Absolutely Incredible!!

We had the pleasure of working with Bow Tied Weddings our whole wedding weekend. They were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! They helped run all the Friday rehearsal details, emceed and DJed our rehearsal dinner. On Saturday, wedding day, Bow Tied Weddings made our big day go so smoothly: from setup-details, emceeing, coordinating the whole day, creating the wedding time line and of course having the BEST DANCE PARTY we could ask for. For our Sunday wedding brunch, they were there to help us end the best weekend ever with playing fun tunes.

From the moment we met Bow Tied Weddings, they immediately offered to help us through this wedding process. They recommended vendors and answered any questions we had along the way. They made it a point to built a relationship with us & our other wedding vendors.

Bow Tied Weddings went above and beyond professionally but also personally. We think so highly of them and all they did to make our wedding weekend so special. We truly love them and will now always have a special place for Bow Tied Weddings in our hearts. By the time we had to part for the weekend there were definitely some tears because they put so much heart & soul into their clients. We would highly recommend Bow Tied Weddings to make your day or wedding weekend perfect!

The Perfect Night

We met Matthew 10 months before our wedding, in hopes of finding a DJ that would match the energy of our wedding guests and meet our high expectations for wedding entertainment. We were thrilled to say that he surpassed those expectations and turned the night into something more than we could have ever imagined. We signed with him for our reception music, but he was super helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding and even organizing some special non-music requests on the big day. He personalized the night to us and our crowd. We even decided to extend the party an hour later, despite recommendations from other vendors, and Matthew not only made it happen, but kept the dance floor full the entire time until our send off. If you want a DJ to push buttons and play the next song on a playlist, he’s not your guy. But if you want a true professional, who is passionate about his work, and wants the best for his clients, look no further.

Excellent Service, Well Worth the Price

Matthew went above and beyond making our wedding reception as seamless as possible and it showed. We had multiple meetings beforehand so he could get a sense of what we wanted and again, it really showed. Guests had nothing but positive feedback about the big day, and a lot of that was due to Matthew's attentiveness and service. Just a few examples were his willingness to set up our floral arrangements and activate an audio guestbook without us even asking him to do that. He got the dance floor going and kept the party moving. Additionally, after the reception was over, he stayed behind, cleaned up all of our leftover decorations and other items and stored them for us, again without us asking. Would absolutely recommend Bow Tied Experiences to anyone looking to throw an epic reception.

I booked Matthew out 18 months in advance because I was that set on having him be our wedding DJ and I am SO glad we did! He is second to none in customer service, professionalism, ease of working with him, and his quality and performance. The dance floor was packed all night & everyone was telling me how awesome our DJ was. Honestly, the DJ was the most important vendor to us, they can make or break a wedding in my opinion, and he definitely made ours one for the books. I cannot recommend Matthew and Bow Tied Weddings enough! Do yourself the favor and message him for your event :)

Exceeded All Expectations

Matt went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we hoped for and then some! From the start, he was personable and made an effort to get to know us as a couple and what our guests might look for, rather than making assumptions or working off a "templated plan." He was nonjudgmental and offered creative suggestions/solutions on matters we didn't think of or didn't know enough about. At the same time, he took into account every tiny/unusual request or detail we asked for. Countless guests commented on how skilled he was at reading the room and keeping the energy high all night... guests who otherwise don't dance or party at weddings were on the dance floor all night thanks to Matt! While we only hired him as a DJ, from what I understand he has since added on coordinator services, and he showcased those skills as well! He was more than just a DJ who shows up to play songs- he worked seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure a smooth flow. He kept us on schedule, moving things along just as we had imagined, while staying flexible with our whims throughout the night. He even checked in to make sure we had drinks, food, etc. as festivities went along. He is truly dedicated to his role, and his passion shines through, making our day even better than we could have ever imagined!

Such a Fun Experience!

Bow Tied Weddings was such a fun experience! After a year delay due to the pandemic, the long awaited dance party at our anniversary vow renewal celebration was a hit. Matthew played all the best music that people wanted to dance to and have a good time with and none of the lame, worn out wedding songs! During the planning process they were super attentive, great with communication, and flexible with my vision for a slightly different run of show since it was a renewal event. They helped keep the party going all night long and appreciate all they did! We had a blast!

Excellent DJ

Through rescheduling and changing venues, Matthew was consistently great to work with. We had a multicultural wedding and he researched the Ethiopian music that my wife's family wanted, effortlessly working it into the crowd pleasers everyone expects to hear. Our guests consistently raved about the music.

The Best in the Business!

Matthew and Karese were phenomenal throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day! Colin and I could not have picked a better duo to play music for our cocktail hour, lead our reception festivities and music, and just be a calming, yet fun presence for us. Up until the wedding, they met with us a few times, answering any questions and making sure that everything would be perfect for our day. During the reception, they knew exactly how to make our guests feel comfortable and have a fun time. They gave us the idea of having a last dance while guests were getting ready for our grand exit and we absolutely loved this part of our day! We were blown away by the level of entertainment that Matthew and Karese provide. I highly recommend booking with BowTied Weddings, they are truly the best!

Book them!!

We loved working with the Bow Tied team. We worked with Matt originally, and then due to postponing (COVID) we got to work with Bessan for our perfect day. We loved the process with Bow Tied where they met with you, provided a survey to get to know you and your music tastes for you wedding, and then they BRING THE EVERGY on the day of. Everything was flawless day of. Thank you Bessan!!!

Best Duo Ever!

Wow, where do I even start! Matthew and Karese were a dream team to work with. They were there for us from 2 weeks before our wedding until our farewell brunch the day after the wedding. Matthew was very attentive to the crowd and played a diverse mixture of songs that everyone enjoyed all night. The wedding was supposed to end at 10pm but because everyone was having so much fun, Matthew kept the party going until 1am! And Karese was an absolute god send. I never hired a wedding coordinator (biggest mistake ever) and Karese stepped up and handled everything. From the rehearsal, decorating, and day of set up to making sure our entire wedding ran smoothly. Working with Matthew and Karese was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and we’re happy to say that they weren’t just vendors, but became friends by the end of our festivities. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our wedding so special. If you’re thinking about working with them DEFINITELY do it, you won’t be disappointed! 😊

Just Amazing - Book Them!

Matt & Karese were just awesome. From the beginning, they were so personable and really took the time to know us as a couple. We had multiple video chats leading up to our wedding which made us feel really comfortable with them. They came by on our rehearsal dinner night and they were just so genuine and kind. They are also hilarious and had us laughing every time we met. Matt nailed the music on our wedding night and we had the best time. They are truly a power couple and two of the nicest people we've ever met. Book them now!

Beyond Amazing

Matthew and Karese are two of the most genuine, kind, and loving people we have had the honor of meeting. From the very start, their full attention was on us and our wedding day. We had the pleasure of being able to meet them in person a few days ahead of time to get to know each other, finalize song choices and get a feel for how the day would go. Their experience helped us make our tough decisions in a matter of seconds. He was there when we needed recommendations for certain songs (because who knows what song they want to cut the cake to? not us.) Matthew and Karese even came to our rehearsal dinner so they could meet our families and bridal party and make sure everyone was comfortable with them. We felt like we had our long-time friends as our DJ and helping hands. Matthew did an amazing job at keeping the flow and making sure everyone was out on the dance floor. At the end of the night when our final shuttle did not arrive as planned, Matthew and Karese were gracious enough to take as many as they could back to the hotel, including me and my husband. They went above and beyond what we could have ever expected, and we are so lucky to have had them be a part of our wedding day!

Simply the best!

We feel so fortunate that we were able to have Bow Tied Weddings be our wedding DJ. We first booked them back in 2019. We knew we made the right decision to hire them then, but through our engagement they proved this time and time again. Because of the pandemic, we had to to push our wedding back twice. Through all the chaos/confusion/frustration, they stayed with us and helped us navigate all the steps. When the big day finally came in 2021, they showed up BIG time and kept our guests entertained the whole night. Jimmy was our DJ and despite some hiccups with our venue, he kept the party going! We are so grateful to have worked with Bow Tied Weddings! Our big day wouldn't have been what it was without them!

Book them!

Matt and Karese have been so helpful through the planning process. From the moment we booked even until after our wedding they made sure we had a great experience. I can go on and on about why you should book them but one thing that stands out more than the rest to me is on the day of our wedding, Matt noticed our crowd liked to be outside rather than inside where he originally had setup. Recognizing that, he asked us if we would be ok (after the formalities finished) if he moved his set outside to better serve our guests. Of course we said yes and it took him 5 minutes to switch locations mid wedding and nobody even noticed because he had music playing on a speaker inside the whole time he moved his stuff. Bow Tied Weddings definitely goes above and beyond for their couples! I recommend booking them for any event!

Get Jiggy with it!

Throughout the entire process, Matthew was great to work with and was extremely flexible especially during the pandemic as we had to reschedule our wedding twice. He really took the time to get to know us to ensure he understood our vision entertainment-wise for our wedding. Prior to the wedding we filled out a detailed questionnaire outlining song and genre suggestions, as well as our must-play list which we went over extensively with him and his business partner and fiancé, Karese, the week of. They were extremely knowledgeable and offered wonderful advice we didn’t even consider for our wedding night. They did ask if they could stop by at our rehearsal dinner to meet our family and bridal party to get to know them a little beforehand and hear their song recommendations to ensure everyone had a great time! I will say this threw a lot of people off especially since we were being served dinner at the time they arrived – which was not their fault. My only suggestion would be, if this continues, is to try and meet at the rehearsal instead of the rehearsal dinner since the dinner is typically a more intimate setting and it’s difficult to know when the right time is to show up.

Overall, Matthew is a fun and energetic guy and did a great job reading the dance floor and adjusted the music to keep the dance floor upbeat and lively. It seemed like everyone had a great time busting some moves! If you’re looking for a good time for your wedding, look no further 😊

Matthew and his team were great to work with. We had our 2020 COVID wedding and Matthew was very professional and friendly during the whole process from beginning to end. Excellent!

Based off their reviews we knew we wanted to hire Bow Tied Weddings. We wanted a fun dance party at our wedding. They were very responsive and appropriately priced. Unfortunately, COVID-19 made us reschedule our wedding. Matthew and Bessan were kind, checking in with video chats to make sure we were okay and still planning. When our wedding finally came, Bessan was excellent! As MC he was able to direct guests and help keep introductions and speeches timely. We had to make safe changes due to COVID-19; including moving our dancefloor outdoors. Bessan was able to get the party started even socially distanced! He could read the room well, he keep things lively and his music transitions kept everyone dancing. Everyone still had an amazing time despite COIVD. My favorite part was when he got up on the table during Shout to get everybody dancing! Thank you so much!

Creative & So Helpful

Matt was a blast to work with and went above and beyond with our difficult set-up and special COVID details. We had multiple different outdoor locations and the sound was perfect everywhere! We also needed to work around logistical issues since our timeline and layout were't quite traditional and Matt had creative ideas and made everything go seamlessly. Not only was the sound great but he was a wonderful master of ceremony!

Jimmy was a blast!

Jimmy absolutely made our wedding! He was fun yet professional, flexible but took the reigns on the flow of the day, and absolutely hilarious. He got people on the dance floor! He was an absolute joy to work with and we can’t say how happy we are that we went with Bow Tied Weddings. Matthew “interviewed” us up front to match us perfectly with Jimmy. They were easy to work with, reasonably priced, and we will definitely recommend them to our friends.

AMAZING DJ for our Wedding!

Bessan and Matt were an amazing team for our wedding with Bow Tied. Matt's responsiveness when we first hired their group and all throughout the craziness of changing plans because of COVID was unmatched. They got on the phone/video chat with us multiple times just to talk through our party vision, music and just to get to know them more! Bessan did a great job on the day adjusting the music to the vibe of the party, and kept the dance floor going all night. This group is a step above the rest for their customer service alone, they are so personable and outgoing. We seriously were so satisfied with this group, if you want a beautiful ceremony and an unbelievably fun reception, hire Bow Tied!

Thank you Matt!

Matt did such a great job DJing our wedding! The COVID pandemic certainly created a unique situation for a DJ, but he handled it with ease. He was very communicative during the planning process and held several video chats with us as we worked through the necessary changes. Even though we were not able to have the huge dance party we may have initially planned, the end result was a wonderful gathering filled with lots of fun and love. We are so grateful to Matt for his help in making sure we had a night to remember!

If I could give ten stars

If my five stars didn’t say it - let me tell you. Matthew is awesome! He was engaged, responsive, and listened to what we wanted. He worked with us on our music, gave us suggestions of what people had previously done, and during the wedding, made sure everyone was having a good time. He would check up on us and he did the emceeing and he was an integral part on the success of our wedding last weekend. His goal was to make sure my husband and I were having a great time. If you want someone you know you can trust, and don’t need to worry about arriving on time or doing what they say they’ll do - go with Bow tied. We’ve made a new friend out of this experience.

Fun, energetic, with a can-do-attitude!

We were extremely happy with our experience with BowTied Weddings! Matthew was extremely responsive and easy to work with from day 1! He drove all the way to Warrenton from Richmond for our walk-through and we are so glad he did! He was profoundly helpful in deciding where everything should be placed for our reception and strongly advocated for us with out venue coordinator. We also had a rather challenging ceremony site and he conquered it like the pro he is! Matthew did an amazing job with our song list and incorporating the eclectic requests we had! He even stayed late when we had an unexpected rain delay for cocktail hour and made the best of it- even dancing away the rain while drying off the dance floor! We could not recommend him or his company more highly! If you want a young, fun, energetic, and can-do-attitude DJ- look no further!

Kept the party moving

DJ M Face kept the party moving & grooving. My father had the time of his life on that dance floor! He was easy to work with, flexible with our schedules and the fact that we were a destination wedding couple, and he was very professional. Loved working with him and how easy he made it.

Love Bow Tied!

Bow Tied Weddings was absolutely amazing! We wanted a DJ that could keep everyone on the dance floor, even at our small 60-person wedding, and Matthew totally delivered. He answered all our questions along the way throughout the planning process, helped us with the timing of the little events along the way, and kept things moving nicely. Even when we changed the music for part of our ceremony the night before after 10pm, Matthew texted me right back and assured me it was no problem. He played a great selection of music during the reception, blending classic hits with modern songs seamlessly, and was a present (but not obnoxious!) emcee. We did a last dance at the end of our reception, and Matthew was great about getting everyone to leave, and then he snapped some really sweet pictures and a video of us. Our photographers had already left by then, so it was great to still be able to capture the moment. We truly enjoyed working with Matthew and recommend Bow Tied Weddings to everyone!

The Best DJ Ever

I was very wary about having a DJ as I had never been to a wedding with one, but Matthew was more than I could have asked for! Everybody was on the dance floor the entire night, he handled everything with ease and kept the wedding flowing so smoothly. I didn't even give him that much to work with because I had no idea what I was doing, but he made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

Highly recommend!

Working with Matthew as the DJ for our wedding was awesome! He was very hands on, met with us in person and via FaceTime multiple times, and got to know us and what we wanted from the entrance to dinner and speeches to dancing. He answered any questions we had, and made the process so easy. We filled out a questionnaire and he took care of the rest! Fun Time Wedding DJ

We had a great experience with Matt. He helped us find a musician for the ceremony and answered all our questions in a quick manner. He got the party going and changed the music to get more people on the dance floor when needed. He was great at announcing the bridal party and working with them (we had 8 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen). If you want a great DJ and a great dance party, Matt is your man.

Memorable day

Matthew helped make our wedding such a fun memorable time! All of my guests commented on how great Our DJ was. He was professional, fun, and took care of everything! I even had issues getting a generator prior to the event (that was 1.5 hours from RVA) and he volunteered to pick it up and bring it to our wedding and return it the next day!

Matthew asked us for music we wanted to play and we gave him a few “must haves”, but mostly to “feel the crowd” He did exactly that. I’ve never been to a wedding with so many guest dancing and I’m so thankful for Bow Tie DJs for giving us such a wonderful ceremony, cocktail and reception!

Matthew is outstanding!

Matthew and Bessan were THE BEST!!! They came highly recommended to us and the rest is now history. We met Matthew in person for the first time during walk through at the venue. We immediately realized how good we had it. Not only did we feel like we had a DJ but another strong advocate to make sure everything went as planned. He was more than happy to vocalize ideas which was MUCH appreciated. Our wedding night came with unexpected heavy rain and I remember looking out to find him dancing on the floor with towels on his feet so that everything would be dry. He was also soaking wet and could of cared less. He is so positive and of course an AWESOME DJ. All of our guests had a blast. He sure knew how to keep the party going. Bow tied weddings is worth every penny and then some. I am rarely impressed enough to write reviews. Book Bow Tied and you will not be disappointed!!!

Best Party Ever!

Matthew and Bow Tied Weddings are amazing! They provided all of the music for our wedding from the ceremony through the reception. Matthew does an excellent job of reading the crowd and updating his playlist in real-time so that the dance floor is never empty. In fact, I don't think I left the dance floor all night. Our guests have told us that this was one of the best "dance party" weddings they have ever attended! If you want someone who will listen to your needs and provide an amazing atmosphere then book with Bow Tied!

World Class Service For Our Special Day

Wes was an awesome DJ! He was the consummate professional for our wedding and we were blessed to have him. Both Wes and Freddy came prepared for our event by working with our event planner, several of our vendors, and also scheduled several calls to coordinate with my wife and I to make sure our song choices and requests were heard.

During the reception, Wes was not only a great hype man by getting our wedding guest on the dance floor, but was able to work with the rest of our wedding party as well with the right cues on speeches, lighting, and creating the perfect flow for the timeline to our wedding. Wes also did an Awesome job with our playlist and incorporating the songs we had on our wedding playlist!

Overall, Wes would be the perfect DJ and compliment to their wedding! Thanks again for making our day the best celebration of our lives :)

Guests are still talking about our music!

When I first started looking for a DJ, I wasn't sure where to start. We looked on wedding wire and Matthew and his group at Bow Tied Weddings had great reviews. As soon as my husband and I met with Matthew, we instantly knew why. Matthew was fun and personable and we knew he would help us create the party of our dreams. He was always available to meet with us whether over facebook video or in person and guided us through the process. Don't hesitate to ask Matthew about non-music related questions; he really knows his stuff and has amazing ideas! He helped us create a floor plan that suited our needs and desires better than what we had come up with on our own. Come wedding day, Matthew was available for myself and my husband for any and all last minute questions and to put a drink in my hand. The music was awesome and our guests raved! Matt was soooooo awesome!! For my wedding I told him to play what he felt like people would know and love and he did just that! He reads the crowds incredibly well and helped out so much with my timeline it was amazing. Best dance party!

What else can I say about BowTied Weddings or Matthew, other than AMAZING! We had the best time of our lives and so did all of our guests. Matthew worked with us for the most perfect ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance party music ever! We couldn’t rave about him more, you need him for your special day! He does SO much more than just DJ. From our first meeting through our big day, working with Bessan was more than we could have hoped for!

Going into our first meeting, my wife and I had no idea what to expect or what we needed to do when seeking a DJ to work with for our wedding reception. From the start of our conversation, it was clear that Bessan cares about the people that he works with and really took the time to understand us, our story, our interests, our goals, and how he could best help us create the type of experience we were envisioning. It took no more than a walk to the car for us to make a decision to move forward with him.
During the weeks before our wedding, Bessan was easily accessible, responsive and eager to accomodate.
At our reception, Bessan was so great with engaging everyone in the room in the party and reading the room throughout the evening to really create an experience we will never forget!

Great Experience!

Bow Ties Make Everything Better

From one bride to another, hire Bow Tied Weddings. From the moment we contacted them, they were responsive, professional, very helpful, and so clearly energized by their work and the couples they work with. I had high expectations for an epic dance party at our wedding, and Bow Tied Weddings more than delivered. Matthew kept 155 people, including me, on the dance floor all night! Non stop party!

Matthew was unbelievable. He was a blast to work with before the wedding, always made time to chat with us over the phone/meet and get drinks and even came to a wedding planning meeting with us and was so helpful! He’s so great at what he does, we had all 100 guests on the dance floor until the very end, nobody wanted the night to end! Very responsive and fun to collaborate with!

Matt was very responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process! The Bow Tied portal was great for uploading our must play songs and information about our wedding day. Matt checked in with us multiple times before the event to answer questions and provide suggestions. We were grateful for his knowledge with non religious ceremony music and upbeat cocktail hour selections. Matt was conscious of volume during dinner hour and played our favorite songs during the reception. We were grateful for this DJ referral!

We were seriously impressed with Jimmy! He was so quick to respond to our emails and initiate meetings to go over our schedule and music ideas. He did a great job on our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. My husband was wary not having an Indian DJ but Jimmy was able to play every song we requested, even the exact version of Tu Kitni Acchi Hai for the mother-son dance! He also played every Indian song our guests requested, from Tunak Tunak Tun to Jimpak Chimpak. I would absolutely recommend BowTied Weddings! Matthew was the DJ for our wedding, and he was VERY responsive and engaged in the planning process from my initial video chat about pricing to the day of the wedding. I was particularly looking for someone on the younger side to make sure we threw a great party for our young friends in their 20's all the way up to our grandparents. He exceeded our expectations by offering to meet with us often to discuss the event and providing great equipment (including mic'ing for the ceremony) and a clean set up. Matthew was clearly well versed in all things weddings, and was surprisingly helpful with unrelated questions like how to stock our open bar! BowTied Weddings charges a lot for their services, but you're paying for the DJ's time and attention throughout the year, and that is worth the cost to a lot of brides.

Matthew from Bow Tied Weddings was amazing! He went out of his way to meet with us in person TWICE before our wedding day, even though we lived over 4 hours away. He was definitely interested in knowing exactly what my husband and I were expecting for our reception and helped us make decisions on timeline of the night, special events/activities to include, and even layout of the reception hall. Even though we had a small wedding with only 70 guests, our dance floor was always packed and we received great feedback on the music selection-- I think it was a great blend of current music and a few "older" songs to make sure all generations were happy and dancing. Matthew was interactive with the crowd but still professional-- we couldn't be happier! One more important story to share is that when our string trio arrived 30 minutes late and very nearly missed the ceremony, Matthew was there early (even though we had only hired him for the reception) and prepared to set up speakers to play our ceremony music, which made us feel infinitely less stressed knowing that he was there to save the day if anything should go wrong. We really can't say enough good things about Matthew and Bow Tied Weddings!

I highly recommend Bow Tied Weddings! Matthew was very responsive and flexible with us. He kept the wedding flowing and worked well with all of our other vendors. My husband and I chose our ceremony and first dance songs, but left the rest up to him and we couldn't have been more pleased. Do you want a DJ that enjoys what he does, makes sure you get exactly what you want, will entertain your guests all night long, and is super affordable? Then look no further, Matthew Davey is your guy! Matthew was so much fun to work with throughout our entire wedding planning process. You can tell he really LOVES what he does. My wife and I were picky with our music but he was patient and helped with song selections. We were stumped on a few song selections but Matthew instantly came up with ways to make our ceremony/reception the best it could be. I have to say that I could not have been any more satisfied with the way the wedding went. Seth was very quick to any messages that I sent, there was not one thing I brought up that he couldn't do, and he was very attentive. Seth is the best DJ around and ever. Everyone was so happy with the music all night and he truly knew exactly what we and the crowd wanted to listen to !! So glad he could be at our wedding and couldn't recommend him enough!

Seth was amazing! He took our wedding to next level. He was so professional yet personable and fun. He met with us on many occasions and made sure all of our wants and needs were met! He kept the party going all night! So many of our guests have said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to and I think Seth played a big part in that! He gave the option of sending him songs we wanted to play and we completely forgot to send it over and without the list he picked the perfect songs for us! He even let me (the bride) DJ with him! I 100% reccomend him and the whole team to all future brides/grooms, you will not be disappointed at all. His services were, hands down, the best money we spent for the wedding. My husband and I keep joking we want to throw another party big enough for a DJ just so we can hire Seth again.

Seth did such an awesome job at my wedding! He was incredibly considerate of all the types of songs o wanted and knew exactly what kind of dance party I was looking for! Best night of my life. Would definitely recommend!

We could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Matt was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was happy to meet with us as many times as needed before the big day! At the wedding itself, he was professional, fun, and VERY engaging with our guests! Everyone complimented us on Matt and all of the songs he played. Aside from just being a fun presence, he also worked incredibly wel with our day of planner to ensure he helped keep us on time with the various events (cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss, etc). Matt knew our mission was to have a party and he absolutely delivered!! I can't recommend him enough!

If you are looking for a Dj who wants to be involved with the timeline of your wedding day and cares about what type of music you want to have at your wedding then Bow Tie Weddings should be your vendor. My husband and I got married on June 17th and had Seth Kravitz as our Dj. He was awesome and very personable! He really tried to be involved in the planning process and met with my husband and I on various occasions. Throughout the wedding planning process I would email him to get his thoughts and ideas on certain things and he would email me back right away. He knew what songs we wanted him to play throughout the night but still made the crowd happy by taking requests. He also is very observant of the bride and groom and tries to make sure that you are having a good time. You can't go wrong with this company!

We worked with Seth and were very impressed from our first meeting to the last song at the wedding. He was very detail oriented, extremely polite, and made a huge effort to understand what our style of music was and what we wanted our wedding to be like. Every single person was on the dance floor having a blast thanks to him. Throughout the night and after the wedding, we have had so many guests say how great the music and party was. Seth went above and beyond working with our day of coordinator to ensure the timeline and details of the day ran smoothly. We can't recommend BowTied DJs enough!

We were looking for an awesome DJ to serve as our master of ceremony and be the center of the wedding reception. Matt and Bow Tied Weddings delivered! We couldn't have been happier with his professionalism and service throughout the planning process. He even took the time to travel to the wedding venue two hours north of Richmond in Mcgaheysville, VA about a month before the wedding to finalize the timeline and reception layout with the venue coordinator at The Columns at Six Penny Farm which was awesome. He understood exactly what we wanted and arrived hours before the even to ensure he and the photographer were on the same timeline and that he could mic up our officiant for the ceremony. Being an outdoor ceremony, he recommended we use a speaker with a wireless microphone so that all of our guests could hear the officiant and hear us exchange vows...he was right. People loved the ceremony and that small service made a huge difference. Throughout the reception he did a phenomenal job introducing the wedding party and leading us through each even throughout the night. He closed the evening by introducing us before our sparkler send-off. Our wedding couldn't have been more perfect and we owe Matt for that. If entertainment is your number one priority for your wedding, look no further than Bow Tied Weddings...you will not be dissappinted!

Seth was absolutely amazing, he really made wedding and reception hit! He stayed in touch with me from the beginning when we began communicating about a year prior to the wedding. Seth was great at helping me with my timeline for my wedding day since last minute I was pulled for 2 month TDY and returning 2 weeks before the wedding. Seth set up Skype video calls since I was unable to meet face to face due to being in Texas for training and not able to meet for the normal follow up appointments the weeks prior to the wedding, he was very accommodating to my situation. Seth helped make my day flow so much better by helping coordinate the events of the evening and also incorporating in my crazy request such as dances with my 2 young kids, step parent dances, a special request song for my mom and also salsa music. I could not of asked for a better DJ for my wedding and all my guests loved him!

Matthew was exceptional and made the wedding so much fun. Music for us was important and i knew after talking with Matthew that i wouldnt have to worry about that any more. Wouldnt change a thing and he was so helpful through out the process and goes above and beyond to make sure not only the music runs smoothly, but the entire event.

DJ Krav was awesome to work with! He took all our music suggestions and special requests and made it into an incredible mix of all the music we love. From the arrival of our guests to the dance party we had the party going all night! We highly recommend DJ Krav for anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Dj mface made our wedding one of a kind! From singing and dancing to just keeping the party going, Matthew rocked it! Bowtied weddings is the Dj you should choose, stop looking and call them right now. Best investment for the big day ! As the bride I was dancing and literally heard one of the guests sat "wow, this Dj is awesome!" Nothing makes you feel better in that moment!

Matthew did an amazing job at our wedding, especially given that we didn't have to give him much instruction to meet our expectations. He was able to incorporate a flow for the style of music that worked for the crowd. We'd highly recommend BowTied Weddings and Matthew for any event.

We used Seth at Bow Tied as our Master of Ceremonies and couldn't have been happier. He was so helpful and flexible. Our reception was so fun, the music was great, and we couldn't have done it without Seth's help. Our guests were complimenting him throughout the evening. Their lighting packages are super convenient and reasonably priced as well! If you want an awesome atmosphere, we would recommend these guys, hands down.

Jimmy was the BEST! He not only provided music for the reception that was perfect and kept everyone dancing but his suggestions throughout the planning process made life SO much easier. We put a lot of trust in him as neither Craig or I are very decisive people and Jimmy blew us away. He was ontop of everything from start to finish and is now a good friend of ours. HIGHLY recommend especially if you need help coming up with ideas!

Wes was our DJ and he was awesome! I would absolutely recommend him to any future couples. He was fun and engaging and kept the timeline running smoothly. All of our guests really enjoyed the music he played and he had everyone dancing all night! He listened well to our requests, but was also great at providing his professional feedback and suggestions when we asked for it. :)

From the initial conversations to the beers and catch ups in between, working with Matt was great! After one meeting he instantly understood our music style and executed perfectly. So many people told us how awesome our DJ was.

Wes was awesome! We booked him just before he signed with Bow Tie, so we got the best of both worlds with value and professionalism. I would very highly recommend Wes Suitt for your event. He gave us exactly the experience we were hoping for, and then some. Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly, and Wes and Bow Tied were a big part of that.

Several friends recommended Bow Tied Weddings so my husband and I chose them for our April wedding. We were so pleased with Wes! We couldn't have had a more fun, fantastic DJ. He was very professional and accommodating from the start. I was pretty picky about the songs I wanted played and he didn't disappoint! I had a surprise dance for my father/daughter dance. The day of the wedding, I asked Wes to put a little twist on our music and he knew just what to do! It turned out perfectly! He kept the party going and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. He did the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and everything was flawless. One of my favorite pictures of the night was the selfie Wes took with all of the wedding party! His outfit was great, too! We loved working with Wes and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for any affair! I've also attended two weddings that Matthew worked and he was great, too!

Matthew was great to work with. He was helpful along the way with both our wedding music and finding other vendors. For the big day, everyone had an AWESOME time because of his playlists and energy. We gave specific songs we wanted played and he accommodated everything, including oldies and brand new stuff. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

Wes Suitt was the DJ for my wedding and has been a friend for over 10 years. I wouldn't have had anyone else be our DJ. He is professional, polite and has a genuine interest in making sure your day goes smooth. My mother and aunt kept saying what a class act he is! Wes has a very thorough song checklist to fill out. I found this so helpful and it put mind at ease knowing every song was played at the right time! He is beyond friendly and all my friends and family had a blast!! If you're looking for a DJ for your upcoming wedding or event, Wes is definitely your man!!!

Matthew is amazing! He met us several times throughout the planning process to make sure we were on track and if we had any questions. We had some trouble picking out key songs and Matthew took the time to help us create a list. He knows how to read a crowd and how to get your guests out on the dance floor! We had many guests come up to us and say how awesome he is! Worth every penny!
