Could not have been happier!

Having our hair done at the house and not having to drive in an unfamiliar area was so worth it! All the hair came out amazing and my now husband absolutely loved my makeup and the way they did it. Being from out of town I had to just pick someone and hope it turned out ok, it turned out perfect! So happy with how it all turned out! Would highly recommend them!!

Most relaxed I had been on my wedding day!!

Amber and Sandra were amazing! Amber answered all of my questions and concerns well before the day of my event. I was very nervous about my hair and makeup since I live in Rhode Island and couldn’t do a trial. I showed them pictures the day of and they matched them perfectly. All of my girls looked amazing and were so happy about how their hair turned out! My hair and makeup turned out amazing and I have never felt so beautiful in my life. Amber and Sandra were so calming to be around and it was so nice to have them do everything right at my venue. Thank you guys for making me feel like a doll and a princess all in one!

Amber and Sandra are true ROCK STARS!!! Most of my correspondence was done with Amber directly and she was super easy to work with. She was responsive, efficient and patient, as I made several changes to my requirements throughout the planning process. I live out of state and had a very small window of time that I would be in OBX doing some pre-planning – I reached out to Amber & Sandra to see if they could squeeze me in for a trial and they happily accommodated me. I was very specific on date/time (as I was also having engagement photos taken) and they were extremely flexible and easy to work with! The day of the wedding went off without a hitch!! They arrived on time and took AMAZING care of me and my bridesmaids (as well as my mom & MIL). I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day! They are extremely talented and truly listen. I have been in enough weddings to know this isn’t always the case with stylists – Amber and Sandra are true professionals! I would highly recommend Bombshell Studios to anyone getting married in OBX – trust me, you will not be disappointed – these ladies are fabulous!!

Amber and Bombshell's Studio are the best!! I had Amber come out to our house to do my hair, my bridesmaids hair and my makeup for the big day. We showed her pictures and she exceeded the picture and our expectations. She know her craft well that is for sure!!! My makeup was on point and my husband does not like when I wear makeup and he complemented how beautifully done my makeup was and how it was not over done but just perfect for me. The price for the value can not be beat else where!! THANK YOU AMBER, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

Bombshell's was wonderful! Amber didn't stop until I was happy with my hair style. They are very accommodating and very skilled in what they do. They made me feel like such a beautiful bride! It was so nice being able to have them come to the house on our wedding day to do hair and makeup.

Amber and Sandra were fantastic to work with. Our wedding was in the 4x4 area and it was a huge relief to have the salon come to us! My bridesmaids and I loved how our hair and makeup turned out and it lasted all afternoon and all evening. I highly recommend them!

My wife and I booked Bombshell's to do hair and makeup for our wedding and we are so glad we did! Amber and her team are super talented, fun and easy to work with. All of our girls loved their hair and makeup including my mother who is pretty hard to please! I had a minor mishap with a flower piece that I ordered from another vendorthat did not get delivered and Amber jumped right in, had some of my girls pull flowers from the florist that was onsite and she made it work! She really does an amazing job! Leading up to the wedding, we did hair and makeup trials, and she was very responsive and helpful when deciding on hairstyles! It was an absolute pleasure to have her and her team with us on our wedding day! Thank you guys so much!!!

Bombshell traveled to us on our Wedding day to complete 9 hair and 6 makeup for the ladies! The brides who don't usually wear makeup looked gorgeous... Bombshell added subtle but on point makeup to us. Our hair was exactly what we envisioned and held up all day and night even with the beach wind. All of the hair and makeup stylists were a pleasure to work with and made us feel comfortable through the entire process.

Amber and Sandra were AMAZING!!!! I never looked so good. Between the sun, sweat & dancing, my makeup and lashes lasted until the next morning!!!! They made my bridesmaids (who are very natural) look unrecognizable in the most glamorous way! Okay, they looked hot!!! Both of them were so professional, personable & really were there to make us feel pampered and beautiful! I highly recommend them and love the fact that they are a travel studio. Amber was great throughout the whole process. She was quick to answer any of my questions, and even helped me narrow down my hair piece. Amber and her makeup artist, Megan were amazing to work with on the day of! I used them for my wedding on 5/26/17 in Kitty Hawk, NC. They came to our rental house and did all of my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. My bridesmaids were thrilled with the results. Several of them, who have been in multiple weddings, said this was the best hair and makeup they have ever had! Thank you thank you thank you!

I used Bombshell's Studio for my wedding on May 5th in Corolla NC, and they were absolutely fabulous!!! All of the girls were thrilled with their hair and makeup. Amber did such an amazing job with my hair (I have baby fine hair so I was skeptical if anyone would be able to create my vision but she did not disappoint!). A storm had just moved through with rain/winds lasting the entire day but the rains cleared up just in time for the ceremony. The wind stuck around but my hair held beautifully during the ceremony/pictures outside. I was thrilled with my makeup as well, Sandra killed it!
They were both super sweet and very responsive during the whole process leading up to the wedding. I would recommend them 100%!

The Bombshell team provided amazing service on my wedding day. My bridesmaids, my mother, mother-in-law, and myself looked stunning. The hair and make-up team arrived right on time and were a pleasure to work with. They were professional, personable and loads of fun. As I begin to look through photos I am in awe of how flawless my ladies looked. And their hair and make-up services last, which I can't say for some other services I have used. The team arrived at 8am for a 4pm beach wedding and all of our makeup and hair stayed perfect and intact the entire time. In fact, some of us went to bed all done up and even after being on the beach and partying all night, woke up the next morning looking fabulous. If you are looking for a qualified hair and makeup team look no further, I highly recommend Bombshell, And I promise you will not be disappointed.

Bombshells Studio did such a beautiful job with hair and makeup for my girls on 9/13/2016. We had a large group so it made the most sense for them to come to us. The team was so accommodating for myself, my six bridesmaids, two flower girls, and the mothers. Everyone's hair turned out just how we wanted and the hair and makeup really held up (even through the intense dance party at the reception!).

Amber and Sandra were great. They seem to be really popular in OBX since there are not very many traveling hair and makeup artists so be sure to book them well in advance. There is a 5 girl minimum but any combination of hair/makeup will get you to that number minimum. I loved the way my hair and makeup looked and was so glad I had it professionally done. Amber was able to style my hair in a way that I had never thought to style it before and it was perfect for a casual beach wedding. My hair and makeup stayed looking nice through the whole wedding, even during the pictures taken on the beach when it was super windy. Both my hair and makeup still looked great by the end of the night. It is also so worth it to have someone come and do your hair and makeup; it makes for a really fun day and takes all of the stress of running late/getting stuck in traffic/messing up your makeup at the last minute.

Planning a wedding from a distance with no hair and make-up trial run is a bit stressful, but I was beyond impressed with Bombshell's Studio, and a thank you hardly seems adequate to express my gratitude for making me and my bridal party feel and look stunning on the day of my wedding. Shannon and Megan arrived early, were friendly and personable, executed ahead of schedule and both are artists at what they do – each girl’s hair and make-up uniquely perfect for them. Megan, I rocked those fake eye lashes all night and LOVED them! I used Bombshell Studios for my wedding at the Sanderling Resort in Duck, NC. We had 7 people for hair (including two moms and the bride) and we had 4 people that had makeup done. My bridesmaids and the moms looked awesome! The girls came to our room and setup and went to work. They are extremely professional and cool, calm and collected on what can be a very busy day! They did a great job on my hair and makeup and it looked even better than when we did the trial session a few months earlier. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting marred in the OBX!!

I hired Amber and her team to come to our event home in Corolla, NC. I had four bridesmaids, and three moms that needed their hair and make-up done. I only had my hair done. They were AMAZING! All of the ladies looked great, everyone was so happy with how everything turned out. I danced my butt off and my hair stayed in place for the whole event. Amber and her team were fantastic. I had 8 people who needed their hair done and 4 people who needed makeup - so it was not a small job. They came out to our rental house at 8am and took their time with each of us, making sure they knew exactly what we wanted. They were also flexible; we added and changed a couple of things during the process (one extra person just wanted eye makeup done, one person wanted to just have their hair blown out instead of an updo). They were friendly but professional. And most importantly everyone looked beautiful and knew it!

I booked Bombshell's Studio for hair and makeup for my wedding in September. Since it was a destination wedding, I booked Bombshell's solely on reviews and their pictures. I'm so glad I chose them. Megan & Sandra were amazing! My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect for my wedding day and I wouldn't have changed a thing about either of them. My face looked flawless and my hair didn't move once even with the wind on the beach! They were so nice and very accommodating. They put up with me (the bride) during the most stressful part of the day. The only minor thing was the timing. I wish we would have started a bit earlier since we were pushing it on time near the end. Other than that, their work is amazing and I highly recommend booking Bombshell's!

Alicia at Bombshell's Studio was amazing!!! She was efficient in getting through 7 girls + myself in a timely manner in order to keep us on schedule. She was so personable and fit in with my bridesmaids and I so well, I wished she could have attended our ceremony/reception because she was so fun! Amber, Sandra, and Megan provided hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding on 10/02/2014. What a pleasurable experience it was! They listened to each person and the hair and makeup were done perfectly.
Having them come to the house the morning of the wedding was such a help, as no one had to travel and each person was given attention in the most professional manor.
The make-up applications were so nice.....everyone looked beautiful and not overly made up....just the way we wanted to look for this special day.

I used Bombshell Studio for my August 22nd wedding. Sandra & Megan were both on time and extremely professional. I had Amber and Sandy do my hair for my wedding on June 12, 2014. I cannot say enough great things about them and their services. Amber had great communication with me. She e-mailed me promptly, was very up front and honest and helped me plan a "day-of" wedding itinerary. She took an interest in my pinterest to make sure my hair and make-up looked great.

Despite what the other person said in her review Amber and the bombshell's team is great. I suffer from extreme anxiety and the forecast was not pretty throughout the day. Amber kept me calm.. reassured me it was beach weather and it would clear up and be terrific. The whole day was so stress-free because of such a wonderful team. I would definitely recommend them.

We had such a fantastic experience with Alicia from Bombshells! She styled hair for myself, my three bridesmaids, and my mother, as well as make up for me. My bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done by Amber and Sandra from Bombshell's for my September wedding in Buxton, and they did a fantastic job! It was so much easier having them come to us than worrying about driving to and from a salon, especially given the location of our wedding. Amber and I had communicated several times about what I had in mind for my hair, and I sent her several pictures of what I wanted. She pulled it off perfectly! I got so many compliments about my hair and makeup, and it stayed perfectly in place through the blowing wind and rain that we stood out in to take pictures that day. Bombshell's did the hair and makeup for myself, my partner, and four of our bridesmaids for our Nov. 2nd wedding in the OBX. Everyone looked fantastic. They were a lot of fun to work with and their prices were quite reasonable. The makeup was flawless and I was so impressed that Amber was able to do exactly what everyone wanted with their hair. We had so many different hair types and lengths, but everyone looked beautiful and was very happy. My partner has thick, wavy, shorter hair and contemplated not even having her hair done because she didn't think anyone could do anything with it. Amber assured us she was very creative with hair, and it was absolutely true. We both looked gorgeous and got a ton of compliments. I highly recommend Bombshell's Studio.

Amber and team did a fantastic job on my hair and make-up for my wedding day. They came to the house we rented for the wedding and did 10 people's hair including my own and 5 people's make-up including my own. After I went for the trial with Amber a few months prior to the wedding, I knew it was a perfect fit. She recreated the picture I found perfectly (half up waterfall braid) and I couldn't have been happier. The day of the wedding my hair looked great and I was also so happy with my make-up. I got so many compliments from friends and family, as well as people who just saw my pictures! They were friendly, organized, and everything was on time. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend Bombshell's!

We had Jen and Alicia do the hair and make up for myself, my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and the groom's mother. It was like we had two of our closest friends hanging out with us and doing our hair and make up. Everyone was so relaxed and everyone looked phenomenal!!!! Worth every single penny that we spent. It was also easy to communicate with Amber via email whenever I needed her up until our big day! The prices weren't any more expensive than going to a local salon and we got to have everything done in the comfort of the beach house!

Bombshells was AMAZING!!! They did such a wonderful job making all of us look so beautiful. As the bride I was stressed over everything but the ladies of Bombshells were very responsive to all my emails, they showed up on time and were just so sweet. They made me look amazing on one of the most important days in my life and I can't thank them enough. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone!

Amber and her makeup assistant did a fantastic job for my wedding day! They did makeup for me and both moms, and hair for me, both moms, and 5 bridesmaids between 9am and 2pm, and arrived at 8:30 to set up. I had a hair/makeup trial with Amber in July, and she did a wonderful job, but I decided I didn't like the style I chose on myself. Via email and sharing Pinterest pictures, I decided on a new style, which she executed flawlessly on the wedding day. I was slightly worried since I had changed my mind post-trial, but there was nothing to worry about. My mom and now mother in law looked absolutely beautiful, and they felt so happy with the results. I would highly recommend Amber--she is so sweet and does a great job.

I cannot say enough about my experience with Bombshells. These girls are great and work wonders when it comes to hair & make-up. Since I live 6+ hours away, I did not do a trial. I brought a few pictures for ideas and explained what I liked and didn’t like. They really listened and everything was absolutely perfect. I felt so beautiful! They went above and beyond by even helping with advice to get me through deciding on a last minute rain-plan. They were awesome. They did a total of 5 ladies for hair and make-up and each of us was so happy with how everything turned out. We all received compliments throughout the night and everything lasted through dancing!
It was such a relaxing afternoon of getting ready since they came to the hotel. It was nice to be able to sit around and chat and not have to worry about running to and from a salon. I would recommend these ladies over and over again – they are fun to spend time with and they are so talented!

My experience with Bombshells was great! Amber did my hair and I had my makeup done as well. I traveled to her trial studio because it was only myself getting my hair/makeup done that day. I did not do a trial and everything turned out great. I used a picture from pinterest for my hair and she duplicated it quite well. My hair and makeup looked great throughout the entire day!

Amber and her makeup assistant did an amazing makeover for my bridesmaid and myself. Everyone at the wedding commented that I was so beautiful and glowing which made me feel so exeptionally good as I walked down that aisle with confidence. I also can't express my gratitude for their help in getting me into my dress!! I have marvelous photos and cherish memories because they made it possible for me to look gorgeous for my wedding day!!

Having Amber and her team come to our beach house to do hair and makeup was one of the best decisions I made. It was great to be able to relax at the house and not have to worry about OBX weekend traffic while we were getting "beautified". Amber and team arrived and ended on time, were super friendly, and are great at hair and makeup. We were all very pleased with how our hair and makeup turned out!

Amber was great! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day. She was so helpful, too. Since I was getting married in NC but had never been there, she offered suggestions of great local places to visit and eat. That helped make the trip the best it could be! Thanks for everything, Amber!

Amber and Sandra were both fun and professional and created make-up and hair styles exactly how we envisioned. They were able to capture our personalities for the special day. Jen & Alicia did the hair and makeup for my entire wedding party and we loved the final results. The convenience of having them come to your location is worth the money, especially since it's about the same price as going to a salon. Jen & Alicia were very friendly and just fit right in with the rest of the ladies. Everyone looked fantastic!! :)

Amazing talent!! Our wedding was a destination wedding, so I was a little worried about having my hair and makeup done by someone I did not know. I was able to set up a trial for my hair when we had to go down and get our marriage license and was COMPLETELY excited by the way my hair had turned out (and the fact that Amber was awesome). That settled my nervousness some. But, I do not wear a ton of makeup, and the one request of my husband was that I "Look like yourself." I was so nervous that I would be "overdone" with makeup. I sent some ideas of what I would like and emailed my thoughts. Let me tell you...they could work in Hollywood! My makeup and hair were absolutely perfect!!! I could not have even imagined how well it turned out. Thanks girls, you made me feel like I was the most beautiful bride in the world!!

Amber was great, she came to me, showed up on time. I had a road block on my hair, the picture i had in mind wasn't able to be done but she did what she could and it turned out great. And i felt like "me" and im not usually happy when i get me hair done for weddings but with her i couldn't complain. And my sisters hair was awesome as well.

Sandra from the Bombshell team was Incredible! It took about 3.5- 4 hours for Sandra to do bridal make- up for 8 women. We all LOVED our make- up which is rare to find. The one thing I would say Is I never really got to speak to anyone so I was a little nervous about them actually coming on the day of. We had a few email conversations but I never felt it was really personal so I did't know what to expect.

Excellent job with hair and make-up for my large bridal party (7 bridesmaids). Amber and her team did a great job, and I really enjoyed having them come to our location instead of having to travel to a salon. It made it a lot less stressful the day of. The team was very accomodating to the girls and really made sure I liked my hair and make-up before wrapping things up.

Communication in the weeks prior to my wedding was very difficult. Amber did not respond to emails and her voicemail box was full. It turned out she was in the middle of a move, but it would have been good to know that in advance.

Bombshell's did such beautiful work for my wedding. There were six of us who got our hair done, and everyone was very pleased with their work. I also got my makeup done, and she did a beautiful job.

I was upset though, because I had specifically made arrangements with them to be finishing me at the time that my photographer was arriving because I really wanted to have some "getting ready" pictures taken. Instead, they finished 2 hours early and quickly left. When I asked if they'd still be there when the photographer arrived, the answer I got was a rushed "nope!," and that was all that was said.

To begin- the only reason Bombshell's didn't get a complete 5 stars was because of a mix-up the day of the wedding and a little lapse in communication the week prior. I'll get this out of the way as I have many great things to say, I just want to be honest so that other brides are aware as I'm sure what happened would bother some more than others. A week prior to the wedding I reached out to all my vendors to confirm everything, this included Bombshells. I also requested a day-of schedule so I could let my bridesmaids and mothers know what time to be ready for their hair and make-up. I never heard back ( and actually tried to call but got a full voicemail), but figured we could just figure it out at the beginning of the day as most of the girls were staying at the house we were getting ready at anyways. The team was scheduled to get to the house at 7am. At 7:30am no one had arrived so I called the number again and got no answer with a full voicemail. Finally, close to 8am I got a phone call that the team had been told to go to the venue instead but realized their mistake and were heading to the house, I was also notified that the two people I had my trial hair and make-up with were not coming and I would be getting a completely different duo team, even though the contract had the other name(s) on it. A little scary going blind, but I knew the reputation of Bombshells to be good so we went with it. HAVING SAID ALL OF THAT, We ended up having two wonderful artists/stylists and everyone looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! For the most part hair and make-up lasted throughout the night with a few curls falling out prior to the 4:30pm ceremony, but honestly its to be expected on a windy beach :)

We booked Bombshells to do the makeup only for my daughter's wedding. They knew up front that we were using a hair stylist team led by a good friend of the bride who also does her hair throughout the year. They did an amazing job on makeup and I have no complaints about their work. What did bother me is that the owner (who was one of our makeup artists) texted our wedding planner shortly after leaving the house telling her there was a $160 balance on our account that we needed to pay, with no explanation on what that balance was for. I could not imagine what it would be, as we had paid her in full, months before the wedding and she did not mention anything to me while we were together, even though I had been the one to pay her bill up front. When the planner texted her back, asking for the details, she was told it was for a travel fee. I knew that was wrong, as all of my invoices from Day 1, had included a $190 travel fee, and I had paid it. After the wedding weekend, I sent Amber a copy of the invoice showing the $190 travel fee, and attached the email from her saying that we were paid in full. Any girls that added false eyelashes as an after thought, paid her by check or cash when the services were performed so I knew that we had left nothing outstanding. I did hear back from her that it was in fact a clerical error but there was no sincere apology. I can't help but feel that this was some attempt to get more money out of us. We loved working with Sandra who took care of half of our group of 13 but some of the girls that Amber took care of, commented that she was not very friendly. Communication in advance of the event was spotty, as we would sometimes wait for weeks for answers to our emails. Other times, we heard back right away. I have no complaints on the makeup but cannot recommend this vendor because of their owner's behavior....

I hired Bombshells Studio in November of 2017 for my wedding in June of 2018. My sister in law had used her services for her wedding in the OBX and she was responsive in the beginning, however, things dramatically changed as my wedding in her closer. I began reaching out to Amber in early May to finalize details such as totals for hair and make up, my wedding time, what time she would be there, etc. From The beginning of May until 2 days before my wedding, Amber had only called me back 1 time. I called, sent emails, text messages, Facebook messages, etc. with NO RESPONSE. I finally text her 3 days before my wedding asking her to please just let me know if she was going to show up because I was highly upset that I did not know the status of hair and make up for my wedding. She finally responded to that text saying she was working a wedding and would call me later. I did speak with her later, but never did I receive an apology or an explanation as to why she had been MIA for so many weeks. It was 3 days before my wedding and she did not even know what time was wedding was at. Another make up artist came the day of the wedding and her work was great and she was super sweet. However, the stress of trying to get in touch with Amber trumps the great services received by her staff. I would not recommend her to another bride.

I got married In October and hired bombsells to do hair for 9 women. As soon as the women arrived the had more of a rushed panicked mood because they wanted to get everyone's hair done in time (not cool and collective at all). All my bridesmaid hair turned out amazing but the two little girls did not look well at all and wasn't going to argue to get it fixed which was only thrown up in a bun with a braid twisted around it. The top wasn't nicely combed back nothing just looked like she did when she goes to school but didn't say anything since I was having some trouble myself getting ready. Once I got my hair done they started my make up and had it done fairly quick not even 5 minutes after they left my eyelash started to fall off so I completely panicked. I had to have all my pictures taken from my one side so you wouldn't notice it and then once I got back to the house my wedding planner (my angel) brought me extra glue. Which still didn't work by this time my bobbie pins that my whole head of hair was being held up with was all falling out and had to finish my reception with one eyelash on. Now I am in a wedding this August and im traumatized for anyone to do my hair or makeup

I used Bombshells to provide hair and makeup for my wedding party, MOB, MOG, and two special aunts. They arrived promptly and went to work which was great! My hair held throughout the night and they were willing to fix pieces of hair on others that escaped throughout the day since she started getting people ready at 11am for a 6:30p wedding.
Amber was not responsive 90% of the time and I did not appreciate having to call her multiple times as well as my mother and planner calling her when she would not respond 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding. Communication was a challenge and therefore made things more stressful when she still hadn't called to talk to me(regarding hairstyle ideas) and set up/confirm an arrival time two days before the wedding.
In the end I wasn't sure I was charged the correct amount, and Amber said she would email me a receipt- still no receipt so I do not know but I do not feel "good value" in paying 55$ to have someone curl up a very short hairdo (think 1.5 inches long) or paying full price for a junior bridesmaid to have some blush and eye shadow put on.

Also, when on the day of the wedding I asked Amber if we could add a few more people she snidely said (without thinking of what she was really saying- I do not think she meant to be hurtful) that we would have had to do that a month ago, but they would try. They did end up taking everyone, but it was frustrating to me because I had tried to be in touch with her starting over five weeks before the wedding regarding this issue and she would never call me back or email me with the information I was requesting.

Everyone's hair and makeup did look great all in all, just the overall experience left a sour taste in my mouth.

Ultimately I wish I had gone with another organization, but Amber's kindness and staff congeniality won me over at the expo.

Don't book this company!!

I should have listened to previous reviews warning against this company...
Customer service is lousy. Difficult to get in touch with them throughout the planning process. When I cancelled services that I had already paid in full, they initially tried denying the change to services until I pointed out that I was allowed to change services based on our contract. They admitted they needed to change their contract, then they dragged their feet in sending a refund. When they finally did, they only sent a partial refund and did not refund in full. Cannot recommend them.

I was very disappointed in the way my makeup turned out on my wedding day. I ended up using my personal makeup to fix everything after they left my house. This was extremely stressful. I reached out to the owner, Amber, to let her know about my experience and I never got a response. I feel that that is very unprofessional and shows poor customer service. Throughout my time with Bombshell's, I found that it was very hard to get in touch with anyone, it could take up to a few weeks to get a response to an email. It took over a month just to schedule my trial run before the wedding. As an Outer Banks local, I will no longer recommend this company, the expense was not worth the value.

Worst experience EVER!!! I had to reach out to Amber multiple times before ever receiving responses from her. She told me "they don't check e-mail or answer their phone on a regular basis." I understand that they are an on-sight Company. However, this is no excuse to not respond to e-mail for weeks at a time. I don't know how anyone can run a business and not check e-mail or respond to their paying customers??

Additionally, she was rude to me when I tried scheduling trial runs even though these were written IN MY CONTRACT and paid for. When I had my trial run with the make up lady, she did a great job. However, she mentioned briefly that she had another wedding that day in Manteo (I was getting ready in Duck) with 9 bridesmaids. When I reached out to Amber regarding scheduling and what time my make up could be done...I received NO RESPONSE after weeks and weeks of me asking!! Come to find out (only through my wedding planner because Amber didn't respond to me) that the make up lady planned to do my make up at 8AM!!! I wasn't getting married until 5PM!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME????...not to mention this is now 2 weeks before my wedding that I find this out!! Luckily my wedding planner is awesome and scheduled me with another company (It's Royaltly) for my make up, who was very accomodating and did an AWESOME job.

As for hair: I couldn't schedule a trial run until 3 DAYS before my wedding because the hair stylist had been on maternity leave....which is fine, I understand that. Rachael did a great job on everyone's hair! However, we were pressed for time at the end and everyone was scrambling because we only had one person doing hair for 8 people (and was originally supposed to be 9 people!). She had to take breaks to pump because she just had a baby (which I understand completely), but if that was the case the scheduler (Amber, again) should have scheduled another person to help finish our hair.
