Everyone at Born to DJ was helpful, professional, not to mention patient with our endless questions! They were so supportive throughout our planning process and their communication was top notch. At the actual wedding and reception, James did a superb job of keeping the dance floor filled, changing the music to fit the crowd. He ensured that the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing music was in line with our requests. He always asked for our ideas and preferences, but had a knack for knowing when we needed to use his expertise. We were his first Filipina Money Dance couple!! :) Even my husband, who admits he is NOT a dancer, was on the floor most of the night with me! From what our friends tell us, James kept the party going after we left! They are truly a first class company and we would highly recommend them to anyone we know. Thank you Born to DJ for helping make our fairytale wedding a dream come true! -

James was incredible and kept the dance floor going all night at my wedding! Guests couldn't stop talking about how great the music selection was and he was awesome to work with throughout the entire process, along with the rest of the born to DJ team. Great communication and my husband and I couldn't be happier with how our wedding turned out. Highly recommend!! -

Book Born to DJ for an incredible event!
James and team were fantastic to work with. By far one of the top 5 DJ experiences for any occasion. DJ JD knows the room and sets up the perfect experience to keep the crowd engaged and the dance floor packed. Our guests talked for days about how phenomenal the music and DJ were. -

The best dj
James was the DJ for my wedding just two weeks ago! Going into the planning process, I knew Born to DJ because James also did my sister's wedding. He is one of the only DJ's I know that constantly reads the crowd. If he can tell people aren't liking a song, he will change it to keep everything lively. I wanted my wedding day to be a huge party, and I really wanted people dancing for the majority of it. That is not an easy thing to do but I have seen James keep people dancing and engaged at my sister's wedding and now mine. The planning couldn't have been easier, and I always felt reassured after speaking with him. Born to DJ couldn't have done better and I highly HIGHLY recommend them. -

We worked with Born to DJ for our wedding at Castle McCulloch on November 16, 2021, and we HIGHLY recommend them! They were so helpful and were quick to respond to my many, many questions as the bride. They even used my Spotify playlist that we made for our wedding, and they are highly detailed and work with you to get every detail just right for your big day. -

Wedding day 10/3/20 dj experience
We recently just got married and on our wedding day Dj James showed up ahead of time had everything set up ready to go. He played our ceremony music, entrance music, he did all of our announcements, and played music the whole time. We had last minute changes to our wedding schedule and music and he worked with us to get it done! He did an absolute incredible job. Our whole wedding had great music playing and everyone had a blast. It was one heck of a party cause of our experience we had with this company! I would totally recommend him to everyone for all their dj needs! -

They were good at announcing what was next and keeping the party atmosphere up at the reception. They also handled our ceremony and that was lovely too. I have zero complaints about them. -

Mr. Weaks DJ'd our wedding ceremony and reception on 9/19/2020. We had reduced guest count due to COVID, and in spite of those changes, he was flexible and accommodating with our needs. He did an awesome job getting and keeping our guests entertained. His transitions were seamless - from general announcements and toasts to the Shoe Game to open dance floor. Our group represented multiple generations and cultures, and Born to DJ curated selections that brought us all together. We would definitely re-hire him for our future events.
