We met Bobby B through some friends who highly recommended him to DJ our wedding. Bobby B was absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! From start to finish, he was friendly, professional, and so easy to work with. Amazing Experience with Bobby!
Bobby was a great DJ! We had an event of about 500 people, and the dance floor was packed the whole night! He seamlessly mixed tracks from different genres keeping the party going all night long. The lights and huge mirror in front of his DJ booth were an awesome addition to the music! His professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire event! He was also very communicative and helpful in the days and weeks leading up to the event. Highly recommend hiring Bobby for any event where you want top-notch entertainment!

No Macarena at this wedding
My main hope for our wedding was that our DJ knew some songs fresher than 10 years old.
We got a recommendation from a friend who is a wedding vendor that Bobby B was the best she had ever seen and that the dancefloor was packed at a wedding she worked alongside him.
Hiring Bobby was the best choice we could have made. From the day we first talked, he put us at ease about the entire thing. During a very stressful time of planning, he made us feel like the music and sound was completely taken care of. I think his catchprase is "don't worry it's going to be great".
For the music, we specifically asked for contemporary dance music-- tech house if you have it. And we got exactly what we asked for! The music was fresh and new and probably not what my grandmother was expecting but fun and just familiar enough to make everybody feel welcome. Bobby cares about the art of DJing, not just being a DJ. He is a proper pro who mixes for real and reads the room-- not something you can say of all DJs who do weddings.
The dancefloor was packed until the end of the night and there was no choice but to continue on at the hastily-arranged afterparty.
Weddings are a lot of work and a lot of stress, but Bobby is a source of stability and FUN-- you can't go wrong.

Best wedding DJ ever!!!!
We had DJ Bobby B as our wedding DJ and he is INCREDIBLE and I absolutely 10/10 recommend him for DJ-ing your event/wedding!
He did a wonderful job with timing, introductions, and announcements. He met with us the week before the wedding and we discussed everything ahead of time and things went super smoothly. We even had a moment where we switched the timeline around for an earlier than expected sunset photo session on the spot due to weather and he was great at being flexible and rolling with the punches. He was very professional to work with.
We wanted to have fun, upbeat music that kept everyone on the dancefloor all night and Bobby B nailed it. He listens to your requests, but at the same time is a true artist and is so great at reading the room and keeping the party going. If you want to have a blast at your wedding, hire Bobby B! I literally did not leave the dancefloor.
My husband and I ended the night with a private dance outside the reception venue in a gazebo, which we were not at all expecting Bobby B to play music for, but Bobby stayed after the reception, brought an amp outside with him, and played our song for us. He went above and beyond for us and was one of the best vendor decisions we made!

Bobby B did such an amazing job at our daughter’s wedding with music and his overall vibe. We communicated our music selection, and he masterfully created a playlist that captured the couple’s genre. He was super helpful with planning the wedding's timeline and easily got our entire guestlist on the dance floor! We added the photo booth during the “week of” and it was a big hit with everyone. My experience with Bobby was 10/10! Bobby was professional, kind, and truly a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our ceremony music was absolutely perfect. I didn’t have a strong opinion on which songs to choose so I left a lot of the choices up to Bobby and he exceeded all of my expectations! We had a very small reception with only immediate family and he treated it as if we had 200 people! He played music that all generations enjoyed. Brides, do yourself a favor and hire Bobby for your wedding. You absolutely will not regret it!

Bobby IS your next wedding DJ. I have worked with Bobby on the vendor side and just had him for our wedding 12/3/22, and there is no one else I would recommend more than the man himself. He’s easy going, extremely polite, and someone you would want to “hang out” with outside of your wedding day. His DJ booth setup is top notch (he actually customized it himself) and it comes with all the bells and whistles. What’s also important/impressive, he actually mixes his music and plays to the crowd he playing for and does not just hit “play”. First Class Wedding DJ
We hired Bobby for our wedding, and he was absolutely first class. First off, Bobby is a super chill guy, very easy to work with. Communication from the very beginning was great, he also sends helpful reminders throughout the process because let’s be honest, wedding planning can get overwhelming. We hired him for ceremony music/mic, cocktail hour, reception music, as well as uplighting. He offered plenty of advice throughout the planning process from past experience which was gladly accepted. He made sure to sit down prior to the wedding and go over the entire day. The day of, everything went perfectly, not a hiccup to be had. We hired Bobby B for our wedding this past weekend and he killed it! We hired him to provide ceremony music, music for the cocktail hour, and music for our reception and everything was fantastic! Communication with him prior to the wedding was great. He was happy to answer questions and always got back to us very quickly. Going through the song sheet was very thorough and he was very helpful and gave us lots of advice for some things we weren't sure on. Everything went so well! Even though we had a smaller wedding, he kept the dance floor full all night long! He played something for everyone, and everyone had a blast. He also provided uplighting for our reception and it was amazing! It lit up the room so beautifully! We received lots of compliments on our DJ after the wedding. We hired Bobby as our wedding DJ and entertainment for the day/night and let me tell you... he did not disappoint! He delivered a party of our dreams. He was so personable, gave a detailed timeline, and ran through every song we chose with us to make sure he had everything that we wanted. There aren’t enough words to describe our experience with Bobby. In a word- incredible! We had Bobby dj our wedding this past weekend, and he nailed it! From our initial meeting, all the way through to our last dance, Bobby was completely on top of everything!! He listened to exactly what my husband and I pictured for our day and executed it perfectly. I’ve had so many people come up to me since the wedding just to compliment my play list… had to give all the credit to Bobby B! He made sure everyone was on the dance floor and stayed out there. His set up is AMAZING! He has a one of a kind dj booth with mirrors and led screens that really elevates any event. We also booked his uplighting and photo booth package. That photo booth was maybe one of my favorite parts of the night. At Bobby’s suggestion, we relocated the camera to the dance floor- it had both picture and boomerang mode, so we got some really fun shots dancing throughout the night. 10/10 would recommend Bobby to DJ your next event! You will not be disappointed!!

Our wedding was July 4th and he was extremely accommodating throughout the entire process with helpful reminders and check-ins to make sure our reception went on without a hitch. He was professional and knowledgeable, keeping us on track with time and our tropical theme.
We made a last minute decision to add an uplighting package and it was 100% worth it. It added SO MUCH ambiance to our reception space.

Exceeded All Expectations!
Bobby DJ'd our wedding reception and he did an incredible job!!! He came recommended from a dear friend (he DJ'd her sister's wedding) and ya'll... best recommendation we received for our wedding!!! He was on time, he provided recommendations on things we were uncertain about, and he offers more than just DJ services! He was professional, friendly, personable, and you can tell he loves what he does, and really wants everyone to have a great time!
We truly cannot say enough good things about him! He kept the party going all night and thanks to him, everyone had a blast!!! He even allowed a last minute change to the end of our night for our final song. I don't even know if he had the song but he played it and we ended the night on the dance floor belting out the lyrics! Thanks to him, our reception was full of amazing memories we'll never forget!!

It’s All About The Dj!
I have been to quite a few weddings where the Dj was average and the party would end early because of the poor quality of entertainment, and I definitely didn’t want that for my wedding! So it was very important to my husband and I to have a really good Dj to entertain our guests, and most importantly, keep them on the dance floor for the entire reception. I searched for a long time to find the perfect Dj, and we found Bobby B. What I really appreciated about him is that he responded promptly to all my emails, he was punctual for our first meeting and our wedding day, and his pricing was very reasonable. We gave him quite the challenge because of our diverse taste in music, and our diverse guest list and he pulled it off without a hitch! Our guests ranged from young to old from all walks of life and backgrounds, and Bobby was able to entertain and keep our guests dancing the whole night including my 75 year old Mother which was truly unbelievable! Bobby had this incredible ability to read the crowd, and his timing on switching the music up to keep our guests dancing was perfect and impressive. It was really important to us that he incorporated our style of music with our guests, and Bobby absolutely delivered. All of our guests enjoyed our reception and stayed the whole night because Bobby B entertained them, and for that we are so grateful and happy. If you are searching for a Dj to host your event, we highly recommend Bobby B. Oh, and I had to share a picture of my Mom taking over the dance floor :)

Superb Ceremony/Cocktail Music and Uplighting
DJ Bobby B beautifully lit up our reception space and provided crisp, clear music for our outside ceremony and cocktail hour.
He was patient with our multitude of questions and quickly responded to each one. He arrived to the venue early and worked well with all vendors in setting up the lighting and DJ station. He performed a seamless transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour. He played all of our “must haves” and kept with our requested vibe.
The uplighting was perfectly placed throughout the venue to create a beautifully romantic space. The uplighting also contributed to stunning pictures captured throughout our reception. Overall, DJ Bobby B was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. We would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone for all music and lighting needs. Again, thank you Bobby!

He Was Wonderful.
We were most fortunate to have had Bobby B DJ at our wedding. He was wonderful to work with in arranging our music and queuing in all the speaking parts. Bobby was most affable, approachable and very humorous throughout the four-hour festive reception. The dance floor was always packed and nothing but smiles could be seen from afar. DJ Bobby B is the premiere wedding DJ and host in the Hampton Roads area hands down. His attention to detail reflects through his professionalism. He provided a lot of options to cater specifically towards my wedding day including photo booth services and full up-lighting packages which makes him a one stop shop. He is extremely professional, prompt, and excellent with communication. He listens to all of your requests and goes above and beyond to make them a reality. Bobby does amazing work customizing your wedding soundtrack from guests entering to your grand enterance to the last song of the night.

Bobby did an INCREDIBLE job with my wedding on Sept 1st! I cannot say enough good things about him! He is so prompt and clear when it comes to communication, since day one. He understood and listened to every word and every request prior to the wedding. For our wedding, since there was more family members than friends, he had to base a bit of the music off of the vibe of the crowd. AND HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! He is fantastic with feeling the crowd and getting them on their feet. He was perfect!
We also got the up lighting and photo booth! Bobby B’s services made my wedding exactly how I wanted it. He knows his stuff! I told him my colors were red and grey, and rocked that up lighting with slight red that made the mood so romantic and fun. The photo booth was perfect, and everyone enjoyed it. All services are totally worth it!!!!

DJ Bobby B was awesome! I was in the bridal party and had a blast. He kept the beats going and if he noticed there wasn’t much interest in a particular song, he subtly transitioned into another song. He's the best. Bobby was our DJ for our wedding at the Cavalier. We were so overwhelmed with other wedding details that at the very, very last minute we put together an incomplete reception songs list and hoped he'd come through with our lack of prep. He was amazing. He didn't stress us and came through more than we could have imagined. The songs were all well timed and picked; he only spoke on the mic when necessary; the lighting he provided was so killllller ; and best of all.....the entire wedding was on the dance floor....the whole night! We had 125 person wedding and everyone swears no one was missing from the dance floor. That's been the most popular comment is that no one has been to a wedding with so many people dancing and having fun the entire night. We're so grateful! We found Bobby through a ton of friend recommendations & let me tell you we were not disappointed. From the start he answered all of our questions & helped us through the whole process so smoothly! He made sure we were more then prepared & all of our details for wedding songs were perfect, he even gave us great suggestions as well. Closer to the wedding we even decided to add on the photo booth & that was by far one of the best choices we could have made! Our guest & ourselves enjoyed that so much & we will forever cherish those fun photos! Bobby B will Bring the Party!
One thing we've heard from so many of our family and friends is that our wedding was FUN and that is all because of DJ Bobby B! From the time Bobby played the first song, our dance floor was full and it did not stop until AFTER the last song - our guests literally cheered for an encore (that's how much fun we were having)!
Outside of keeping the dance floor full, Bobby was terrific to work with. He is super professional and makes a point to respond to all emails within hours.
We also hired Bobby B Entertainment to provide a Photo Booth for our wedding and it was spectacular. Bobby actually ordered a special backdrop for us (as a part of our package) and it was gorgeous and unique. One thing I didn't realize was that the Photo Booth doesn't print pictures just provides them to the guest digitally. It wasn't a big deal to me or my guests, but worth noting if that is important to you.
Overall, I can't say enough good things about Bobby and Bobby B Entertainment! We had the time of our lives dancing the night away and that's all thanks to DJ Bobby B.

We hired DJ Bobby B to DJ our wedding last November. Bobby went above and beyond that day. Our officiant was running late and without request Bobby stepped in, called the officiant to find out where he was and what was going on. He took a huge load off of our shoulders. Our conservative crowd was entertained all the way through and we couldn't have been happier! My family still rave about how amazing our MC/DJ was!

Bobby was so awesome to work with. He far exceeded in providing a great time for my guests, husband, and I. I have been recommending him before our wedding date even approached, just due to his diligence and cooperation leading up to the event. He is fun, professional, and very accommodating to your wants/needs. I recommend him even more highly now that our wedding has passed. He was spot on with all instructions given to him for ceremony and introduction music, helped run the show smoothly during first and special dances, and provided loads of fun with the Photo Booth!! Two weeks later, guests from my wedding are still posting Photo Booth pics and they are so fun to see! I would never recommend another DJ or entertainment service. THANK YOU BOBBY!!

From start to finish and everything in between, Bobby did not disappoint in the least bit!! He's very easy going, quick to respond, and makes the whole process run so smoothly. The music the entire evening was perfect. Not to mention made it quite difficult to ever want to step off the dance floor! Our guests had such a great time with the photobooth as well, especially with all the fun props! So many of our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they had been to, and we largely give credit to him for making it that way. We couldn't imagine it being any different. The only regret you will have is not having him as your DJ!

Bobby did an AMAZING job. We currently live in Florida and he was very responsive and helpful in the whole process. When we had our final meet up with him we went over everything and I had no doubt he would have everything down. We also rented a Photobooth through him! All in all, everything was perfect and I’m glad he got people out of their seats to dance!

DJ Bobby was very fun but professional during our consultations. He very receptive to our ideas on how we wanted our reception to go, and working with him we were able to come up with some fun new ideas that we did not originally consider. He definitely has technical expertise, knows his equipment and does a good job explaining their capabilities, which made it easier for us to adapt it to the overall venue plan. In the DJ booth, he is great at getting a feel for the room and keeping guests on the dance floor. Finally, he made a great emcee, and was not overbearing at all. Overall, he was a great DJ for a great value. Easily five stars.

I could not have asked for a Better Experience!! Bobby came recommend by my now Son-in-Law and I he did an amazing job for my daughter and son-in-law!! He was most accommodating, my daughter & SIL work in the Food Industry which tends to make it difficult to get everyone in the same place at the same time Bobby came to us and handled everything with complete ease & professionalism I couldn't ask for better...The photo booth was a HUGE HIT!! and the price for the Package that he gave us was even better!! I cannot say enough good things about DJ Bobby B. He went absolutely above and beyond when he dj'd my wedding. More than just playing songs, he helped run the event, announcing the wedding party, helping things flow smoothly at the reception for all the dances/events. He has a great personality thay brought the wedding reception up a notch. I couldn't have asked for more and he really put our minds at ease. DJ Bobby B is a class act! We hired Bobby for our wedding and we are so happy we did. On our wedding day, our venue lost power after our ceremony. Food was not able to be cooked, the cake was melting, and it was 90 degrees outside. But guess what?! We were still able to move forward with our reception because DJ Bobby B knows how to come through! He had battery powered speakers so we could do our first dance, and speeches. Luckily an hour or so later we had power and it was perfect! Bobby lit the dance floor up! Everyone at our wedding talks about that day and how it was the best wedding they have been to. I highly recommend DJ Bobby B to anyone who needs a DJ!

Bobby and Ashley expertly handled my daughter's wedding this weekend!!! He did a fantastic job with music and set up with gorgeous lighting. Ashley patiently helped the people the whole night. Most important, he helped our blended families enjoy one of the most special times in our lives. The photo booth is well worth the money too!! My first impression was professional. I began my search for a DJ through word of mouth and it didnt turn out as planned so I went to the internet. As soon as I reviewed Bobby B's site I was thoroughly impressed. His response time to my inquiries were very quick and he made the entire process convenient. He took the time to discuss our likes and dislikes through his questioneer which actually helped me organize my wedding and eliminated a lot of additional chaos. My wedding day turned into a literal blizzard and when I spoke with him he was already enroute in order to make it. He was there on time and well equipped. The wedding turned out to be perfect and the reception was so much fun with his music selections bringing out all the excitement. In spite of closed roads and dangerous weather and we have so much thanks to Bobby for being such a dedicated and hard working professional. Hands down best DJ experience ever. One slight complaint
I had a family wedding with lot of little kids and I specifically asked no vulgar or suggestive songs. DJ Bobby B definitely follow my wishes on that end however when my husband and I left he made a sexual joke in poor taste. Other than that he didn’t play many slow songs for the older crowd, but no one even requested songs so who’s to say who’s to blame
