If you’re in the middle of picking a wedding venue and planner, then you already know it’s one of the most stressful and overwhelming decisions you’ll make. Is this going to look good in pictures? How’s the food? Will they treat my guests like kings and queens? How much is it going to cost? Those are a few of the questions we were asking ourselves. And let me tell you. Jen at Boca Lago made everything better than we could have imagined. Here’s why: 1. She’s super organized! I guess after planning and managing 1,300+ weddings over the past 20+ years she’s got it down to a science! 2. She doesn’t forget ANY details. And if you’ve never planned a wedding before, there are so many details it’s virtually impossible to check all the boxes. But with Jen, you will never have to worry. She works backwards from the date of your wedding to make sure you’re “checking off tasks” WAY before it gets stressful. 3. Her team is top-notch. Jen’s team will become your family. From her assistant to the head chef, the entire team will know every detail about your wedding. Get this… I’m a member a Boca Lago. And a few weeks after the wedding I’m sitting outside at the bar and one of the staff members says “hey I really loved your Odyssey Him & Her drinks at the wedding!” I’m like… wow… you remembered those?" and the bartender said, "how could we forget? Jen was prepping the team to make these just right for weeks before you date!” That’s what you can expect from Jen and her team. 4. Jen is easy to deal with. She reads the room, understands energy, and knows when to push and when to lay back and allow things to fall into place. I was texting her the entire day of the wedding and she never once left me hanging for more than a few minutes. She’s on it. And she’s on it because this is what she does. And she does it with passion. 5. The food at Boca Lago was such a standout part of our wedding. We weren’t expecting it to be one of the highlights, but our guests are still talking about how good everything was. The quality speaks for itself — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. As longtime members, we already knew the food was great, and they truly delivered on our big day. 6. THE PRICE. Boca Lago’s pricing is very competitive. But here’s the thing… it’s not like so many other vendors who sell you the dream. Boca Lago actually undersells the value. What they offer in terms of services, attention, setting, extras, and COMMUNICATION… makes this venue worth far more than they charge. The venue cost will not even be on the top of your list of expenses to worry about. I could give you another 100 reasons why we’re so grateful to have picked Jen at Boca Lago to make our dreams come true on our wedding day. But instead, I’ll leave you with this. If you’re considering a wedding a Boca Lago, do yourself a favor and go meet Jen in person. Ask her a million questions. She’ll listen. Give you answers. And add ZERO pressure. In fact, she’ll probably reduce your stress levels by a lot. If you do that now, as soon as possible, I promise when your wedding day shows up (and it will come way faster than you think) you’ll be thankful you read this review later. Best decision we made
Jenn and her team absolutely outdid themselves. Everything came out absolutely perfect from start to finish. From our very first meeting, Jenn was incredibly responsive and answered every question almost immediately. Throughout the entire planning process, she was flexible, accommodating, and always willing to work with us on any changes, requests, or ideas we had. Her goal was always to make sure we were happy, and it truly showed every step of the way.
On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. I can honestly say there were zero issues or problems. Every detail was executed flawlessly, which allowed us to be completely present and enjoy every moment. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Jenn made the entire process feel easy and gave us complete peace of mind.
Her staff was amazing! From the bartenders to her assistant and every team member we interacted with, everyone was professional, attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure both we and our guests had an amazing experience. Every guest felt taken care of throughout the evening.
The food was phenomenal and received countless compliments. Many of our guests told us it was some of the best food they had ever had at a wedding venue, which is not easy to accomplish. We also upgraded the alcohol package, and it was absolutely worth it.
After touring more than 20 venues, I can confidently say the value for the money at Boca Lago is unmatched. The level of service, quality, attention to detail, and overall experience far exceeded anything else we saw. Every single guest was amazed by how beautiful everything was and how smoothly everything flowed throughout the night.
What stood out most was the genuine care Jenn showed throughout the entire process. Even our wedding planner, who works with venues regularly, commented on how rare it is to find someone as kind, responsive, and helpful as Jenn. She also mentioned how uncommon it is to find a venue team that is so accommodating and invested in making sure every detail is perfect. That speaks volumes about the level of service they provide.
We are beyond grateful to Jenn and the entire Boca Lago team for making our wedding day more perfect than we could have ever imagined. They didn’t just provide a venue they helped create one of the most memorable days of our lives. If we had to do it all over again, we would choose Boca Lago a thousand times over.

We truly had the most incredible day of our lives at Boca Lago — we couldn’t have chosen a better venue!
From the moment we started planning, everything felt seamless and exciting. Our event planner, Jen, was absolutely amazing. She made us feel so welcomed and cared for, accommodated every little thing we wanted, and kept communication clear and consistent the entire way. She made the whole process feel completely stress-free, which is priceless when planning a wedding.
On the big day, everything was beyond perfect. The space looked beautiful, the décor was stunning, and the staff went above and beyond for us and our guests. So many people told us how attentive, kind, and professional the wait staff was, and how delicious the food was. We received compliments all night long!
If you’re considering Boca Lago for your wedding, don’t even think twice — book it. It was truly a dream come true, and we would recommend it a thousand times over! -

An Unforgettable Wedding Experience — Beyond Our Wildest Expectations!
We hosted our wedding at Boca Lago Country Club on November 15th after nearly two years of planning, and switching to Boca Lago ended up being the best decision we made, second only to marrying each other. We actually forfeited our deposit at another venue to make the change, and we would do it again without hesitation.
From the very beginning, working with Jen was hands-down the best part of the entire planning process. She is truly one of a kind. Not only did she bring every single idea and vision I had to life, but she somehow managed to do it while gracefully handling my husband’s very real OCD, laser-sharp attention to detail, and perfectly timed witty sarcasm. And yes, I have to mention the chandelier. It was absolutely stunning and honestly one of the reasons I fell in love with this venue in the first place. Jen understood how much it mattered to me and made sure it was showcased perfectly. She met every question, tweak, and last-minute thought with patience, humor, and total professionalism, and somehow made the entire process feel easy and enjoyable.
The venue itself is stunning, but what truly sets Boca Lago apart is the experience, especially the food. Coming from an Italian New Yorker, that compliment does not come lightly. Still to this day, our family and guests are talking about how incredible the food was. From cocktail hour to dinner, every bite was exceptional.
My dream was to have a New York, old-school Italian-style wedding, something I honestly didn’t think was possible in Florida. Jen went above and beyond to make that dream a reality, exceeding every expectation we had. The level of care, attention, and passion she put into our day is something we will never forget.
If you’re looking for a venue that is beautiful, organized, and truly committed to delivering an unforgettable wedding, Boca Lago is it. And if you’re lucky enough to work with Jen, just know you are in the absolute best hands imaginable! -

Fairytale dreams come true.
I had my wedding at Boca Lago on November 15th…after almost two years in the making. We even lost our deposit at another venue to switch to Boca Lago — and honestly, it was the best decision we ever made (second only to marrying each other, lol). Working with Jen was hands-down the most fun and amazing part of the entire planning process. The way she brought every single idea and vision I had to life was unreal. She went out of her way to make everything feel easy, exciting, and stress-free, which was such a breath of fresh air for us.
Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful, and not only is Jen the most incredible person to work with, but the food…my God, the food. Coming from an Italian New Yorker, that is the biggest compliment I can give. It’s been 13 days, and my guests and family are still talking about how incredible everything tasted.
My dream was to have a New York, old-school Italian-style wedding — something I didn’t think was even possible in Florida — but Jen went above and beyond to make it happen. I truly don’t have the words for how grateful we are for her and everything she did.
If you’re looking for a venue and food that will absolutely wow your guests, Boca Lago is the place. And if you’re lucky enough to work with Jen, just know you’re in the best hands imaginable. -

I cannot express my gratitude enough to Jen and Maddie - the ladies of the events team at Boca Lago Golf & Country Club. This venue is truly enhanced by their services, attention to detail, and overall support in the whole wedding process for any Bride. When we first toured this venue, we of course thought the ballroom was beautiful, as well as their ceremony location options, but what really set this location apart from the others was Jen. Her kindness and support throughout this whole wedding planning process were beyond helpful. She also has a room full of decor pieces that you can use with no extra cost, and so many fit the overall vision of our big day. And on the day of, she was there through every step, ensuring the smooth timeline and making sure we were fed lol!
As a bride who can stress very easily and is probably too micromanaging over things like this, Jen kept me at ease and calm throughout it all. I cannot recommend this venue enough to future brides and couples looking to have their fairytale wedding! -

My wedding was June 21, 2025, at Boca Lago and words can’t express how Thankful my husband and I are that we chose this venue. We were in conflict between Boca Lago and another venue whose price was comparable, but Jen was willing to work with us and sold us with her personality and all that came with the package. We received a beautiful venue with a beautiful Bridal Suite, a delicious Buffet Dinner, Cake that was not just beautiful but tasted good and the biggest plus…Jen as our Day of Coordinator with her assistant Madison. They helped us along the way and our guests were so impressed, they couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was concerning the beautiful venue, the food and cake was delicious, and Jen and all the staff were extraordinary. I highly recommend the Boca Lago as a Wedding Venue. Thanks Jen and Team!

This venue is amazing and affordable for what they offer versus other wedding venues. From start to finish our whole entire wedding planning process has been amazing. Out of all the wedding venues we visited/toured Boca Lago has gone above and beyond with everything they have provided; from decor, uplighting, and even just help during the whole planning process. Jen and her team were more than helpful. Jen you rock! We absolutely love you and everything you have done for us. Jen our venue coordinator is very detailed oriented, easy going, sweet and caring, and easy to get a hold of. From start to finish on the day of she made sure our special day went smoothly. If we had to choose a wedding venue to get married at we would choose Boca Lago over and over again. -

I chose Boca Lago Country Club as the venue for my wedding reception, and I couldn't be more thrilled with my decision. We had our wedding here on 12/14/2024. My husband and I cannot say enough AMAZING things about our whole experience here. The ballroom is recently renovated and is so pretty. The food was amazing. Our guests cannot stop talking about how great our wedding was. I am from NY and had a very specific vision. Jen Marden is the Director of Events here. She is INCREDIBLE and helped my vision come to life. She goes above and beyond. She is so professional, but also so personable and helpful. I could not have done it without her. Jen is amazing and Boca Lago is the most beautiful venue! All of our friends and family are still raving about our wedding and rewatching our video with the biggest smiles. The food was spectacular and Jen really went above and beyond for us (even fixing things that were not her doing) on our day because she cared THAT much! I will recommend this venue to everyone I know that is wanting to get married in Boca! Boca Lago Golf & Country Club was the perfect place for our wedding. We had a guest count of 350 and Jen M. And the entire team at the Club made sure every detail was perfect for our special day. They recommended vendors, took the initiative to coordinate with our chosen vendors so we could focus on just us on the big day, and were always available to consult or bounce ideas off of. They are more than just a venue to have your wedding but comes with an amazing team to have and support you on your special day and the days leading up to it, which was really a defining factor for us.. The space is absolutely beautiful and really encourages and promotes your guests to get out of their seat and enjoy and maximize the whole space, with options to walk outside, have a ceremony inside, and also has a huge lobby/cocktail area for guests to grab drinks, appetizers, and socialize. It was honestly perfect for the vibe that we were going for and there is so much space and options on how you want to dress up the rooms. My guests kept telling us how spacious the club was and how they loved the space. Jen and the team keep this in great shape and have so much experience with a lot of the florists, decor, and vendors in the area. In all, on top of the beautiful and accommodating space, Jen and the team really made it for us and made our experience top notch. Thank you so much!! Tomorrow marks two months since I had my wedding at Boca Lago and my friends, family, and I of course, are still talking about my wedding day! The service, the food, the drinks everything about Boca Lago truly exceeded my expectations. I am a very picky person. I toured over eight different wedding venues and four different country clubs, and they were no comparison to what Boca Lago offers! Jen (Boca Lago’s wedding coordinator) made this year and and a half of planning so stress-free! it honestly felt like I had my own personal wedding coordinator! Jen recently hired an assistant and I got to work with her for the last six months of my wedding planning and she is top-notch just like Jen. They are reliable professional and one of the sweetest people i ever worked with! I come from a Hispanic family who are huge critics when it comes to food and drinks and I was so worried about those two things because those are usually the main topics that people talk about at weddings. I was so happy to hear that my family and friends said this was one of the best weddings they have ever attended! that the food and the drinks were top-tier. If I can do it all over again I definitely will pick Boca Lago 100 times! If you are hesitant about booking DON’T BE this is your sign to not think twice. I can go on and on about my experience. I have also been to a lot of weddings and not to be biased, but the food, the drinks, the service, the professionalism, the space and everything that this venue has to offer you’re not going to find it in other places, Jen and the entire Boca Lago team and staff you have exceeded my expectations and I am one happy Bride! I have to have another event of some sort so have an excuse to plan something here once again!!

It was a privilege to be have chosen this place for my wedding. They have a great professional staff for the best coordination from the beginning until the end of the wedding. Jen, the Director always respond to email on time as I live out of state and had to travel several time for setting up everything. Their food is really good, the place is nice. Boca Lago was such a beautiful venue to host our 200 person wedding. It was spacious and bright, but then as the lights went down for dancing, the lighting they had really brought everyone in to the dance floor. Jen, the coordinator, did an incredible job making sure the party went smoothly and on time. She was extremely accommodating to all our needs and desires, worked professionally with all our vendors and really strived to make all details of the day personal to us. Boca Lago all in all encapsulated the environment of a true South Florida tropical wedding. Also their catering was AMAZING!! Guests claimed it was some of the best wedding food they've eaten. 10/10 recommend! -

I wish I could do it all over again! Boca Lago Country Club is the most perfect place!! Aside from the stunning golf course views, and beautiful trees… the bridal suite is breathtaking, the food is unbelievable, the staff is beyond kind and reliable, and the atmosphere is spot on!
Two people in particular I want to mention, Jen and Chloe. If you are looking for a seamless event, that entails zero stress, they’re your two ladies!!! Whatever I needed, they made sure I had it! They have shown their reliability, and kindness since day one! Don’t choose another venue, this should be the only place on your list!!!

We could write a novel about how amazing Jen & Chicky (our wedding coordinators) were, but nobody likes to read anymore so we're going to keep this short and sweet.
They are literally the BEST at what they do and were so pleasant to work with in every way! The venue was gorgeous, the food was amazing, the service was stellar, and once again, if you want the best wedding event planners you can get, look no further than Jen & Chicky and the rest of the staff at Boca Lago Golf & Country Club! I started to plan my sons wedding a year ago. It was Nov. 5,2022, From start to finish Jen Marden, the caterer was honest and I would say very amazing!!! She answered all my calls and solved all my issues. I would do another affair there because of her. The people who work here are very nice, A few that I remember was Dave and Leo. Ok so the day of the wedding what could go wrong. We were supposed to have the ceremony outside and yes you guessed it, it rained 45 minutes before. Had to move everything inside, flowers and all. The staff did a great job and the inside was beautiful. Shout out to Omas Gardens in Coral Springs too. Thanks for listening. Oh everyone said the food was great and the drinks were flowing. A great time was had by all. Thank you to this wonderful team!!! Love to all -

We had our daughter’s wedding at Boca Lago Country Club this weekend.(5/29/2022)
We were so happy with our experience and we will be recommending it to all of our friends and family!
Jen Marden was awesome! She was so sweet, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She helped us with every aspect of our event. She was at the rehearsal dinner and the entire wedding day and night! She was on top of everything! It made us feel much less stressed knowing that everything would be great for our daughter’s special day.
Our guests have been complementing how elegant and fun the wedding was! They all said that the food was the best they’ve ever had at an event. From the cocktail hour food. to the dinner(filet mignon, salmon and chicken piccata) , it was all delicious! The service was great and anything we wanted was accommodated.
The Bridal suite was an extra bonus. -

I can only describe my wedding night as most magical evening I've ever experienced. This would not of been able to happen without the help of Jen M, the wedding coordinator and caterer at Boca Lago Country Club. From day one she has been so flexible, so responsive, and only wanted to make sure that my day was filled with happiness and love and everything that I wanted. When I say flexible, we were supposed to get married right before Covid hit, and we had to postpone our wedding three times. She made everything so easy for us and worked with other vendors very well. She referred are amazing florist to us who did a spectacular job. I would highly highly recommend having your wedding at Boca Lago country club. Everything from the beautiful ballroom, the amazing food, cocktails and staff, you will not be disappointed in Boca Lago. -

Large and accommodating venue for our pandemic wedding. Our 73 guests had enough room to social distance and they felt safe. Jen was super prompt in responding to questions (which were a lot) in anticipation. Jen was extremely helpful in every detail going above and beyond. The staff was friendly and kind and the food was delicious. We got so many compliments about every detail and our guests loved the classy ambiance. We loved the option to use the golf carts for the ceremony which made it unique. Also, the option for an outside or inside ceremony depending on weather brought so much peace taking in consideration the unpredictable weather in South Florida. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and super recommend this venue. Thank you Boca Lago Country Club for making our special day dreamy. -

Boca Lago, and especially catering manager/day of coordinator Jen were amazing to work with for my son’s recent wedding. The food was gorgeous and delicious (a surprisingly rare combination for weddings), the renovated ballroom is spectacular, and everything ran like clockwork. Having the bridal party arrive at the outdoor ceremony on golf carts is still being talked about. All in all a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this country club or weddings and all other events. -

Beautiful and easy
I'm not a planner so it was important to us to find a venue that covered as much as possible. Boca Lago was by far the nicest venue we saw. The ballroom is beautiful and really doesn't need any decoration at all. Jen, the event coordinator helped with everything leading up to, during and after the wedding. She responded quickly to every question and request we had, and was flexible with us when we needed to adjust things. Having someone to organize everything was probably the best part, since there were so many details I didn't even think of that needing to be taken care of and she and her team did all of it for us. Food, tables, chairs, linens, alcohol and cake were all included so we didn't have to search for vendors or organize them. We really wanted tacos and pasta since those our some of our favorite foods. Jen arranged our package to include those along with more traditional entrees and sides for our buffet. The food was fantastic and our guests continue to tell us how much they loved it and the wedding in general. -

Jen was very patient, collaborative, down and understanding. She went above and beyond to ensure everything went well. The venue is beautiful and the food is absolutely amazing. Chef Balthazar understood my vision and he delivered more than expected. Overall this place was worth every Penny we spent. -

This place is great!! They include just about anything and everything in your package deal!! I really wanted to have my wedding here because the staff was amazing, the food is delicious and the gulf course view was just beautiful! Unfortunately they didn’t have our date and my fiancé preferred a city view but this place is worth it! -

Everything that I thought I wanted they made it happen! Jen is amazing! Every detail was executed without any hiccups! Wow, just wow! Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Boca Lago/Jen was absolutely amazing in helping plan and organize everything! Very responsive throughout the whole wedding process! Boca Lago provided a ton of decorations for us to use. Getting ready rooms for bride and groom were also a plus! Food was absolutely incredible (our guests are still talking about the food)! My Wedding at Boca Lago was absolutely fabulous! Jen was "THE BEST" Venue coordinator. She was super patient, professional, and responsive the entire time. This is a huge, dealing with my Type "A", very specific personality! Boca Lago blew me away with their flexibility, especially when it came to customizing my Jamaican Style Menu and my request to repurpose items in my package. The Package is great if you plan on utilizing everything in the package. I didn't know when choosing this venue what my final colors would be and my décor ideas. Non of the chairs and table clothes matched my final décor ideas, but I was able to repurpose those items for my Cocktail hour which worked out perfectly. I also did not care for the Vendor who does the Wedding Cake, but I was able to get compensated for this as well. Every staff member from Jen Marden (Catering & Special Events Manager), to Dave (Facilities Manager) to the Chef and Front Desk Staff, where always super professional, friendly and so accommodating.
My Guest raved about how beautiful the Wedding was and how good the food tasted. Due to a coordination conflict my Wedding started 2 hours late, the Boca Lago staff was very accommodating to my guest as they waited on the SUPER late Bride. I highly recommend working with Jen and her team to coordinate your "Day of" Event Coordination as I worked with an out side vendor for my "Day of" Event Coordination and it was very unorganized.
I will always highly recommend Boca Lago for a Wedding or Event. It is an amazing Venue!!

My husband and I got married at Boca Lago last month. With all of the uncertainty due to COVID, we decided to go through with our wedding after extensive meetings and discussions about safety measures. We are so happy we did, because it was literally a storybook wedding! All of our guests keep talking about how beautiful and perfect it was. Boca Lago’s event coordinator, Jen, is extremely nice and easy to communicate with. They were amenable to our requests and helped make everything perfect. Of course, there were a few things we could not keep as planned which was disappointing but due to COVID and out of everybody’s control.
The ceremony was outside on the golf course beside a lake which was especially great during this time because there were several guests who weren’t quite comfortable staying for the party but came to sit or stand outside and watch our ceremony. They allowed our coupled wedding party to arrive at the aisle on golf carts as planned which everybody loved!
Boca Lago did a great job accommodating us during cocktail hour, keeping all of the pass-arounds we wanted, portioned on individual plates for our guests. They had large 12 seat tables in the reception ballroom so every couple/family had plenty of safe space. The ballroom is large, open and spacious, with doors leading out to the pool area/outside cocktail hour area and large windows overlooking the lake and fountain.
They had bars set up in the ballroom and allowed us to keep the main cocktail room bar operating too, so everybody had plenty of space and nobody needed to congregate in a crowded space. Jen and the event staff did a phenomenal job decorating our welcome table, cake table, and the dinner tables- everything was just beautiful!
Most of all, we were able to have a safe, beautiful, and very fun wedding. Boca Lago did a fantastic job giving us the most special day we will never forget. We highly recommend Boca Lago for your wedding or party venue! -
