Beautiful and Affordable

Let me start by saying I was having a difficult time finding the right wedding venue for our needs as many places were already booked. I got in touch with Cameron and he was super helpful from day one.

He allowed me to come an hour early to set up our wedding with my bridal party and ensured he was there for the bartender and DJ to set up while we attended our ceremony.

Things went super smooth the day of. There was a minor issue with the elevator but without asking or before we could complain he took appropriate action. Things happen and he handled it properly.

The venue was beautiful and the location was top notch. Highly recommend.

August water wedding

This space is just absolutely gorgeous! The reception area is perfect for big or small events. The area for the ceremony is perfect, a little too sunny, not too much shade but perfect nonetheless. Perfect backdrop of water, boats, bridge, and sky rise buildings. Just absolutely perfect! Cameron was a breeze to work with, he was attentive, responsive, answered all of my questions, didn’t hesitate with anything, made recommendations. He definitely helped make my experience as stress free as possible!! Thank you so much for everything!

The venue was clean when we enter the staff was awesome.. My son his getting married next year I definitely will be booking this venue again

The location is beautiful specially, if you-looking to have a outside wedding and the staff is awesome.

Boca Ciega Ballroom is an absolute gem! The venue is stunning, right on the water, offering gorgeous views without the worry of the sun in guests' eyes thanks to the perfect amount of shade. The space itself is large and an incredible value for the price. Cameron, the venue coordinator, was a dream to work with—super responsive and always answered questions within 24 hours. If you're looking for a beautiful, affordable waterfront venue with top-notch service, this is the place! I loved having my ceremony and reception here.

I had a pleasure booking this venue for my wedding reception, Cameron was really great he assisted me with all my reception needs, he definitely went over and beyond for me and my husband I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone, last but not least the VIEW is everything 🫶🏾

Best Venue Hands down

This is a hidden Gem. The views are breath taking and the ballroom is the perfect space for a wedding/baby shower or any other event. I was so excited that I had my event there. The price is very affordable.

Beautiful & So Helpful

St. Pete Beach Community Center is beautiful and has lots of space. The staff are very helpful and easy to work with and communicate. We called so many times with questions and they were always kind and quick to get back to us. They were flexible helping us when plans changed.

Beautiful Venue & Views

I had my wedding at St. Pete Beach Community Center February 2020. This venue is incredible and highly underrated. I had toured 5+ venues before this one and couldn't pass up the views and the ability to bring in all your own rentals/food/etc. You have full flexibility to make it your own and bring your vision to life at a fraction of the cost. I would 100% recommend this venue to any future brides!

After spending days looking for the perfect venue we decided to use Saint Pete Beach Boca Ciega Ballroom! The front office was very easy to work with throughout and very accommodating the day of our wedding. We feel that they went above and beyond and highly recommend you have your wedding here! Thank you so much!

Tyler was great! Very helpful and flexible! Everything was setup the night before and he allowed us to even decorate some things the night before. Beautiful venue!

I'll admit I was apprehensive when we went to visit the SPBCC as a venue but upon arriving we were blown away. We had a church wedding so our cocktail hour was held outside where most people have their ceremony and then went to the room upstairs for the reception. During cocktail hours, there were dolphins in the bay - blowing away all of our guests who are mainly from the north. The views, even from upstairs were breathtaking. The room comfortably fit our 115 guests as well as an 8 piece band. The waitstaff was able to move around comfortably to serve dinner. The room got quite warm at one point with all the dancing but they were able to turn up the AC for us to make it cooler. With the money we saved from booking this venue, we were able to spend a little extra to bring in some nice decor to help liven the room. All of our vendors had no problem cooking, preparing, etc. in the venue.

I got married at the Boca Ciega Ballroom on 4/30/17. The fact that is was a blank canvas allowed my vision to come alive. You can’t be the pricing and the view was spectacular for our outdoor ceremony. Having a “beach” themed wedding without dealing with sand made it a truly memorable moment.

I am so glad that we booked the Boca Ciega ballroom for our wedding venue we had went to a few places before we found this one even though the other places were on the cheaper side I love this place more because of the parking that you didn’t have to pay for and the openness of the space and the fact that you didn’t have to share your venue space with the food set up, loved that we had the bar and cocktail hour on the wrap around balcony and just loved the ocean view perfect for the view of the ocean with out the sand for my formal none beach wedding ceremony, the faculty is well taken care of, the staff is always friendly and took care of us also provided us with vender suggestions and was always responsive with the emails for questions or concerns we had. I also loved this venue bc I’ve been to at least 5 weddings in the past year and everyone would do it at the clearwater Rec or another common place so I wanted to be different and do something no one else did and I’m glad we did everyone loved our wedding and now that our wedding is over with a lot of people are booking there weddings here thanks again for a beautiful location would definitely recommend St Pete Beach Community Center as a wedding venue !!!!!

Our wedding ceremony was downstairs on the intercostal which was perfect and exactly how I’d pictured and the Boca Ciega Ballroom was perfect for our wedding reception! It was absolutely beautiful and we had plenty of room for our guests. Stephanie was wonderful to work with as well. She was very responsive, reassuring and helpful! I would definitely recommend the St. Pete Beach Boca Ciega Ballroom if you want a beautiful scenery and spacious venue to accommodate your guests and vendors!

Stephanie was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was very quick in getting back to me with any questions I had and made sure that everything was ready to go for our big day! The facility is a beautiful clean/neutral slate that overlooks Florida's inter-coastal waterway and is especially pretty to family/friends coming from out of town. Once we toured the Boca Ciega Ballroom, we instantly knew there was no other place that we wanted for our wedding reception! I highly recommend the Boca Ciega Ballroom in the St. Pete Beach Community Center for your wedding or celebration needs!!!

Boca Ciega Ballroom is worth every penny you spend. The views are amazing. Sunset is just gorgeous. The biggest selling point for us is that we were able to bring our own caterer and you can do serve own alcohol (as long as it isn't a cash bar). The venue supplies you with chairs and tables, which will save you money in renting.

Stephanie is very accommodating and will answer email or phone calls pretty quickly.

We didn't need the full 10 hours, but we had a blast. Our Alter broke and they helped to fix it. They went above and beyond to help us get setup. If you are nice to them, they will be nice to you!

The main rule is that if you want to use something you have to clean it up. They have a list of things not to do or use, but most of the things on the list are common sense. This is a great option for those on a tight budget. Go here!! Save money that you would spend somewhere else on your honeymoon.

This was the PERFECT venue for our wedding reception. Stephanie was amazing from the beginning of the process all the way through the day of the wedding. I had issues the week of the wedding that needed to be solved and Stephanie was right there to guide me through the chaos. The location is beautiful and my out of town guests loved being right on the water. I could not believe that such a gorgeous venue would be so affordable! I definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the Saint Petersburg area.

We just had our daughter's wedding on 4/16/16.The place is AWESOME,GREAT VIEWS OF THE WATER.We cannot say enough,
beautiful and the price is right.Stephanie is the girl in charge and without her,we would have been lost.I think we went
out there once a month for the last year to check on things.She was like family,never acted like we were bothering her.
This past weekend,one week after the wedding,missing her,we were so used to going out there,poor Stephanie!!

We loved everything about this venue from the moment we went and toured it with Stephanie. She is delightful to work with and the venue has everything we were looking for - a water view without the sand, outdoor area for cocktail reception, lobby area for bar and other tables and a nice walkway for the sparkler send off. They also allow you to work with your own vendors which is a huge cost savings.

I found this location via wedding wire and thankfully I did because this is the best place to have your wedding! I was on a pretty tight budget and honestly I did not think this place would be affordable as it is located near St. Pete Beach. Stephanie was very easy to work with and provided us a list of caterers and local vendors and recommended the nearby Blind Pass Resort (in which my guests loved staying at!) This place is a real hidden gem and if you're looking for just a rental venue where you can bring your own vendors and caterers, book this place as soon as possible because this place is becoming more and more well known!

This Venue was awesome. It was on the water and had the entire building to ourselves. Stephanie was very helpful, kind and awesome to work with. The ceremony was overlooking the water, and although it was quite chilly and windy ( I got married on cold snap weekend) it was beautiful. The venue set up all the chairs and tables for both the ceremony and reception, which was held upstairs. One of the best parts is we were able to bring in our own food and alcohol and did not have to pay those hefty caterer fees for food and drinks. It was a wonderful wedding and every aspect we were able to make it out own. I would Highly recommend this for a venue for a wedding or reunion or even a gathering.

We had our wedding on 5/23/15 here at the St. Pete Beach Community Center and it was absolutely lovely. We chose it because it's on the water without the mess of sand, and we were able to bring in our own food and alcohol. So many places in St. Pete have "preferred vendor lists" but this one allowed us to do whatever we wanted! The little area in front of the water is perfect for an outdoor ceremony, with the water, bridge, and boats in the background. We held our cocktail hour underneath the building, which still has the view of the water but is shady and kept the guests from the ballroom upstairs. The ballroom is huge, the bar is a decent size, the wood floor is very pretty, and most of all the giant window facing the water gave us a beautiful backdrop. Stephanie was very accommodating, always replying to emails quickly, and the place was very clean. We were able to get in at 9 am and stay til midnight, despite technically paying for 10 hours. Our guests loved it; we got a lot of compliments. We highly recommend it for the ceremony and reception!

We chose the SPBCC because they allow you to chose outside vendors and because we loved the beautiful setting on the water! The ceremony and reception were both beautiful. The porch was perfect for an outdoor cocktail hour. The venue was very helpful and accommodating, and we were able to have a rehearsal the day before.

This was such a beautiful location for a wedding! I was worried that it would look too much like a community center, but my AMAZING coordinator, Susan from "Catering by Robert" transformed the center with the help of Conrad from A1 Foliage. The ceremony was gorgeous and the bridal party was able to come off the Jolley Trolley to walk down the aisle! Our DJ set up sound for the ceremony downstairs, played some fun island music during the social hour on the patio, and we had plenty of room on the dance floor with 12 round guest tables. We had 110 guests attend.

I was worried about the ceiling and floor looking too community center-like, but the plants Conrad chose for the columns with uplighting had everyone focused on the gorgeous view from the ballroom. Even though our wedding wasn't until 5pm, we paid for the 10 hour option to give us access to the venue all day! Vicki BeachAngel helped with our ceremony and back-up coordination. Vicki worked with Stephanie at SPBCC to get us access before the holidays to store most of our wedding swag, scheduled our rehearsal the night before (free and easily scheduled), AND Vicki was there in the morning to coordinate drop offs with my family & vendors. It was completely stress free on my end on the day of my wedding!

We stayed at the Sunset Vistas, so we did a "first look" picture before the ceremony and got those great beach wedding photos without the hassle of a beach wedding! Elevator worked great for guests who couldn't do stairs and everyone complimented me on the choice of venue. I planned the wedding from North Carolina, so I felt like I was taking a risk "sight unseen," but trusted the brides on Wedding Wire. So glad that I did!

We saved SO much by paying 1.50 per guest to have Catering by Robert supply bartenders and mixers. We went all out with our liquor/beer and didn't break the bank! Guests all said the had the BEST time at our wedding. :)

After searching high and low for a wedding venue, we stumbled upon the St. Pete Beach Rec Center. It is a beautiful facility that sits right on the water. The very moment we began touring the grounds we just knew this is where we wanted to hold our ceremony and reception. The staff at the rec center are extremely nice and polite and were open and willing to ensure our special day was perfect. St. Pete Beach Rec was the most affordable venue that allowed us to stay within our budget. Our ceremony was held outside between the two main buildings and the reception was in the main room of the rec center. The gorgeous views from the windows of the rec center gave our reception a very nice backdrop. Our caterers have worked with this venue in the past and it was very simple to connect all parties the day of. We were very pleased with this venue and it is highly recommended.

This location set the theme immediately! Blue skies, water front, tropical trees, reception on second floor overlooking the ocean and beautiful white buildings, there was dolphins that appeared at my wedding, simply AMAZING it all fit with my flamenco/tropical wedding. Stephanie was great to work with. She was always there to help me with any questions or concerns. Prices were sweet and very straight forward, no secrets. I also loved the fact that you don't have to have a licensed caterer or bartender. In my wedding I had a friend of a friend that took care of it, and wow did I save! I did however get caterers due to the amount of guest.

Brides, before booking your venue please check this place out, you don't want to regret later!

This was such a beautiful location for a wedding. Their event staff are kind enough to set up all the tables and chairs for you ahead of time.

I always received responses to my emails and phone calls the same day. Thank you for making my wedding day wonderful!

My daughter had her wedding on the evening of Friday, April the 18th. Leading up to the wedding we dealt with Stephanie over at the rec center. Let me just tell you how amazing she is! She was so helpful in every aspect. My daughter was planning her wedding from out of town and it was making everything that much more difficult. Stephanie was very responsive on any question and was there to offer insight and ideas from previous weddings that were held there. Although she went on maternity leave for a couple of months, I still was able get all of my questions answered through the rest of their staff. The venue is gorgeous overlooking the intercoastal, the staff was amazing, and I would and have recommended this venue to others.

We had our wedding at the SPBRC and it was absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to have gorgeous weather despite it being June in Florida - and we received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous the location was and how much they enjoyed their experience. Apparently there were even dolphins jumping in the bay during our cocktail hour! It doesn't get much better than that :)

From my first tour of the venue, I knew I wanted to have our wedding there, The outdoor courtyard was spacious enough to accommodate our guests and overlooked the water (without having to deal with the sand!), and the view was spectacular from the cocktail hour and inside the ballroom as well. Once I confirmed with the groom, it was so easy to reserve my date, put down my deposit, and work with Stephanie throughout the process of planning our wedding. She was quick to respond to every email, and anytime I called, every staff member was pleasant, friendly, and quick to assist. Huge added bonuses included being able to choose my own vendors (which helped enormously with budget) and plenty of parking for all of our guests.

Everything was supplied for our wedding as requested, and all went off without a hitch! I have absolutely no complaints - everything related to the SPBRC was stress-free! What a gem!

Stephanie is awesome and this venue is awesome! My husband and I didn't want a cookie cutter beach wedding or a hotel that pumps out 6/7 weddings per day. This venue allowed us to pick our vendors, decorate it any way we liked and the building is all yours! No mass weddings, no restrictions to design or caterers, you can truly make it your own! They set the bar high! The bay behind the the building is breathtaking! We fell in love with the spot immediately, it is a nice hidden gem in St Pete Beach!

The best decision I could have ever made in my life. Scenery is beautiful of the water the whole building is yours for the best price!! I got so many compliments to my choice and Stephanie is the best of the best !!!

The venue was great. The Boca Ciega room was fantastic. It had a great view of the water. and after the room was setup and decorated it was Beautiful. The staff was great to work with. The only problem we had was that the elevator broke while the vendors were setting up, but they had someone out there to fix it within 30 minutes. I would recommend this venue.

I am so glad we chose to have our wedding at the St. Pete Beach Community Center. This venue is gorgeous! Wrap around balcony and windows overlooking the water, nice ceremony space, and you get to work with the amazing staff. Stephanie was amazing to work with! She was quick to answer any question we had. She had amazing suggestions, that made our wedding just that much better. Although we had rain and tornado warnings the day of our wedding it couldn't have been better or more beautiful. My cousin even booked it as her wedding venue! I would recommend this venue to everyone!
Stephanie, I can't thank you enough for the amazing service you provided us with! We are so grateful we were able to meet and work with you. I can't wait to have more events there!

This was a beautiful setting for an April late afternoon wedding. The staff was professional, courteous, and accommodating. We had a few changes in the set up of the ballroom once we started decorating the tables. Dan was very accommodating in making the small change.

We had plenty of room for our 100 guests, DJ, Photo booth, sweetheart table, cake table, gift table, beverage table, appetizer and food tables. The dance floor was large enough for everyone to dance.

With this venue sitting on the intercoastal waterway, the view is beautiful from all views, and you don't have to deal with the sand.

This venue was amazing for our November wedding! We wanted to have a waterside ceremony but not in the sand so we opted to the inter-coastal side and I could not be happier. This truly is a hidden gem. The views that you get from the water at night and even during the ceremony with the bridge in the background are very unique and give you a sense of truly being on the water. The staff at the center were helpful from start to finish and this venue is very affordable. You do have to bring in your own caterers and bartenders so this is a perfect venue for the DIY bride. I would highly recommend this venue to ANY bride :) I couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding. It is very convenient to have the ceremony downstairs and then your reception right there upstairs. We had about 140 guests and we all fit comfortably! Perfect!!!

From start to finish, the experience of renting the community center was great. I believe Stephanie is THE most "reachable" person. On task with every question, concern, ect., very professional, yet approachable. Day of wedding ceremony and reception all chairs in place for ceremony, all tables and chairs exactly placed as we asked for the reception, even the room temperature was perfect!!!! Facility VERY CLEAN. Only comments we and our guests had were positive! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!.

I couldn't have asked for a better location to hold my wedding reception! The St. Pete Beach Community Center was perfect. We didn't want to spend a ton of money on renting a location when there were so many other expensive things we had to think about. I also wanted a really pretty location that I didn't have to spend a ton on decorating. We worked with Stephanie who was great! She answered all our questions and was always willing to let us come by to try out our tablecloths, or set up our centerpieces or test out our floor plan so we could get an idea of how everything would fit. I would definitely recommend this venue!

Pictures do not show how pretty this venue is. My wedding photos turned out amazing due to the awesome view and scenery. The wedding planner Stephanie is very professional and prompt. Wonderful experience working with her and could not have been happier!

The St. Pete Beach Community Center was the first venue my husband and I looked at to get married. We fell in love with the place immediately. We were expecting 150+ people at our wedding, in which we needed a large venue, easy access for disabled family members, and a place that offered an area for both the ceremony and the reception. The St. Pete Beach Community Center offered everything we needed. When we first booked the venue, we booked it with Kelly, but a few months later Stephanie DelMonte took over coordinating and she was excellent! We went to the venue several times to conjure ideas, and measure the upstairs patio. We measured all the railings, so for future brides the railings were a total of approximately 334 ft long. We had our dress rehearsal at the venue, and while we were rehearsing there were dolphins swimming in the bay. Which completely shocked our wedding party, and sold them on the place. The venue turned out absolutely beautiful with our colors in red, black, and white! I was really happy, though I wish we could have had our reception run later (because of city limits we had to be completely cleaned and out by 12:00 am), but I don't think I would have lasted that long anyways. For those brides who want a feel of the beach without the sand, this venue is perfect! I couldn't of asked for a better venue!

This place was amazing! The venue was beautiful and a perfect location. Everyone raved about how much they loved the view and venue. Stephanie, the contact for the venue, was so helpful. I read the contract wrong and thought we had until the day of the event to pay in full. I had budgeted everything to make payments on things all the way through to the week before the event. However, it is suppose to be paid by the month prior. When I talked to her and told her the mistake she allowed us to make payments all the way through to the week prior. We had a lot of "life happens" things during our engagement so we ended up having a lot less money than we expected. If she hadn't worked with me, we wouldn't have been able to have the wedding there! They really are great!

Working with the staff at the St. Petersburg Beach Recreation center was very helpful. I did not have a planner and they helped me out tremendously with the many questions that I had. The day of the staff was amazing in helping to set up and clean up. The place is beautiful and all my guests were amazed by the setting of it all. I highly recommend getting married here! I'm so happy I did and couldn't imagine any where else in St. Pete that would compare.

Let me just say absolutely beautiful!! We had originally went with the Grand Plaza on St. Pete beach but quickly found out how much of a wedding mill it was and how badly we were treated there. We decided to move to the community Center and was the best thing we did!!!!This venue on the waterway for the price was exceptional. All of the staff was friendly and especially Stephanie. She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with! The only thing I wished we could of done was candles and our Smores bar. All in all I wouldn't of changed anything with this venue for the world! I would recommend any bride to have their wedding here or any party. We are considering using it for birthday parties in the future!!

The St. Pete Beach Community Center is a perfect location for a wedding. We wanted to incorporate a tropical theme in our wedding and the Community Center was a beautiful location to do so. The tropical landscape and water provided a beautiful backdrop to our wedding in the courtyard area. The upstairs balcony was a fun place for our guests to hang out during cocktail hour and the ballroom was great for our reception. We had approx 120 guests, with 15 round tables (provided by the Comm Center), a DJ booth, large dance area, buffet, full bar, sweatheart table and small cake table, and there was plenty of room for everyone.

Stephanie from the Community Center was so great to work with - she was very accomodating in our requests and had alot of helpful suggestions. She also worked with us in using their other rental property, the Warren Webster Center in Pass-A-Grille, for our rehersal dinner location. That also worked out perfect, as we had a welcome BBQ for all of our out of town guests. It was a casual fun party, and the location was great for our 100 guests at the rehersal dinner.

The St. Pete Beach Community Center is a wonderful location for a wedding - it's great with the type of wedding and budget you need to stay in, is beautiful location on the water, great being able to use your own vendor team, great location at the beach and close to tons of hotels for out of town guests.

If you are looking for a beautiful place to have a wedding and reception.... you need to look no further! We had the most beautiful wedding that I have personally ever been to! The location is absolutely perfect. Its located near the beach, hotels, restaurants and stores. We were looking for a location that we could have the ceremony and reception at the same place so that our out-of-town guests without cars would not have to travel around from place to place. The ceremony area by the bay was larger than you think! We had 150 chairs and could have accommodated more people than that comfortably! After the ceremony the guests went upstairs to the bar inside and hung around out on the balcony during the cocktail hour. We had a steel drummer playing on the balcony which really put a tropical mood to the beautiful view of the bay. The reception room is large and will hold all your guests along with a dance floor area! Of course... the beauty of the place also depends on your caterer/decorator. We had a GREAT one (Catering by Robert)!! Thanks to Stephanie from the Community Center for working with us and helping us to have the wedding of our dreams!

This Venue at the St. Pete beach Community center is such a gem. We had are wedding ceremony on the seawall and the reception upstairs in the ballroom you can do so much or nothing at all to make this venue beautiful. Stephanie DelMonte the Events and Marketing Coordinator was so helpful and her response time was so efficient and she was a pleasure to work with. I love this venue and it was so nice to have my wedding here!

I would give 10 stars if I could! You can enjoy the beauty of being on the water without having to brush off sand. This was ideal for us! It's beautifully paved, landscaped and maintained. Even in February, it looked great! The ballroom upstairs has an entire glass wall overlooking the water and a great outside balcony wrapping around about half the room. My guests LOVED the outdoor space (also where we had cocktail hour.) It's really stunning! The room is spacious - we had 16 tables, DJ, large dance floor, photo booth, cake table, and gift table and not one bit of feeling cramped. There's additional space and rooms behind the ballroom that were extremely helpful to my vendors for equipment, caterer for food and setup, as well as my guests for storage and baby items, travel cribs, etc. The room rental came with all tables and 150 chairs...renting all of that individually isn't cheap. You can't beat the price on this venue for what you get.

Communication was always polite and prompt. They were flexible with having a rehearsal on a Friday night for the wedding on Saturday. I never encountered one single problem or issue with the venue even with a change of hands regarding who was handling my wedding plans...it was absolutely seamless from Kelly to Stephanie and Stephanie is an absolute sweetheart. I can't say enough about this venue. This hidden gem was the greatest suggestion someone made throughout my entire wedding planning!

My fiancé and I had searched high and low for the perfect beach front property for our unique vintage florida wedding. We didn't want to have our guests trolling though the sand, but still a beach feel, one location for our ceremony/cocktail hour/reception and with a guest in a wheelchair we needed something that was able to fit several different bills. I found this site from a wedding blog and fell in love with it! We visited the site during a mini bridal show that they had and even though the weather that day was rainy and cold we instantly knew it was our place! That week we booked our date and didn't look back. They were great to work with and they recently purchased another 50 chairs for the outdoor wedding ceremony area which was a great early wedding present for us to not have to rent the addition chairs as some reviews mentioned. It was nice to be able to bring in our own vendors as each has their own flare for every wedding. The bathrooms are roomy and the elevator was great for grandparents and our handicapped guest. I did feel like it was a little pricey for the room rental but when you look at other options in the area we felt it was the best deal around. AND you CAN'T BEAT THE VIEW! Unless you see it for yourself you don't know what you are missing! - OH and the parking was great! We had about 100 guests with at least 50 cars and there was plenty of room in the lot!

A beautiful location for a wedding!! All my guests were amazed by the view. The ceremony was downstairs in the courtyard with amazing views reception was upstairs. Great location, very convenient .....we were able to slip away for some romantic photos on the beach while our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour. AWESOME place to have your reception. Kelley Poole is AMAZING!!!!! She was an Angel to me, answering all of my questions and helping us find vendors. The St Pete Beach Community Center could not have been a more perfect setting for our wedding. I was so happy to find a beautiful location that was by the water, but not on the beach. In the courtyard, we were able to have a formal ceremony with a beachy feel. They provided 50 chairs for the ceremony, which cut down on the number of chairs we had to rent.
The reception area was equally perfect. I love the full wall of windows overlooking the Intercoastal during dinner.
The venue was very clean, nice restrooms, and easily accessible for the elderly and small children. They also provided a bridal room, as well as a room for the groomsmen to be in before the ceremony. The prices are very reasonable for all that you get. Kelley does a great job of coordinating everything before the big, and she was so helpful with all of my questions. I also hired her to coordinate the ceremony, which she did a great job of.
I have no complaints about this awesome venue!

Just a note to tell you how pleased we were with the St Pete Beach Community Center as a site for son and now daughter-in-law's wedding this past Saturday. I can't tell you how many guests complimented us on the venue and remarked how gorgeous the setting was - and they were right!

We really appreciated being able to drop off centerpieces, etc. on Friday. It proved a huge help and allowed us time to help the caterer set up between the ceremony and reception. Parking was plentiful and the room was beautiful. The room stayed cool and comfortable throughout the party even with lots of dancing! The lighting options and ease of accessing them was great and we were able to dim and raise the lights as needed during the party. We appreciated having access to the entire center as it gave the wedding party some privacy before the reception and of course, we were able to have the children in a private room supervised by counselors, which worked out great for the kids and their parents who were attending the reception.

The room was set for a full 180 people but by putting the buffet in the lobby and the bar on the patio we had a plenty of room for a well used dance floor.

Thank you for your help and that of your staff. We had a wonderful experience with your venue.

The venue was gorgeous! I absolutely loved having a beachy wedding without having to deal with the sand (think women in heels, elderly family members, etc). Having the ceremony and reception all at one location really extended the amount of time we had for the reception which was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. Kelley was quick to respond to emails and I actually hired her company Tickled Pink to do my day of coordination and they did an AMAZING job.

The one complaint I had were that 2 of the tables did fall. It was after dinner and during the dancing so it was not a big deal. One someone bumped into pretty hard, the other - we're still not sure how it fell. Just be aware of that. Even though the tables fell -we still had an amazing night and I would definitely recommend the venue.

This venue is a hidden gem in St. Pete Beach. The venue is located right on the water and Kelly the wedding coordinator was so helpful. The space was perfect for 140 guest with plenty of room.

The St. Pete Community Center is a beautiful location hands down. Since we'd used the facility earlier for a graduation party, it was the 1st choice for my daughter & her future husband. Kelly & the staff were kind and helpful from the very beginning. We were/are a group that had a lot of questions. Throughout all of our planning, we were NEVER made to feel that our questions were too much or imposing. Our questions were answered kindly, patiently and they even made helpful suggestions. I would recommend this facility to anyone and this staff I applaude.

We had both our ceremony and reception here at the St. Pete Beach Rec Center. Everything was perfect. The venue was very clean and there was someone on hand that the caterer could call when we needed anything. Such a beautiful place for a romantic wedding. Esp. if you want the beach wedding feel with a little more class and less sand in between your toes : ).

I was in awe of the beautiful view from this venue. The ball room was huge, and very clean. The consultant Kelley Poole was very accommodating. Great experience!!! I highly recommend this venue for a perfect Florida wedding. Be prepared to work though--it isn't a venue that does all the fine touched for your. I recommend hiring an event designer/decoratoe like Brighten Interiors--Beck and Mary 727-656-7010 or 727-492-8918. They are fabulous!

Our wedding isn't until May of 2016, but so far I've had nothing but great experiences. Stephanie has been super helpful and always quick to respond to my emails. My vision for my wedding was to have it on or by the beach and this is a perfect venue for that for a great price! Also recently the floors have been redone and its made the ballroom look so much more classy.
I can't wait to to get married at this beautiful place!

My October 5th wedding wedding was held here. I loved it the venue. My only issue was there was no a/c in the room I got ready. Every time I called I was helped and didn't feel like a bother. Stephanie is over the weddings and is also very nicem . deposit was mailed out with a week or 2.

**Review for the Warren Webster Building:
I was referred to Stephanie Delmonte when inquiring about planning my beach wedding. Stephanie informed me about the Warren Webster Community Center. We had a look at the building and it was definitely what you would expect for a community center, but it had SO much potential. The location was perfect for what we had in mind, and the price was great! The building even has a large kitchen for the vendors to use. I hired decorators to go in on the day of my wedding and with some curtains, twinkle lights, and creativity, the place look absolutely stunning! I couldn't believe it was the same building when I walked in! DON'T overlook this place! It was perfect for my weekend getaway wedding at the beach!! I will send them pictures to hopefully post on the website so you can see the potential!

If you are looking for a beautiful venue and are on a budget look no further. The community center is amazing! It has a great view right on the water. The staff I worked with, Stephanie, was amazing! She walked us through different ideas and provided us with venders she knew were good that have been there and know the layout. Our wedding was amazing! The only issue I had was we had bows tied to the chairs outside, and we have yet to find them. The person who cleaned up the chairs outside put them in a clear trash bag near the stairs instead of putting them in the room with the other wedding stuff to go home. So we lost those, but no big deal. All and all a perfect day and I would recommend them again and again. Great price, great view, great staff!

St. Pete Beach Community Center is nestled at the north end of St. Pete Beach along the Corey Causeway with a stunning view over the Intracoastal Waterway. The Facility is large and modern with a wall of windows to overlook the water. Two sets of large double doors open to a second story patio for outdoor mingling under the lights of the Causeway Bridge. The staff set the room up exactly as I'd mapped it out and were very professional. I'd recommend St. Pete Beach Community Center!

Amazing views!!!

This is a wonderful venue for a wedding. The waterfront view and large veranda have to be the best parts. I got gorgeous pictures and there was no sand to worry about. The price was very affordable for a place big enough to accommodate up to 180 people. My favorite part about renting this venue for my reception is that I could use my own caterers! Many other wedding venues require you to buy a whole package. There is plenty of parking available and additional large rooms for changing and so on.

Boca Ciega ballroom

This is the most amazing venue and the price was fantastic! It was so gorgeous to be on the water and such a perk to be able to get married at the same place. Only complaint is the air shut off in the middle of the event and by the time we realized it it was to late to change it. So we were all incredibly hot. But other than that I would still choose all over again!

Stephanie the wedding coordinator is awesome. She walks you around the venue and will set up repeat visits if needed. She answers emails and phone calls within a reasonable amount of time. The venue is absolutely amazing. You have option of getting married with the outside with a view of the water (on a channel) without getting messy and sandy like you would at the beach. The. You go upstairs where there is an area for cocktail hour under a shaded pavilion. The ballroom is beautiful with high valued ceilings and upgraded wood floors. There is a small kitchen a room for both groom and bride along with bridal party rooms and an extra room that catering can use. My groom and I fell in love with this venue and the bonus we get to rent it from 9am-12pm which is a great thing since we are setting most of it up and tear down. I highly recommend boca ciega ballroom!!!

The venue has a beautiful view and plenty of parking for your guests. It's a nice blank slate to create your vision they way you want your wedding. You can make it fancy or go more simple (which is what I opted for). Stephanie the events manager was great. She sent me emails when things were coming due (payments, seating plans, etc.). She was happy to answer any questions I had (and I could always find a new one). My only complaint was that for some reason their AC switched to a default temp while we were having our ceremony and taking photos and the cake started to melt a little. We had to find an employee to turn the AC back down because they had it password protected (it was digital). But they reset it as soon as we found someone and it cooled back down pretty quickly. I let them know and they said they wanted to make sure it didn't happen to anyone else, so this shouldn't be an issue for any future renters. My family & friends all thought it was a gorgeous location. We had both the ceremony and reception here. They do not have any restrictions on caterers or other vendors (you don't have to use their vendors/caterers etc.). You can't hang anything unless you have a licensed decorator hired though. They provided me a list with recommended vendors that have worked with them before, but it was purely recommendations, and I did use one of their recommended mobile bar services. All tables and chairs were provided and set up by the venue as well, I just had to cover them. Overall, I would most definitely recommend this venue to another bride. It's beautiful!

Great location. Easy parking, on the water [no sand] and no nosy tourists! Had my cocktail hour in the courtyard and reception in ballroom. Not sure if A/C was fully on or just too much dancing as it did get hot inside but there was plenty of space and dance floor for 150+ guests.
