    My husband and I only went to one bakery - Bluebonnet. We knew, solely on reputation, that this was the place we wanted to use for our big day. I emailed Bluebonnet and quickly got a reply with a full price list - that of which is not unreasonable as far as wedding cake pricing is concerned. I promptly scheduled a tasting. When we arrived for our tasting, all the cakes slices were ready to go and incredibly fresh. We tasted, i believe, 8 different flavors. We ended up choosing the red velvet and mocha flavors.

    On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered on time. The design was exactly as expected. We had some trouble with the cake, which I addressed after the wedding, to which Bluebonnet responded to and remedied quickly.

    The flavor and the moistness of the cake was amazing. We got several compliments on how good it was. I highly recommend Bluebonnet Bakery for your wedding cake needs!

    SO NICE! And the best place in town. I gave her a picture of a cake and I got that cake...to the Letter. I ordered 200 Cupcakes as well. Everything was tasty and looked stunning. Did I say the Cake was super GOOD!

    They perfectly matched my wedding cake design with my invitations. Service was AWESOME, and we got tons of compliments on our cake! Highly recommend!

    Bluebonnet makes the best cakes!

    We were really impressed at the free tasting appointment we did with them; they have lots of different flavors that it was difficult to decide which ones to choose from. Their base prices are very reasonable.

    Leanne was great to work with; she and the rest of the staff were very professional and responsive. One idea we had was to use sugar flowers in a cascade on the side of the cake. While they will decorate with sugar flowers, they need to be special ordered (some colors more easy than others). After viewing the color samples we had as well as our floral contract, she suggested we use real flowers instead due to the extra cost of special ordering sugar flowers. I felt she had our best interests in mind when it came to the cake design.

    I did feel the delivery charge was a bit much ($75 for less than 5 miles), but I also feel that any other bakery in the metroplex would have charged more for delivery.

    We live in Richardson and in some ways felt that our Fort Worth wedding was semi-destination; they will do business by mail as well as take a debit/credit card number over the phone.

    We were incredibly happy with the way our cake turned out (three tier, two tiers with almond and raspberry filling, the third tier carrot cake with pineapple filling, buttercream frosting) and so many of our guests gushed over how delicious it was!
