I was rendered speechless by my wedding flowers. When Diane and Lily arrived to deliver my bridal bouquet during hair and makeup, I burst into tears. Diane's vision is truly unique (and I don't use that work lightly), and I could never have planned and designed my wedding without her. Her understand of color and texture is unparalleled in North Carolina. If you hire Bowerbird, I highly recommend that you trust Diane and Lily to get creative with your color palette--they will absolutely not disappoint you. 10/10 HIRE!!! -

Amazing wedding day florist!
We hired Bowerbird for our wedding in April and were so happy we made this decision! Finding a wedding day florist is a daunting task at best, but Diane was kind and professional throughout the process. She was willing to work with my budget and still create such beautiful arrangements that photographed so spectacularly. I had trouble deciding if I loved my bouquet or the custom hair comb more! -

I really don't have the words to express my feelings. I am just so humbled and grateful for how much Diane and Lily and their wonderful staff helped me achieve my vision of the perfect, vintage, fall wedding that I planned for a year.
As a bride on a budget, I wanted to DIY as much as possible and decided to handle the table decor on my own. I decided to go with dried flowers for my entire wedding and Bowerbird was so wonderful in helping me pick out dried flowers from their shop throughout the year and advising me on arrangement techniques.
Along with that, they also designed the ceremony floral arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, and my AMAZING flower crown. They had me take photos of the table decor that I designed and made sure that the arrangements they created matched the colors and textures. I was so blown away by the beautiful arrangements they created!!
My dream wedding came to life and I could not be happier! -

My first meeting with Diane was warm, open and most importantly honest. She was spectacular at setting realistic budget expectations, clear about what was included in the costs, and SUPER knowledgeable about seasonal choices for florals. On my wedding day I was able to get a sneak peak into the ceremony space after Bowerbird had finished the setup - it brought me to straight tears. It was everything I had asked them to do and more - it was perfect. I would recommend Diane to any bride!

I got married in Apex and live in Greenville and Diane was in Durham and even with the distance she was so flexible and met up with me and had countless phone calls with me to make sure that she knew exactly what I wanted for my big day!! She worked with my budgetary needs and every other florist told me they couldn't give me the flowers I wanted for the amount I had in my budget, but Diane made it work!! She is amazing and is there to make you happy!! The guests at my wedding raved about my flowers and said they were simple and beautiful!! I booked with her somewhat late for getting married in June and even added corsages and boutineers on last minute and she was able to make it happen. This woman works miracles and is a sweetheart! Book her, best decision you'll make!!

Bowerbird will give you the wedding florals of your dreams!
If I could give Bowerbird one hundred stars I would - I cannot recommend them enough! They executed this stressed-out, anxious Covid bride's vision to an absolute tee. Diane and Lily were patient, friendly, and extremely professional during all our design meetings. Likewise, they were flexible and understanding when discussing pricing, logistics, or last-minute adjustments. And most importantly, they both have incredibly sharp style, which enabled them to curate the most gorgeous floral arrangements for my rehearsal dinner and wedding. I recommend them without hesitation. -

Diane and Lily are truly incredible at what they do! All I gave them was an idea of the vibe of my wedding, and the color palette of my bridesmaid dresses, and they created incredible bouquets and table arrangements to match everything PERFECTLY. I truly cannot speak highly enough of them!! My bridal bouquet was incredible, and they made flower crowns for me and all of my bridesmaids, which were equally incredible. They truly brought all of my flower dreams to life and exceeded every expectation I had.
Working with Diane and Lily throughout the entire process was a complete breeze. They were super responsive, always ready with ideas, and as soon a I met them I basically gave them complete control of the colors/kinds of flowers because you can tell they know exactly what they’re doing. They are both so, so kind and I would absolutely work with them again, and I recommend anyone else to do so, too! -

I am obsessed with Bowerbirds Flowers. They were recommended to me by my wedding planner and did not disappoint! Diane is magnificent and talented. I actually know very little about flowers so I couldn't really tell Diane exactly what I wanted. I gave her a picture of my wedding dress, my wedding colors, and a "look" I was going for. She took over from there and created the most amazing bouquets, centerpieces, and decorations. I highly recommend her! -

Bowerbird Flowers worked together with our wedding planner Events by Emily to create our dream wedding floral design. They completely transformed our venue’s dining room into a magical Bridgerton/English garden-inspired space. The seating chart Bowerbird created was incredible and the stuff of dreams, as were the bouquets. The floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception were all different from each other and all beautiful. Plus, Diane and her team were wonderful to work with! We are very grateful for the memories they helped us create. -

She does amazing work and worked with my budget, which was really a big thing for me and my husband. I am not a flower person and when I met with Diane she wanted to know what I liked and I really couldn't give her an answer since I don't know to much about flowers. Diane talked with me for awhile, made some suggestions and then sent me some photos of different flowers in my wedding colors and a website showing the different shades. All were beautiful but I still was at a loss as to what I wanted, she told me not to worry she would make something amazing for me and told me that when I saw them I would cry. Diane took what little I did tell her and created the most amazing bouquet for me, gorgeous altar flowers, beautiful bouquets and bouts for the bridal party, and yes I did cry when I saw them. I would highly recommend Bowerbird Flowers and Apothecary. Diane was very professional and easy to work with. She wants to insure that your flowers and your day are unforgettable and mine truly was. Thanks again Diane!! -

Amazing wedding flowers!
Bowerbird did a wonderful job on our wedding flowers! They made our wedding beautiful and better than we could have asked for! I loved my bouquet which were perfect pink peonies. The aisle markers were incredible. They were wonderful to work with. Diane is such a wonderful person and was the best to work with!! -

I wanted a joyful, colorful celebration filled with many shades of pink, and she absolutely nailed it. Every arrangement — from the bouquets to the centerpieces to the ceremony florals — felt artful, vibrant, and full of life.
Diane’s creativity and deep knowledge of the floral industry truly set her apart. She understood my vision right away and elevated it with thoughtful details and unique touches I never would’ve imagined on my own. Beyond her talent, she was a joy to work with — responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about what she does.

Flower Perfection!
Dianne and her team at Bowerbird were fantastic and created the most beautiful floral arrangements at my wedding! Dianne was an absolute pleasure to work with and she skillfully created the bouquets of my dreams! Each arrangement was unique and included the most beautiful touches, incorporating our colors and wedding design. We received so many compliments on both the bouquets and the table arrangements. Where to begin… It was an absolute pleasure working with the team at Bowerbird! They made my wedding floral dreams a reality at our Merrimon-Wynne wedding in May 2023.
During our final consultation meeting with Diane a little over a month before the big day, it made me even happier that we found this team to work with. We talked more about my vision, colors, flowers I liked, etc. and I let them run with that and let their creativity run wild. What I got in result were florals and arrangements even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined!
The pieces used for our ceremony were stunning, and I loved that we were able to have them moved during the reception to enjoy them even more!
My bouquet (I believe it was made by Amanda) and my MOH bouquets were gorgeous. I wish I could have frozen them in time and kept them forever. I especially loved how they incorporated my favorite flower, peonies, into the bouquet and different table arrangements.
I can’t thank the team at Bowerbird enough for creating so much beauty to frame our wedding day. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I was a bride with an overall vision of how I wanted the "feel" of our wedding, but I wasn't sure on the little details... I knew that flowers were important to me but I had no ideas to offer other than Pinterest pics of elements of bouquets that I liked, the words "romantic, rustic, airy, free-spirited", and my wedding colors. Diane worked her magic (I swear she is the flower fairy godmother) and created GORGEOUS creations which exceeded my expectations and nailed our vision. Everything was perfect the day of, and Diane came early to help arrange all the flowers and ensure my DIY centerpieces would work out okay. From the time my mom and I met Diane, we all felt like friends and she made us feel SO at ease not only about the flowers, but many aspects of the wedding. She was quick to help us think through things and offer up advice for cost-saving ideas. You won't regret choosing Bowerbird Flowers! -

Working with Bowerbird was honestly phenomenal! They exceeded my wildest dreams with the most beautiful floral arrangements and bouqets I've ever seen. Not only were the flowers phenomenal, but Diane and Lily were such a joy to work with. You can tell that flowers are their passion and that comes through with every interaction I had with them. Even on the day of our wedding when Diane delivered the flowers- I mentioned how in love I was with the flowers, and she almost cried. She truly loves her work - and that's all you can ask for in a wedding vendor! I would recommend Bowerbird 1000x over. -

We talked through the ideas that we had for our wedding but admitted that we didn't have strict guidelines. Basically, we needed so much help figuring out what to even do, and Diane was incredibly patient and generous with her time. We worked on a theme with slight variations, including a welcome piece that was inspired by my grandma's paintings. -

We used Bowerbird Flowers for our engagement party, bridal luncheon and wedding and I cannot say enough great things about Lily and Diane. They were patient at each stage, carefully listened to my vision and exceeded our expectations in executing that vision while meeting our budget. Our wedding was the modern and elegant garden party of our dreams! I was lucky enough to hire Bowerbird to be the florist for my sister's last minute wedding that I planned in 2 weeks. I loved their free-flowing style and wanted some bad ass fall flowers for an outdoor forest wedding. It's tough to find a florist who will work with you on such short notice, and even rarer to find one who - I kid you not - knows what you want more than you do. I sent a few pinterest inspiration pictures, had a phone consult (since I'm not local). Then I find out that my sister likes the style I picked, but wants the flowers to be very colorful (I had previously been thinking blush, burgundy, deep purple, etc.). I was super nervous how it would turn out and was SHOCKED when we picked up the flowers. They were EXACTLY what we wanted. Colorful, wild, but beautiful and tasteful. They set off the intimate wedding ceremony to perfection. Plus Diane and Lily were such a pleasure to work with! Cannot recommend them enough! -

My husband and I love Greek mythology and knew that we wanted some sort of homage to that. Diane and Lily nailed it! They suggested we use their weathered pillars and vases for our altar pieces, and the pictures speak for themselves. My laurel wreath-inspired crown was perfect - everyone loved it. We're just so pleased with how big a statement their flowers made all the while keeping it simple and in-budget. -
