up being even more amazing than I could have ever imagined. -

Our decision to have the biggest day/weekend of our life at Bowling Brook Mansion was simply the best ever! We can't imagine another place capturing the vision that we had for our wedding, our photos, videography, and our overall guests' experience. The owner and staff are extremely professional while making you and your guests feel right at home. After meeting the owner, Debbie and learning of the history of all the championship horses to go along with the gorgeous layout of the property are what first drew us in. Upon meeting the rest of the Bowling Brook team made the decision a no-brainer. It was a winning formula for sure and we've not been able to stop looking at our pictures and videos long after the event has taken place. The property seems even more beautiful when looking at the photos and just having a chance to reflect on everything. We continue to get compliments from guests and the word has gotten out that we pulled off the best wedding that most of guests have attended. We really can't say enough about how pleased we are with every aspect of the place and would recommend Bowling Brook over and over again. Another added bonus included most of our guests came from NY, NJ, VA, and CA so it was nice to have most of our wedding party and our photographer stay at the venue the night before and after the wedding for a stress free event. The team at Bowling Brook was AMAZING to work with and they made our dream wedding vision come to life. My husband and I were both living out-of-state during the planning months of our wedding, but Debbie, Ashley, Amanda, and Bobbie were SO helpful and flexible with our circumstances. Even on the day of the wedding, we all worked together and they went above and beyond to get the perfect ceremony in the rain. Bowling Brook was a beautiful venue and the team was a blessing to work with. Another thing that we loved about this venue was that we were able to bring in our own vendors that worked within our budget! That was an added bonus and they even had lists of their own if we were stuck. Choosing Bowling Brook Mansion as our venue was the easiest and best decision we made! -

Bowling Brook Mansion exceed every dream I ever had for a wedding venue. Debbie and her team are so kind, experienced, easy to work with, and fun. What a beautiful place to get married! Debbie and her team catered to our every need from the beginning. Our wedding weekend included an intimate rehearsal dinner in the mansion, outdoor ceremony under the trees and reception in the ballroom. They have multiple options for ceremony locations. The mansion is tastefully decorated with historical artifacts and felt luxurious. The bridal suite was exquisite, with a beautiful view and comfy bed. We spent 2 nights there, which included a custom breakfast delivered to our room. Debbie is a professional and will work with you to make your vision come to life! She has a great attention to detail to make everything right. Our wedding day went smoothly, which is no small task with all the extra precautions taken for COVID. Highly recommend! -

Debbie and her team are utter professionals. They ensure that both the bride and groom are taken care of throughout the wedding planning process and on your big day. They do a great job of walking you through your options and are so flexible when it comes to special requests. The site itself has so much charm that you don't have to spend a lot of money on additional decorations in order for you to have the wedding of your dreams. They also have two beautiful space for the bridal party to get ready in, and you can even stay on property after your event in one of the many rooms they have in the main house and on the larger grounds. I could not recommend this venue more highly! -

The Perfect Venue!
I absolutely loved this venue but I loved the hosts even more. They are genuinely sweet, God-fearing people. They are very welcoming and helpful. Southern hospitality right in MD! I think the girls - Ashley and Amanda - are mor readily available and easier to access but Ms. Debbie is very friendly as well. This venue was exactly what I was looking for: it has outdoor and indoor spaces. I used it only for reception because I preferred a church ceremony but the venue is gorgeous inside and out. The mansion is spacious and has very large ceremony and reception spaces. It’s neatly kept. The peonies are very pretty. I love how the American flag highlights the color theme of the outside of the mansion. I just can’t remark enough about how beautiful the venue is. It’s very spacious and in a private, secluded yet romantically open farm area. The mountains are close by and majestic. The views all around are spectacular. If you’re looking for an upscale feel surrounded by people who exude a relaxed atmosphere and presence - this venue is for you. I live more than an hour away but this was the perfect venue for me. Brides - be sure to take a photo on the famous blue chair! Trust me! There are also several strikingly beautiful areas for photos.
I wish I was eloquent enough to write more! I was thoroughly impressed overall.
