  Amber from Bluebird Salon was a joy to work with. She made me feel so confident and beautiful the day of my wedding!!! She did my hair and makeup, and also helped ease my nerves the morning of while getting ready. She is so personable and caring, and so flexible and easy to work with. I cannot recommend her enough!!!! We love Amber!!!

  For our wedding we had Brit Tarr do the hair and makeup for myself, bridesmaids, a couple friends that wanted to have it done, and both moms. We really felt like Birt went above and beyond expectations. She was so personable and nice and helpful and calm while everyone was constantly in a tizzy over the wedding and setting up and stuff.
  
  Ok, fine, I'll admit it, I was all afluff because our wedding planner wasn't working out and I had to do a bunch of stuff last minute. Honestly, I didn't care about my hair and makeup at that point. I was like, "slap it on, get it done. I don't care." But Brit didn't let me... Read more

  For our wedding we had Brit Tarr do the hair and makeup for myself, bridesmaids, a couple friends that wanted to have it done, and both moms. We really felt like Birt went above and beyond expectations. She was so personable and nice and helpful and calm while everyone was constantly in a tizzy over the wedding and setting up and stuff.
  
  Ok, fine, I'll admit it, I was all afluff because our wedding planner wasn't working out and I had to do a bunch of stuff last minute. Honestly, I didn't care about my hair and makeup at that point. I was like, "slap it on, get it done. I don't care." But Brit didn't let me walk out looking terrible and hurrying the process. She helped me calm down, let me vent, and constantly checked that I was happy with how I looked. She knew I was in a bit of a mood while she finished me up so she hung around a little while to make sure I didn't change my mind. I didn't. I thought it looked great!
  
  I will say, she even offered her own slip that she was wearing to my mom when it was discovered my mom's dress was a little see-through.
  
  Seriously, Brit was like a wedding super hero that kept us glued together and firmly on the ground the morning of my wedding. AND we all left looking absolutely fabulous.

  Offsite Hair and MakeUp On Point

  My daughter is a regular customer with Bluebird Salon, so when it came time for her wedding. Bluebird Salon was her first choice. We needed to have hair and make up done off site, for 10. She planned to have both hair and make up done, as did both mothers. Each of the bridesmaids was given the choice of either hair or makeup which worked out very well. 2 stylists arrived, on time and with all the supplies. We had estimated time slots for each person. The stylists remained on schedule and finished on time. It was calm and stress free which are key ingredients to the beginning of the big day. Everyone was happy with the finished results... Everyone was happy with the finished results and did not change a thing. The big plus was that it turned out to be a very windy day. My daughter, the bride, had a low bun. Not one hair was out of place and it remained perfect all night. It was amazing. We would highly recommend Bluebird either in their salon or off site not only for the talent, but also for their kind and calm nature.

  I use Bluebird for my regular salon, so it was obviously my top choice for my wedding. Everyone I worked with was completely awesome and excited for my big day, and they were all really good about scheduling around my crazy week.

  Bluebird salon was great to work with. They were going through their move during my trial so the girl who was originally going to do my hair and makeup left. They found me a wonderful replacement and everything turned out wonderfully. They got my, my bridesmaids, and mom's hair and makeup done on time and everyone looked gorgeous! All of the girls here are great.

  I loved having Bluebird Salon for my hair for myself and my bridesmaids at the wedding! Melissa was our stylist and she was wonderful in that she was able to listen to what each of us wanted and translate it beautifully into our wedding hair for the day.
  
  
  I didn't use them for my makeup but was thrilled with all of our hair styles for the day!

  Ariel did my hair make up and also brought her assistant to work on my 3 bridesmaids and my mom for my wedding. They were so kind to drive down to Santa Barbara and bring their services to me which was so accommodating. When I did my hair and makeup trial, I was very unsure of what look I wanted. Ariel helped me find a look that I really liked and made me feel very beautiful. For someone like me that doesn't where make up or do their hair much, I felt very comfortable and gorgeous.

  Danica at Bluebird Salon did my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids’ hair for my wedding day. I first went in for a quick, free consultation with Danica where I showed her some pictures and she gave me some ideas, and about three months before the wedding I went in for a trial run. Danica is great at giving ideas, being flexible when you want something changed, and knowing what will look great on you and on camera. On wedding day, she showed up on time, looked at the pictures my bridesmaids brought for their hair and started working right away, and got all three of us done with time to spare!   Ryan did mine and my bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding day. She was very responsive by email and able to schedule my consultations prior to the wedding even though i live in the bay area. She provided a very detailed schedule for the day of and brought all of her equipment and an assistant to my venue/hotel. She was a pleasure to work with, very easy going and very professional. Everyone enjoyed being around her and she did fabulous hair and makeup! Everyone looked and felt gorgeous. She was flexible and took into account my suggestions and the individual persons. She uses airbrush makeup which looks flawless. Her Prices are competitive and well worth it!

  Jenn Hix was the makeup artist for my wedding day and she did a perfect job. Jenn listened to what I wanted as a client (vs. someone who puts you in "their style" of makeup no matter what you say). My look was vintage and done in a way that enhanced my natural beauty. People commented on how great I looked after my trial run, and whoa did I look good the day of my wedding. I could see it in everyone's faces, and Jenn deserves credit for her contribution. Five stars Jenn, great job!

  Taylor was a sweetheart. She listened to what I wanted and created a masterpiece. I loved the atmosphere at Bluebird Salon, everyone was fun and so friendly. I looked fabulous on my wedding day and so did my bridesmaids and the mothers! I loved the mimosas and pastries for my wedding party.
