Jaw-droppingly gorgeous wedding flowers!
We used Blue Ridge for our April wedding in Charlottesville and were blown away. Amy is a true artist and the flowers were unbelievable. My mom and I both started crying when we first saw them - and they weren't even fully assembled into arrangements yet! Amy took time to understand our vision and executed a truly gorgeous event. I can't tell you how many people told us that this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! -

Daughter's winter wedding
Amy and her team really listened to our daughter's vision for her December wedding. The colors, the bouquets, table arrangements and multitude of candles and votives surpassed what we hoped for. We highly recommend Blue Ridge Floral Design for a beautiful wedding. -

From the moment we first met with Amy, I knew we had made the right decision in hiring Blue Ridge Floral. During that planning meeting, she immediately took our color scheme and plans and came up with ideas on the spot that matched exactly what we wanted. She was not only responsive to our ideas, but also came up with amazing ideas for arrangements that we never could have on our own.
On the day of, I was wowed by everything. From the boutonnieres, the bouquets, the fall foliage at the ceremony, to the circular arbor behind our sweetheart table, to the centerpieces and the details: everything was perfect. When I saw Amy the next morning, I told her I had to give her a hug for just how incredible everything looked! If you're getting married in Charlottesville, Amy is the best of the best. -

From the first phone conversation to wedding day, I felt confident that Amy grasped my daughter’s vision. I greatly appreciated all the time reviewing and revisiting that vision as it evolved during the planning process. Amy continued confirming things until the week of the wedding giving us her expert advice! She kept fine tuning it till it was perfect!
We are thankful for Amy’s attention to detail, talent, and creativity! WOW that was what I murmured to myself when I walked down the aisle :D
Amy and her team absolutely, ABSOLUTELY outdid themselves!
We gave Amy an idea, and let her run with it… she always seek our input on things, making sure it was something we envisioned. She tried her best to work within our budget, and made full use of every penny. We could tell, she took into account our personalities and work it into the flowers! I had my beautiful dream arbor - really appreciate her generosity on that..
Everybody could not stop talking about how gorgeous everything was. The details, the colors, the mood of the flowers, everything was exactly how we imagined it to be. The flowers were vibrant, fresh and so artfully-arranged.
She does not play when it comes to the bouquets, everyone was talking about how gorgeous and abundant my bouquet was! They looked so enchanting in reality and in my wedding photos. The photos taken by Josh Bingham speaks for themselves.
When we needed an extra boutonniere last minute, they were so quick to get one together for us. I will highly recommend Amy and her team!

Amy is absolutely incredible and so wonderful to work with. Hiring Blue Ridge Floral was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. With my little knowledge of flowers, I wasn't great at describing what I envisioned and needed extra guidance. Amy patiently worked with me to pull together a vision and a plan - and what she created was so much more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Amy (Blue Ridge Floral) is amazing and absolutely wonderful to work with! The flowers for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous — we could not have dreamed of anything better! She spent so much time with us prior to the wedding working to understand what we were looking for in our ceremony. She went above and beyond — she took the time to meet with us at the rentals shop in town to compare tablecloths, and she also met with us at the venue to let us pick out different flower combinations.
Amy also did a great job of helping us achieve the look we wanted within our budget, which we were so grateful for. Amy was super flexible with rescheduling when COVID hit, and we were so appreciative to her for that! We cannot recommend Amy and Blue Ridge Floral highly enough! -

Amy really exceeded our already high expectations for our wedding day florals. I was hoping for something modern and a little out of the box for our floral scheme with ombre tones from light pink to fuchsia and phalaenopsis ("moth") orchids. Amy is clearly very experienced and educated within her field and knew offhand which types of flowers we could focus on for our late August wedding. At my first look with my (now) husband, one of the first things he said to me was "Wait until you see the flowers." (and this is coming from someone who previously had little interest in this area). They really were magical. My bridal bouquet alone was stunning and filled with the largest moth orchids I had ever seen! The ceremony and reception decor were an amplified version of my wildest dreams for those areas. The photographs - taken by Shannon Moffit - speak for themselves. Amy is truly a floral artist!
It's clear Amy is an expert at what she does. Not only were the florals beautiful, but she also is so helpful during the planning process. She wanted to understand the entire look and feel of the wedding to ensure the florals and greenery complemented everything else. The results were stunning, and we appreciated her upbeat attitude and responsiveness during the 2 years we were planning, having to reschedule due to COVID. I highly recommend Amy to anyone! -

Breathtaking Experience with Amy and BRFD
I honestly can't put into words properly how much I loved working with Amy and she literally took my vision for our reception space to a whole other level. She is kind, caring, listens, professional, TALENTED, and invests herself in your wedding day as if you were her daughter. There was an audible gasp when the doors opened to our reception! The best in the business!
Amy and her team are nothing short of miracle workers.
As someone who has very little flower knowledge, I wasn't very helpful in describing what I wanted for our wedding. But Amy absolutely nailed it. She and her team created the most beautiful centerpieces, bouquets, arbor and more for our wedding. She helped put the entire ballroom look together -assisting with picking out table clothes, table numbers and more. While Amy is extremely talented, she's also extremely kind. Because of the pandemic we had to postpone our wedding two times - through each delay she was there for us, reassuring my husband and I that everything would work out. She was right and thanks to her and her team, our day was beautiful! -

Abundant, authentic and amazing flowers
Blue Ridge Floral's designs gave us hope and brought joy, at a time when we are searching for a return to what is authentic and meaningful. No detail was too small for Amy's full attention -- arrangements for the MOB and MOG were stunning, the buttoners for the groomsmen, and the bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets were gorgeous. The table arrangements, the arbor, and the large vases at the head of each row transformed the barn. Even with last minute rain that required us to change the set up at the last minute, the flowers were perfect in every way! -

Amy is the most amazing, talented florist you can find. On top of that, she is the kindest, most thoughtful person and goes above and beyond for her brides. When our original wedding venue cancelled on us due to COVID Amy was the first vendor I called. She talked to me for over an hour walking me through different venues in the area which was helpful beyond words (we aren’t local to the area). My husband and I decided to do a micro wedding this year and postpone the big celebrating to next. Amy is doing the flowers for both and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the beautiful arrangements her and her team created for this year’s wedding. My mouth dropped open when I saw it all. Amy understood the vision I had for the day and brought it to life. I completely trusted her opinion and can’t wait to see the magic she works again for next year. Fabulous in every way!
It’s been over two months since the wedding and I’m still getting compliments about all the florals Amy designed for us. The UVA chapel was breathtaking. It was elegant, yet simple and the greenery complimented the chapel’s natural beauty. The bridal party flowers were absolutely beautiful. While everything that Amy and her team did for us was perfect, my favorite flowers were at the reception!! I was beyond amazed when I walked into the ballroom. The table arrangements, mantle and greenery over the door were even better than I could have hoped for. Stunning!!
Amy worked with me throughout the planning process. She helped me to stay within my budget and allowed me to contribute to the design ideas. She took my ideas and elevated them beyond what I could imagine. I’ll always remember the fabulous MOSS!! Blue Ridge Floral Design was a delight to work with from start to finish.

Stunning Florals
Amy is truly THE BEST and provided flowers for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding! I am not a huge flower person and really had no idea where to even start. When I met with Amy and my planner, she immediately came up with great ideas for flowers that would be available in November. We were using a very unique color for our bridesmaid dresses and I sent Amy a swatch, hoping she could get something similar for pops of color in their bouquets. She offered to put together a sample bouquet and arrangement closer to time and exceeded all my expectations. When it came time for the wedding, I couldn't even believe how gorgeous the reception space looked and multiple of my bridesmaids (who are married!) said these were the most beautiful flowers they had ever seen. Amy is a pure joy to know and work with, you will not be disappointed hiring her! -

Fairytale Flowers
Amy was amazing to work with. She is so kind and talented. She really listens to what you want for your bouquets, centerpieces, and other decorations and then executes it perfectly. When I first saw our reception room, I was blown away by how beautiful it was. Amy made it feel like we were walking into a real life fairytale. My favorite part were the gorgeous ladders hung above our head table and decorated with greenery and candles. It was stunning. People could not stop talking about how beautiful the room was and this was all thanks to Amy. I still can't get over how breathtaking it all was! I think the pictures speak for themselves here, just so lovely! -

Best florist!
We highly, highly recommend Blue Ridge Floral Design for your wedding flower needs. Amy was such a joy to work with. Wedding flowers were initially so intimidating to me (I knew very little about flowers, and so many choices/decisions!). After my first call with Amy, I knew I was in great hands – she immediately put me at ease.
What I loved about Amy: she is a fantastic listener. I gave very high-level guidance (I don’t like roses, I do like tulips and orchids, love greenery…), and she was able to translate my preferences into a ‘theme’: structured, white flowers with lots of loose greenery. Once we landed on that, I just let Amy take the creative reins, and boy did she crush it! Our guests were raving about the arbor and reception centerpieces.
Also, I have to call out the bouquet. I was so in love with it! Amy did an amazing job creating a beautiful, loose bouquet as I had requested, but also kept it ‘small’ enough where it didn’t overwhelm my petite frame. After the wedding, I took my bouquet with me on my honeymoon – I wasn’t ready to let it go!
Finally, Amy worked with my mother-in-law to create the coolest flower arrangements for our fly fishing-themed rehearsal dinner. Her arrangement in a fishing basket was so unique and beautiful! It was so creative and different from our day-of wedding flowers, which really shows the diversity of Amy’s talent. She can do it all!

Our wedding would not have been as beautiful without the brilliance of Amy’s work. Amy is the best and an absolute master of her craft. She knew exactly what flowers we wanted just by how our wedding planner explained our vision. She knew what flowers were in season and which flowers could replace ones that we wanted that weren’t in season.
At one point we changed our vision and Amy stepped in and adapted immediately. She kept in touch with us until she was confident that everything was exactly what we wanted to the last petal.
The venue we picked was already outside and we didn’t want to take away from the natural beauty with too much. Amy found the perfect balance and her flowers truly accentuated the surroundings.
Finally the bouquets!! When I saw my maid of honor’s bouquet I thought it was mine! It was gorgeous and so detailed. So when I got mine, I was overwhelmed! It was absolutely breathtaking. I loved it so much I had it preserved and framed.
My day would not have been the same without Amy’s beautiful work!

What Amy and her team made was so unbelievably beautiful and added such magic, elegance, and whimsy to my wedding day and I cannot thank them enough.
I literally cried while finally taking my bouquet apart to attempt to preserve it. In fact, we didn't do a bouquet toss because I thought they were too gorgeous to toss 😂
I will forever recommend her services to anyone having a wedding or special event in the future - I am so glad we trusted Blue Ridge Floral Design and her vision for the space. The day would not have been nearly as magical without her, her team, and her drop-dead gorgeous florals (and poplar, too!).

Amy exceeded my expectations with her gorgeous floral designs. I was a bride with some really big wedding-flower dreams, and she made those dreams a reality. From the gorgeous head-table garland dripping with flowers, to the stunning floral over hang, to our Chuppah covered in roses, hydrangeas and greenery, Amy blew me away. She really listened to what I wanted and worked extremely hard to make it happen.
Throughout wedding planning, Amy was so flexible and easy-going. I changed most of what I wanted a few months before the wedding and Amy easily went with the changes!
Amy is a kind, genuine, and truly talented person. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who wants gorgeous, statement-making florals at their wedding. -

I am admittedly NOT a flower person - I don't know anything about them, I don't have a green thumb - but I know what color combinations I like, and what I wanted the overall aesthetic to look like. I provided Amy with some images, a description of what I was imagining, and she brought it all to life. She has a great vision, and is open to feedback if something she recommends at first doesn't feel right. I was absolutely blown away when I saw the ballroom, ceremony site, and all of the bouquets - she exceeded by expectations by far, and was worth every penny.

I sent various florists my vision boards for the color palette, floral arrangement ideas, overall esthetic and they all came back about 2-3 times more expensive than Amy, plus Amy was very responsive (I got barrel arrangements, seating row florals, hanging ladder over head table, endless centerpieces, candles, table runner, rehearsal dinner florals, boutonnieres, bouquets etc. - basically, I got everything you could and she pulled this off effortlessly). She is easy going, knows exactly what she's doing etc. You have to trust in her ability to go with a color palette and idea and turn it into something more beautiful than you yourself could imagine or even better than those Pinterest photos!! Scoop this team right up if you're in the Charlottesville area as I could see this hidden gem becoming almost impossible to book once our wedding photos are posted, no joke!!! -

Center pieces, bouquets, ceremony row holders, etc. I only had met with them after my wife and her mother had selected them but they picked the right choice. They were so easy to work with and a family run business that truly enjoys and loves what they do. They even offered to supply our bride/groom bench we used for the reception. Their flowers looked great and a easy choice if anyone needs a florist for any event.

We worked directly with Amy, who was absolutely fantastic and helped guide us through our flower selection. She helped create the perfect floral design for our wedding reception at Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards on August 2, 2014. Given the venue has so much character, we wanted to make sure to compliment the natural, vineyard chic ambiance - Amy easily did this by combining hops (for the groom!), a mix of white ohara garden roses, seeded eucalyptus, dusty miller, succulents, queen annes lace, white lisianthus and much, much more. In addition, her decor was fantastic - from the elegant antique doors we used at our ceremony site, to the rustic wood boxes for the centerpieces - everything was perfect.
Amy was just a pleasure to work with as well, and although I know she was busy with numerous weddings, she made sure every single detail of our wedding floral design was flawless. A HUGE thanks to Amy and her team. Thank you for making our day so special! -

In the end, I just let Amy do whatever she wanted & it turned out fabulously! Everything was absolutely perfect. She found the flowers I wanted in Chile and had them delivered in time for my wedding. Her work was so awesome, I ended up with 3 bridal bouquets and I was torn between all of them. My reception looked like something out of a dream.
