LOVED Blue Water Kings who played at my son’s (and daughter in law) wedding!!! What a performance!!
We first saw Blue Water Kings at a Showcase at the Cubby Bear. What sold me then was their horn section. The 3 horn players were excellent and played together seamlessly as if they had played together for a long time. The rest of the band was great as well!!
We had 9 band members at the wedding: 7 musicians with the guitar also doubling as a singer, and 2 dedicated singers. They were all great (and of course the horn section was excellent!!!).
You must at least check them out before deciding on your band. I strongly recommend getting 9 member with the 3 horns. Prices were pretty reasonable, relatively speaking. -

Bluewater Kings Band was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, the music was absolutely perfect and created an incredible atmosphere all night. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was—even those who don’t usually dance were out on the floor and loving it. Everything was seamless and professional, and they did a fantastic job incorporating our “must play” songs in a way that felt personal and fun. And they did an incredible job with our first dance song. It is the best version of the song we had ever heard. We couldn’t recommend them more highly—they made the night unforgettable. -

My wife and I had BWK play at our wedding, and we could not have been happier with their service!
From the start, they were super organized and easy to work with. Their client portal and the guidance from Molly helped us think through the vision of our wedding. Molly was also really helpful in adding on last minute services when we realized we needed them.
Our guests (and us!) had an amazing time on the dance floor singing along and dancing the night away! -

The Bluewater Kings Band was phenomenal—lively, talented, and fully engaged with the crowd all night. They brought incredible energy and had wedding guests of all ages dancing nonstop. The band not only performed beautifully, but they also read the room perfectly, keeping the celebration flowing and spirits high. We got so many compliments on the music. Choosing Blue Water Kings for our wedding was a decision we'd make again and again! From start to finish, their professionalism and incredible talent shined, making our celebration truly unforgettable.
The band absolutely curated the perfect playlist that had everyone on their feet, keeping the party going strong until close to 1 in the morning! Their ability to read the room and adapt was remarkable.
They were incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process. They readily learned songs we requested in advance, which added such a personal touch to our special day. Even more impressively, they took requests from the crowd, ensuring every guest felt included and enjoyed the music.
The entire band was so professional and so much fun! Their energy was infectious, and they truly know how to engage with an audience. If you want a wedding band that knows how to MAKE the party and create an electric atmosphere, do yourselves a favor and hire Blue Water Kings. You won't regret it! -

Where to even begin with these guys & gals?!?! BKB made our wedding! In the lead up, Corbin was fantastic in getting to know us to get a feel of musicians to put together just for us. He gave GREAT suggestions and had such an uplifting, positive vibe that was very much appreciated. We were a little uneasy that we couldn't see exactly who "our band" was going to be until go-time, but he really put us at ease in explaining how the process worked and emphasizing how talented ALL of their musicians were. It helped push us over to signing the contract. We did a 7-piece and had the pianist play during our ceremony. They were all so, so talented and just really brought the house down when it came time to open the dance floor up. We've had so many compliments about how amazing the band was since our wedding night, which is exactly what we were aiming for! I was most appreciative that unbeknownst to me, my now husband surprised me with my brother sitting in with the band to play guitar and sing our first dance and the father-daughter dance. It's a memory I will forever cherish. He said that BKB was great to collaborate with "behind my back," and my brother said the musicians were great to work with on the fly. Thank you, BKB, for being such an integral part of our special day! -

If you want your wedding to be a party, then for SURE hire the Bluewater Kings Band! We had such a great experience with their team from start to finish.
My fiance and I knew from the beginning that we wanted a live band at our wedding reception. After an initial informational call, we decided to move forward and sign a contract for a six piece band. From this point we were provided a personal portal to list all of our musical requests including our favorite artists, songs we wanted the band to learn, and even a do-not-play list.
The thoroughness truly paid off on the day of. The Bluewater Kings brought the PARTY! They read our crowd perfectly and ensured the dance floor was never empty. Their team played two longer sets during our reception and they cranked out hit after hit. They even accommodated a personalized performance from the father of the groom!
We recommend them highly for your next event!

I can’t say enough good things about Bluewater Kings Band! They truly made our special day unforgettable.
For the ceremony, the cello and piano duo created the most enchanting atmosphere. Their beautiful melodies set the perfect tone as I walked down the aisle, and many guests remarked on how emotional and lovely the music was. They also had an incredible selection of songs to choose from which made the ceremony even more personal.
During cocktail hour, the jazz trio elevated the mood even further. Their smooth tunes created a relaxed, classy vibe that everyone enjoyed while mingling and celebrating. It was the perfect backdrop for our guests to savor the moment and unwind before the festivities began.
Then came the reception, and wow—this 8-piece band brought the house down! They were energetic, engaging, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Their versatility in playing everything from classic hits to current favorites ensured that there was something for everyone. The crowd was buzzing, and we loved seeing our friends and family dancing and having the time of their lives.
From start to finish, this band exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a truly magical experience. Jessica was available for many calls to ensure that the day was perfectly tailored to our needs and I was really impressed with how we were really able to customize everything! Their planning page made everything so seamless and we had a great call with Jessica again the week of the wedding to make sure everything would go off without a hitch. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented musicians who know how to create an incredible atmosphere. Thank you for making our day so special!

We had high expectations for BWK and we were BLOWN AWAY by how amazing they were on our wedding day! We worked with Molly as our producer who was extremely responsive and on top of everything. BWK has a planning portal that we used throughout the process which kept everything extremely organized. They were extremely familiar with our venue which was super helpful as they were able to provide helpful recommendations on how to make the evening flow best music-wise.
We had a six-piece band which was a great size for our venue, with them performing at the cocktail hour and at the reception. They had amazing stage presence the whole time and really got everyone up and dancing. We were a bit worried that they play the same setlist for every wedding, but they really did curate to our music likes/dislikes (including the DJ portion). Our guests absolutely RAVED about them, and many guests said they hadn't danced like that in years! -

Words can't describe how grateful my husband and I are to Bluewater Kings Band for making our wedding day so special. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Molly and the Bluewater Kings Band. We wish we could yell from the rooftops to anyone and everyone who will listen about how phenomenal our experience was with the band. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. Our guests are STILL talking about how spectacular the music was, and I imagine they will continue to talk about it for years. I know we will. Thank you thank you thank you. Molly and the band have contributed so much to making our wedding day the best day of our lives. -

Bluewater Kings were phenomenal. We didn't give much musical direction except to play songs that keep people on the dance floor and wow they did exactly that. Every song was one that was familiar, and they did a great job of going through the decades as they asked. So many of our guests complimented what a great band we had, and we had so much fun at our wedding. The rates can't be beat compared to other wedding bands, and Bluewater Kings is wildly talented. I would hire them again and again for events. -

Amazing!!!!!!!!
Sooooooo fabulous to work with! Not only was the band outstanding but it was so easy, organized and great working with you! We felt so confident with every step of the process, which was important to us as this was our first wedding planned on both sides of the family. Every single guest commented on how amazing the band was. They were so so so nice, so professional, so good, and most of all so fun!

WOAH!!!! Just WOAH!! Bluewater Kinds Band was amazing! From our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to our reception. They kept the dance floor going all night! We still get compliments about them and we have been told over and over again by our guests that this was the best reception music they have ever heard ! There wasn't one person in the room that didn't enjoy their performance, even my dad who has never danced a day in his life, was on the dance floor dancing...I'm pretty sure that's the biggest compliment EVER (he's a hard man to please!). From the moment we booked until the last song at our reception, our expectations were far exceeded! -

We had Blue Water Kings perform for our wedding on 2/29/2020 and they were perfect! Before the wedding they sent us a very detailed, easy to follow website that helped us plan the playlist/MC announcements. They were attentive to our needs and they played songs that were right on par with our style! A ton of our guests said it was one of the best wedding bands they've heard! We love BWK and we would recommend them to anyone.
