Sarah is one of the most incredible make-up artists (and people) I’ve ever had a chance to work with. Blush and Braids Beauty Bar (stylist Sarah) did my hair and makeup for my engagement photos as well as my makeup and all of my bridesmaids’ makeup for our wedding day. Everyone’s makeup turned out fabulous and lasted for photos all afternoon, the ceremony, and dancing all night! I am so happy looking at the way my makeup turned out in photos—it was EXACTLY how I wanted it. I cannot recommend this team enough. Additionally, Sarah was such a fun and calming energy on the big day—the girls all said how much she fit right into the fun of the day. -

I had the absolute best experience with Blush and Braids for my wedding! They were amazing from start to finish - so easy to work with, professional, and right on time the morning of. Every single person in my bridal party loved their makeup, and that included a group with a range of cultural backgrounds. My mom and my mother-in-law were both very nervous to get their hair/makeup done and they both ended up loving their looks. The team listened carefully and took real-time feedback into account to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy with every detail of their look.
Our hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all day and night - even after being outside in the heat, dancing, and sweating, everything still looked fresh. The touch up kits were perfect as well. As the bride, I received so many compliments on how natural and beautiful my makeup was. I can’t recommend Blush and Braids enough for any bride looking for a talented, professional, and thoughtful glam team! -

I HIGHLY recommend using BBBB for your beauty services. As a bride who doesn't typically wear makeup and has naturally curly/wavy hair, my priority for hair/makeup services was finding a place who would make me look and feel beautiful and confident, but still like myself. The BBBB team KNOCKED it out of the park. Amy (makeup), Milian (hair) and Brenda (hair/makeup) were so kind and professional while doing hair/makeup for myself, my mother, my two grandmothers, my mother-in-law, and my two maids-of-honor. They kept us on schedule, but were flexible when someone was running behind or needed to take a break. Their energy was fun, warm, and relaxing, which helped to really set the tone for the day. Everyone was saying how the morning of the wedding felt almost like a spa experience – it was that relaxing! We all looked beautiful, seriously. And we all felt like *ourselves*, which was a top priority for us. I remarked to my husband that I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life on my wedding day – and I don't know if I'll ever feel more gorgeous! So much of that is attributed to the hair and makeup services I received from BBBB. I felt so confident heading into our wedding day. Not once did I feel preoccupied about my appearance, because the artists crushed it. Thank you BBBB crew for making such a special, cherished day all the more magical. -

Blush and Braids was so great for my wedding day! I worked with Lerin for makeup and Jenn for hair, and they were both excellent!! They both listened to what I wanted and brought my vision to life. My bridesmaids also felt so happy and beautiful! My hair and makeup lasted all day long – I really didn't have to do any touch-ups either. Kayla B. booked through Blush and Braids Beauty Bar (Tacoma & Seattle) was absolutely amazing! From the start, she was so fun and made me feel so comfortable at my wedding hair trial. It was like sitting down chatting with a friend the entire time! The trial was so beautiful and I scheduled a follow up with her for a trim a few weeks later to get ready for my wedding day. I had not had a hair cut in a very long time but I absolutely trusted her and my hair felt so healthy!
On the wedding day, Kayla was again so great to work with and she made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful! I changed up my wedding hair vision a few days before and Kayla and Blush and Braids Beauty Bar were able to accommodate and communicate to each other about those changes. My wedding hair was so incredible and I got emotional when it was completed when I looked in the mirror. That was such a special moment for me because I truly felt like the most beautiful bride. I can’t thank Kayla enough for that moment and being such a genuine person. She truly cares about her clients and puts in that effort but somehow makes it look effortless! I highly recommend Kayla and Blush and Braid Beauty for your wedding!

Natasha (makeup) and Kelsey (hair) were amazing to work with! Competitive pricing with other local vendors in the Seattle area, and the entire B&B team was easy to communicate with. I decided to change stylists after my first trial and they were so kind to accommodate. I am not a daily makeup wearer and wanted something simple - Natasha pulled it off beautifully with the airbrushing and my makeup lasted all night! A little Washington drizzle couldn’t be helped, and I still loved the final look for my hair. -

The BBBB team is incredible! The work they do is excellent, and I would book them again in a heartbeat. The owner, Sarah, has quick and clear communication over email. I need to give a special shout out to Heather, who did my hair and makeup for both my engagement photos and wedding. Heather is a miracle worker. She listened to all of my concerns regarding my skin, recommended great skincare products to use to prep, and made me feel so beautiful through all of the wedding occasions! She makes great conversation, listens to exactly what you want, and can flawlessly recreate inspiration photos. If I ever need HMUA services in the future, Heather & BBBB will be my first choice! Blush and Braids Beauty Bar did an INCREDIBLE job on my wedding hair and makeup, along with the hair and makeup for my mom, mother-in-law, and four sisters. Each and every one of us received compliments all night on how natural yet glamorous our hair and makeup looked! I am an admittedly sweaty dancer, and my hair and makeup stayed in place even after hours on the dancefloor at my wedding! Sarah, Hung, and Eva made everyone in the bridal suite feel at ease, and were able to create beautiful looks on a bunch of different hair and skin types with no problem! Sarah was SO responsive throughout the entire planning process, always responding promptly to questions, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism, but also bringing the fun. Blush and Braids was amazing to work with, and I would highly recommend them to all future brides!! -

Blush and Braids Beauty Bar did a wonderful job with their beauty services. From the moment of the trial, I knew I was in good hands. Milian and Daniela were wonderful to chat with, and both were experts in their craft. I didn't have a super strong vision, but they were able to brainstorm and play with me when creating the look. On the day, we had Nadia join as one of the artists to help maintain the schedule. The team were on time, followed the schedule, and we had plenty of time to relax and get ready. They also were very eager to listen, collaborate, suggest, and follow the rest of the party's hair/beauty visions as well. Everyone looked stunning, and I felt beautiful. -

SO AMAZING! My hair and makeup for my wedding turned out gorgeous! I worked with Jamie who was so lovely and she got done early on my wedding day. The process was so great. I had a hair and makeup trial and then I got an email asking how it went and any notes for Jamie. And after my wedding day I got another email asking how the hair and makeup went. It was really nice that they reached out to ask how it went and I got some time to think about if I wanted anything changed. Very affordable and worth every cent!!!!! -

I’m so glad I booked Blush and Braids Beauty Bar for my wedding. Shelby checked in regularly and was able to answer all my questions and come up with a schedule that worked with the rest of our timeline. My HMU artist Aleana was fantastic – she was able to create the look I asked for, and she listened to my feedback from the trial and made the right changes on the wedding day. She was even able to help out my groom, who had a bit of a sunburn from the day before. The whole team was great to work with and made the process stress-free. -

I worked with Sarah and Hung with Blush and Braids Beauty Bar to do the hair and makeup for me, my four attendants, my mom and my stepdaughter for my wedding in March 2023. From beginning to end this was a great experience. Hung did a fantastic job with everyone's hair, including styling my mom's shorter hair, doing five unique updos for me and my attendants, and styling my stepdaugher's long hair. He is so sweet and incredibly talented and everyone looked fabulous. He even adjusted one updo when my friend changed her mind.
Sarah did our makeup and her work was incredible. I don't wear much makeup, so I was a bit nervous about having so mucn on, but it looked wonderful and it stayed on all day and night. Sarah really listened to what we wanted, happily made adjustments to my makeup after my trial, and had everyone feeling beautiful.
I highliy recommend Blush and Braids Beauty Bar and both Sarah and Hung if you have a chance to work with them. They are amazing and so fun to spend time with on the morning of your wedding! -

I was so pleased with the beauty services provided by Blush and Braids! Not only were they very affordable, everything was included (airbrush makeup, lashes, etc.). Savannah did my bridesmaids' hair, and we were all impressed by how fast she worked to get us all done on time. Her and her assistant also did 9 other styles for my bridesmaids and moms. Everyone was able to show them a inspo pic with what they wanted. Highly reccomend! -

A Must Have Wedding Day Vendor!
I cannot thank the Blush and Braid Beauty Bar team and artists for making my wedding day hair and make-up services so beautiful. Sarah was very responsive and jumped right in when schedules needed to adjust, especially leading up to our wedding. Their services fit my beauty budget for my wedding and the value delivered is amazing. My hair and make-up lasted ALL day and beat out some outdoor temps in the 80’s. The team came to our hotel suite and was efficient at getting 15 hair and 8 make-up services done before we started first look and bridal party pictures. Shoutout to Samreen, Dana, David, Taylor, and Lerin- a great beauty team! I highly recommend using Blush and Braid Beauty for any beauty needs. Will likely use them again in the future for one off hair and make-up needs. The best of the best! -

I found Blush and Braids beauty bar through good old fashioned google searching - the reviews seemed great so I went with them. I did a lot of emailing with Sarah to ask question and coordinate details - she was always very quick to respond. I did two trials with Alyssa for hair since the first hair style didn’t work for me as the day progressed (I have a sensitive scalp that’s headache prone). After some additional communication with Sarah and Alyssa, we found a great comfortable hair style that was a success in the second trial. I was paired up with Amy for makeup and loved the look she gave me - it was exactly what I wanted - nothing dramatic, just enhancing natural features. I was SO happy with how my hair and makeup turned out on my wedding day. Everything stayed in place and I looked as good at 11pm as I did when I started out at 2pm. Overall, I had a really good experience with Blush and Braids. The fact that they came to our hotel made everything super easy as well. -

Amazing Hair and Makeup - Downtown Chicago
Blush and Braids Beauty Bar was fantastic! When I first got engaged a friend had a hair and makeup come to my apartment as a gift so I looked good for the party (surprise), that I didn't know about. That's when I first met David and he made me look incredible. So when it came time for the wedding I looked no further than Blush and Braids Beauty Bar. I once again used David for my engagement photos and he delivered 12/10 on my look. Sarah was fantastic at communicating with us the entire time leading up to the wedding and worked well with my day of planner. I also wanted to do a second hair trial to ensure I loved the look for the day, and Sarah made it so easy to schedule to ensure I felt great the day of the wedding. The whole team was extremely professional and was a amazing to work with. We had 15 people including myself, 12 bridesmaids, mother of the groom and grandma of the bride getting ready the day of the wedding. The 5 person team arrived on time and were flexible with last minute schedule changes made the day of. David did my hair and makeup and I truly looked the best I've ever looked in my entire life. I'm still getting compliments almost a month later about how stunning I looked. David stayed for touch ups until I went down the aisle and even helped me change my hair do for the ceremony. I truly can't say thank you enough for how amazing I looked that day - David is a ROCKSTAR. Also for the quality of service, it's extremely affordable. I first met Savannah and Lerin for my hair & makeup trials and with a couple of inspo pictures knew exactly what I wanted and nailed it on the first try. I hired Blush and Braids for my wedding last weekend. Sarah was very responsive and so helpful working with my schedule as an out-of-town bride, as well as making sure we had enough artists to get 9 people ready by 1pm without a super early wakeup call.
Our team consisted of Savannah (hair), Amy (makeup), and David (hair and makeup). My first experience working with Amy and Savannah was in late February when I came to the studio for my trial. They made it so easy to communicate what I wanted for my bridal look, and I left feeling confident about my wedding day hair and makeup.
On the actual day, Amy and Savannah did a perfect job recreating my trial look (with slight tweaks to make sure it lasted all day), and also got rave reviews from my mom, sisters, and mother-in-law. (To quote my older sister: “This is the hottest I’ve ever looked.”)
While I did not personally work with David, it was obvious just from watching that he made my bridesmaids feel so beautiful.
Lastly I wanted to give a shout out to Amy, who arrived a little late due to confusion over what room we were in, but then stayed extra late to make sure everyone got their makeup touched up.
Thank you Blush and Braids for a wonderful experience, and for making my entire wedding party look and feel beautiful. -

Great Even for Few Services, and Stellar Fun to Boot!
Blush and Braids offer fantastic services with fantastic people and fantastic results! I worked with Milian for my hair and Sarah for my makeup. The look I wanted was different from what's currently trending in bridal, and I only needed services for myself and my mom, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find someone(s) who fit both criteria. BBBB was it! From the beginning Sarah was open, clear, and communicative about pricing and services, and after my trial asked for feedback on things to change for the big day. They arrived on time -- I love that they travel to you even when you have a non-existent wedding party! -- and were such a joy to get ready with! What's even better: everything stayed in place the whole day. Everything. Not a hair or eyelash was out of place, and not a lip or cheek was smudged by the end of the night. They gave me hair and makeup touch-up kits, and I feel guilty having taken them, because I didn't touch them at all! Stellar bang for your buck, and massive fun to boot. Sarah was fantastic -- she's a great communicator and so organized, she made sure all of the details of our big day were squared away! Incredibly experience working with Blush & Braids and their artists - Heather did my hair and Daniela did my makeup - both kept SO WELL during the whole night, I really didn't need any touchups! My bridesmaids (all 7 of them!) were very pleased with their hair/makeup, even some of the men said they were impressed! Communication (via Thumbtack) was so easy with Sarah, and they were so kind to squeeze in some last minute additions as well - shoutout to Alex and Jeannette also for coming over to help! And Arlene who assisted and did amazing with my sister and one of my bridesmaids' hair. Honestly a bit pricier than I would've liked but extremely great work, so I have nothing to complain about and would totally recommend. -

Amazing work and beautiful talented ladies!
I picked Blush and Braids Beauty Bar for my wedding mostly because of the generous reviews and the fantastic portfolios. All the images I saw showed such beautiful work and as someone who does not get their hair or make-up done often I was thrilled to work with people so knowledgeable and experienced. I ended up being booked with Savannah for hair and Heather for makeup and they both did such a wonderful job. Not only are they both very personable and fun to be around, they are both absolutely fantastic at what they do. They both were able to give me as much guidance as I needed to make sure what I chose was going to work for the day. They were both super flexible and open to suggestions and input. Heather was able to COMPLETELY change my makeup the day of from what we had discussed at the trial and it came out absolutely perfect. Savannah was able to understand exactly what I wanted between the photos I showed her and even directed me as to what to ask for at my upcoming haircut to make sure it comes out like I envisioned. They were both wonderful and communication with Katie and Sarah was constant throughout the planning process. The day of we were on time without any hiccups and all my girls were thrilled with how their looks came out. All of our hair and makeup withstood the night of partying and I couldn't be more thrilled with my choice to work with Blush and Braids. Perfection
Blush and Braids Beauty Bar was exceptional from start to finish. Katie and Sarah were prompt and courteous with communication and all services. I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day! Katie and Sarah both nailed everything I asked for and THEN SOME. I had a casual 17 people that needed hair and/or makeup on my big day and they made every single person feel beautiful, special, and heard. I also worked with them to add Teshanna (an additional stylist) to make sure we had enough artists to make the day happen on time. She was fabulous as well! She basically did my mother's hair three times to make sure she felt satisfied (not an easy task let me tell ya).

Katie was exceptional from the beginning - easy to stay in touch via email, communicative with changes in plan due to the pandemic, and flexible when we postponed our larger reception opting for a small ceremony. Katie and Giselle (makeup) were able to come to my home and took extra precautions for keeping everything sanitary. I couldn't have felt safer, and I couldn't have been happier with their work! I am not a savvy beauty person and gave them very little to go off of, but they were patient and talked me through options and their expertise showed. Highly recommend. -

I had a great experience working with Blush and Braids Beauty Bar for my weddings. For my wedding, I was the only person needing hair and makeup the day of the wedding, and BBBB still had decent prices for onsite hair and makeup (i.e., in a downtown hotel). BBBB was very responsive over both text and email. The trial and payment process was very easy. I really liked that everything was included in the package (including eyelashes and tip), so there were no additional fees I had to worry about besides paying for the artists' parking the day-of (and even this was charged a few days in advance, which I appreciated). The makeup artist was Heather and she worked with me during both the trial and the day-of to make sure I was satisfied. (I did a natural look with airbrushing and eyelash extensions.) Heather has a very calm demeanor, she listens to what you want and will change what you are not happy with. For instance, on the day of, I wasn't happy with the lip color we had decided on at the trial, but Heather was not annoyed or flustered in the least. She was very flexible and worked with me to find the right color. She is also very competent, organized, and talented. She showed up early to the hotel and had all her equipment ready to go by the time I was ready for makeup. Since my shoulders were exposed, I wanted to make sure my chest, neck, and shoulders matched the color of my face, so she used airbrush on all those parts to make sure the coloring was even. It turned out great! And it lasted all evening. The hairstylist I had during my trial ended up having a family emergency, so had to be replaced on the day of my wedding. At first, I was worried about this, but BBBB replaced her with Kristy, who turned out to be amazing! (I did Hollywood curls with a side-swoop.) She was simultaneously very talented / competent and laid back / easy to work with, which is the best combination to work with. Kristy was responsive to my preferences for my hair, making sure to ask me many questions to ensure she was providing me with the style I wanted. She made adjustments whenever necessary. For instance, I had a large floral hair clip behind my left ear that kept falling and touching my ear—she made sure (with bobby pins and wizardry) that the clip stayed in place and stayed away from my ear. IMO, Kristy is a true art-eest! All in all, the experience with BBBB was very smooth and I was very happy with the results. -

I'm glad we went with Blush and Braids Beauty Bar for our wedding day! I love how my hair and makeup looked, and my bridesmaids also enjoyed their experience. Sarah and her assistant also stayed a little bit longer for touchups and I appreciate that! The planning process was very smooth and they were very understanding when I had one person drop out of receiving services the week of.
I do wish my makeup lasted a little longer into the night however. I found that my curls had gotten a little frizzy and knotty by the end of the night as well. It was rainy that day, and there's all the dancing, so I know a lot of that can't be helped!
When I look back as well, I wish we only had two artists on my wedding day. Originally I had booked three, but the third had a last minute emergency and an assistant came instead. Since the assistant was only working with Sarah and not on her own, I wonder if we should've just had two artists just to save some money.
I do still recommend Blush and Braids though -- they did great work! -

Sopeary and Brianna did the makeup for my wedding and wow, they are truly amazing!! I would give both of them 5 stars! Unfortunately, I can’t give the company 5 stars because of multiple situations where the communication was poor when booking and with communication after the wedding, and a subpar experience with a hair stylist, but co-owner Sarah was there to save the day each time! -
