  We decided on Blue Plate Special for our catering, and we are extremely happy we did. They had a great selection to choose from, and the prices were fair and affordable. We chose the Chicken Marsala with Red Skin Mashed Potatoes, Organic Mixed Greens with Pepitas and Jicama, 2 large fruit trays, cheesecake, water, and iced tea. Everything was very fresh and tasty. All of our guests were very pleased. We ordered for 50 people and had some left over, so the staff boxed up what was left so we could take it home. Rebecca was very helpful throughout the entire process, and the servers were professional, friendly, and well organized. Their set up was elegant, too. Highly recommended!

  From the moment we contacted Blue Plate to cater our wedding, they have been extremely professional and provided high quality service and food. Everything was tasty, the staff was lovely, and the owner and wedding coordinator were so organized and professional that my husband and I could relax knowing that the catering would be without problems.

  This by far is one amazing catering company. They recently did the catering for my sons wedding which was a very unique wedding. It was a 7:30am ceremony with a breakfast buffet. This meant that the caterer had to be at the venue around 5:30am setting up! They were there on time and had everything set up exactly the way my son and his wife wanted it. They had asked for some unique staging things such as small doughnuts placed on milk bottles with straws for all the guests and a coffee machine with varieties of coffee. All was PERFECT!! I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were great to work with and did an awesome job following up before the wedding in order to make the entire event a dream come true!

  Vicki at Blue Plate Special responded to our request for information the same day we reached out. She met with us right away and helped us develop a menu that perfectly suited our casual camping weekend wedding in the nearby national forrest. She went with us to the venue which was 25 miles out of town. They do not offer wedding planning services technically but her ideas helped us develop our plan into exactly what we wanted. The catering staff was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful to our guests. Everyone commented on the great food and the great service. We could not have been happier with the services provided and their great can-do attitude.

  Blue Plate Special was professional and the waitstaff was super friendly. My husband and I were very happy with the food they provided and so were our guest. We appreciated that Blue Plate worked with us to provide both vegetarian/vegan dishes for our guest. They were fantastic!

  I wasn't able to "test" the food before I ordered, but I had heard many great things about them, so I took a huge risk in having them cater my wedding; it was a HUGE success! the food was FANTASTIC, and the catering help was great.

  Our venue recommended Blue Plate Special (BPS). Of all the caterers we interviewed, BPS was the most elaborate proposal. This made me very comfortable knowing many details were included and did not expect any suprises.
  
  Initially, we met with Vicki who was sweet and knew our venue quite well. During our tasting, she was able to make suggestions on food pairings that were in our budget and provided other suggestions on seating arrangements and linen colors. However, as we neared the wedding date she was not responding to my emails, which made me nervous. Also, when we met for our final payment she was a bit disorderly, where she did not have the right times and she never ordered the tables we requested. So I was very upset and nervous on what to expect on our wedding day.
  
  On our wedding day, we had Eloy and his staff. They were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful and made sure my husband and I did not have to lift a finger. They were helpful, coordinated well with the other vendors, and very professional. We loved the food and had many compliments from our guests as well.
  
  After our wedding, I met with Joe, the owner. We were allowed to provide our own drinks and they held the remaining few from the wedding after we came back from our honeymoon. Joe is very friendly and is always working toward providing better service.
  
  BPS will work with your budget and provide food to your liking.
