We are a dance club comprised of mostly 55 to 75 year old people. Boom did a GREAT job of accommodating our music interests and getting the people on the dance floor.

Danny and Theresa were so easy to work with. The music was outstanding. The dance floor was always filled. I highly recommend them. The live music made all the difference.

We were thrilled with our experience with BOOM! From the flexibility of setting up our agenda for the night, beautiful cocktail hour music, and then dancing the night away with our guests....it was perfect! We recieved so many compliments from our guests!

Boom is the best band ever!! We have had Boom play at a few of our events and our whole family loves watching, listening and dancing to Boom's music. We will book Boom for our next event for sure!!!

Boom was one of the best decisions we made. The band was super professional, on-time, and knew what they were doing. They were great at MC-ing the wedding and helping everything go smoothly. Their musicianship was incredible; they really were able to feel the crowd and build the performance based off of the evening. Playing a huge variety of music, the singers were able to hit every note and sound like the original songs. We needed a bigger dance floor for our wedding because it was packed the entire time. No "liquid-courage" was needed to have everyone on the dance floor and having a great time. Overall, Boom is a very professional group who sounded incredible and did exactly what we were looking for at our reception! Thank you!!

So happy I booked BOOM for our wedding in April! Everyone had a great time and people are still talking about how fun the band was. They played all genres of music and accommodated my requests. Will definitely recommend to others!

In one word "Spectacular". They were incredible to work with and just a pleasure. And they sounded phenomenal. We had a full dance floor right from the get go. Also many guest complimented on how great they were. Would use them again in a heartbeat. We were very happy with them if you could not guess.

I hired BOOM for a Father Daughter dance at the end of January 2017. They were great to work with. Danny was quick to respond & very courtesy. The played a great variety of music & the guests enjoyed themselves. I look forward to working with them again!

Our family has had three wedding in the last 2 years and BOOM has played at all of our receptions. Ours was the most recent one and they did a great job! The dance floor was full during every song and many of our guests commented how great the band was! Danny DuMaine, the manager, was very nice and easy to work with. I called him 2 days before the wedding with a request to change our timeline and he was very flexible and made it work! I would definitely recommend BOOM to a friend!

BOOM played for our (Independence Center) annual gala Dancing with the St. Louis Stars at the Four Seasons and the guests loved them! Danny and his crew were wonderful to work with and they accommodated all of our requests prior to the event and that night. They had the guests dancing into the midnight hours and we look forward to working with BOOM again.

BOOM! Fantastic. They played every great song that we requested. Our guests had a wonderful time. The voices were perfect.

Boom was my best decision since agreeing to marry my husband!!! The energy they bring is amazing and really set the tone for a fun & fabulous night. Our dance floor was packed from beginning to end and they were even able to learn & play the summer's hottest song Blurred Lines on a whim!!! Greatest wedding band ever. Highly recommended!!!!

I was so impressed with BOOM at our wedding. We have a lot of people who love to dance all night, and this was the perfect band to keep the party going! The dance floor was packed the entire night. I told them prior to the wedding the type of music we would like to have played, and they were right on with their choices! People left raving about the band and asking for their name, etc. they were personable, fun, and made the night! I would totally trust them to make any wedding perfect if you communicate with them exactly what you want. I wish I could have another wedding reception and I would hire BOOM again in a heartbeat! Can't say enough good things about an amazing band!

BOOM (under the leadership of Danny DuMaine and his assistant Teresa) were phenomenal! A real pleasure to work with during the planning stages. They rocked the reception with their music. The absolute BEST dance party at a wedding reception ever. From the first song till the lights flipped on at the end, the dance floor was completely full with 20-somethings and 50-somethings rocking the night away. Highly recommend!!!!

This band has been working with my non-profit organization for 5 years. Boom is absolutely the best in the business. They really care to know what type of environment you want in your event, and they do everything they can to make it happen. I strongly urge anyone hosting a party to look to these guys.

I cannot say enough great things about Boom. They were FABULOUS. They had everyone on the dance floor the entire night which is exactly what I wanted. Our guests cannot stop talking about how much fun the band was at our wedding. They were great to work with, very quick to respond and so professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a very FUN and UPBEAT band.

My friends and family have been to many weddings and they said that this band, which played at both of my daughters weddings, is the BEST EVER!!!!!!! Everyone stayed to the very end of the reception and danced all night.

BOOM was fantastic! They were very on top of things during the planning process, and they did an excellent job MC'ing our festivities for the evening. From the first song to the last song, our dance floor was packed the entire night. When the band announced their last song, there seemed to be a collective sigh from our guests because they were having such a great time dancing and enjoying the music. We are still getting compliments for throwing a great reception and BOOM was a big part of that. I would absolutely recommend BOOM to anyone looking for a live band for an event.

Boom was ABSOLUTELY awesome. We hired them for our wedding reception May 27, 2017. We had just over 300 guests and a 5 hour reception, and from the second the music started until the the very very end of the night we had a packed dance floor. I requested they do no "line dances" like the electric slide or cha cha slide and they respected or wishes. We paid for the full band (with horns) and it was so worth it. I wouldn't change a thing. We also asked for a mix of old and new songs and they did a great job feeling out the crowd and keeping everyone dancing. The full band played for 4 hours and during dinner we paid for them to play the piano and I think it added such a classy touch that people really enjoyed. Thank you BOOM! The night was perfect. So many of our guests have asked for your information, they all had a blast too and said our reception was the best they've ever been to thanks to you guys!!

Wonderful!!

I asked them to play two specific songs that weren't on their list and they said no problem at all!! I have to admit-one of the songs was a cult hit but from New Zealand where my husband is from and they knew the music but had a hard time with the words so that was dissapointing BUT it just allowed me and a friend to sing instead so it turned out well :)

They played at a perfect volume and had wonderful energy the whole time! I sent them a list of songs I didn't want played and they honored that list :) I was happy :)

As the groom, I was given one main project: to find the band. I did much research and talked to several band leaders and was most impressed by Danny, leader and keyboardist for BOOM. We met in person and I had a long list of questions and requests; he was very accommodating to every one of them. He had no problems playing the songs we wanted BOOM to play; most of all, he said OK to my request to sit in on drums with the band for a few songs.

On the day of the wedding, not once did I have to worry about BOOM not fulfilling our contract and agreements down to the letter. Danny was friendly and professional; we got him to play piano music during our cocktail hour as well as the full band during the reception. Once the band started to play, the dance floor was full all night and we received several compliments on the band. Most fun of all, I did get to play on drums with the band and got a few high fives from Danny's bandmates.

I would highly recommend BOOM to anyone planning a wedding in the St. Louis area who wants a high-energy dance band. The value for the money is great, and so is the service and performance. Kudos to BOOM.

BOOM came recommended from a friend who had hired them for her own wedding, and we didn't regret the choice. Live music really adds something to a wedding. BOOM provided us with a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and a seven-piece band (including male and female vocalist) for the reception. They also served as emcees for the evening. They kept the energy going all evening, and played just the right songs for the different parts of the evening (cocktail hour, dinner, reception). I would highly recommend them!

BOOM was awesome! We received nothing but compliments after our wedding how lively and fun the music was. My only complaint is that the band didn't stick to our requests 100% percent (Party in the USA by Miley was NOT on the list) but I would still highly recommend their services

Overall, Boom! were a fantastic wedding band. They kept music going the entire night. A lot of guests were asking who they were and wanted their information to book them as well! Affordable and professional. I highly recommend.

I have very mixed feelings about Boom. We had the guitarist play at our ceremony and the band at our wedding. Danny (head guy) was not all that responsive, and I found it odd that Danny wouldn't give me any information (e.g. phone number) about the guitarist for our ceremony except his first name. The guitarist showed up 10 or so minutes before the ceremony, which was pushing it. When our friend who was also playing a song had trouble with his amp during the ceremony, the Boom guitarist just stared blankly at our friend and didn't even offer to help. Some guests even noticed the weirdness and asked afterwards what the deal with the guitarist was. At the reception, the sound and quality of the music were OUTSTANDING. They are clearly a very musically talented band, and every single song was on pitch and played and sung extremely well. And they are a major value, as we paid 1/3 of what most bands out there cost. But they gave off an air of "we don't want to be here, don't bother us." And here's the kicker: I spoke with Danny a number of times pre-wedding to make clear we wanted them to play ONLY from the list of songs we gave them (which we selected from the band's list of songs online). Danny had hesitations but ultimately said ok and that they would honor our request. At the reception, they did anything but. The band deviated from our list again and again and again, despite repeated requests by my gutsy bridesmaid during the reception to "only play what is on the list." At one point, a band member apparently told my bridesmaid, "oh, the bride ok'd it." I most definitely did not. I'd say a full 1/3 of the songs they played were not on our list. I finally gave up and became resigned to listening to "Journey," etc. For those hands-off couples out there who want to hire a (very high) quality-sounding band to play whatever the band wants, this is the band for you. If you want more input on what songs are played/not played, skip Boom.

On May 5, 2016 I sent Boom this email and have not heard a response since doing so. Wedding 4/16/16 If you are a highly detailed and organized bride or groom, I would pass to find a band that has more time to work with you on your details. If you are a bride or groom that is more go with the flow and not as concerned about the day of details, the band sounds great. After sending this email, I did also recall one other disappointment in the bands offerings. They claimed that they would learn approximately 5 or less songs if needed. We asked for them to learn 2 songs, one for our first dance in which they did play. The other I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, the band simply pressed play on an iPod the night of for this song. We would have been ok with them not learning this if they would have told us a head of time. They did not follow our play/do-not play list that was provided to them on two separate emails in a timely manner. Songs on the do-not play were played and others that were MUST PLAYS were not played at all or played late in the night. We only had approximately 5 do not plays and 5-8 MUST PLAYS. My husband and I were disappointed in the fact that no one was playing the piano during our dinner hour from 6-7pm. This "free" piano hour was included in our initial contract and also denoted in the details I emailed on March 8th. Secondly, we were also disappointed in the fact that 'Parent Dance' was announced prior to [my husband] and I giving our speech. I also denoted that this dance was a surprise for our parents and that we would be giving a speech prior to them dancing. Having 'Parent Dance' announced took some of the "shock and ah" value out of our surprise. My husband made special requests throughout the night as well as my mom making special requests. I am aware that not all requests can be honored throughout the night by each person, however we already felt that our song list was not being honored in addition to disregard of requests.
