    Great option for any event

    I've used Booth By Mail three times now (twice for weddings & once for a holiday party) and I couldn't be happier! Super easy to set-up, use, and send back. Plus their team is super responsive if you do have any questions. I would say, if you're ordering it for your wedding, or as a gift for someone else's where you won't be available to set it up and stuff, designate someone to handle the booth stuff (i.e. setup, refilling photo paper, take down) so that you don't have to worry about it. Also, I recommend getting the personalized logo! You get to design it yourself (I used canva) and it just adds that extra touch.

    Great value

    I'm very happy that we got this for our small wedding. It arrived on time, was easy to set up and use, and return was straightforward.

    They were ready to answer any of my questions

    They assisted me with all my concerns. I recieved it on and it was easy to set up and use.

    Reasonable and Fun

    This was a really great option for us as it was something we wanted to do, but did not want to have to spend that much on it. It was very reasonable and worked great. The only thing I wish they did was reimbursed you for the prints that were unopened.

    Excellent Photo Booth

    Booth By Mail is an excellent way to go for a photo booth that won't break the bank! They were very helpful throughout the process, answering my questions and even helping me change my address when I found out that I could deliver to my venue. Set-up was easy and our guests had a great time using the photo booth. I would definitely recommend that you have a friend or family member responsible for helping with paper and ink changes but otherwise guests were able to use it with ease. I forgot to grab the photos off of the device and they also helped me recover my photos! I will definitely use them again in the future for other events if I need a photo booth!

    Booth by mail was a hit at our wedding. The ordering process was easy and the booth arrived 2 days early. Our guest could not get enough of the booth. The only issue we had was with the printer. Make sure you set it up in advance and have instructions for the guest blown up. We were still able to print after the wedding but it would have been nice to have the prints that night. Also, customer service was amazing! They walked us thru the whole printing process.

    Booth by mail was great! All of our guests loved it and everyone got a few photos in. Setup and breakdown were quick and easy and the booth itself was easy for our guests to use. Customer service was also excellent and we really appreciated the assistance we received when we called about changing our custom logo on the bottom of our photo strips prior to the wedding. Props could've been better - some were close to falling apart when they arrived but they were all paper, so we anticipated it. We ended up buying a ton of our own props from Party City for around ~$50, which added some more fun and creativity.

    Wedding photo booth

    I hired Booth by Mail for my wedding on 5/28/22. The customer service was awesome! However using the booth was a little bit of an issue. The guests couldn't figure out how to get the booth started so it wasn't used hardly at all during the reception. I loved the idea of having it but, it hardly got used so it wasn't worth the money for us.

    Booth By Mail is a great, inexpensive photobooth option! The kit arrived early, was easy to set up, break down, and return. My best man set it up on the morning of the wedding, which took about 15 minutes and there were several design options to customize. We had to reload the paper a few times during the wedding, which was not a big deal. Our guests enjoyed the booth and were able to print & email the photos. In addition, we have access to all of the photos on the app. Highly recommended.

    The booth came 2 days before the wedding. It was pretty simple to setup. The lighting took a little getting used to and the printer worked pretty slow. The props they give you are made out of cheap paper and fell apart easily. I ordered some extra props and I'm glad I did. They want you to mail the booth back the next day, so we didn't have enough time to download the pictures from the chip. Overall, I feel like it was a good value. Every other booth I could find was at least $800.

    Took Dark Wouldn’t Use Again

    The images were extremely dark. I played with the booth for hours trying to get the lighting better. I recreated the environment with my own iPad and the image were much brighter. If your are darker in complexion, I would suggest paying for a Photo Booth with another company. We paid for extra prints and only used one package. It was truly a waste of money. Even friends and family at the wedding said it was too dark and decided to use their own phones to take photos with props. The lighting in the building was not an issue, I think it was the iPad. I attached a picture that was sent in the online photo book. If you wanted multiple people in the photo you would not see them. We had to literally sand in front of the iPad to be seen. No I did not ask for a refund because the product did as they suggested.

    Photo booth stopped working many times

    On our big day the photo booth broke down 4 times and my groomsmen had to take turns trying to fix it instead of enjoying the party. HUGE disappointment because we did a photo booth guest book so many many people were missed.... very sad about it still.

    Stay away do not purchase

    We were so excited to have this photo booth at our wedding. We bought props and glowsticks for everyone have fun with in the photos. The prints were supposed to be something for our friends and family to bring home to remember our special day. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Before the event we were able to get tablet connected to the internet and were able to get everything functioning properly. During the reception we experienced trouble with the tablet communicating with the printer. Every so often the devices had to be reset multiple times in order for the tablet to communicate with the printer. It felt like we were spending more time troubleshooting the devices more than we were able to use and enjoy it. I felt like it became a decoration at our wedding instead of a functioning photo booth. I strongly suggest this specific set be reviewed and tested for functionality before someone else is shipped this equipment. We ordered 100 prints and only 25 were used. We tried to resolve this issue directly with Booth By Mail and the blame was placed directly on us. They told us that we should have called their 1-800 number. The photo booth went down in the middle of a reception for the wedding when everyone is busy celebrating. They also placed user error on us, but we were able to make it work before the reception. How is it user error if we were able to make it work in the first place? They refused any refund and offered 15% off our next purchase, which was a slap in the face. Also, if you’re still considering using this photo booth, the picture quality is poor and you’ll have to purchase additional lighting. It was not a quality photo booth.

    We ordered this photo booth for our wedding and as instructed by the website, put the date of our wedding and was promised the photo booth 2 days before the event. We waited for the booth to be delivered on Thursday (wedding on Saturday), however had to leave town for wedding events and it was delivered late in the evening. We even had friends stay back at our place to wait for the booth to be delivered.

    We were unable to use the booth due to this and when asked for even a partial refund (as no supplies used), we were denied on numerous accounts. The "CEO" of the company explained to me that sometimes customers designate one day prior to their event in order to ensure the booth arrives on time - which is not suggested on the website at all. The team was very unwilling to even budge on any sort of refund.

    Our wedding had 99% of guests from out of town and we were very much looking forward to having more photos of them. Because of the delay, we most assuredly have fewer photos of our guests.

    Other things to consider when purchasing this service -
    -The cartridges print approximately 30 photos each - meaning someone will need to change frequently
    -The props are extremely minimal and cheap. You would definitely want to add more props
    -The photo paper is non-stick, so if you want your guests to stick a copy of the photos in your guestbook you will need to facilitate that yourself
    -Also, the 2 copies of photos print on a single sheet of photo paper, meaning guests would need to cut the sheets to separate the 2 copies.

    Overall strongly would not recommend.

    They took our money and did not have the paper I needed for photos

    If I could leave less stars- I would. I contacted this company and ordered a photo booth on June 19th. They stated they could absolutely have everything to me- I would just have to pay to rush the delivery. So, I paid the extra delivery fees for a rush order. I paid for all items, paid an additional fee for extra photo paper to accommodate the number of guests I was expecting and the rush delivery. I received a receipt via email and thought all was good. Until..... June 26th- I contacted the company to see when the item would be arriving. My party was on Saturday June 29th. I was expecting 100+ guests and they were well aware. They told me it would be arriving the next day June 27th. This was 2 days prior to my party- that is rush? Ok- so, Thursday came and went. I went to bed- as I left for work on Friday June 28th, the container was on my front stoop. So the item must've been delivered some time on Thursday night. Friday after work I opened the container. I checked the contents as they tell you to.. I was missing 100 of the photo papers. I have over 100 guests coming to this event. Inside the container there is a packing slip with what is in the container. The extra 100 photos I paid for was not on the packing slip. Immediately, I contacted the company. I spoke with Jasmin- she proceeded to tell me that is what I ordered. I said no it is not- I have my order in my email and I verified before I called! Also she told me to count my packs of paper. I did- there were 6 packs. She told me each pack had 36 papers in them. I said no they do not. I counted while I was on the phone- there were 18 in each pack. She then called me back after contacting her manager and apologized. I of course stated- the apology is not acceptable especially when I have so many guests coming and this is not enough paper to cover my guests. She apologized and said she understands- ummm that does not make up for what I paid for and the fact that I have items missing! After back and forth, they were going to ship me paper overnight. I expressed that paper will not be here in time for my guests. I want a full refund. They went ahead and shipped paper. It did not arrive in time. I had to hire another company to come with a photo booth. So after all of this, I contacted the company and was told I would not be getting a full refund! How the h$%^ am I not entitled to a full refund when I did not have what I paid for and also btw... had to hire another company! I will dispute this with my bank! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!! NOT AFTER THEY DID NOT FULFILL THEIR ORDER AND TRY TO KEEP MY MONEY! I RETURNED ALL ITEMS AND THE PAPER THEY SHIPPED LATE TO ME! HOW DARE YOU NOT RETURN FUNDS! I will make sure to use social media as well to let others know, if they mess your order up- they will try to keep your money. Instead of making the situation better for the customer. I did not half pay for items! You took the money directly from my account! How dare you steal money like this and not do the honorable thing! TERRIBLE BUSINESS! I will file with the business bureau as well.

    The printer stopped working at the reception and guests photos were no longer being printed. We saved the photos on to a jump drive after the wedding so we could print them out at a later date. We have tried to print them out using the paper provided at home and it does not work. I have contacted customer service in regards to the issue and they suggested that I take them to a nearby Walgreens or Target to then pay to have them printed, after I have paid for their service and no refund was issued. I thought this was going to be a great option for my wedding, but I am regretting it.
