Jennifer and Stephanie were the absolute DREAM TEAM for my wedding! Right as I walked into the studio for my trail run, I knew I was in good hands. Stephanie was very responsive and professional with inquiries and made sure I understood the packages and process. She worked with me to make sure my hair was exactly how I wanted and let me tell you, the end result was PERFECT. Speaking of perfect, Jennifer is the queen of makeup and airbrush. She also knows her stuff regarding skin care and her expertise showed. My makeup was flawless and just like my hair, it lasted throughout the entire evening. I had such a great experience with the team at Blush and Bobby Pins and would likely recommend them. I will absolute use them for my next event! Highly recommend!

Amazing service - no matter how many years the event was delayed!
I initially booked with Stephanie in late 2019 for to be the make up artist for my 2020 wedding (I think we all know how that turned out). I can never thank her enough for being so accommodating and honoring our contract - Stephanie ended up providing both make up and hair services for my 2023 reception. I am so grateful to her for managing to coordinate with me in the lead up to the event as I now lived in a different country, as I changed around the services needed to accommodate a reduced guest list and the loss of my originally booked hair stylist, and she made me feel like an absolute princess on my special day. A special recommendation to folks with curly hair - Stephanie worked with my natural curls and just a bit of a curling iron to create a stunning ‘do - I know plenty of other stylists would insist on straightening everything first, I am grateful for Stephanie choosing a different path that respects my natural hair and I think others would appreciate this as well. Ultimately, me and my bridesmaids looked incredible, and many thanks to Stephanie for making that happen. 5 stars across the board!

Exactly what I wanted!
Stephanie was amazing. She listened to me and what I wanted –and even though it came out very wrong during the dress rehearsal for my hair and make-up—which was total my fault and not really knowing what I wanted for myself—Stephanie was patient with me and helped me to find what I really wanted for my wedding. The day arrived and it was amazing – exactly what I wanted, and it held up the whole day. I would recommend her to EVERYONE – she truly is fantastic! Would use her again in a heartbeat ❤️

Awesome makeup artist, truly an art form!
We found this makeup artist through a mutual friend and couldn’t have been happier with her. Stephanie and her team did an amazing job on my wedding day! They made sure absolutely everyone felt beautiful and were happy with their hair and makeup. Me, as the bride, I was veryyy pleased with the way my hair and makeup looked on the day of the wedding. Stephanie made sure to take lots of notes about my hair and skin during our trial to make sure it was just what I envisioned for my wedding. Stephanie was amazing! She is a total pro. She asked a ton of questions and used her expertise to create a look that was truly unique to me. She was super fun to talk to as well! She was also very quick to respond to any emails I sent. On the wedding day, her team all arrived right on time and were very professional. My mom, bridesmaids, and I all looked and felt beautiful! The most amazing crew!
I can’t say enough good things about Stephanie and this company. From the first moment I reached out up until wedding day, Stephanie was very quick to respond and always super kind and helpful. Stephanie was very down to earth and I knew during my hair and makeup trial that I had made a great choice. She was open to feedback and asked tons of questions to make sure she would end up executing the look I had envisioned. All three stylists arrived on time and got to work right away. My best friend is getting married TODAY and planned a hair app prior to her make-up appointment with Stephanie. The hair vendor did a horrible job. Blush and Bobby Pins............ an exceptional team to have for our daughters wedding in December 2022. Stephanie and Jennifer arrived with a sense of calm and purpose. Their execution of making our daughter The Bride, her bridesmaids, along with 2 Mothers and a Grandmother feel special and beautiful was flawless. From the minute we each had our turn in the chair they focused on bringing out beauty we each were comfortable with. Each head of hair and face got the attention and time they deserved. Stephanie and her team were amazing on my wedding day! My bridal party and I were all extremely satisfied with their work, even the picky ones! They were very professional, friendly, and very accommodating of our large group! Stephanie did beautiful and quality work: my hair and makeup didn't budge all night. My look was very much enhanced, but I felt very natural and still looked like myself. Her team is equally as great and all 5 of my bridesmaids and two mothers looked beautiful. Stephanie and her team were beyond wonderful! Aside from just being incredibly responsive, her team was easy to work with and efficient! We had 13 people getting hair and makeup done and everything took less than four hours total. Outside of those types of logistics, Stephanie was a magician! I have very fine hair and typically hate having it done for events. Without using any extensions, Stephanie created a soft but gorgeous look for my wedding day! My bridesmaids were stunning and Stephanie's team really listened to what each bridesmaid was wanting and looking for. HIGHTLY recommend!

Stephanie did an amazing job with my hair and my wedding party's hair. We also added makeup the week of the wedding due to a COVID issue.n Obviously, I was not able to have a trial but was able to provide an example picture and it turned out perfect! They were so respectful and conscious of wearing masks. Would definitely recommend them to all to use either for a wedding or really any special occasion!

Stephanie did a fantastic job on my makeup and hair for my wedding in October. My bridesmaid and I (bride) cannot recommend the Blush and Bobby Pins team enough! Our makeup looked so natural and our hair stayed in place all night.. even during an August wedding. Cannot recommend enough and look forward to any chance I can work with the team in the future!

Stephanie does absolutely amazing work! The makeup she applied not only looked (and made me feel) gorgeous, but also held up during crying, laughing, and a long night of dancing! Additionally, Stephanie was extremely flexible; I had a last minute request to change my hair and she was very accommodating of my wishes!

I absolutely loved working with Stephanie. I made the *very* last minute decision to change my half up half down look to a full up-do two days prior to the wedding. My hair was absolutely beautiful, and I am so happy I made the change! My make up was flawless and natural looking and having the airbrushed make up was wonderful. My bridal party also made the last minute decision to get false lashes, and Stephanie was very accommodating and efficient. She is a true professional, and I would recommend her to any of my friends or family!

Stephanie was wonderful to work with. She really takes her time and wants you to look your best. My make-up and hair lasted the entire wedding and reception. She and her staff were very flexible, even accommodating a last minute travel spot. All the girls who had their hair and make-up done were very pleased with the results. Stephanie was absolutely amazing to work with and so talented. She made my bridesmaids and myself all look amazing and our makeup stayed on all night. She is so receptive and is very happy to give you exactly what you want. I changed my mind on my hair and makeup ideas for my wedding and she was so adaptive and checked with me the entire day with how it was looking. I like things very specific and I'm super picky with makeup so she was wonderful to work with and so sweet. She arrived on time and knocked everyone out so quickly. Everyone in my party who got their makeup and hair done could not stop thanking her and they kept saying it was the best application they have every received. I highly recommend hiring Stephanie for your big day. She is super sweet and very talented at what she does. Her pricing is competitive to the market. I am so happy I had her for my big day she was amazing!

Stephanie was a dream to work with. She met with me before the trial appointment which allowed me to ease some nerves. The trial appointment went great and she is very receptive to feedback and wants to make sure you are happy. She is incredible calm and brings great energy to a more heightened time!
On the wedding day, she had two additional people with her to accommodate my large bridal party. We had 8 bridesmaids with hair and makeup and 4 additional individuals (Mother of the bride etc). Everyone was done with time to spare! We even added a few aunts and cousins because we had time, which was so kind and flexible.
She achieved every vision I had for my wedding look. I wanted to look very glam and Stephanie made it happen! My makeup looked great all night, even after an 11 hour day, rain, and 3 hours of non stop dancing!
Stephanie was great to work with her and I would recommend her to anyone!

Wow! My hair and make up was so much better than I ever could have expected. I knew I wanted my hair up but didn’t have a good idea of how I wanted it to be done (I am a really indecisive person)... eventually I just said “do whatever you think looks best” and Stephanie made it look perfect! Stephanie Baker was fantastic to work with for my wedding. She is quite the artist. I gave her some ideas about hair and she took my vision and made it even better! I wanted to put flowers in my hair, and she create a hair style that accomodated that. I said I wanted braids and twists for a bohemian look and she weaved in a number of small braids and made gorgeous twists. I also love the wavy look and she put beautiful waves in my hair. My hair looked great all day and evening. I wanted subtle makeup that didn't look too showy and she complied with that request. The makeup was pretty and not at all overdone. Stephanie and a contracted assistant also did hair or makeup for varous bridesmaids, my mom, my husband's mom, and the flower girl - and did a great job making unique hair styles and makeup to suit their preferences. Also, Stephanie was responsive to emails and was on-time for the makeup/hair trial and on the day of. I highly recommend her!

Blush and Bobby Pins was great to work with - we did a trial run and then on the morning of my wedding, Stephanie came to the B&B where I and my bridesmaids had stayed the night before. She was right on time, set up shop in a sitting room outside our suite, and stayed right on schedule. She even took some time to give my 10-year-old niece/flower girl some attention which thrilled her to no end! I wasn't originally planning to have makeup professionally done, but I'm so glad we did!

Stephanie was amazing throughout the whole process! During our trial, she helped me find what hairstyle looked best and figure out what makeup was most flattering. On the wedding day, I had 8 people getting their hair and make up done and she brought with her 2 other stylists. We started at 7:30 am and finished with everyone at about 11 am (ahead of our schedule). She is so kind and extremely talented. She listened to me, made great suggestions, and the end product was everything I hoped for.

I can’t put into words how amazing Stephanie was on my wedding day and for my trial. It was a blessing to come across Stephanie! She is absolutely amazing and took me as a client with no hesitation! It was for my makeup only and my 16 year old daughters eyelashes. I am so happy that I used Blush and Bobby Pins for my bridal makeup! Stephanie was so easy going, communicative, and attentive to details. I have been in many weddings and never loved my makeup, I always felt like the artists didn't do what I wanted and chose their own preferences over mine. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews, and I have to say that I honestly do not feel like I could've picked a better vendor! I wanted to look like me for my day, so I was going for a natural elegant look. However, I also wanted the makeup artist be able to do all ranges of makeup so that my bridal party had their preferences met as well. In addition to that, I wanted someone who was reliable and monetarily reasonable..... Blush and Bobby Pins certainly met all of that! Love Jennifer!
I originally booked another vendor because of price, but had to hire another makeup artist because my bridal party was so large. Blush and Bobby Pins stepped in and sent Jennifer who did an amazing job! My bridesmaids loved her and raves about their makeup. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Hair/Makeup
I had a great experience with my wedding hair/makeup. My package included a hair/makeup trial. After the trial, I "lived" with my hair and makeup for the rest of the day, and then provided feedback to Stephanie on what I liked and didn't like. Of course, I was nervous that my honesty would come off as being too 'picky,' but Stephanie was really receptive. On the day of the wedding, we made the tweaks (and actually totally changed a few things) and everything came out BEAUTIFUL. The cost was a little higher than I wanted to pay, but I made budget cuts in other places to make it work. Stephanie came to my hotel room, and it made things very convenient. I would absolutely recommend her for your wedding, and I would encourage you to do the trial first like I did. Side note: I LOVED that she placed 2 different lash-styles on me and gave me a choice of which falsies I liked best.

Steph was incredible to work with. Very detailed and gave me exactly what I asked for. She was professional, but also felt like I had known her forever! I got so many compliments not only on my hair but also my make up.

Assistants were not great
Stephanie does a great job, but the other two artists she brought did not perform at the same level of quality. One bridesmaid had to have her hair redone by Stephanie and multiple bridesmaids had to fix their eyebrows, lips, and face after getting their makeup done. I had hoped that after agreeing to and paying for the quality I saw from Stephanie at the trial run, that the other artists would be at her level.

I felt hideous!
I came here for my bridal hair and makeup trial which wasn't cheap. While doing my hair, I had a very simple style that I wanted. She said I would have to curl my hair myself or think of a different hair style because she didn't think my hair would hold curls well. While doing my makeup, she said she would fix certain things and make it look better on the actual wedding day, instead of just fixing it so I could see what it would actually look like. I left her salon with frizzy hair and makeup that wasn't blended well. I felt hideous! I kept trying to lie to myself that it looked good since I paid her so much money, but after asking everyone around me if they liked it, they said they weren't fond of it either in so many words. I ended up hiring someone else for my wedding who could do everything I wanted for much cheaper, and my hair held the curls just fine throughout the entire event. Don't waste your time and money here like I did.
