Hidden gem of the Keys! Don’t order your cake from the venue. You’ll be missing out! Best wedding cake ever. Very friendly staff and you get a whole cake during your tasting. Make sure and try the key lime cake and icing. Out of this world!!!! Will definitely be back for breakfast and treats when we return. -

used this vendor for our wedding cake and key lime tartlets. WOW, never scene a wedding cake or key lime mini tartlets disappear so fast in my life. People were going back for 2nds and even thirds. Bob's bunz did amazing design for our carrot/wedding cake with eadable starfish and sea shells on top. What a cake!!!!!!!!! And if you need a great breakfast spot, that is top notch also. Warning, there bunz are ADDICTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

Gloria from Bob's Bunz is amazing!! She was so helpful from beginning to end and responded to my emails in such a timely manner. Our wedding was a destination wedding and Gloria did everything she could to make it perfect. The key lime cake was so delicious and our guests absolutely loved it. We also got the cinnamon bunz for breakfast the day of the wedding and the key lime cookies for our welcome bags. Everything was phenomenal! My husband also has several food allergies, and the bakery was more than willing to accommodate him and make something that he was able to enjoy at the wedding. When we got back to Chicago, we had a wedding party for everyone who wasn't able to make it down to Florida and Gloria helped us get their key lime cookies sent up here for the party! I have never had a better experience with a bakery and can't wait to visit Key Largo again so I can get some more key lime cake! Thank you for everything, Gloria! You helped make our wedding day PERFECT! -

We used Bob's Bunz for both our gorgeous wedding cake and our delicious key lime cookie wedding favors. We instantly fell in love with both Gloria and Bob at our initial cake tasting. They are truly the best people! They made us the most beautiful wedding cake for 150 guests. It was key lime cake and white cake with coconut filling and buttercream icing and it was absolutely to die for. The cake was flawlessly decorated with gold bamboo and fresh white orchids. It was truly stunning. The white chocolate key lime cookies were a huge hit as well. Guests were collecting the unopened bags off of tables at the end of the night. Weeks later we are still getting comments and compliments on our cake and cookies! We love Bob and Gloria and will forever be patrons of Bobs Bunz. -

We planned our destination wedding to be had in Islamorada. There wasn't one person in Islamorada and the surrounding area that didn't recommend Bob's Bunz for our wedding cake. They were right. To say this place is amazing would be an understatement. About 11 months before the wedding, we had our cake sampling in a private little area off to the side. Gloria went out of her way to bring out all flavors of cake, fillings and icing. She listened to us, helped us narrow down each flavor (which isn't easy when the bride and groom both love different flavors of cake). We ended up going half vanilla half chocolate cake with coconut filling and almond icing. No regrets. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the cake it. Even after the wedding was said and done, Gloria was kind enough to wrap up our top tier to we could take it back on the plane with us. We just can't say enough about how wonderful everyone is and how much of a blessing it was to have them bake our wedding cake for us! -

Gloria was amazing to work with! Our Wedding cake was Key Lime, with Key Lime buttercream and coconut filling. All of our guests loved it so much. Could not have asked for a more beautiful cake and a sweeter bakery to work with! -

I had wedding cupcakes with a cake on top, the cupcakes were to die for and I am dreaming of another one still, wish there were more left over! I highly recommend the extra time and minimal expense to do a cake tasting and decorating/style interview with Gloria and Bob. Gloria made myself and my fiancé right at home in the cake tasting corner with excellent recommendations. The tasting cake was absolutely fabulous, key lime and chocolate with a coconut buttercream and key lime icing. But her professionalism, attention to detail, respect for our opinions and wishes, personal opinion, reflection on past experiences, and confidence in the perfection of the finished product to be... All added up to a once in a lifetime experience. This venue has the trade down pat and I will be recommending to both locals and tourists to use these services if they are able to. Thank you so much for the experience, and it's not even our wedding day yet! Love the anticipation that is building for the perfect final product! Thank you both Bob and Gloria. -

Being from Illinois and planning a destination wedding for my daughter involved much trust and communication. I made a trip to the Key Largo area and met with several vendors including Gloria from Bobs Bunz. Let me say one thing, "Superb customer service and an instant feeling of trust and confidence that the cake my daughter chose would be perfect." I had the pleasure of doing a cake/frosting tasting while meeting with her and all were absolutely delicious! Over the next several months we stayed in constant communication and Gloria is excellent about a very timely response to all emails and forms of communication. We were provided with an absolutely delicious wedding cake (red velvet and almond cream topped with buttercream frosting)--the cake was surrounded by key lime cupcakes that were also outstanding. We also used the mini key lime cookies they make as table favors. We had so many compliments on it all.
I would also recommend dining there. Homemade cinnamon rolls, cookies, rolls etc. not to mention the great menu selection! Definitely one of my favorites---and trust me I AM PICKY! Good luck to all---you cant go wrong entrusting Bobs Bunz with your wedding cake! -

We went in for a cake tasting to choose our flavors and she really went above and beyond to make sure we were able to try all flavor combinations and packed some up for us to share with our family at home too. Very quick email responses, which is great when you're not local in the Keys and have some questions. Cake was amazing! Exactly how I wanted it to look and taste.. Highly recommend Bobs Bunz! -

Met with Gloria back in December 2014 for a cake tasting. Loved Gloria from the first time I met her. Right away I knew she loved what she does. The effort in making a small decorated cake and so many different frostings. They were ALL delicious. It was very hard to narrow down the choices. My daughter and I still talk about how much we loved her cake and would love to have another one. Bob came out later and met us and he was a delight. Very talented! Did just what my daughter requested! Ordered cinnamon rolls and sticky nut rolls for day after brunch. THE BEST!!! Lots of comments how delicious they were. -

We chose the key lime cake with coconut cream filling and vanilla buttercream frosting. Wow. It was beautiful and delicious! I had more for breakfast the next two days and I normally don't really like cake.
I also ordered a chocolate birthday cake with fudge frosting for an event the day before and it was equally amazing! These guys know what they are doing! -

Gloria & Bob were FANTASTIC!!! They had never done a cake like we requested, but you would have never known it. Our cake came out gorgeous and extremely delicious!! The wedding was on the beach and it was hot out, so they never brought it out until it was time to cut it so it remained beautiful!! -

From our very first planning session, Bob and Gloria were such a pleasure to work with. Our wedding cake was beautiful! It was simple and elegant and exactly what I wanted. Bobs Bunz provided our delicious dessert buffet for our wedding! We had the most amazing key lime pie, cupcakes and double stacked chocolate brownies! Gloria could not do enough to help, also providing us with gluten free alternatives at short notice! The desserts did not last long, we cannot recommend Bobs Bunz high enough! Their breakfast is fantastic too! -

When you work with Bob and Gloria, they make you feel like friends not clients. How many places bake a whole cake for you when you do your cake testing? Bob's Bunz does. They worked together to create a perfect wedding cake for us, as well as a Rice Krispie treat sand castle. Both were absolutely beautiful creations! If you are looking for fillers for goodie bags, be sure to check out their Key Lime Mini Cookies (unless you are on a diet because you will eat the entire bag) and their Cinnamon Rolls too! If you want a relaxed, easy to work with experience on your wedding cake, Bob's Bunz is THE vendor! -

We got our wedding cake through Bobs Bunz and it was amazing. We stuck with our beach wedding theme and went with a key lime cake with vanilla filling & frosting. It was delicious!! Our guests couldn't say enough how yummy it was. I also ordered red velvet cupcakes that were amazing. Our guests also visited this bakery for breakfast while staying in the keys & all raved about how good everything was. Great bakery!!! -

My husband and I were recently married at PCI in Islamorada and we chose Bob's Bunz as our vendor for our wedding cake. Planning a destination wedding from afar, we were not sure where to go for a cake and quickly learned that Bob's Bunz came highly recommended as THE PLACE to go for a wedding cake in the Keys. Well, to say that is an understatement! We set up a time to meet with Gloria and planned a trip down to have a tasting and design appointment, although I have a feeling she would have been just as easy to work with by phone or email. Gloria gave us some books to look through and we showed her things that we liked and didn't like, gave her an idea of what we wanted, and tasted the many cakes, fillings and frostings she had ready for us to sample. We were in heaven! Next, she sat down with us and helped us design our dream cake. It's like she saw our vision, and the cake turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We ended up choosing the Key Lime Buttercream frosting, with Raspberry filling and the Sunset Cake. We were having a beach wedding, so they added starfish and shells made of white chocolate, perfectly colored to our specifications. When the cake was delivered, they set it up on graham cracker and sugar to look like sand (see photo) and our guests commented that it was the coolest cake they had ever seen, but more so, it was the best tasting wedding cake they had ever tasted. We owe that to Bob and Gloria for their wonderful creation! -

Gloria was very easy to work with and they created exactly what we had imagined just from a few pictures. We had key lime and vanilla cake with fudge filling and key lime buttercream frosting, it was amazing! Many people said it was the best cake they had ever had and loved the key lime flavor. The design was wonderful, the coral piping in teal around the cake was gorgeous and very delicate, they made the cake look classic and tropical at the same time. We also gave the guests their key lime cookies as favors which everyone also loved. -

We were lucky enough to work with Gloria from Bobs Bunz and she was fantastic! She was so friendly and always available for our questions. She was patient with us as we were trying to choose flavors and gave us her wonderful input on flavors since we weren't able to taste the cake before our wedding (this was a destination wedding for us). When Gloria found out that my husband was in the military, she was nice enough to give us a military discount which really helped us out! Our cake was absolutely beautiful and so delicious! We had a wedding cake, cupcakes and mini key lime bundt cakes for our wedding at Post card Inn and they were beyond what we were expecting!! Gloria is a delight to deal with and everything went smoothly. Just had our top layer on our one year anniversary and it was still delicious!! We were amazed!!! -

Gloria is an absolute joy to work with, and the treats from Bob's Bunz are delicious! We had a destination wedding in Islamorada and got treats from Bob's Bunz for each part of the weekend. We gave out bags of their key lime cookies in our welcome bags, which everyone raved about (and asked for more). Our wedding cake was simple (key lime with key lime buttercream frosting) and yummy - and they were so amazing to create a gluten-free cake for us as well to accomodate myself and other gluten-free guests! Last but not least, we served their sticky bunz at a farewell brunch, which were also a hit. Would definitely recommend them! -

Gloria, with Bobs Bunz, was outstanding! My fiancé and I appreciated her responsiveness, flexibility, and quirky personality...which made her fun to work with! We ordered 120 cupcakes for our beach wedding on January 18th, 2014...complete with a cupcake tower and adorable white chocolate starfish on top of each cupcake. Our guests RAVED about them! My fiancé and I each tried 2 cupcakes...and they were the perfect consistency and absolutely delicious.
True Story: The day of our wedding was hectic...we had a lot of people running around putting the finishing touches on our wedding venue. We had arranged with Gloria that we would pick up our cupcakes the day of our wedding...and we completely dropped the ball! We forgot to send someone over to pick up our cupcakes the day of our wedding! An hour before the ceremony, my fiancé gave Gloria a call. Luckily, she had already delivered them to our venue because she realized we had forgotten them and didn't want us to miss out on our cupcakes for the big day. Very thoughtful and professional!
Bobs Bunz went above and beyond to make our day special...I wish I could give them 10 stars! If you're having a Keys wedding, we highly recommend Bobs Bunz. Worth every penny. -

Gloria always responded right away and gave us some great suggestions. Our wedding cake was breathtakingly beautiful and tasted amazing as well. You don't always get both. We were also a little late picking up the cookie favors on our wedding day and they were closed...Gloria had the cookies delivered for us at no charge! They are the best!!! -

We had our wedding in Islamorada and based on our venue's recommendation and reviews, we choose Bob's Bunz to make our wedding cake. It was the best wedding cake I've ever had! It not only looked beautiful, it was so delicious. Per Gloria's suggestion, we ordered a half chocolate and half key lime cake with a strawberry buttercream filling and key lime buttercream icing, decorated in edible seashells. It was gorgeous in our pictures and tasted so good that many of our guests had two pieces and kept talking about how good it was. We also got Bob's Bunz famous key lime cookies to put in the welcome bags for our guests. Our wedding guests were raving about the cookies and said they devoured them. We could not be happier with the quality of Bob's Bunz. In addition to being impressed with the quality of the baked goods, I was blown away by the service we received. Gloria was very prompt in responding to me and was so helpful and sweet. She took care of everything for us so we did not have to worry about a thing. She even let us borrow a beautiful silver display tray for our wedding cake! Thank you Gloria and Robert! -

Bob's Bunz is amazing! Gloria was so sweet and helpful from the beginning. She even gave us recommendations for things to do in town and other vendors. I highly recommend coming in for a cake tasting and consultation. Gloria helped us choose our cake and icing, and designed the cake of our dreams. Gloria and Bob went above and beyond with our cake and it was better than what we had imagined. I recommend the key lime cake - it is unbelievable! And if you are staying in town, you HAVE to come in for breakfast! -

Gloria was so great from the first time we contacted her. She made my husband and I feel at home the second we walked in for a tasting. She helped us create the most amazing cupcake tower for our wedding. When we met with her, we told her that my husband's 16 year old cousin loves cake decorating and we were going to have her set up the cupcake tower for us at the wedding. Gloria suggested we bring her in the day before the wedding to show her a few cake decorating tips and show her how to set up the cupcake tower. I did bring her in and Gloria did exactly what she promised. I highly suggest you use Bob's Bunz for your wedding cake. Gloria was a pleasure to work with and provided great customer service! And they make the best cake! -

We ordered a bunch prior to the wedding and packaged a few for our guests to be included in their Welcome Bags--they were a huge hit. We ordered our wedding cake at bobs bunz and it was sooooooooooooooo delicious. Our wedding was a destination wedding so we had to plan everything online. The planning was really easy and every time we had a question we got a response by Gloria within a few hours. The cake looked so pretty and Gloria was working with our florist to pick flowers for the cake which made everything so easy. We could even order our cake topper there and everything was taken care of. Very easy planning, very professional service and super delicious and beautiful wedding cake. The cake was also delivered right to our wedding venue so that we didn't have to worry about that.

As mother of the bride, I was overwhelmed and completely forgot to pick up the dozens and dozens of cookies I had ordered earlier in the week from Gloria at Bob's Buns. I was so appreciative when Gloria herself delivered all the cookies to the wedding/reception site the afternoon of my daughters wedding. We worked with Gloria for our wedding cake and dessert table. I provided Gloria with a picture of cake I found online that was decorated with rock candy. Bob was able to reproduce the cake perfectly! We ate breakfast at bobs bunz the day before our wedding (this was before we knew they were to provide our wedding cake) and the food was very good. The pastries they had there were wonderful.
While the wedding cake was part of the package that we had with Coconut Cove Resort and Marina (where we had our wedding package), we were extremely happy with the results. Since we had an elopement package (just my wife and I), the cake was delivered to the restaurant where we had our dinner after the wedding. The cake was beautiful and very delicious. We would recommend bobs bunz for this service anytime... -

I was recently married on Friday, April 22, 2011 in Islamorada, FL. I had no choice in selecting my vendor for cake at my reception location. I was a little apprehensive about choosing my flavors for the cake and icing however it turned out perfect! The cake was not only beautiful but it tasted amazing! My husband and guests were very happy with the cake!
We did however have a choice in who we waited to purchase items for our sendoff brunch. With a week to go before the wedding I contacted Bobs Bunz and spoke to Gloria Teague. Of everything they provide, she suggested their sticky bunz and that they are the first to go at any breakfast/lunch. Ofcourse I did not order as many as she suggested for the number of guests at our event and just as she said....they were the first to go! Since we catered our own event....we had to go back and order more!! They ofcourse were happy to help on such short notice!!

I got married on June 26th in the Keys and Bobs Bunz made my cake. Gloria and her staff out did themselves as this was the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. We used it as the main decoration/focal point on the ceremony deck. It was made with white cake, raspberry filling, and Key Lime icing. It was absolutely declicious and super fresh! Everyone continues to rave about it. My daughter used Bobs Bunz, as well, at her wedding in 2008 and feels the exact same way!!! -

Bobs Bunz baked our wedding cake and it was perfect! Gloria helped us out a year prior with our cake tasting and was so nice. They baked us a whole cake top with flavors of our choice so we could really get a good tasting. The cake was amazing for the wedding and was everything we wanted. The key lime buttercream made it so good. We even used their key lime cookies as our favors. Everyone kept telling us how good the cake and the favors were. All our guests even ate there for breakfast more than once, and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Be sure to stop at Bobs Bunz when you are in the Keys!! -

Barbara Knowles ordered my cake for me from Bobz Bunz and it was so yummy and beautiful. My groom insisted on a "chocolate chocolate" cake and that's what we got. Barbara worked with Bobz and got us just what we wanted. -

I can't say enough about Bob's Buntz from their delicious sweets to their professional staff, I had nothing but a lovely experience working with them. Especially Gloria who helped me choose exactly what I wanted for our wedding desserts. We chose not to do a traditional cake instead cupcakes and a selection of their cookies. If you are getting married in the Keys the only place to get any of your desserts is Bob's Bunz. Their Key Lime Cake is absolutely Yummy! Gloria you are the best! -

Love Bob's Bunz! They were one of the first vendors we booked & we used them for wedding cake as well as key lime pie tartlets for the welcome dinner. Both were huge hits with our guests! Our cake was gorgeous and the tartlets had adorable little white chocolate shells on top. Tasty too. -

AMAZING! we had to change vendors last minute and Bob's Bunz was able to not only able to accommodate my needs, but they gave me the exact weeding cake i wanted! and in buttercream! which was a problem for our previous vendor. We changed vendors ONE week before the wedding, ad they were absolutely wonderful! they took care of everything and made a beautiful and GREAT tasting cake! thank you! -

Gloria is the contact gal here....and she is amazing!! I mentioned that I loved a picture of one of their cakes (the key lime cake with key lime buttercream frosting---delicious and beautiful, too!) and she set me up just like that! They work directly with your florist to add a few flowers to the cake and they deliver and set up everything. I didn't have to do anything but point and say "that's the one I want!" I would use them again for anything! -

Our cake was procured through our caterer. The cake was delicious!! People are still raving about the cake. It was the best wedding cake I've ever had hands down. The frosting was a whipped buttercream--nice and light and not too sweet. The filling was key lime and was a nice touch to our beach wedding in the Florida keys. Yum!! Oh and the price was extremely reasonable! -

Gloria Teague goes above and beyond in making sure your wedding cake/groom's cake is exactly what you want and perfect. We had key lime & vanilla cake, with raspberry buttercream filling and key lime icing. It was phenomenal, and I can't wait to dive into it again for our one year anniversary. Bob is the best cake maker in all of South Florida!! -

Bob's Bunz was awesome as a wedding cake vendor. Gloria managed the whole process and was extremely quick to respond to all questions with helpful information. We ended up deciding on a key lime and funfetti wedding cake with coconut buttercream filling and key lime buttercream frosting, with white chocolate seashell decoration. The cake was delicious and a big hit with our guests.
We also purchased key lime and white chocolate cookies as a wedding favor, which were incredible - we had a few bags left over, and I continued to enjoy them for more than a week after the wedding - they actually got better with age! One regret of our trip to Florida is not actually visiting Bob's Bunz in person. We will definitely go next time we're in the area! -

If you don't mind tipping in hugs, then see Gloria at Bob's Bunz. She will be happy to accept one or more when you meet her. Gloria was so responsive to my emails and was happy to send pictures of her work, since I couldn't meet with her. She recommended flavor combinations that I wasn't sure about but they worked and everyone loved the beautiful cake we ordered. The ONLY thing that wasn't right was the color of the chantal border but other than that the cake was delicious and we honestly did not care, it looked so good. Thank you Gloria for answering my 30 emails about the cake. I thought I was a pain but you assured me again and again that I was not. That make me feel good. You are wonderful and I will give you another hug when we come back to visit! -

For our wedding, we ordered key lime pies and cupcakes. The cupcakes and the key lime pies were absolutely delicious! And we also had a sunrise mixer (the day before the wedding) and we ordered mini -sticky buns and cinnamon buns also delicious, and we ordered 40 of each, less than 24 hours before and they were extremely flexible and accommodating! -

I would highly recommend Bob's Bunz. The cakes are delicious, moist and very attractive. I came in from out of town so I wish I could have kept more of the cake for later!! It was beautiful and exactly what we had agreed upon. The flowers were placed in a lovely cascade on an offset square cake with a blue chantall ribbon. It was key lime cake and frosting with fudge filling. I really wish I could have had more but adrenaline was going on the wedding day and I could only have a bite. My only complaint (on flexibility) is that the variety of cake flavors/frostings aren't quite as wide as other bakeries (but the ones they have are executed well) and they don't have a ton of modern/fancy styles that you would see in magazines or on the Knot. Ultimately in this environment it doesn't really matter and the value is good.
We also bought key lime pies for a welcome key lime pie for all the guests as well as delicious key lime cookies in bags for our welcome bags- everyone appreciated and loved them!! Very apropos for the area so I would recommend that.
Gloria was great to work with, and the front desk guy is always friendly. My only warning is that if you eat there, there is a waitress who is possibly the most surly I have ever dealt with- avoid the tall lady with the ponytail and ask to move if you're seated in her section. Worst ever. -

Wedding cake was beautiful, moist and delicious! Our dream cake, was near identical to their custom design, so outcome was perfect. Although our choices were communicated later than Gloria would have liked, she remained professional and responsive throughout the process; doing all she could to provide our dream cake. I did make my own cake topper, as this was the only option she felt uncomfortable completing, due to our short timeframe. Bob's Bunz is also a GREAT breakfast/lunch stop. Our wedding guests chose this as their favorite breakfast stop, and highly recommend the bunz!!! -

The cake was good but not great. We had a vanilla cake with raspberry filling but the filling was more of a gel and the cake ended up tasting a little drier than expected. They offered us many options to customize the cake to our tastes so that was a plus, but with the cake being a party of the package with our location we didn't have a lot of say in the ordering. -
