Truly Special
My husband (I LOVE saying that!) and I knew that our wedding photography was one of the most important aspects of our big day. I dedicated countless hours to researching over thirty companies and their portfolios, wanting to ensure that the pictures I would cherish for years to come were truly timeless. I was specifically looking for a light and bright style, as I’m not a fan of the sepia tones and darker hues that many photographers use—while they’re beautiful, they just aren’t for me. After thorough consideration, I narrowed my search down to three companies and decided to interview each of them. By the end of our meeting with Moose, we had found our answer.
Both my husband and I can be a bit awkward, so one of our biggest concerns was looking natural in the photos. Moose walked us through how both the engagement shoot and the wedding would unfold, emphasizing that he aims to make everything feel natural. On the day of the shoot, it felt effortless. Moose provided numerous suggestions for poses that helped us look more at ease. It turned out to be the most fun photoshoot we had ever experienced! After our engagement session, we were confident that the wedding day would go smoothly.
Moose is incredibly talented, both in his photography and in his ability to connect with people. He is kind, funny, patient, and truly helps clients enjoy the process of getting their pictures taken. He was always available to answer any questions we had. On our wedding day, I received countless compliments about him as a photographer, even before the pictures were ready. He is simply a wonderful person to be around.
The hardest part after the wedding was waiting for the photos to come back, as I knew they would be perfect. When they arrived, they exceeded all my expectations. I am in love with every shot! Moose not only captured the moments of the day but also conveyed the emotions we felt. Looking back at these memories is something I will treasure for a lifetime. Blu Moose Photography is truly special, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Couldn't ask for a better experience
Words can't begin to describe how thankful I am that we chose Blu Moose Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. The photos are absolutely perfect and capture our personalities and that of our guests perfectly! His artistic eye and his ability to be seemingly everywhere at once are worth every penny. He also went above and beyond the duties of the photographer, reassuring people (including the bride) and not letting a small hand injury stand in the way of getting the best shots (sorry Moose!). Friends and family are equally impressed and so thankful that he also got plenty of pictures of guests and their families. Don't hesitate to book him, you won't regret it! -

Moose and his team were amazing from start to finish. They made the scheduling a breeze and the sessions fun and engaging. I loved the engagement photo shoot just as much as the wedding day photo shoot. They are extremely professional and affable so you feel like you are working together to achieve your perfect dreams. We got married, finally! And our pictures are absolutely perfect. As a starting point, Moose stuck with us through not one, not two, not three, but FOUR different wedding dates thanks to the pandemic. He was understanding, responsive, and made the process of rescheduling (repeatedly) so much easier than it could've been.
Beyond that, Moose was wonderful to work with all through the whirlwind that was our wedding day, and the photos themselves are just incredible. I usually feel really uncomfortable with photos of myself, but some of the bridal portraits he shot actually make me look beautiful even to myself. The candid shots are incredible and full of energy and joy; the posed and family shots are exactly what we had hoped; and the detail shots of our day (for which we offered almost no direction, not having thought about them ourselves) are lovely, poignant little reminders of the little things that helped make our wedding day what it was. As if that weren't enough, Moose was kind enough to gift us a complimentary print of our favorite photo.
I cannot recommend Blu Moose Photography enough. Thank you, so very much, for capturing the love and joy that made our wedding so special. -

Moose has been an amazing photographer for us to work with and advice giver since day 1. He has been so responsive to every message I have sent, down to helping me pick out an engagement photo outfit. Moose came to our dress rehearsal to scope out the venue before our wedding so he was fully prepared. One of the most impressive parts of our experience was during family photos. He had a list of every family member groupings that we wanted, so he was able to fly through that portion seamlessly. We had SO many compliments on our friend Moose. Would 10/10 recommend. -

Fantastic Wedding Photographer
Words cannot describe how fantastic Blu Moose Photography was for our wedding! We are so grateful that we got to work with Moose for both our engagement photos and wedding as well as Morgan for our wedding. Not only are our engagement photos and the wedding photos we have seen so far absolutely stunning, but the overall experience with Moose was fantastic for everyone involved. My husband and I weren’t sure what to expect as neither of us love having our photo taken but the minute we met Moose, we knew it was the perfect decision to capture our big day. He is so kind, creative, passionate and easy to talk that we felt like we had been friends for years during the first time we met to shoot our engagement photos. During the wedding planning process, Moose was so incredibly helpful with assisting with day of timelines and so many little details that I would not have ever thought about. On our wedding day, the weather threw most of our prior plans out the window for photography but Moose and Morgan pivoted from the original photography plan to still give us beautiful photos, despite the weather not turning out well. So many of our friends and family were extremely impressed with the professionalism and kindness that Moose radiates that they want him as their wedding photographer when the time comes. Our wedding day photography turned out so perfect and we highly recommend Blu Moose Photography! Not only did we find a fantastic photographer, but a great friend as well. -

Moose not only went above and beyond what we could have ever imagined. He made sure we were one hundred percent comfortable going into our wedding from the big details all the way to the little ones. He was always a text or email away. The true magic of his talents however shines through in all the pictures! From taking pictures in the middle of bean fields, picturing horses, all the way to breathtaking wedding pictures! -

Blu Moose Goes Above and Beyond
Blu Moose (Talwin) was recommended to us by a family friend and we are so thankful that we had the opportunity to work with him on our engagement photos and wedding photos. It was a fantastic experience all around and we highly recommend Blu Moose to everyone for a wedding photographer. Blu Moose was worth every penny. It was a pleasure having a photographer that was so creative, dedicated, and passionate to make our big day and engagement session perfect. The pictures Talwin takes really speak for themselves – they are exactly what we’re looking for as a couple and we could not be happier with the results for sessions. Our wedding was in Kenosha WI and Talwin drove down to visit the area and venue twice (over 2 hour drive one way) outside of the day of the wedding! If this isn’t dedication – I do not know what is. Outside of photography, Talwin went above and beyond and helped us with the day of schedule ensuring everything went smoothly. He even helped the men put on their boutonnieres day of the wedding and was flexible with changing the location of our photos. We would have been lost without Talwin in the planning process and even the day of the wedding, and now we have all his photos to remember our perfect day. Thank you Blu Moose! -

Moose is such a phenomenal photographer! I can without a doubt look at every single photo he had taken for my engagement and wedding day and see the love, the quirkinesses, and atmosphere between my husband and I. I love how he goes with the flow and in that moment of how your interacting with your partner or your guests, nothing has to be completely forced to where you feel uncomfortable. I love that moose lets you know how your doing, how your looking, he finds those small details he doesn’t just snap a photo in the hopes the couple looks good but also there surrounding, the positioning, everything is so thoughtfully planned with good taste! A beautiful mind to create beautiful photos! Not only was it a joy to get my photos done by moose but also a joy to be around him and his assistant they are genuinely great people with great attitudes. Everyone knows wedding days can become stressful, but moose goes above and beyond to plan everything out from when he gets there to when he leaves! A well detailed summary of what pictures to take first from family members, the bridal party, guests and your own personal ideas. Thats Goals right there! I could not appreciate enough all the hard work moose puts into his work! He offers a variety of photo package deals from all different price ranges, times, and personal preferences to give you your best option on what your looking for! Plus possible added perks! If your looking for a photographer please Don’t hesitate and talk with moose! -

Elizabeth Sent on 08/07/2018Moose is the kind of photographer that you'll want to grab a beer with after the wedding. My husband hates having his photo taken so in addition to finding a photographer who's style I liked and we could afford, I wanted someone he would feel comfortable around. I knew right away Moose was the photographer for us when he offered to review outfit options I was considering for our engagement shoot. He'll be almost as excited about your wedding as you are! Because of an issue at the hair salon when I was getting a blow out before our engagement shoot we were 45 minutes late and Moose was totally understanding about it. He offered us a 2nd engagement shoot even though the delay was totally my fault. As a couple, we're awkward in front of a camera and our wedding was a big dance party so we knew we wanted more candid shots than posed. Moose did a great job capturing the energy of the night even in the very low lighting of our venue. He even stayed to dance with us after he was done shooting. My one regret is that we don't have just a few more portraits of us as a couple on the wedding day, which is what Moose is best at. We had a tight, non-traditional schedule and I didn't communicate clearly that some of the shots I wanted needed to happen before guests started arriving so we lost that time to detail shots being taken. #1 tip for brides with all of your vendors is communicate clearly! Moose is a joy to work with and beyond generous. He surprised us a few months after our wedding by dropping off a set of prints and a bottle of the champagne we served at our wedding. Moose is the whole package and worth every penny!
