The BEST DJ ever!!!
I honestly don’t know how to start on thanking DJ Johnny.. He really put on a show for our special day. I’ve never seen any of my family (aunts, uncles, parents, cousins) dance before and I was seeing dance moves from ALL of them all night long! My now husband is an extreme introvert, and told me “good luck getting me on the dance floor” for our wedding night. He was out on the dance floor singing and dancing with me for hours. Johnny made it his top priority to keep us happy and keeping his vision aligned with our vision. He played all of our must haves and never played anything we didn’t want to hear even if it was requested. He took care of the rest and really knew how to get the crowd hyped, and we even had much of an older crowd attending. Johnny was astounding and I wouldn’t want anyone else if I ever had to throw a party again. He even went out of his way to schedule a Zoom meeting with me to talk about what he could do to help make our day the best he could and tell me a little about himself and how he likes to DJ. Couldn’t recommend him enough to anyone planning any sort of event. 11/10!!! (His uplighting extra is also fantastic)

This was the best choice I made for my whole wedding. DJ Johnny set the mood for the whole night! He made everything fun, he did everything was such smoothness and ease. He already knew what I wanted without me even saying it & he pays very close attention to detail. One of my guests had mentioned to him that one of my cocktail hour songs was my parents wedding song (who are both no longer with us) and then he played it again at the most PERFECT moment after my sisters speech. If I ever need a DJ for any other event - I am calling DJ Johnny. I am eternally grateful.

Johnny was amazing to work with. He listened to everything we wanted and didn’t want and he truly did deliver the perfect event. A DJ that goes over & above!
DJ Jonny performed at our wedding in June at Horsepower Ranch. He was absolutely phenomenal!! Not only did he provide a high-energy environment for our guests, but he showed up in a kilt in 95 degree weather to impress our Scottish guests! Our experience with Blue Chip Entertainment and DJ Johnny was better than we could have ever imagined. We had been to several weddings where the DJ was subpar, and that was one of our biggest concerns at the beginning of the planning process. As soon as we had our first call with Johnny, all of our concerns were alleviated. He answered all of our questions with professionalism and expertise, and we trusted him to create the perfect atmosphere for our reception - and he did! He was very friendly and welcoming to our guests and creatively used his own mixes to enhance the evening. He is also very charismatic without pulling attention or being showy, and our guests raved about how good he was. I could not recommend Blue Chip and DJ Johnny more!

The dj and mc you need
Everyone knows how important music is for a wedding but nobody ever thinks how crucial it is to have a good MC to set the tone. My husband and I can confidently say, not only is Johnny an amazing DJ, he is THE BEST MC. He is so engaging and adaptive with the crowd and maintained the perfect energy/ vibe throughout the whole event. Our dance floor was full the entire night!! Our wedding wouldn’t have been half as fun if we didn’t hire Johnny, we are so grateful for him :)

Literally the best DJ you can have!
DJ Johnny was absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! From our initial consultation to the ongoing planning meetings up to the wedding day, Johnny did very well to consider our music tastes and priorities, along with making us feel comfortable and confident in his skills. His prices are extremely reasonable with uplighting included! He expertly handled the music for ceremony and helped us fine tune our vision to play instrumental anime songs for our ceremony prelude music. As an MC, he handled hosting very well, coordinated a hilarious Scavenger hunt game during the reception, and kept everyone engaged. We got numerous compliments from our guests about how great the music was! Our reception music was a total vibe and he had my new husband and I sweating on the dance floor from the amount of dancing we did. Even the grandmas and kids were dancing! He was also considerate to include soca and dancehall music from our Caribbean culture during the reception! Overall, I could not recommend Johnny enough and we're so glad we chose him as our wedding DJ!

Can’t describe how much DJ Johnny made our wedding day special. He worked the crowd from before the ceremony up until the last dance!! I had had high expectations and Johnny exceeded them. We had so many people tell us how good the music and the DJ was, he incorporated songs I wanted played as well and knew just when to play them. I promise you will not be disappointed!! Amazing amazing amazing! DJ Johnny not only kept up with the crowd, but he made our day magical! He was very interactive and and caring! Before the wedding started, he made sure to find me to let me know that if he sees anything going out of control, he would step in to make sure that my husband and I were happy and things were going smoothly, I didn’t have to worry about a thing! From the moment we had our first meeting I knew he was a perfect fit! He is worth every penny to make sure you have the best DJ and experience there is! 100/10 recommend! If you are looking for someone to keep the party live and the dance floor full Jonny is your guy. He did an incredible job at our wedding getting people out of there seat and on the dance floor. Johnny was our DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job! I have never seen a DJ interact with the crowd like he did! The music was great and the dance floor was never empty! BEST DJ hands down! He got all my guests up and dancing on the floor for my wedding(which is what I wanted) he was super interactive and had people coming out of their comfort zones! DJ Johnny from Blue Chip Entertainment was absolutely AMAZING! He was super flexible with meeting up with us before the ceremony. He also made sure that he had all of the music that we requested. And his work at the reception was FANTASTIC. He had the dance floor going all night and his music selection was great! He was super engaging and interacting with the guests in a way that I have never seen! Multiple guests that I have spoken to after the wedding can't stop ranting and raving about how great DJ Johnny was. I would get him for all of my parties and get togethers if I could!! Johnny knew going into our wedding reception that we were looking for a party and that is exactly what he provided. The man knows how to work a crowd - he is interactive, lively, encouraging, and engaging with everyone. The energy that Johnny has is contagious and played a huge role in our dance floor being full all night long!
The highlight of our night was when I shared with Johnny that I wanted Bohemian Rhapsody to be our last song played since it is my husband and I’s favorite song to jam out to. Johnny took that request and made a whole experience out of it. Johnny had everyone make a circle around my husband and I while we sang out little hearts out. It was an experience that I will never forget and truly was a perfect ending to our night!
Johnny – I cannot thank you enough for making our wedding reception the best night ever! All of our guests have continued to rave on and on about how much fun it was and that is all thanks to you. I wish I could relive the night over and over again!

I'm a little behind on posting my review, but WOW! DJ Dennis was my DJ and all I can say is I am so so happy that we went with Blue Chip for our wedding. Professionalism, punctuality, flexibility, ENERGY!! If you want a boring event, don't look to them. I have been to many weddings and have always seen the DJ be the center of attention after the wedded couple. And I just want to say… Johnny was absolutely the best DJ anyone can ask for. His positive energy, his style and swagger is absolute impeccable. His communication was amazing, his willingness to work with us and make it the absolute best night of our lives exceeded ours and both sides of the family’s expectations. My FEET are still healing from that night. How do I even thank you enough for making it perfect. First off to anyone reading my husband and I are not a traditional couple. We had a cosplay wedding and this guy DELIVERED. We wanted people to be having fun and dance the night away. Everyone stood till the last song and still wanted to party.
When talking to Johnny throughout the two years (we booked him right after the venue) its not only your DJ but also a friend. The whole process I felt safe and knew he was going to kill it that day. Of course COVID hit during the time and I was so worried for my wedding Oct 17 2021. I heard so many horror stories of other brides loosing there deposit and vendors due to the contract. Johnny put me at ease. I messaged him and he told me don't worry I will be there and if it gets canceled or rescheduled we will work it out.
The best part was him getting into the theme of our wedding and dressing the part. He was SUPER. He played our nerdy request and was always respectful when guest wanted to make an annocement and got our permission.
If I could I would scream out loud at the top of my lungs BOOK HIM. Johnny will keep your guest entertained and will have them dancing the night away.

DJ Johnny is THE Life of the Party!
We LOVED DJ Johnny! (aka The Shoe Snatcher LOL) DJ Johnny is, quite simply, an entertainer. He is a fantastic DJ, comedian, story-teller, dancer, and was so responsive to the energy he was receiving! There was never a pause or awkward moment happening. Every single guest, young and old, was on the dance floor at some point in the night. I have never seen my Dad dance more than a little shuffle, and at our wedding, DJ Johnny got him to bring out the big moves! After the wedding, my husband and I could not stop talking about how great our DJ was! Seriously, do not hesitate because DJ Johnny is worth everything and more. Thank you DJ Johnny!

When you get into the adult life and all the responsibilities that comes with it you forget what it is like to go and have a good time without disconnecting of all that. This DJ made that happened, he was able to play a mixture of all kinds of music to please everybody but not only that he takes you out of your comfort zone and come up with all of this dances that makes you want to try and dance! Fabulous experience! We met DJ Johnny at a wedding show and his vibe and personality matched what we wanted for our reception. Our family is West Indian so it was important to us to find someone who understood our celebration style. He’s extremely polite and professional, and we had amazing communication with him throughout the process. He was always willing to work with what we needed for the preparations for our event, right down to multiple situations that almost resulted in our event cancellation.
We ran into a hiccup on the actual day but we were so impressed with the way he handled everything. Boy did he deliver! Johnny was our entertaining, high-energy, MC who was a part of the reception as if he’d known our family and friends for years. It’s obvious that his goal is making your event a hit because all of our guests had a ball! We have zero regrets in choosing Johnny to do our event and we highly recommend him to make your special day memorable!

DJ JNew Johnny Newman was hands down the most amazing wedding DJ ever. He literally made our day and is a true party starter. He is also incredibly cost effective. Hands down whenever we have an event we will use him every single time. If you are thinking of booking with this company do not hesitate. Our day was 100 times better because of him.

The party starts when HE walks in !!
Working in the wedding industry, as soon as I got engaged, I knew EXACTLY who I wanted as our DJ! I have witnessed first- hand the way DJ Johnny interacts with guests and knew that was what I wanted for our special day! Johnny is one of the best decisions we made for our day!! All of our guests wanted his information for their next party! He gets everyone involved in dancing and on the floor just having a good time. He was also incredibly easy to work with, and always responded in a timely manner.
Seriously, if you want a P-A-R-T-Y with a DJ who really cares about his clients, Blue chip entertainment is the ONLY way to go. I would 1000% hire him again for any event we hold!!

Absolutely amazing!
DJ Johnny was absolutely amazing. We knew from the day we met him he was the DJ for our wedding, we even planned our date around when he had availability and he didn’t disappoint. He ensures everyone has a great time and thoroughly enjoys the night dancing. He definitely gets the party going, even getting out there and showing how it’s done. No detail goes unnoticed with him, from how well he dresses and matches the theme of the day, to his set up on the day of. DJ Johnny will not disappoint, all everyone has said since the wedding was how amazing the DJ was. I cannot recommend him enough! Just be ready to dance out of them shoes!

Dancing the Night Away
DJ Johnny is a true performer and the only entertainment your event will need! From the moment we reached out, his replies were always extraordinarily prompt and full of excitement and energy. That same energy is brought to the event and to the dance floor. He took the time to get to know us and our tastes and tailored the song selections to our vibe. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were lovely but the moment dinner was done, he was pulling our Guests onto the dance floor to start the party! He kept us all going until the very end, even on a Monday he brought his A game! This is the way.

Best. Dj. Ever.
DJ Jnew was definitely the best dj we could’ve hired for our big day! He had such a variety of music styles and had all of our guests on the dance floor all night!! I didn’t even want the night to end the music was amazing! He even got on the dance floor himself a couple of times and even taught all of my guests a whole dance routine. DONT THINK ABOUT IT TOO MUCH, HIRE HIM!!! You won’t regret it!!! Party was lit allllll night.

The life of the party!
DJ Johnny was so much more than a DJ, he was our our host for the entire night. He is so friendly and instantly feels like an old friend when you talk to him. He accommodated some last-minute (literally the night before) requests and my guests are still raving about him! We had a smaller wedding but Johnny brought the party to life!

The BEST DJ ever! Highly recommend DJ Johnny
From the beginning Dj Johnny was absolutely incredible. His personality alone made him stand out from the others. Extremely welcoming with the perfect voice that you can ever imagine as your MC. I highly recommend him for weddings or any other special events. My entire guest list raved about his services and how upbeat he was during the entire wedding! Not only was his recommended playlist amazing, he was dancing with all of the guests and singing along. He helped make our special night even better! Cannot thank him enough and would highly recommend him and his services! You cannot go wrong with the additional cloud machine too.

Book him for anything & everything!
DJ Johnny was the most entertaining part of our wedding by far (my guests are still raving about him)! Not only did he teach everyone his own choreographed line dance, but he also hosted our movie trivia with very little heads up, and was so engaging! He picked the perfect movie themed background music and there was never a dull moment! He was so active on the dance floor, I felt like I got a week's worth of cardio done after the reception! He even got my husband to dance and I've never seen him do that before! We ended the night with a little spontaneous Hamilton karaoke and I loved every minute of it! I seriously can't recommend Blue Chip entertainment enough! He could read the phone book and have you rolling on the floor laughing! Stop looking, BOOK HIM NOW!!!

Look no further!
This review is long overdue but I would be remised if I skipped out on giving this man his flowers. Having Johnny as our DJ & MC made are wedding unforgettable. Sure there were issues like thunderstorms, no signal & spotty wifi, but at the end of the day, none of that mattered. Johnny and I touched based prior to my wedding & I explained to him the vibe I was going for and that it might be hard to get my people to dance. I questioned him on his MC Services because I have seen DJ/MCs in the past and they just didn't get the job done. Johnny promised us a lot and he OVER-delivered. My husband and I was his main focusing the entire night. The chemistry between the three of us was flawless. He knew when to start music, stop music or change. If there was a change, he only needed the slightest eye contact from us to pick up on it. There were people on the dance floor that I was certain would only do a little shimmy (in theirs chairs). If you want to have fun and have your guest entertained and have great music and have no worries, BOOK JOHNNY. If you want bad music and stress, then keep it moving. Thank you Johnny for everything! Johnny is professional and personnel. With only a few simple questions and he know exactly what we wanted to hear. He did a great job getting our guest on the dance floor. We had a mid week wedding with a laid back kind of crowed and he still got them dancing. He is fun and knows how to get a party going. I defiantly recommend him for your wedding or any occasion.

We sincerely had the BEST reception! DJ Johnny kept the party going the entire time! His involvement with the crowd was the most fun part! We loved having him rock out with our guests all night. His song list and music choices were perfection. At no point did we ever have less than 10 people on the floor the entire night. Our guests have commented that it was the single best reception they’ve been to in a long long time. (That block of 90s music was a HUGE hit!!) Honestly, best in the business.

110% recommend Johnny. He knew exactly what to play the entire night, we didn't leave the dance floor. He recognizes the flow of the crowd oh too well. Our experience with Johnny (DJ Jnew) at BlueChip Entertainment was nothing short of perfect. Johnny responded quickly and professionally during planning. He followed up to ensure that all of our needs/wants were met. He greeted us with a warm and lively spirit at our wedding! We had a few unique elements, such as a non-traditional bridal entry song and a very traditional Greek Dance during the reception! That he was able to integrate seamlessly. He worked with our wedding coordinator and photographer to ensure that our event went off without a hitch! He engaged the crowd and emceed perfectly. He provided a great balance of genres and decades of music that appealed to everyone. We received a lot of compliments about Johnny from our guests before the wedding was even over. I'm telling you, he's affordable, he's efficient, he's talented and he is everything you want your wedding DJ to be. THANK YOU JOHNNY!

Johnny is the absolute BEST!! We met him at a vendor showcase and knew that we had to hire him! He is very professional, responds quickly and his prices are amazing! He made everyone feel so comfortable and had everyone on the dance floor. A few weeks after the wedding my aunt was surprised to know that we didn’t know him personally because of the way he interacted with everyone. If you hire him for your event I promise you won’t regret it!!

I found DJ Johnny at another wedding I attended. I knew from that wedding I had to have him. His energy and enthusiasm makes you feel comfortable and excited at the same time. He played all the songs we wanted, the up lighting was beautiful, he even gave us a magical cloud to dance on, all below our budget, I couldn’t believe it!! He keeps the crowd interactive without being pushy. I am so thankful he was our DJ he kept the party going and was so sweet! Honestly nobody wanted the party to be over! Johnny was very professional. He did an amazing job of interacting with our guest, did well with staying on time with the itinerary and is very well spoken. Johnny was phenomenal, he surpassed our expectations. He went above and beyond. He played every type of genre we liked, he took into account the age group at our wedding. He participated with our guests, made us, the bride and groom, feel comfortable and at ease throughout the duration of our wedding, there was never a dull moment.
