April did an amazing job for our wedding. The cake was not only beautiful, but it was moist and delicious. All of my guests were raving about it days later. We also had mini cheesecakes, cake pops, and macarons and they were all equally as delicious. -

Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious and gorgeous! Everyone raved how amazing the cake was. We had two different flavors: Lemon Blueberry/ and PB &J and they were phenomenal! Our guest also loved the appetizers specifically the buffalo meatballs., They loved the green beans and the tenderloin. -

Not a Crumb Left
We were really hoping to eat more of this cake after the cake cutting but when we turned around (it really seemed that fast) IT WAS ALL GONE!!
Taste was decadent; Moust texture; Design exceeded our expectations.

50th Anniversary Vow Renewal
This was the best experience ever! Could not have dreamed of a more beautiful cake, not to mention hands down Delicious! We were down for parents 50th Anniversary vow renewal and it was awesome! Ms April was phenomenal! Her attention to detail and knowledge of her craft were second to none! She helped me through this process and honestly, I had no idea what I was doing (but she made me look good). I would definitely recommend her service and if I am every in the area again in need of a specialty desert; I believe I have already found the best! I was looking for a custom cake & matching cupcakes for a a Christmas Eve event. After a month of frustration, and no baker or bakery returning my calls; April responded quickly & was so eager to help. She simply said "send me the pictures of what you're looking for & I can make it happen."
After driving into Seagrove from Houston 9 1/2 hours, I didn't have to worry about driving out to Destin to pick up my custom order. April personally drove them out to me at our condo.
When she brought them inside and opened the boxes, I was blown away. The cake was absolute art and the matching cupcakes adorable! I was beyond pleased.
They brought my friend to tears that evening when we surprised her. The strawberry cake and buttercream icing were divine!
April is my absolute go to girl from now on whenever I need custom treats! The price was reasonable based on the product she delivered. No complaints whatsoever.
Please consider her for your custom cake & cupcake needs. -

April was amazing! We gave her a couple of inspiration pictures and she created the most beautiful cakes and mini desserts! We met with her for a tasting and she was very personable and listened to what we wanted. We decided to order a groom’s cake and six various desserts in addition to our wedding cake. She gave us recommendations on how much we would need with our guest count. She was also able to rent out the perfect cake and dessert displays. Everything was a hit- especially the salted caramel groom’s cake! Thank you April! -

Last minute wedding plans
My son and his fiance' let me know a month before our summer vacation to Destin that they just wanted to get married on the beach while we were there. I called April and told her what I was looking for. Without any taste testing and face to face conversations, she took my order over the phone and I blindly left everything up to her. Both the wedding cake and the groom's cake were delivered on time and were extremely beautiful! The taste was out of this world and more than I could have dreamed of!!! Everyone was so impressed with those cakes. I would recommend April and Bonne Vie to anyone looking for the absolute best!! Thank you so much for saving the day April!!! If you are getting married in the panhandle, April is your go-to dessert queen!
She has so easy to worth with and so creative. She helped us create an array of delicious desserts. She including some greenery and flowers in her display.
We received endless comments from our guests re: how delicious the desserts were and how beautiful the setup was.
And her prices are extremely reasonable.

There isn't too much sugar in her cake. She ordered miniatures for us and made a beautiful beach themed two-tiers cake. She worked with the caterer and our coordinator to deliver the cake at the reception. It was perfect! -

Veronica Sent on 07/24/2018April was happy to create something unique and seemed really eager to please. She even shipped samples to us.
Unfortunately, half way through planning she went silent. She wouldn’t respond for two weeks sometimes, but we had paid in full. She always had an excuse, but it was seriously anxiety inducing not knowing what was going on.
Her overall result was beautiful and delicious though! In the end she set up and presented a beautiful cake. Keep in mind though, when she estimates servings, they are very small. We even ordered up a size and STILL had zero left overs. -

I sent her a picture and asked if she could do it. She said yes. The surf boards looked like a piece of crooked fondant, no details and looked nothing like a surf boards and especially the pic I sent. To top it off she used a black food marker to write on it. So cheap looking and not professional! I text her 4 times about this.... SILENCE... 0 STARS!!!! $205 for an 8” one tier with topper that looked nothing like the surf boards in the pic... -
