Boettcher Mansion was a dream come true venue for us! We got married on a Friday in September and it could not have been more perfect. It checked basically every box - cozy, woodsy, romantic ... a little bit of a fairy tale! They did some upgrades after we booked that really brightened up the place - redoing the floors, painting the lobby a gorgeous blue. Shea, the venue coordinator, was incredibly helpful and kind; she was so responsive to every question we had over the year of planning - and there were a LOT of questions... thanks Shea!! We added on the gazebo and the indoor and outdoor lighting package ... it did make it more expensive, but getting married on a Friday counteracted some of that added cost and the lighting was beautifully done, it added a soft, cozy glow to the evening. The main room and patio fit our 102 guests comfortably for the ceremony and reception. The dressing rooms were lovely and well-equipped, and everything flowed really seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. It was honestly a dream venue and we couldn't be happier we chose it! If you're looking for a gorgeous Colorado mountain venue with phenomenal staff - and prices definitely lower than some other ritzy mountain venues - this is the venue for you!

We had our wedding at the gorgeous Boettcher Mansion in July 2022. It's a truly magical place to host a wedding, from the beautiful craftsman decorating style inside to the breathtaking views outside. We had a 105 person wedding and we could have fit more people if needed, but that number felt perfect for our day. Working with Shea for the logistics leading up to the wedding and Laura the day of the wedding, we knew that we were in good hands. They answered any questions we had and were so accommodating as we had to change our date twice thanks to Covid. If you're looking for a fantastic venue for your wedding, definitely choose Boettcher Mansion.

I'm the rare Colorado bride who got rain on her summer wedding day and it lasted long enough (hours) to change the venue from outdoor to indoor. The planner put a bunch of floating cylinder candles on the fireplace and the arch flowers were placed on the wooden benches. This actually increased the intimacy and the ceremony (along with our incredible officiant) exceeded even better than the outdoor option as the warmth and love was intense from the indoor setting. Everyone said it was the best ceremony they had ever seen. We also had an instrumental band in the piano room.

Boettcher is the perfect setting and I would recommend the venue with the following advice:
-We paid $9500 with taxes for a full day rental so it adds up quick from the $5800 venue fee. The venue is worth it, IMO, but you should be aware of where the price ends up after all the add ons. This is partly because you must rent the lights for $1000 and also the adjacent spaces (gazebo, etc) to prevent people from coming on the grounds
-We had a disagreement with the venue on start time and rehearsal as they tightly book other events and even tours the day of your full day rental. This isn't common for that amount of money. We had a 1:00 setup time and it was tough getting them to do a 12:00 setup time but we were happy they finally agreed to this. Notably other full day rentals give you the full day starting at 8 am if needed
-I would recommend (2) hair and (2) makeup persons to pull off a full day as they limit yourself setup time to 3 hours. It would be tough to have this done in a salon and then go to the venue as it's located at least 45 mins from Denver or Boulder, although going to a salon is possible. If you do the hair and makeup on site, you'll need two of each if your bridal party is bigger than 3 people bc the bride takes an hour
-For some reason, the cake was served in the entry area rather than the reception hall. That meant we ended up with nobody in our reception area despite paying for a live band and technically ended up without a reception as people mingled in a small space instead. This was an oversight by the caterer as they did not break down the dinner tables but having venue staff that can help maximize the use of the venue would have been a nice backup for this oversight as they know the space best. I imagine every wedding at Boettcher has a reception in the reception hall so this should have appeared out of place for venue staff as a backup as we used a recommended caterer. This happened so fast we didn't realize everyone was eating cake in the entry area until it was already done. They also didn't get to see us cut our cake. We were confused as to why nobody was in the reception area and the band was playing to an empty room.

Overall, we do recommend Boettcher and if I could do it all again, it's the one and only place for me. We had 70 people fly in and the proximity, views, romantic setting, indoor/outdoor spaces are unparalleled. Megan was also very helpful to us and very professional.

Wow! Shea and her team were amazing. They responded and answered all of my questions quickly. They helped me reschedule my wedding after having to postpone for Covid. They were always kind, professional, and helpful. Additionally, the venue is absolutely beautiful. Our guests are still telling us how much they loved it. The getting ready rooms were comfortable and spacious. The ceremony on the patio was gorgeous (especially with the lights up). We decided to have half of our guests seated outside for the reception and the spacing was perfect. If I had to do the whole thing over again, I would absolutely go to Boettcher again.

The Boettcher Mansion was a complete and total wedding saver! We had everything planned and ready to go on our wedding, despite all of the challenges of Covid, until two months prior to our date the venue cancelled on us! We reached out to Boettcher as we had really liked them when we were first checking out venues, but our plans were very different and the only thing they didn’t have that we wanted was lodging for our guests. With the restrictions and changes that were being put in place, our plans changed and we were scrambling to figure it all out. When we reached out to Boettcher, we got a quick response from Shea and found out that our date was shockingly still available! The process was smooth and the staff was very helpful and accommodating as we made all of the pivots and changes to things that we had planned. By the time our date rolled around, it felt like this was the plan all along. Kimberly was our day of contact and she did an AMAZING job with helping the day go off without issue. Our pictures were beautiful, our guests were happy, and we can’t even imagine our special day taking place anywhere else. It all felt so meant to be that we couldn’t have been happier with it all. Thank you to the incredible work of the staff at Boettcher Mansion for all that you did to help our dreams come true.

I had such a wonderful experience with my wedding at Boettcher Mansion. We had about 170 people attend which was cozy for an late October wedding but it worked out great! It also had snowed leading up to the wedding but they had all the paths shoveled and clear for the big day.
The day of coordinators provided by Boettcher were wonderful and super helpful.
The venue is so naturally beautiful that our pictures turned out amazing!
I would definitely recommend this venue to all of my friends :)

My husband and I were married at Boettcher Mansion this past January (01/11/20) and we had an absolutely beautiful wedding in great part due to the wonderful staff at Boettcher who were extremely helpful from start to finish. They connected us with great vendors, were very responsive when we had any questions, and overall were just very kind and accommodating to ensure that our wedding and reception went as planned. Beautiful setting and wonderful staff! Highly recommend!

They were extremely helpful and flexible with us and our entire wedding. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

We loved Boettcher mansion! We paid for the entire venue to ourselves which was perfect! My only reservation was paying $1000.00 to have them put their own lights up. That seemed like a lot but I would say you just go for it!

This was so stress free knowing the wedding could be outdoors or indoors depending on Colorado crazy weather. It was beautiful.

My wife and I got married at Boettcher Mansion in August and it was exactly what we were looking for. The staff at Boettcher were incredibly easy to work with and the venue was beautiful. Our guests are still talking about how great the venue was. We can't wait to go back there and visit. The only minor issue was the charge a lot for the use of their bistro lights, which was a shame since they make the patio even prettier. We decided not to go with the lights to save money. Overall though, excellent value. We visited about a dozen places and researched plenty more before deciding on Boettcher.

Boettcher Mansion was an incredible place to have our wedding. Compared with some of the other high-end Colorado venues, it was extremely reasonably priced and still absolutely beautiful. Because they only provide the space and tables/chairs, it was a little more DIY/hands-on than some other choices.... so a little more work but also more customizable. The staff also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Shea was incredibly responsive leading up to the wedding. When I arrived to the venue with my brother on my wedding day, there was an angry rattlesnake at the entrance—the venue coordinator told us it was the first one they'd EVER seen, and was wonderful about calling a ranger and ensuring its removal right away! Our vendors, which were chosen off their preferred list, were all on their game and wonderful as well. We got so many compliments from our guests and couldn't have asked for a better intimate Colorado venue.

Boettcher Mansion is a stunning historic lodge featuring Arts & Crafts movement design details in a gorgeous natural setting. The space and atmosphere were perfect for our wedding of sixty people, and they can accommodate a good deal more people than that if needed. Our contacts at Boettcher were always communicative and responsible, ensuring that we were comfortable and in the loop on all preparation required beforehand. Their coordinator for our wedding day, Liz, was a delight and made the experience utterly seamless (plus she's been to Antarctica, too!). The space is intimate indoors and breezy outdoors, with gorgeous nearby trails and a gazebo on site for wonderful wedding photos. We could not have been happier with our experience at Boettcher and are so grateful to this venue for creating such a perfect experience (and at a reasonable cost!).

I am so happy that I decided to have my wedding at Boettcher Mansion! I almost went with somewhere else in that area but I am glad that I chose Boettcher. The staff was amazing to work; Megan and Kylie were always there to answer my (millions) of phone calls and questions. I would recommend this venue to anyone! It does not disappoint.

This place is naturally beautiful!! It was perfect for what I was looking for: intimate, mountainy yet not far from Denver, an experience that my guests would like, and pretty enough on its own that it didn't require a lot of decor. It was the only venue I looked at. My guests did indeed love the space and thought it was so special. As the bride, the greatest thing of this place is that everything is included. They have a great vendor fair, resident DJ, a short list of preferred vendors, and storage LOCKERS!! You can drop off things 5 days in advance to store there and then come pick it up the day after the event. This was HUGE! Great space!

Beautiful venue! Boettcher Mansion was the perfect place for our special day! The staff was amazing, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our day outstanding! The Boettcher Mansion is just a beautiful place, and is snuggled into a beautiful location making your wedding feel as if you were miles into the mountains but it only a few miles away from the city! We would recommend this venue to any of our friends!

Beautiful Mountain venue that isn't too far from Denver. Gorgeous surroundings not a lot of extra decorations needed- it provides it's own natural beauty. Great deals on hourly rates on off times, you have to bring your own alcohol which provided me a HUGE savings for the bar expense.

I could not have picked a better venue! We had the whole mansion to ourselves and the grounds couldn't have been more beautiful. This was a totally new experience for a lot of my guests and they can't stop talking about it. Megan and her team are great and very helpful. I'm so grateful to have found this location.

We were married at the Boettcher Mansion, and I don't think there is a better place. The ambience, the mountain view, the location, and the helpfulness of the staff were absolutely everything we wanted and more.

What a beautiful venue! Boettcher is close enough to Denver for those not from the area, but also secluded and close to the mountains that you'll have a gorgeous "Colorado scenery" in your photos. All of our guests fell in love with the idea that we were married and celebrating, literally, on top of a mountain.
Laurie and Megan were fantastic to work with because they were so quick to respond to all my questions (I had plenty!). All the preferred vendors at Boettcher Mansion are top notch.

Boettcher was the Perfect venue for my daughters wedding! Denise was so accommodating and made sure our guests were comfortable. The beauty of the Mansion took our guests breath away. The happy couple were very satisfied and will share their experience of a lifetime for years to come!

The venue was beautiful! Their prices were a steal compared to other mountain venues of the same quality. they even had a kitchen so our caterer was able to provide fresh food. They were very flexible with our needs and answered all of our questions promptly, no matter when we asked them.

Boettcher was stunning!! We are so pleased we went with this venue for our big day! The staff was amazing and the venue is more than gorgeous! Magical....

The Boettcher Mansion wasn’t my first choice but it should have been. I went to several bridal shows and vendor previews at Boettcher, was using most of their preferred vendors, and loved Laurie but as an artist my dream was to get marred in an art gallery. I found a beautiful one in Golden that was converted from an old church Perfect right?! Wrong. They painted the gallery BLACK 2 weeks before the wedding. I was in tears and frantically trying to find a new place to have our event. My mom suggested I call Laurie and see if they had any available dates since we had been there so many times. Well moms always know best! Not only did Laurie comfort me emotionally, saving me from becoming bridezilla, she completely planned my wedding at the mansion in two weeks AND it was better than I could have hoped for at the former venue! She and her staff are top notch. I even referred the mansion to my cousin who will be getting married there in August. Now I have had the pleasure of seeing the process start to finish from a bridesmaid prospective instead of a bride and I am still impressed. Although we have slightly similar themes our events are completely different and of course Laurie has been there all along the way to ensure my cousin is as happy and stress free as she can. The mansion has an amazing staff, beautiful Colorado location, great vendors and reasonable pricing. I couldnt be happier with the way my wedding turned out. I cannot tell you how greatful I am that she was able to turn my disaster wedding into my dream wedding.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Boettcher Mansion and couldn't have been happier! The event coordinator was helpful throughout the entire process. The venue itself is fantastic, especially for people like us who wish to have a CO mountain wedding with beautiful views, but for out-of-towners still be relatively close to DIA.

What a fabulous venue! We are so lucky to have found Boettcher Mansion. Laurie the event manager was so accommodating and was always easy to reach to answer questions. We had a 7pm wedding and it could not have been more perfect. The sunset was beautiful during the cocktail hour and the beautiful scenery was enjoyed by our guests all throughout the evening. I am so happy we picked Boettcher Mansion!

Boettcher Mansion is located 20 minutes west of Denver on Lookout Mountain. The arts and crafts style mansion has been a part of Colorado history since 1917 and has hosted many beautiful weddings since 1975.

I was very impressed with Boettcher Mansion. Not only did I have my wedding there, but so did one of my friends and both weddings were wonderful. They were very professional, nice and helped me to have a very beautiful and fun wedding. They are very flexible and allow you to bring in your own food and alcohol. Not only that, but they recommended some GREAT vendors which we ended up using. The food was delicious and the DJ was awesome. Overall, I would certainly recommend that you take a closer look at Boettcher Mansion.

The Boettcher Mansion was the perfect fit for us! The staff is professional, friendly, and very helpful. We hosted a brunch wedding in September, and the mansion was a perfect blend of mountain, vintage, indoor/outdoor, private, intimate, and convenient location! The mansion hosts regular vendor previews which really helped with our decision making process. This venue is not to be overlooked!

When we decided to get married, we wanted to find a unique venue that was close to Denver with great character and fantastic views. Boettcher Mansion absolutely fit the bill and we were so pleased with how our wedding and reception there turned out. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, and the building and setting were truly beautiful, especially on a warm summer evening. A few of the nice touches that make Boettcher Mansion stand out are the lovely patios and the Fireside Room, which have so much atmosphere that they don't need to be dressed with a lot of flowers or decorations. Also, you have a storage unit to put your wedding decor/items, and there's a lot of space for the wedding party to get ready. All in all, Boettcher Mansion was great value for money, and was a gorgeous backdrop for our dream wedding!

Gorgeous venue, great staff, and fairly affordable for all that you get. They were very easy to work with as long as we stayed within the parameters that were at times strict given that it is a historic site. Overall a great experience and I’m really glad we chose them for our wedding! Jill, Shea, and Meghan were all great!

We had an awesome experience with Boettcher Mansion for our 8/05/18 wedding. It was a gorgeous venue and great for out-of-town guests because you get the mountain vibes from a very accessible venue. Our guests raved about how beautiful it was both inside and out. The whole staff was very accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process.

We love the Boettcher Mansion! The historic and woodsy feel of the venue made our wedding day so magical. The staff is so nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend!

Great for weddings under 100. Was picture perfect in every way. We opted to rent both the main house and the carriage house to insure we would be the only event and as we were married in the winter it was unnecessary. We could have saved $250 as we did not utilize the space at all. There is a $75 rehearsal fee I missed as well but was minimal in comparison to the great staff. They give you a storage unit the week of the wedding to deliver decor alcohol whatever you can to eliminate added stress the day of. :-)

The Boettcher Mansion was an absolutely beautiful location for my daughter's wedding. The Fireside room where the ceremony took place was beautiful and the pictures that were taken outside captured the stunning views. This venue is managed in such an organized way that as the Mother of the Bride, it was easy to work with them during the planning phase. ...... My only frustration was being charged for a curling iron or flat iron burn on a chair because our wedding was the only one over that weekend that indicated they were doing hair on premise (the bride's hair was done by a professional with a table and the other 2 adults did their hair at counter in the bride's room and they irons were left unplugged on that tile counter until after the ceremony). On checkout from the facility after my daughter's wedding, there were no concerns found, but the burn was noticed during the next working day, so my recommendation is to take video of the location at checkout to document the condition. .... Even with loosing part of my deposit, I would select Boettcher again as a venue due to the quality of service, their helpfulness and responsiveness, organization and professionalism.

We chose the Boettcher Mansion for our wedding venue and are very glad that we did so. Laurie and Meghan both were very patient with me when I called with multiple questions concerning details and were very organized and pleasant to work with. The venue itself was the perfect size for our wedding size of about 70 people. Our guests commented quite a bit on how lovely the mansion was maintained and the attention paid to detail. Our caterer mentioned how nice and well appointed the kitchen was and how much they liked working from it.
The price was a little steep but the value was definitely there for what we paid for. I gave them a 4 star for flexibility simply as they have a set list of caterers to use at the venue, but overall we couldn't have been happier with the setting and location!

From our very first visit, we knew that Boettcher Mansion would be the ideal setting for our outdoor, nature-themed wedding. The views are breathtaking the venue has a cozy, rustic feeling. The staff at Boettcher was extremely helpful and responsive. Every person we spoke with treated us with the utmost importance, which made us feel confident with our choice. On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly, our walk-through contact was on top of everything, and the venue was in perfect condition.

Our only frustration was with the rehearsal time, which could not be confirmed until 10 days out. Since we had a Sunday wedding, the Saturday wedding took precedence over our rehearsal and we ended up pushing the rehearsal an hour earlier than planned, which threw off our dinner plans. I would just have a back up time and be willing to be flexible.

Overall, we could not be happier with the venue and its services. We got numerous comments on how whimsical it seemed. It is a gorgeous Colorado setting without being cheesy. We loved it!

Excellent place -- beautiful and intimate and a great alternative to other mountain places too far from Denver to practically trek. We loved it!

We had our reception at Boettcher mansion and could not be happier with the way that everything turned out. Laurie Vogt was amazing to work with. She really made sure that all of our bases were covered and everything was taken care of. As an out-of-town bride, I was very nervous about the execution of our "vision" and plans and she really helped to soothe my anxiety. She went above and beyond to make sure that the event was a success. The groundskeeper even offered his services to hang lanterns for us - the ceilings are over 20 feet high, so there was no way that we could have done it on our own. We had a ton of rave reviews from our guests on the choice of venue - it really is breathtaking. We had a small group (only 40 people) and i was worried about filling up the space, but it turned out to be a perfect fit with our seating plan. I highly recommend Boettcher Mansion!

My Husband and I completly loved it, We both love the Colorado Rockies and we both wanted to get married in the rockies and as soon as we went there to view it we both loved it and booked it ASAP! It was also great that the price was hourly instead of a flat rate so it helped with are budget!

This venue was so perfect for my husband and I as outdoorsy people. It was absolutely gorgeous and our guests all loved it as well. They were great to work with. We highly recommend it.

This is such a beautiful site inside and out! We had just under 90 guests and this was the perfect place for that many people. The folks at Boettcher were very friendly in person and extremely responsive to email.

So beautiful here! I got the winter wedding I dreamed of! Boettcher is absolutely beautiful. I had 50 guests which is just enough for this venue. Anymore May feel like a tight squeeze. I was blown away by how amazing everything came together the day of the wedding. My only complaint is that they are very rigid when it comes to flexibility. Make sure you want what you pay for because they will not change it after the fact. Outside lighting is pretty but inside lighting is not worth the $500 they charge for it(I got both). Overall I highly recommend them!
Note to Boettcher: please don’t increase your prices, it is nice to have a wedding venue that isn’t trying to drain more money from newly weds but rather offer an affordable option! Thank you for everything! I loved it!

The Boettcher Mansion is a beautiful venue. It had that "Colorado" feel without having our guests drive 2-3 hours to get into the mountains. Everyone loved the venue and I thought it was a perfect size for a wedding of about 77 people. We didn't have to break down tables to make room for a dance floor and there was plenty of room to get around. The outside ceremony area accommodated all of our guests comfortably and I don't think there was a bad view in the house. At least none of the guests complained about it. A few locals even commented on how beautiful the Boettcher was, a lot of them have been up to Lookout Mountain but never stopped to check anything out. It's a beautiful venue inside and out and the people there were very quick with communications. They offer quite a few different catering options and you can even do your own catering if you're so inclined. They're not very flexible time wise and they're average price wise. Not the most expensive but not the cheapest either. One of their office employees went above and beyond after the wedding trying to return a couple of things to us. I would recommend Boettcher to a friend, beautiful place with responsive staff.

Beautiful venue. It worked great and everything went well but honestly for over 75 people it’s just too small especially if it’s a fall or winter wedding. Also didn’t like how unflexible they were about their timing. We can rent to go later but not earlier even with no wedding before. That’s very frustrating. But great venue for pictures and all the staff was great!

Boettcher was the perfect place to have our wedding. Beautiful setting with a mountain vibe just a short drive from town. It was a day to be remembered. The staff at the mansion was great and easy to work with. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Our wedding turned out even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! The staff that we worked with leading up to and on our wedding day were very helpful and we felt comfortable asking questions which I found wasn't always the case with other vendors we had talked to before. We got married in mid-September and the weather was absolutely perfect for our outdoor ceremony and the weather stayed nice throughout the night and many guests found themselves comfortable socializing under the lights on the back porch. Boettcher Mansion is also open throughout the week for visitors to view which made it easy to make routine trips up there to plan out decorations, ceremony procession, seating arrangements, etc. Being the overly detailed oriented bride that I was, it was very nice to have this freedom and not have to worry about making appointments because we all know how many appointments brides already have!

Boettcher seems to be very money hungry. Everything was great until the day of our wedding. Then everything went south. I was extremely disappointed with the service we received during and after the wedding. First of all they took our entire security deposit, not because we threw a rager and damage things, but because my 80 year old father-in-law caught the flu (as did just about everyone at my wedding, but that is a different story) and throw up on a rug. Which my sister-in-law, who was also sick, cleaned up entirely by herself, while the staff watched, not offering any help at any point. We were also accused of stealing their 50 cent bottle opener, which we DID NOT. My maid of honor made absolutely sure to give it back to the staff as soon as we were done with it. As if that wasn't enough we were charged for our dogs being off lease during the ceremony. We sign an agreement that they would not disturb any of the surrounding areas or animals, and the most they did was bark at a squirrel, beside that they were at the side of someone in the wedding party the entire time. So we literally got charged, not because they misbehaved, damage or disturbed something, but simply because at some point in time, during the chaos of a wedding someone was not holding their leash.
Then to top it all off!! We are require to use a Boettcher approved caterer, if we don't want to pay an additional fee. Which would have been fine had they been as competent as Boettcher insisted they were. Not only was our food cold and not what we arranged to have served, but the staff was rude to my guests and they damage, lost and knowing THREW AWAY A LOT of my personal belongings!!!!
I thought so highly of Boettcher until the day of our event, but they severely disappointed me..

My guests couldn’t compliment my wedding day enough. We had a bunch of people from out of town and they said “wow when I think of a Colorado wedding this is it”

GORGEOUS location! I LOVED getting married here. The ambiance is awesome, plus you can get some really cool pictures in the woods and at the lookout.
It's up a mountain, so i'd definitely recommend getting a shuttle for guests.
I would also have a day-of coordinator and wouldn't rely on their onsite people on the day of. Everything leading up to the event was spot on though. Fast responses.
Be very careful going over the time limit. We were cleaning up and checked out 27 minutes late and got charged $250. Also take note that they do charge for extra hours if you want to get ready at the location.
Other than that though, I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was the perfect location! Everyone LOVED it!

We got married at Boettcher Mansion in October, 2016. The space is small, but very beautiful and intimate. I would definitely recommend this venue.

Both my husband and I fell in love with the mansion itself when we originally went to tour the carriage house for our small wedding. We felt that the staff was very helpful to us with our questions and concerns before the wedding and during the wedding itself. We were grateful to the event manager there during the wedding because she helped us with directing the wedding party during the ceremony since we never had a rehearsal. The mansion was an absolutely beautiful place, both indoors and outside, and we felt it needed little in the way of decorations. We did have a few minor irritations about the cost vs. value for our experience:
a) Since we used the "friends & family" catering we did not need to use their kitchen. However, we had to bring our own trash cans, trash bags, and cleaning rags for the tables. We felt that after having to pay $1400 for four hours they could at least have trash cans set out and we didn't mind asking family to take the trash out.
b) There was some nickel and dime tactics, such as $300 fee for use of the stereo equipment and $600 for use of the kitchen. All we wanted to use from the kitchen was the ice machine and sink but didn't want to pay $600 for it!
c) There were signs around the front entrance stating that an event was taking place but no sign was posted on the back patio where we had the ceremony. On our day there were many hikers and tourists around the area and a couple did walk in the doors through the back patio. My sister had to ask them to leave and I informed the staff a few days later about needing a sign out back also. I'm not sure if they took care of the issue.
Outside of those few things we enjoyed the experience and would recommend this venue to anyone that can afford the price.

This mansion is beautiful, but be ready to deal with county rules. The staff was friendly. The costs quickly add up, every option there has an extra fee. Besides that issue, this was an ideal place to hold a wedding.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning but beware of all their hidden fees! I was as thorough as could possibly be, making multiple trips from Texas to Colorado and meeting with the director of the mansion to go over our timeline, layout, etc.. We had everything in writing and confirmed. Yet, on my wedding day as I'm leaving the venue in my wedding dress to go to the church, Megan comes out to tell me that I couldn't have my cocktail hour in the front because I hadn't paid for it. Yet, during our many meetings AND phone calls, we were told there was NO difference from having the cocktail hour in the back or in the front. The worst part is simply the lack of professionalism and to have the guts to tell a bride on her way to the church that she has to pay $350 is absolutely absurd! I'd recommend this venue ONLY for their location but BEWARE OF ALL THE HIDDEN FEES.

The quality of service was okay - when they were responsive. It was terribly difficult to get ahold of the event managers when you had questions. The mansion is so beautiful that in the end, the fight you went through to get any answers was mostly worth it. HOWEVER! Professionalism went completely out the door when the event manager Laurie began giving a tour while we were frantically trying to set up for our wedding. Less than an hour away from our wedding, after our start time had begun at the mansion, some strangers showed up expecting a tour. These people had the guts to walk past 2 'private event no trespassing' signs and still came inside the mansion. Instead of escorting them out, she actually gave them a tour. ON MY DIME! Terrible. Expect that disrespect from them because she did not even apologize to me for it. I would not book at this venue until they have a new event manager working for them.

Working with Boettcher was difficult and disappointing. The venue is beautiful, but if I could do this over, I would prefer to work with professionals that work with you, and work to put on a seamless event.
