Chelsea and Sharlene did hair and makeup for myself (the bride) and 4 women in my bridal party. Ahead of our appointment, Sharlene was incredibly responsive and got back to my emails and texts within a day or two, even in the midst of this summer's crazy wedding season. I always felt heard and supported leading up to the appointment.
When it came to the big day, I couldn't have asked for a better duo to help us get ready. Sharlene tackled makeup while Chelsea did our hair. None of the women in my bridal party, including myself, are used to getting very dressed up and wanted more of a toned-down look. Sharlene and Chelsea both eased my worries about being too done up immediately. They took the time to look at pictures of the styles we wanted, asked questions, gave feedback and executed perfectly.
I felt so beautiful on my wedding day, mostly because Sharlene and Chelsea made me feel like my very best self. My hair stayed in place (and I danced A LOT) and my entire look lasted all night after an outdoor wedding with dirt, campfires and s'mores!
They're seriously the best and I couldn't recommend them enough! -

Sharlene from Blush and Rose did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup. I don’t ever wear makeup so I was nervous to book with someone who wouldn’t quite understand the minimal look I was going for. We did our trial, and she really understood what I was asking for and executed it as I was envisioning. We made a few minor tweaks on the day of to my hair and makeup but she was so understanding and willing to make those changes until it was how I envisioned. Her energy is so calm and comforting and I felt totally taken care of on my big day. I made a mistake with the final number of bridesmaids getting their hair/makeup done, and she worked with me right away to get it fixed. I was very happy with Sharlene, and would recommend her to others. -

Natural beauty
Shar was amazing at bringing out my natural beauty and respecting my ask for a minimum amount of product. I am allergic to a lot of products and don't love wearing a lot of makeup and Shar was able to come in and make me feel beautiful with just the right amount of makeup. She also gave me a makeup lesson and I am forever grateful for that.
Her hair skills are so amazing and out of this world!! -

Ladies, there is no way around it, weddings are stressful! So many things to do, people to please and the spotlight is on you. Shar is so sweet and easy going and has such a calm presence. It was one of the most relaxing moments of my wedding day. She remembered exactly what we practiced at my trial. She did my mom’s hair and makeup too and offered the same quality service. My mom and I both wanted understated makeup and hair which we were so happy with! -

I could not have been happier!
Shar was incredibly easy to work with leading up to our wedding date. We had to change sites and bridesmaid lineup a few times, but she was very understanding throughout the whole process and always responded quickly. Then when the day came, she was very personable and a joy to work with in person. She came to our location to do hair and make up for my mom, my sister and I, and all three of us were ecstatic with our hair and makeup for the day. Not to mention the styles and makeup held up well into the evening, without needing touch up. I was very impressed with Shar, very happy with her work, and would recommend her to anyone. -

Shar was such a pleasure to have on my wedding day!! She is very easy to talk with and was flexible with date changes. She gave us the perfect looks despite my bridesmaids and I not giving her much information on what we wanted. Shar is relaxed, yet professional and eased wedding-morning anxiety. The entire experience with Shar Mitchell was easy and quick, which is what I needed. I went in for my trial first where Shar was able to take what I described and create it with my hair.
Then, on the day of the wedding she arrived on-time and ready to go! I emailed her a time schedule beforehand since I had a few women that had to work around other set up activities for the big day. Shar was very respectful of that timeline and even brought on another gal to help with the hair.
Overall, Shar Mitchell was the hair and makeup artist for me. She got the job done quick and easy and the makeup lasted the entire night. -
