  Need more than 5 stars -- Cannot imagine a better guy / team

  First off, I absolutely cannot understand how Amar / the BnB team do not have 5 star reviews across the board. Very weird to see such a disgruntled customer for a vendor who not only my wife and I loved, but our families loved as well.
  
  As far as "customer service," Amar and team are incredible. We were a twice-delayed COVID wedding, and Amar still flew in for an engagement shoot (no questions asked), and worked around his own schedule to ensure he was free for our actual wedding day in September.
  
  More importantly, the quality and care Amar puts into his work is so apparent from the minute you talk to him. He knows exactly how to position you / everyone in order to get an amazing shot, and we couldn't have been happier with the job he did. We had a 400-person Indian wedding in the New York City area, and he was able to capture seemingly every moment and important detail.
  
  I would give him my absolute highest recommendation, and would be happy to chat with anyone considering hiring him (hint: just do it).

  Love BNB Photography! My husband and I are very happy with our choice in BNB photography/video for our engagement photo shoot, engagement photos, wedding and reception events. From our first meeting, Amar was very approachable and helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. We had a beautiful photo shoot in Central Park and by the Brooklyn bridge. We got our photos immediately. The team did a wonderful job in capturing every special moment during the wedding day and reception. Importantly, they performed the job on the wedding day always with a smile on their face and were very supportive. We had phenomenal pictures taken in a local park close to our venue capturing the fall colors and close attention to detail of our outfits. We got all our wedding photos in a timely fashion and I cannot wait to see how our album and video turns out! Thanks so much to BNB photography for capturing the beautiful memories of our wedding day! :) I could not be any happier with my choice!

  Amar and his team far exceeded my expectations. I was provided with photographers for a 3 day wedding who made it seem like there was nothing more important in the world than my wedding. Amar is flexible, easy to get a long with, and extremely accommodating to his clients. I knew he was the right guy for the job because he was honest, upfront, and most importantly, trust worthy. He showed up to all three events on time and ready to go (even though I was running late each night!). I was provided with a CD with all the images of the wedding 1 week after it was done. I was able to take them home and go through them on my schedule to determine which would go in the album. All in all, very happy with the quality of the pictures, the level of detail, and the photo journalistic quality to them. I would highly recommend this firm (and already have to my friends).

  Amar is the main photographer for BnB, and he did a wonderful job on my wedding pictures. All the pictures are amazing, and video is nice too. I just cant wait to see me Album!!!

  Wedding videographers are expensive and these guys do not have the capabilities, skills, or professionalism required to film weddings.

  If you are a South Asian bride or groom looking for a wedding videographer - please look elsewhere!!! My family paid BNB photography an egregious amount of money to film our 2 wedding events in 4K and create 6:00 minute highlight reels for both events. After 7 months we finally received our video today and it is awful!!! The difference in video quality is astounding. The first event is fine but the second event is awful. They drop the camera, there are glitches, overall camera work is sloppy, there is a weird panorama at the beginning. and lastly it is as if they forgot to cut out the "blooper" footage they took. When we first received our video it was 2 months after the wedding. When we downloaded the content it was not 4K like we paid for. On our first viewing we did not love it but we could not leave any comments in vimeo which meant we had to sit down and manually write the errors. It took my husband and I 1.5 weeks before we finally had time to properly view the full film. They claimed we could leave comments in Vimeo - we could not. They lied. I have worked with Vimeo before and you can leave comments at specific points in the video if the editor allows it. We sent them a detailed note of the changes we requested and they completely stopped responding. We had to follow up every few weeks. Finally at the end of December my family threatened to dispute the charges and only then did we get a response. Today we received the "revised" video and it is as if their editors can not read because none of the changes we asked for were incorporated. Beyond frustrating. Wedding videographers are expensive and these guys do not have the capabilities, skills, or professionalism required to film weddings. I strongly encourage you not to hire.

  I was extremely dissatisfied at the level of service from Amar Dewal and BnB Photography and feel compelled to share our emotionally-draining experience and hope it saves you from having to relive something similar. BnB Photography failed to capture our wedding in its entirety, missing many of the most important ceremonies and were not upfront in informing us of their failure. BnB Photography and Amar Dewal fell well below our minimum expectation, which led us to question the $4,800 fee charged (with $4000 paid up-front) for the wedding videography and photography.
  We discovered footage was missing upon viewing our wedding trailer - it was missing the tying of the mangalyasutra (equivalent to exchanging of wedding rings). Upon enquiry, we were told that only this clip was missing and it occurred during a battery-swap. We were very upset as this is *the* most important part of a Hindu wedding. Also, we provided Amar our detailed wedding program a month before to ensure they were fully prepared to capture the entire ceremony. Upon viewing the raw footage, it was evident that they did not have footage of me getting ready in my bridal saree, my father giving me away, the mangalyasutra and a number of other important ceremonies integral to a traditional Hindu wedding. Together, the video and pictures fail to capture our complete wedding day - a significant portion of our wedding ceremony is missing. These once-in-a-lifetime priceless memories cannot ever be recovered.
  Furthermore, our dealings with BnB Photography were marked by missed deadlines and poor communication on their side. Our experience is representative of the extremely poor service and communication from BnB Photography and we found their lack of remorse at such shortcomings particularly appalling. Suggestions of a refund were rebuffed despite our expression of dissatisfaction in missing significant portions of the wedding and their failure to perform their duties.
