We are so glad we hired Michael! Our photos are gorgeous! He did a great job of capturing all of the important memories from the small candid moments to the posed family and wedding party photos. He put us all at ease and made us feel comfortable through the millions of shots and he worked well with the little flower girls. It was all we could have asked for and more. It was so reassuring to know Michael was there to document everything so we can remember every bit in years to come. He captured us laughing and dancing and took some elegant shots from before the ceremony. We would highly recommend Michael to anybody! -

Michael is wonderful! He is a very talented photographer, very amiably and professional. We hd a very limited scoop in what we wanted - just 2 hours, no formal group photos- and he was very flexible I working with us. We had a great experience with him and love our photos. I highly recommend him! -

Michael is a talented photographer who was super easy to work with. We hired him to take photos of our son’s Bar Mitzvah. To save money we split the time with another family whose daughter was getting Bat Mitzvah’d the same morning. This meant more work for Michael as he would be managing 2 different families. Not only did Michael agree to take on the challenge, but he was also a real delight to interact with. And most importantly, we all got fantastic photographs to commemorate this important day!Bonfigli Photography's reply:

Michael is the most personable, energetic, and talented photographer! From the moment my husband and I met with him we hit it off and knew he was the man we wanted to book for our special day. His photographs are unbelievably beautiful and completely captured our wedding in an intimate way. When we look at our photographs we get to relive that joyous day. He captured real, intimate, genuine moments and those photos are priceless. My husband Patrick and I not only found a phenomenal photographer but also a friend in Michael.

Michael was simply amazing. He arrived early to photograph a 50th birthday party. He was so professional and really took a photojournalism approach to capturing moments of the part all night long. We had arranged for him to attend for about three hours, but he stayed the whole night. He captured the 'story' of our event beginning to end. I highly recommend him. We had previously had Michael photograph our wedding and he was amazing for that as well.Bonfigli Photography's reply:

Michael was amazing. He photographed my proposal which had several moving parts and obviously was a little high stakes for me, haha. He was able to get some incredible high quality shots while being completely low key without my wife even noticing he was there. Michael Bonfigli shooting our wedding was simply amazing. He made the photographic memories of our day as beautiful as they were to experience first hand. I felt like the luckiest bride in the world when we had been looking for weddding photographers and found Michael Bonfigli!!! I looked at his work online and fell in love with his ability to capture the emotion in such an important day!
We met with him and it was a perfect fit for us! He was friendly,
Extremely kind and amazingly flexible! (I ended up having 2 ceremonies and he graciously agreed to do both!) We received our pics and love them! We were so lucky to find Michael for our wedding. The most important thing I wanted captured were photos of dying mother with myself and our family and friends. Michael captured some of the most beautiful and lasting memories that I hold so dearly as she died shortly after my husband and I got married and our wedding day was her "last best day". Not only were the images personal and special, but he captured the feelings and joy of our wedding day and he was so easy to work with, especially in the time frame we needed him, and we couldn't have been happier!Bonfigli Photography's reply:

Michael was excellent to work with. Before the wedding, he was super responsive, easy to talk to, answered all our questions, and had a great portfolio. At the wedding he was prompt, courteous, friendly, and was able to work with us well to get all the pics we had in mind. He also had great on-the-spot ideas to take advantage of the light and surroundings. He was able to handle a huge group shot with my family and my wife's family well. The photos were up on the web quickly after the wedding. We were blown away by the photos he took and are completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend Michael. -

Michael Bonfigli is a photo journalist. He told the story of our daughter's wedding in beautiful detail catching the emotions and the energy photographically. From getting ready to the "reveal" to the pre-wedding photos , the ceremony, and the reception--all chronicled exquisitely.
Remarkably, no one noticed the photographer! Yet he was omnipresent.
His organization and presentation of the photo galleries was excellent.
We give him our highest recommendation. He is the best!!!

Our pictures are amazing and we got to see them so quickly. I knew we made the right choice when we selected Michael, but I could not be more pleased with how everything worked out and how wonderful every single picture looks. He captured the day perfectly!
Michael, and his second shooter, Amanda, arrived right on time and were shooting pictures within seconds of arriving! They did a great job focusing on all the details and pre-ceremony pictures. They were unobtrusive during the ceremony, but seemed to have every shot we would have wanted.
After the ceremony, we headed downtown for some great pictures at the monuments. They were great providing direction, but not too much that they came across bossy, but just enough that we knew what to do. We even went to where my husband and I met playing kickball. We have some great shots with my dress hiked up to my knees playing kickball in heels!
Once at the reception, we got the required family shots and other great location shots of the bridal party along with pictures of me with my groom. I knew the party would go fast, but I had no idea how fast. Thank goodness Michael and Amanda were there because I have tons of pictures reminding me of the party, they seemed to have got a picture of almost every single one of our guests. If you ask Michael and Amanda I think they had a great time too ☺ I can’t wait for our albums…which we should get within 3 months.
Engagement pictures were also a great dry run to know what to expect when shooting with Michael on our wedding day.

I searched through hundreds of photographer websites until I ran upon Michael. I immediately loved his work and made an appointment with him. I decided to hire at our first meeting and he did a great job on our wedding photos! Him and his assistant, Amanda, were right on time on our wedding day and were both a pleasure to work with. They were not obtrusive at all and we barely noticed they were there most of the time! Because of timing we didn't get in all the photos I had planned, but what he came up with anyways was great! We would definitely recommend Michael to any brides looking for great photos! -

Michael was our photographer for our August wedding and we just saw our proofs. He did a wonderful job in capturing the day - the emotions, the details and the joy of everyone. He did a great job in making everything and everyone look beautiful. He was very unobtrusive and was able to take great candid shots.
I would recommend his services for couples who are looking for a photo journalistic and beautiful wedding pictures. He is very professional and provides great direction so the pictures turn out beautifully. -

My husband and I got married in Annapolis, MD on October 10th of 2009 and I have nothing but the highest praise for Michael!! As a photographer, he is amazingly able to be everywhere at the right time to capture all the most important and touching moments of your wedding. He has such a great eye that every picture is truly a work of art, and with his photo journalist style you feel like you are reliving your wedding day as you view the hundreds and hundreds of beautiul photos that he took. He is able to fade into the background and really makes you feel at ease! As a person, Michael is just a really great, genuine guy who you want to have around you. He is communicative, flexible, and prompt. I would HIGHLY recommend him!! -

Michael Bonfigli and his assistant, Amanda, gave my husband and I the best wedding gift possible- perfectly captured memories to be enjoyed for years to come. Looking through Michael's photos was to relive our wedding day in immense detail. We were amazed that his photos evoked memories we had forgotten and allowed us to enjoy parts of the day that one or the other of us may have missed (time while we were getting ready, our guests at the cocktail hour, etc.). Michael had an innate sense for capturing timeless moments and his photos are incredible works of art.
Michael was professional yet comfortable to work with. His pictures attest to the fact that he was there for every moment of our day, yet we barely noticed his presence during the ceremony and reception. Michael is very kind and truly wants the couple to be happy with his work. We will never be able to thank Michael enough for capturing our day so perfectly, and would recommend him to any future brides and grooms. -

Michael was, in a word, fantastic. Choosing a photogrpaher from across the coast (DC wedding, but we're based in Seattle), was no easy feat, but his online portfolio was exactly our style. He was from the beginning very courteous and flexible: adjusting his packages to better suit our needs and budget, and more than willing to meet with my mother in person so she could get a feel for things. We were scooted off to have the group portraits taken, in a variety of poses and arrangements - it was all over quickly and painlessly as he knows exactly what he's doing. During the reception, he was almost invisible, and yet when we went over the photos after they were posted online, he somehow managed to get everyone in all the various shenanigans I thought only existed in my memory! We now have a wonderful collection of photographs that run the gamut from elegant to artistic to documentary - action shots, quiet moments, etc. I would reccomend him without hesitation. -

This was, hands- down, the best money we spent on our wedding. Michael Bonfligli captured all the important moments of our wedding with exceptional artistry and grace. Not every photographer has such an exquisite eye, nor this unique ability to portray poignancy without being cheesy. If that isn't enough, Michael is charming and professional, and can draw even shy people out and make the experience of being photographed special and enjoyable. This photographer gets five stars from me, and my highest recommendation. -

Michael was a master at catching the moment of the day. We specifically did not want a lot of posed pictures with the exception of those the family required after the ceremony. Michael captured all the events unobtrusively and magically. I would highly recommend him. I would have liked to see a few pictures of my "details" but overall I was extremely pleased with the pictures. -
