We hired Boston Wedding DJ to help set up some of our lighting for our June 2022 wedding, and couldn't be happier with their work. Robert and Ashley and the rest of their team helped us design canopy lighting for a complicated indoor museum space requiring trusses and a short assembly time. On the day of the wedding and reception, they completed their work quickly and professionally, and their lighting design completely transformed the space, the mood, the dance floor, and the photos of the night.
Our guests absolutely loved the lights and it was our personal favorite part of the space. Gorgeous work, and professional, communicative and kind people to work with.

The DJ services and MC are top of the line and the uplighting is highly recommended. As a media guy myself, I was very impressed with the services provided. We had an outdoor tent with limited outlets and were concerned the lighting would be grouped around the few outlets. That is not the case with Boston Wedding DJ. They have a wireless lighting system and flooded the tent with color. Great services! -

It didn't end up being an issue, but he worked very hard to come up with solutions so everyone could hear our chosen music. I felt like he read the room well and chose songs appropriately. I know me and my bridal party were dancing all night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Boston Party DJ to anyone in need of musical entertainment -

I was really excited for Robert to dj our wedding. After reading positive reviews I booked him. Throughout the planning process Robert was responsive and seemed to understand our taste in music through phone contact. During the cocktail hour and reception many of our guests gave us negative feedback around the music being played and requested that he play something else. Older guests had a difficult time hearing Robert during the wedding party introductions and were unclear of what he was saying. The reception music was mediocre. We were disappointed because music was VERY important to us, which was expressed to Robert. A majority of the songs on our playlist were not played and songs/ artists on our do not playlist were played.
We purchased a lighting package however we did not see much of a difference in the room at all and felt like the money spent was a waste. Despite our feelings, guests seemed to enjoy the night. Unfortunately, I felt as though he was very mediocre and was more into his phone than doing our wedding.
